A house without James and a floater in the HOH room. This week, we'll see how loyal Erika is to Danielle as Chill Town puts the pressure on for a Danielle eviction.
Here are the events of the overnight hours in the Big Brother House of Silly Boys, Distrusting Women and a Chicken Man:
- Erika tried begging Big Brother for alcohol. BB won't give them any on Thursday nights as a rule. She offered more sexy hot tub scenes and more. BB held its ground, no alcohol.
- Will tried to get Janelle to play up to Erika and she refused. She "hates being fake." Will told her the name of the game is Big Liar, not Big Brother.
- Mike told George that he had been the one with the "secret power." [Editor's note: As if no one knew, eh?]
- Erika told George that he would be the only one safe to go on the block with Janelle. He told her he understands, he's used to being nominated.
- Will mentioned he's the only one in the house who hasn't won either a HOH or POV. [Editor's note: He never won any in his season, yet won the show.]
- Mike Boogie said that BB assigned people to watch him with the Coup d'Etat because he was giving hints and that he "almost lost the power."
- There will be a food comp today (Friday).
- Mike and Erika smooched in the HOH room. He's working, y'know. She's Yoko, of course.
- A Will quote: "My future depends on Mike's ability to showmance Erika. That's scary because he farts on her on a regular basis."
- Erika told Mike that Danielle would take her to the final two, while Janelle is a danger to her. He kept working the subtle save Janelle angle, to no avail at this time.
- Erika told Mike that if one of her nominees (at this time proposed, not actually nominated) George or Janelle is saved by the POV, Will will go on the block.
- Mike proposed splitting the winnings. Money talks, we'll see how loud.
- Will kept singing to Janelle, so flame/clouds with bad loud theme music kept happening. [Editor's note: Argh! This show is NOT Big Brother The Musical - why do they all keep breaking out into spontaneous singing?]
- George is asleep, all the others are still awake as I post this.
Today should be food comp and the nominations. How quickly and effectively can Mike showmance Erika to keep Janelle safe while putting a target on Danielle? I don't think it's going to happen. We'll see!

Somehow I don't think that Mike is going to be able to pull this one off with Erika (as much as I wish he could). Unless the split the money ploy works to his advantage.
If Dani would just go, I could live with any of the remaining HG winning! GO JANI.

I so hope she puts up one of Woogie if Janelle or George wins POV. I hope she doesn't screw Danielle. I was hoping she would put Will and Janie up. I figured they Woogie would think they were safe with Danielle and she would keep Janelle. That would be a turn of events.
I think Erika is smarter than they think. She knows she is safe with George and Danielle. I think she also trusts Boogie. Without Janelle or Will her chances are alot better. Hopefully they won't be able to work her.
Will would have a better chance with E then Boogie..although I think if Boogie tried she would listen to him, too. and by try, I mean treat her decently. She is a sad lady and wants to be popular and pretty and liked (don't we all?), So Will platonically telling her those things (pretty, popular, etc) and making her believe him, would probably get her to follow him anywhere. As bad as that is, I think it is true. I think she also would like to be part of a pact that involves her being an equal with Janelle..Will would have to say we want the four of us to be here to party hardy after every one else is gone. I think Erica would buy that over any other line of bull. And Will has many lines to choose from. She really seemed pleased last night to be invited to the hot tub by Janelle.
Will was going on to someone (Danielle?) about Kaysar and Will's plans for the house pre-game. My feeds were cutting in and out and I missed that. What was said?

Well, at least it will be an interesting week to see what really happens. As usual by this time in the season, I don't care all that much who wins anymore. The difference this season (to me, anyway) is that there's less certainty about what's really happening and who's lying to whom and even which lies are more true than others (lol..."true lies", the BB oxymoron).
The only one I really would not enjoy seeing win is Mike. I just don't like his personality and attitude. I was not a Will fan in his season but I have to admit he is an amazing manipulator! In real life, I really don't like manipulators so either I've gotten better at regarding this all as a game...or Will is just that good. LOL.

Will could volunter to be put up with Dani? But is Erica puts up George and Jani...then as long as Jani, Will, or Mike win POV they tell Erica that Jani is coming off and if Will or Mike get put up then they vote out her pawn CG...but they can't say anything till after 1 of the 3 wins POV.
But to avoid the threats..they need to now before the nom's convince Erica she doesn't need Dani and can't beat her. The only HOH Dani has won is the one Erica threw...you could say Erica has won HOH 3 times..same as Jani and more then CT and CG combined. Then convince her if Dani does take her to the final 2...Dani hard working mother will win.
I trust Will thought of this when he thru the HOH competition.

It seems to me that S6's strategy of taking out the floaters first wasn't such a bad idea after all. Now look at the situation, a floater (Erika) is HOH and has the power to take out one of the big guns in the house. This is what S6 was afraid of from the beginning.

I think once Will saw that Janie was out of comp, he was trying to win HOH last night. He was not at all happy to see Erika get it. The way the worded those questions was pretty confusing to me, and then I couldn't remember of true was up or down, lol.

I would LOVE to live in a house with spontaneous singing. Better yet, have it break into spontaneous dance numbers like a cheesy 1980's Lionel Richie video (anybody remember the Pepsi commercials?). What songs would you sing to the houseguests?

Ironicly I think an Erica win is better for CT then Jani. I think Will needs more time to win over Jani. I think she would target CT this week and Erica can be manipulated

If Woogie truly wants to keep Janie in the house, and for some strange reason I believe them, if Erika noms Janie and CG, the only problem they will have is if CG wins POV and takes himself off, because I believe Erika would put Will in his place and then Janie's toast. Wow how's that for a run on sentence! Of course if Erika wins POV she could save George and put Will up just to insure that Janie goes, but I don't think Erika's bright enough to think that one up. Any other thoughts on this?

I think the creepiest thing I've seen all summer is the sight of Erika and Mike hugging and kissing. They look like the offspring of Margaret Hamilton. Just imagine the kids they would produce! Ugh.

Did you notice Danielle and Janelle making a one-week truce *on the live feeds*? I saw it on the normal show but I don't remember reading it on your minutes, and I missed it watching the feeds myself. I wonder if it happened when there were flame-clouds.
If George is on the block with Jani and does not win POV I think George will be gone because Woogie needs Jani to help go after Dani and Erika, in fact no matter who George is up against from CT or Jani George is gone if he doesn't win POV. Now if Will and Jani are on the block Will goes out as long as George stays loyal to Jani because at this point and after the James eviction I think Dani wants CT out more than Jani. Unless after POV both the people on the block get evicted without there being another HOH and Nomination and POV ceremony.
How can Erika make out like she really really means it with Mike? OY. She started the first week crying to Kaysar about her bf (another BB guy) breaking up with her so recently, and now we hear she and Boogie had spoken about dating before they were in the house? And if that is true, was it Mike's strategy pre-house, as it seems all these folks spoke (in varous combos) before the show, some forming alliances or were they interesetd for real? Does she know how he speaks about her (bros before hoes) or this as his "showmance" when she's not around? Even if I were in on it being a game as Ericka, why would a girl sign up to be put in that position publically?
But, she offers to flash the producersin the DR or do more steamy bath scenes for wine...
And no, I don't believe Ericka is playing HIM. You don't hold his face and kiss him as passionately as they showed in the snippet on Thurs's show if so. Maybe to make her ex jealous and to show him how quickly she can move on.
JACKIE!!! SO glad you do Survivor! A much better game and I have been a huge fan of the show since it's first espisode... it's the one that started them all, so I'll be interested to see. Will be making a donation as well... encourage others to do so as well. I've really loved reading your blog.
If Will and Mike get to the final two, WIll is going to win it. WIll SAYS he only came on to help Mike. If it's not legal to split the money, then Mike and his relationship will be damaged when WIll wins over MIke like their last season together. If they can split it, then the producers should not be so incensed we think it may be rigged at times.
I totally agree with what Petals said regarding the houseguests purposfully singing to break the feeds. Especially whenever I read about Will doing it...he is just way too slick to do anything "accidentally." I'm wondering if they are trying to hide game talk, or, possible showmance talk?
Petal, the HOH always plays in POV comp. That time that Janie forfeited the chance to play was the only time HOH did not compete.

Anon-12:25 - I don't know what Mike meant specifically, but I do remember that he got evicted fairly early on in the game. It seems like he thinks he sacrificed himself for Will. I don't remember anything like that. Of course, I can barely remember what I did yesterday, LOL.

I am with you. I think Danielle is a good player, but I really can't stand her. She act like she can turn it on when she wants to, but has yet to win without someone conceding to her.(not necessarily a bad thing). I hope Erika put her up against Chicken George.
Erika is in a tough spot. I think George wins against everyone but Janelle. Erika can only win against Mike or Will. Why is she worried about Danielle carrying her to the final? She won't beat Danielle because of the"floater" status. She needs to stick with CT and dump Danielle. On the other hand the competition is getting weaker making Janelle's HOH chances better.
The Marcellas/Howie scene was as good as any good sitcom...hear me CBS? Jackie thank you for running a clean blog...I appreciate you.

As to the nominations, if Erika nominates Janelle and Chicken George when everyone plays for the POV they should let Erika win and leave her nominations alone. As I see the vote it would be Danielle vote against Janelle, and Chill Town (2 votes) against George. So, no problem. If Janelle gets the POV and ERika puts Will up Janelle and Mike can still vote for George. Either way, Janelle and Chill Town can stay in the house. Then it is up to the HOH competition.
How about Bock Bock Chi-cken Chi-cken Bock Bock "Chicken Head" for George...

what do you think this 1 evictions in one night is. i know the call this a "twist" but its also for programming. will they have an eviction and then HOH right then and there and another eviction?
I really hope Danielle WINS. i loved her in season 3, when she aligned her self from Day 1 (Jason) and almost made it to the end with him (you never ever see this happen). This time around she is a much better player. Erika keeps her safe, (Janelle goes home) I hope then Thursday suprise HOH comp and she wins, Dani, and nominates will and Boogie (then POV Comp) but still guaranting the good bye of Woogie (one of them)

WCA- Danielle is ALWAYS drinking..and usually too much, at that. I think speculation of maybe turning to the bottle a little too much seems very justified. If she didn't drink so often, people wouldn't point it out. Has NOTHING to do with her being a teen mom...it's because she drinks A LOT!

The songs are all good. I am blank, except I was thinking more on Wind than Wings on my earlier post. Then I realized there are more conotations to Wind then just a lot of hot air talking.....and couldn't decide exactly where it all fit......
They made more mandannas yesterday, I heard. But, if I hear right, The Woogie cut up sweat pants instead of t shirts. I guess their heads are just too big now to use the arm sized mandanna.

10:30 BBT- Will has the news everyone wanted to hear, they will be be getting alcohol tonight, BB just wanted to wait until everyone recorded their DRs.
They did get alcohol, they got 4 beers and 2 bottles of wine.
What does the double eviction mean? That the 2 people on the bloack after the POV are gone? Or 2 HOH again? Has it happened in prior seasons so we know the precedent?

i actually think if Mike really poors on the lovin', promises for love after the show, relationship etc... Erica will go for it. If she put Will up, no more Mike lovin' and there is no way Mike would sell Will down the river.. On the other hand Will would sell out Mike.I'm rooting for Janelle but she isn't that strong as a floater. She shoudl of broken Will and Mike up earlier when she had the chance istaed of getting "charmed" by them
BIG BROTHER ALL-STARS, SO FAR IT'S BEEN PRETTY GOOD..I REALLY LOVE WATCHING CHILL TOWN DO THEIR THING. CHILL TOWN ARE PLAYING THE GAME LIKE ALL-STARS AND THATS HOW THIS SEASON SHOULD BE PLAYED. I HOPE THE REST OF THE GAME IS AS GOOD AS IT HAS BEEN SO FAR.
