After a really long period of blocked feeds with blaring bad music, the nominations are in. Erika and Danielle are on the block, not an unexpected move.
A full report on the various happenings of the evening will be posted a bit later. The feeds have been back for a while, but no one really confirmed it both noms until a few minutes ago.

hey y'all...i'm posting this here instead of under the last update to make sure it gets seen. someone in the last batch of comments was asking if the winner of the coup d'etat gets to use it anytime in the next three weeks...i was under the impression, there were 3 different competitions...one per week for the next three weeks. does anyone know? i'm probably wrong since the surprise would be gone after the first one...

I think Danielle is playing everyone and hasn't won the Coup yet.
If one of them wins the POV, I hope she will see the light and put James up.
The only problem is the Coup, which won't be revealed until Thursday night right before voting.
I don't know what to think of the HOH re-do. I think it should of been redone, but at what point I don't know. I still want James gone after that horrible DR session shown to Kaysar.

Good question about the coup....i believe i heard Julie say the winner will be able to use it for the next three weeks. Now whether that means 3 separate coup comps or if the winner now gets to use it 3 times is unclear. We all see how clear Julie has been lately. How many times has she mentioned that "this HOH comp will be the first of a week's worth of comps" and there is still only one HOH comps....Hope that helps.

i wish danielle has the coup d'etat so she can overthrow janelle and put her on the block along with howie. everybody knows janelle didn't deserve to win the HOH this week....erika got cheated out of HOH. it's not erika's fault that CBS screw things up...therefore she should kept her HOH title. Maybe CBS intentionally did this so janelle can win HOH...i know who is going to win the money b/c it's all fixed by producers...it's either going to be janelle or will....remember will was asked by producer to come back to the show to do the all star and maybe janelle is having sex with producers. who knows but it's very fishy.
Well, having both would save Erika's feelings of being cheated and at the same time, vindicate the error of the game with Janelle's win....just the thought of them sharing a room would make me buy the live feeds :) cause if I am right, neither quite like eachother....hehe

Danielle does not have the coup d'etat - I will go as far to say Howie does, Danelle needs to go, then James, Janelle did well by putting them both on the block.

remember it's a scripted show purely for entertainment, not a reality show...therefore, producers know if howie has the coup d'etat then it doesn't make good tv. they need to stirred things up and create drama by letting danielle have coup d'etat so they can get ratings. danielle over throws janelle who wants to be the only woman in the show among all guys (what a slut she is) and put her on the block. and then following week, janelle wins POV and save herself off the block. Poor howie will be off the show and then another twist starts. without danielle, there is no big brother all star. there will be no drama and no entertainment value...it would be so boring. remember will exist b/c janelle and danielle so he can play both sides...with one gone he would be bored to death in that house....lol

Two simple comments: Having Erika and Janelle co-HOHs was the way too obvious choice for "Good T.V." I do not know what the producers were/were not thinking... The Bikini Brigade would have been fascinating to watch... AND... Loved the "Moms" segment.... could they be more different? Great!

Nope - online polls suggests if a show is scripted and those whom are most popular with the viewers will indeed be scripted towards viewers response like wise, you risk ratings by gambling a rigging result, for example if BB7 was rigged, any great producer knows NOT to award a prize to an individual who the audience dislikes not even for ratings, the ratings however would increase if that prize was given to an individual in which the viewers loved. Danelle doesnt have it, I have esp - hahaaaaaaa -

I actually like danielle and think she's really smart, i just don't like most of the people that appear to be her team:james, marcellas, and erika...I think she'd be better off without them.
As several have mentioned in the "comments" section of the other updates, THIS IS JUST A GAME.
While it's expected everyone will have a favorite they are rooting for and a villian (or two...or three) they dislike, it's really un-cool to resort to elementary school level name calling.
Please, can we all keep it light-hearted and fun...remembering it IS A GAME...and stop the "turn prostitute for money" level comments?

Janelle has over confidence this year. Will and Mike are rich professionals with women that will go above and beyond batting the eye. i think it will be down to will, janelle, and danielle at the end. those 3 makes big brother all star...rest are just extras...with every good drama they have to have extras to support the main characters. maybe best supporting actor goes to chicken george. best supporting actress goes to marcellas. the best actor goes to will and best actress goes to danielle or janelle...they are both good. one plays know it all queen bee dumb blond who is sneaky and wants to be a queen in land of all men (marcellas was right). one plays cold blooded go getter who also tried to make believe she is warm motherly figure that want to protect from the evil ones from S6. i wondered who will producer going to make final decision to give the money to...will who already one the money and he needs more to make his dermatology business more sucessful? janelle who needs money to go to hollywood and become porn star? or danielle who cries that she really need the money for her family? hmmmm....
I did notice that Howie's buzzer didn't work when he tried. So I agree that something should have been done to let him have a chance. Although I don't want him as HOH since I don't like janelle and I think he would keep her. Anyway..but If i'm not mistaken, Janelle was out because she got her answer wrong, not because she was too slow with her reply? So to me she shouldn't have included in the re-do. With that being said.. I have heard tales that Janelle has been in trouble with the law. She had a warrant out for arrest until the show wanted her then she took care of it? I agree with all of the others who say this is just a game. In the long run, does it really matter who wins? I've been watching all the reality shows for years now and I can't tell you who won what. When the show is over, we'll all go back to our lives until the next one. I don't agree with everything that goes on in the house and I don't care for the behavior of most, but to say I "hate" someone or call them names is getting way too involved with the TV. (sorry Jackie, calling James a snake isn't setting a good example for your "fans").
Keep up the good work Jackie, I just found you this year and as much as I hate to admit it, I'm as addicted to your Blog as I am to the show :)

I am not sure now who I want to win BB. For sure not Will, he already won..and cannot believe that he is still in the house. I am not a fan of Janelle's..i think she betrayed her alliance too quickly...granted the game is about who plays the best and who does for themselves and is not about making friends. That is just my opinion........not a big fan of Marc's either...he tends to sway in his alliances...

HG put themselves in the national TV to allow us to comment and judge them...and we are doing just that. The way I heard it explained......America votes and awards the to the King or Queen the The Coup dEtat and it can be used in any of the next three weeks to overthrow the HOH. This means that they may use it when they are not in agreement with the HOH's eviction nominations. Only once may it be used and they cannot tell anyone before they use it what it actually means and the other houseguests will not be expecting it.
To Theresa in WI - Jackie calling James a snake, as in spineless, is a lot different than anon 12:02am and anon 12:18am. calling Janelle malicious names and/or innuendos. Jackie's blog is loved because people who post here keep it clean. We can have our own opinion of how someone's playing the game, but we should leave our personal beliefs of the hg's individual characters out of our comments. Not necessary and not fun to read.

meb - Thanks for the vote of confidence. There IS a difference between my sometimes biased (grin) descriptors of the HG and a few of the comments here. I base my comments on behavior within the house. I'm not going on background from outside the house, nor do I even fathom knowing how the HG are in "real life." Even the show has depicted James as a "snake" - it has to do with what he's doing IN the house.
If Janelle was smooching every guy in the house, I'd be sure to have something to say about it. But she isn't. Her behavior in the house indicates nothing of the sort. I think she's a bit dense in people-reading and I'm calling her on that.
Jackie I agree with you that some of the comments directed at the house guests have nothing to do with their game play. Some commenters are accusing Janelle of getting where she is via the "casting couch" but all I have seen her do this season is flirt. In previous seasons there were house guests that did a lot worse.
Secondly, I feel the producers are not "fixing" the show for people to win that are popular with the viewers. If this were true then last season Kaysar would have won it all as he was the most popular as indicated in America's Choice. As with any "reality" show editing, and in the case of BB, blocking of feeds, can give a different impression of what is actually happening. Viewers of these shows see what the producers want them to see. On occasion we learn tidbits from the House Guests but how much of it can we believe? Just look at the different interpretations we have here in the comment section each time something is said on the show - Some feel Dani won the Coup d'Etat, some think she is playing the others, and then some feel who ever wins the Prom Night vote-in gets it (this theory is not right BTY) - so you see, even when we see things with our own eyes there is confusion.
I know this is a long rant but I felt I had to say something in defense of the producers. CBS has been doing a great job with Big Brother or there wouldn't be this much discussion going on in Jackie's Blog. We all have our favorites in the game and we want them to do well - sometimes we look for a scapegoat when things are not going the way we want them to and CBS seems to be the target for most. I think doing the HOH over was a wise move and I feel it was fair to have all players involved as there could have been malfunctions from the very beginning and a player could have been eliminated because they buzzed in late when in reality the first time they buzzed in it didn't register on the machine. Please give CBS a little break. There are plenty of technical difficulties in the world and this was one of them. I can bet in the future this type of electronic answering will not be used in comps.
In closing I would like to say I am not affiliated in any way with CBS and I do not know any of the house guests personally.
