Well, well, well... the Chicken Man done did it. Who woulda thunk it?
I'm liking the live shows this season. As George would say, "This is SO cool!" I could do without the always-present recap of the last show. Why do they do this all the time with reality shows? And, why is so much time spent on it? Ah, well... to touch on a few things from the show I liked or didn't...
The campaigning was pretty much as I saw on the feeds. I told you George was getting bombarded from all sides, yet didn't really commit. "I like you" isn't a commitment, even though he voted to keep Erika in the long run.
The prom night vintage clothing was fun. Too bad I'll have nightmares of my own prom now. Eep. Howie's hair, as seen here on this blog first(!) didn't come out too bad and he doesn't look bad with a moustache, either. Erika really needs to gain weight - that dress made her collarbones look like lethal weapons. Janelle and Danielle looked very nice! I thought Will looked a bit goofy, as did George. But George is a bit goofy in his regular clothes, so...!
I liked the Janelle/Danielle moms segment and the comparisons. Danielle's mother looks WAY too young to be her mother! I enjoyed how they both thought the girls were a lot alike in their gameplay. And, now I'm not recalling which Mom said it, but one said they should have teamed up on Day One and they would have ruled the house. Spot on!
Howie said he loves April and even Pepperoni! And, even Julie Chen brought up the Spool of Lies and Mike's running when he saw the "ghost of Alison." Perfect!
I went into the actual rules for the Coup d'Etat here and broke down the HOH comp here. Oh! And I clarified the Prom King OR Queen and what Janelle didn't win because she was the exiting HOH here. When I posted my HOH comp entry I was typing as Julie was talking. Did I have that right with seconds or was in minutes without hot water? Either way, neither wanted to go over it, I say!
To me, other than the news of the double eviction and the fact that George (!) won HOH, the biggest news was Marcellas' last words which sealed his fate with anyone who was thinking of supporting him. Almost as good as Sue's "rats and snakes" speech in the first season of Survivor! He put everyone on a guilt trip - "Scumbags and liars! I played the game honestly! And, if you vote me out, you're just scumbags and backstabbing liars!"
Did that backfire or what? But, that attitude is why I haven't enjoyed watching him this season. So, he's out and he's the first member of the jury. Heck, I remember when he said in the beginning he just wanted to make it to sequester. Well, he got his wish.

I'm so happy George won HOH over Dani, I was hoping Howie would win, but that didn't happen. I am also so glad he put James, and Erika up, I was so worried that he would go after Janey and Howie. I just home Janey or Howie wins the POV and don't use it, and the kick that snake (James) out of the BB house. They should have never trusted him.

I am restating my earlier post because it seems everyone has moved on. Did I miss something? I did not hear anything about the "Most Gullible" winner. I was so hoping to see Janelle win and MAYBE start thinking.

Why did *everyone* vote to evict Marcellas (including Howie)?? Please share the show/strategy insight. Howie was going to evict Erika. This kind of thing would happen in Survivor but I didn't have feeds for Survivor, so it's something on the spur-of-the-moment that I don't understand!! Is it really simply because Marcellas guilted everyone (Howie)? Really??
I, too, am hoping that Janie or Howie win the POV--if they get to play! I'm really afraid that if someone else wins it, they may try to use it to backdoor Janelle--though I think George likes her, and he hopefully won't be talked into putting her up by CT. They've never been nice to him, and didn't CG tell Janie that he wouldn't forget that she didn't nominate him?

Quistian - Howie always wanted Marcellas out. Janelle caved to Chill Town, thus his vote.
I am really so sick of Danielle's attitude...she comes across as if she is the only one worhty enough to win this game....but she is really evil and just plain nasty!!!i think the reason the viewers have shown Janie ( Howie too) so much support is because in both seasons she has been the "target" and been ganged up on by most of the HG including James (her so called alliance) and Marcellas ( her so called friend and alliance) And ofcourse she is good at competitions.. of course if the HGs wouldn't throw them maybe she wouldn't win so many....well I think she probably would still win, it's all in the attitude If you think like a winner you are a winner!!! And Danielle is always wanting others to do her dirty work!!
I also do not like Danielle or Chilltown. Danielle's arrogance bothers me as well as she acts is if she is the only intelligent person in the house. Chilltown may be smart game players and good at manipulation; but remind me of immature high school boys. I guess the feeds really reinforce their juvenile antics. It may be a game but there is no need for grown professional men in their 30s to act like bullies and immature little boys. They could be entertaining without acting so childish.
I dread seeing how Boogie will go further in bullying people with this Coup Power. All read on the feeds, he is hatching plans with Dani and Will about telling George he has to backdoor Janelle and do what the house wants! They are going to threaten him that otherwise, they will target him.
Poor George, all ready CT is gunning for him and James too is whining and bullying.

Doesn't George have commitments with Janelle and Danielle for not putting him up, HOwie is his Jedi buddy, and he wants to be in CT, so that only leave James and Erika to go on the block?

It constantly surprises me to realize how many Janelle and Howie fans there are... still. And I shake my head at the comments about Danielle being nasty, etc. Does anyone remember Ms Jani's antics of last season? Her constant smug behaviour? And Howie is so, to put it bluntly, dumb, rude, obnoxious and plain childlike. Hurricane Howie? Who in the bleep does he seriously think he is? Does anyone else notice how even Janelle cringes when he hugs her?
Danielle is a smart woman who more than deserves the money. She plays a great game. Will is cunning and manipulative, but he has never pretended otherwise. George is a simple man with a simple plan who also deserves the money. I do not think of him as a 'floater'. Who actually coined that moniker anyway? James, I agree is a true liar who is as equally disgusting in how he demeans the HG's this season as the S6 did last season.
That said... when has integrity in a reality show ever counted for anything? lol

Hey Jackie...Oustanding coverage by you on this VERY busy night. CG made the right choices because of his previous talks with Jani & Howie, Dani and CT. I'm glad some of the later comments realized Boogie has the CDT power to overthrow CG's noms. When you get the chance, please confirm if there is going to be a POV comp before Sun.'s eviction. It'll be interesting to see if AFTER the POV comp Boogie has or wil use his CDT power. There may not be enough time for ANY campaigning on behalf of the noms. Have a goodnight SWEETIE!

I am so excited!!!! I love George and am thrilled that he put up James and Erika. He has kept everything close to the vest and I am so excited to know how he really feels. I just hope he can pull this off and get rid of one of them, preferably James, out of the house without anyone messing things up. I do have to agree that Danielle does always want everyone to do her dirty work. She is very nasty about things. This season, at least, we know how Janelle and Howie feel. Janelle truly wants to vote the way she says and hates the way the others are playing dirty...she doesn't seem to play dirty, just plays the game. That in itself is dirty to some degree but, I like George, Janelle and Howie. Thanks Vivian
How is it that Danielle is so arrogant, but Janelle is considered such an angel? I think the incredible amounts of peroxide and poster girl looks have made everyone delusional. Good grief. I hope Janelle "sows what she reaps". LOL I mean.. C'MON. That was as intelligent as telling Howie to let the others know he guessed spool of lies to throw them off. And Howie is such a clod. If Janelle wasn't there to tell him what to do he'd never leave the Jack Shack until he was literally blind.

Will may be immature, but not in an offensive way, IMO. HIs is more playful. I do think its a facade and is probably a great doctor with morals on the outside He plays but knows his limits, but Howie is soooo politely incorrect it is sick. The whole "boobie" and "busto" thing is just harassing. He seems like the popular boy in high school who forgot its not cool to be a slacker at 30

...And since I have your attention (which I would tend to covet), how do you watch the feeds? Do you have more than one monitor to handle the four feeds etc.?
Janelle had good reason to be smuge last year. Their was a whole set of people after her and they were just as vicious as she was.
No one said that Janelle was an angel by any means but she sure is coming out of this BB looking a lot better then Danielle and lot of the other house guest.
I mean they have said some really hateful mean spirited things about Janelle that really isn't called for or have anything to do with the game.
Will & Boogie are no different then Howie. They have talked about the bobbies too. Maybe not as much as Howie..lol. Howie wasn't in the Shower with two girls & a guy either. They use women and take joy in it.
There is a reason why Janelle was Americas choice last year and the Queen this year!
But Howie actually WANTED to be in the shower. :^)
Danielle will put herself in solitary confinement to help her cause as well as sacrifice an opportunity to hear from her family. Janelle will screw over the whole house instead and smile about it the whole way reminding everyone who the queen is and they better not forget it.

Please... neither of them are angels, I happen to like Janelle's playing better then Danille - although I do agree if they had bonded together they would have ruled the house. And the comment anonymous said about the "peroxide and poster girl looks making everyone delusional" is just like someone was bitter and a little jealous they didn't get chosen as prom queen...
Speaking of the prom night thing. Did the house guests actually have a prom type of thing or did they just wear those silly outfits for the HOH competition?
