'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Update - Sunday 9/10

Too much time on their hands. What to do? What to do? Well, sleep and brag about what great game players you are! Naturally!

Here are today's events and non-events from the Big Brother House of When Bad Houseguests Go Even Worse:
  • Erika slept until nearly 2 PM their time, Mike until 2 PM. Keep in mind, that becomes almost early evening in my time zone. Sheesh.
  • They really want to get out of the house. Good. I really want them out of there, too.
  • It dawned on Erika that Will's question of her regarding nicknames for him was meant to be answered with "Dr. Delicious."
  • Erika thinks the jury members are a bunch of hypocrites.
  • Mike thinks Janelle and James both hate Erika.
  • Mike thinks he'll win either 6-1 or 5-2. [Editor's note: He might be right.]
  • They both think they would have been perfect jury members. [Editor's note: Hey, they also think they're perfect game players.]
  • Erika thinks the "others" don't qualify as "all stars." [@@]
  • Erika gloated about winning over Janelle.
  • Mike Boogie and Erika talked about the Legion of Doom. Erika thinks that was the stupidest name ever for an alliance.
  • Mike mentioned today that George asked him if he was going to get engaged on the finale again this time. Heh.
  • All of the sequestered houseguests are staying in a local hotel which Mike Boogie was stupid enough to mention to the Internet. [@@]
  • Erika is fussing that she wants it all over with.
  • So do I.

Pat - But at least the houseguests didn't give out the address over the Internet! Now the hotel will have to add security or they'll be moved again. I guess that's why Janelle didn't go to sequester... they shut the house down on Saturday.

Harold - That was indeed really Will in those pictures with Danielle out and about when they were supposed to be sequestered.

Jeni, could have been there is she wasn't stupid enough to get played. I really didn't think should would be, but there ya go. Will is a lier, but he told them all in his first show that he would lie to all of them to win, but trust him he wouldn't lie to them. And this show he told them all that he hated them and that he would fail in all the event's and make them all eat slop if he got a chance and they still kept him. He is good!

Erika should win this one. Why? Because she has been fighting the whole game, along with Diane. Boogie road the tale of Will.

Five years ago, tomorrow, I was 4 months pregnant with my first child. The events of that morning are burned into my head and heart, as I know they are for all Americans.
I was at a meeting, when a man's cell phone went off. I remember making a comment about how rude it was to have a cell phone on for a speaker. Moments later, he announced one of the Twin Towers had beed hit by an airplane. Being already irritated by his phone and my pregancy ( I did NOT glow) I dismissed it as an excuse for the disruption. Once the meeting was adjourned we heard reports of both Towers being hit. I was scared. I thought about the future of my unborn child. What kind of world would she have to grow up in. I called my husband when we heard about a plane headed for the White House. At the time we lived in Tallahassee. In my mind I saw the location as a threat with our governor being the brother of the President. Maybe it wasn't logical, but at that time the fear was real.
At my next meeting they brought a television in the room. We watched, tried to meet, but mostly just watched in horror as the Towers fell, one after the other. I remember asking, no-one in particular, "Did they have time to get everyone out?" A foolish question in hindsight. Maybe it was just wishful thinking.
I know this is not the forum for this, but I needed a cathartic release. Please forgive me, and think of our nation, as we go through this awful anniversary.

Just got back from California, missed the Thursday show, but caught up with it on CBS.com. Makes me sick! I'm sure this has all be rehashed, but, damn if Janelle hadn't taken her hand off there I believe it would be her and Erika in the house tonight!

Also, in the Sept 11 edition of Us Magazine on page 107 is a paragraph and photo of Les Deux...let's see, how did Sleazel 2 pronounce that Las Does!? LOL @ Sleazel 2!!!

Jackie, So Erica is smoking more. Did she bring in any cigaretts for herself or did she only get them from other hgs? And then Janelle took all hers with her? Seeing Erica hunting for those tiny pieces of cigarette is not a pretty sight. Even Boogie...who has proved himself unconcerned with many aspects of daily cleanliness...asked her to brush her teeth before he would kiss her. Thanks Jackie. Mary

If those two dreamers stay in there much longer, they'll cure world hunger and create world peace. Erica is probably responsible for the internet also. It's still fun to watch them whine about being bored. They deserve each other, let them be as misserable together as we have been watching them.

With the two of them stuck in there together I am sure Mike has decided he is definitely not with her anymore...while she blindly goes on thinking she is smart, gonna get the man and the money....her poor Mom and brother

Dear SSW: It was just about 5 years ago exactly that I received a phone call, telling me my daughter was in labor. As the nation watched in horror at the evils men can to do each other, we watched in wonder as a new life came into this world. When we had settled down and discovered what was happening outside the hospital, my thought was that for the rest of his life, my grandson's bithday would always be the anniversay of such tragedy. I ask also that we think and say a small prayer for the families of everyone touched by this anniversary. But also remember, that life does indeed go on.

SSW -- Your story brought tears to my eyes. Remembering that day is very hard for me. My grandfather died on Sept. 8 after battling cancer for several months. Unfortunately I couldn't take the time off of work that I needed, so I ended up in the car, driving about 60 miles to a training conference when I heard the news. I got to my destination and all of the classes were in the main atrium of the building watching tv.

Loosing my grandfather, seeing our nation go through that horrific ordeal, working 16 hour days...that was the worst week of my adult life.

Not only do I say a prayer for all of the people we lost and the family/friends they left behind, I say a prayer for my grandfather. I know he's looking down at me and sees my daughter (who was born after he died) and he's proud!!

AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL WHO HATE ME:

I understand that my comments have not been well received over the last few days. I've been accused of being sexist, ugly, a jerk, gay, an idot, a nerd, and crazy.

Let me say once and for all: Janelle is a good player. She kicked everyones butt in competitions. It doesn't matter to me if Woogie threw them or not..the point is Janelle won more than anyone else.

I don't like Janelle. Is it personal? Yes. I didn't like her when she was in her season. I didn't like her this season. It doesn't mean that I can't respect her. She a good game player. I'm not sexist. I liked Danelle better. I liked everyone better than Janelle. I didn't like anyone from Season 6 except James and he was border line...

Janelle is not someone who I would be like to know in person. Thats one of my PERSONAL criteria for choosing a favorite houseguest. Thats just my choice and not anyone elses.

Janelle, in MY opinion, played the game AT LEAST AS BAD as anyone else. Was she better than Alison? Yeah, Janelle lasted longer. I give Janelle ALL THE CREDIT for doing what it took to last.

However, it should have been Howie, James, Kaysar, and Janelle in the final 4. There is NO REASON, in my opinion why Janelle SHOULDN'T have WON BB7. Janelle should have one based on the numbers she started the game with!

Let me say it one more time Janelle-lovers: Janelle SHOULD have won. However, I DO FAULT Janelle for her MANY mistakes. Let me say that EVERYONE made mistakes including Boogie and Erika and Will. However, there aren't many wild fans for Boogie, Erika, and Will that post here, so I'm not going to go into their mistakes. THere are LOTS of Janelle fans here. THATS why I post so much Janelle stuff to COUNTER all the pro-janelle stuff.

Janelle mistakes cost her this game.

One more time: Janelle (based on her alliance and numbers) should have won this game! I admit it...Janelle should have one had she played 1) SMART 2)Stuck with her alliance and 3) LISTENed to James when he told her CT was playing them 4) convinced Kayser to take out CT instead of the floaters (Seems like I remember Janelle and the alliance questioning this at first..)

One more time: Janelle should have won.

I hope everyone sees I'm not crazy or an idot. I'm not sexist either. Orkmom is a good friend of mine.

Thanks for listening, however, I'll say again. If you disagree, noone is making you read my posts. Please skip over them if you don't value someone's opinion who is different from your own.

Thanks again

five years ago tomorrow, my oldest turned 11... tomorrow she is sweet sixteen... that was a bittersweet day as we tried our hardest to celebrate her special day at friendlys. we all had tears in our eyes as we sang happy birthday to her... bittersweet ...
its weird that when people used to talk about exactly where they were when jfk was shot i couldnt relate to any of them, being only 40 yrs old... but that ended 09/11/01 ... i think we can all recite word for word where were where and what we were doing.
on a lighter note.... i cant wait for bb7 to be over with, jani was my favorite and i wish her well in the future.

On September 11, I was teaching an AP Biology Class.

Ms. Parks (another teacher) walked down the hall and said that a plane his the WTC. I tried to get online to find out what was going on, but all the websites were clogged or down. I ended up watching the BBC online for the news. My classes gathered around the computers watched as the towers fell. We discussed it. It was a really teaching moment....sad moment....

Then the principal come over the intercom and told us not to discuss it. (Well, I did anyway...)

Her reasoning was that the parents should discuss with their kids. I see her point, but we continued watching.

There was talking of school getting out and yes, some schools in Mississippi did let out for the day.

Even in Mississippi it was a big deal. Its a day I'll never forget for sure and I hope I made it memorable for my students as well.

Penny - It's heavy security here with the President in the city and other folks. I take NJ Transit commuter trains to work and expect things to be a bit tense tomorrow. Unfortunately, 9/11 hit pretty close to home here for me and I lost a few friends, some neighbors and acquaintances, as well as a cousin. It's changed the best city in the world (in my opinion) and life around here forever. But we go on.

AnybodybutJanelle I think if you had ever been in love and known how it can affect your decision making process you would probably understand what happened to Janelle. I would rather be like Janelle and have a heart that is open to love, than be like so many others from BB who seem to be completely devoid of human emotion. I will always root for the one with the tender heart, that may be considered stupid and weak in your book, but in my opinion it is the best way to be.

penny, where exactly is the president in jersey? i am in jersey too and take nj transit to work ... i work in philly... should i expect delays?

Jackie -- I knew you were from NY, but I guess I didn't make the connection until I just read your post. I'm so sorry for your loss. You, your family, and your friends families will be in my prayers. God bless you!

pisgahscience said...

I think being in "love" maybe where Janelle went wrong.

I don't think Janelle has a tender heart at all.

I hope I am never in love so much it blinds me to the world around me so much that I ignore (and vote out) my friends, betray my alliances, and get myself voted out. I hope I am never in so much love that the other person over-rides my own common sense.

I think that kind of love is very unhealthy and I hope NOBODY WANTS to be like that including Janelle.

Anyway...its ashamed that Will used Janelle emotions and Boogies used Erika's. I wish both Erika and Janelle played smarter. I'd rather see Danielle and Erika in the final 2 rather than Boogie and Erika

Jackie S. said...

Pink - He's in NYC, not NJ. The Philly direction should be fine. It could, however, affect my commute with much heavier security than normal. I'm avoiding the city itself tomorrow.

Another NJ Transit commuter, huh? Fun, fun, fun!

"Attention, NJ Transit passengers... please be alert to your surroundins..."

Maybe next year the winner of final HOH will give some consideration to who they would want to be locked in a house with for five days! If Mike had thought about that he might have chosen Janelle...altho I'm sure he knew he's never beat Janie with the jury since no one likes him except Will...

Jackie, I remember your comments on and around 9/11, I think we were on an AOL board together. BB was going on and everyone watched TV constantly to see the continual news broadcasts, but we needed to step away from the horror and used BB for it. Those hgs didn't know and somehow, watching people who didn't know the world had changed helped. Or hurt, I was never sure which.

I was running errands that day, driving around town and remember seeing the faces of the other drivers. None of us were paying attention to anything except our car radios. Our faces showed what we were hearing and we all seemed to be driving on automatic pilot. We were miles away, living in Mid America, but our fear was the same as those who lived along the Eastern Seaboard. People baked food and took it to our airport to give to the people whose planes were grounded. Everyone knew someone who was flying that day or in NYC or DC. We talked of how small the world was and that we were all connected.

And all the while, BB hgs kept up their mean backstabbing conversations. We knew that someone (Monica?) had a cousin and we all discussed, probably with you Jackie, whether we thought the hgs should be told.

ABJ...i respect your recent post, as I did with all of your other posts...how exciting would it be if we all liked the same hg...I saw nothing wrong with your posts initially. In a show like this, it can be anyones game depending on who you align yourself with from the beginning. I was very surprised that Janelle made it as far as she did, and how she kinda turned her back on her alliance, but i was also surprised that Dani made it past her first week of stirring things up in the house. Big mistake that all houseguests are guilty of is not voting out Mike and Will..it was ridiculous. I think i kept watching BB just to see if anyone would wise up and put them on the block...no..instead they took out people who were of no harm initially (floaters), which i suspect could have changed down the line. And honestly, even though Will had previously won, if he could have pulled it off again, I would vote for him to win it all, cause hats off to him. I am sure there is so much more, with or without live feeds, that we will never know..I am going to guess that with CBS producers and staff around the house, influences can be made to keep ratings or interests. However, I am not pleased with the final two at all. While Will was a manipulator, he didn't need to ride coat tails..he was smart enough to do it on his own. I think that is what bugs me about Mike..he needed Will. As for Erika..she plain annoys me...if anyone was a floater, it was her. Mind you, this is all my opinion, so flame me if anyone must.

As for 9/11, I am a native NY'er myself. My grandfather took me to the twin towers when I was about 10 years old. My mom moved my brother and I to Colorado when I was 16. The twin towers, along with the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State building are like monuments to me. I still cannot fathom the twin towers not being there, even tho I know good and well that they are no longer. That day, wow..so many emotions were going on. I was taking my then three month old son to the hopsital to have xray's done of his heart because a murmur was detected. I was living in Moab, UT at the time and just turned the radio on for the drive in town, something I rarely did, as the stations are lame there. When i heard the news on the radio..i didn't believe it, i really thought it was a joke, well if something like that could be a joke. All the hospital staff were watching the tv in the waiting room..and even watching the day unfold seemed so surreal. Though so far away, the whole country was in a state of panic it seemed. My husband and I had both been social workers and he called me to not only tell me the news, but to tell me that they are preparing emergency kits for people just in case. Things like water, food, etc. It was a day forever etched in my mind. I just pray for everyone who has been affected by 9/11, regardless of whether a loved one was lost or not. We can all use a good prayer now and then, even for those who believe it is useless.

Peace,

Melissa

P.S. Jackie, you really did a great job on this site. I will continue to return during TAR, and may have to watch Survivor this time too. You kept my interest that is for sure. Also, thanks to everyone who posted..for the most part eveyone was very decent. Hope to see you again, it was great to hear so many perspectives.

I too am from New York. I have lived in Connecticut for the past ten years.

On 9/11, my husband and I were taking our oldest child to her first day of preschool. One of the parents came in and told us what had happened. We were in a panic. My husband's brother is a New York City firefighter and my brother worked at the World Trade Center. My mother called me in a panic because she hadn't heard from my brother. We waited hours to hear from either of them. Alas we were among the lucky ones. My brother was late for work that morning and was at Starbuck's getting coffee when the first plane hit. My husband's brother had just gotten home from his shift. Our families were very lucky. I lost high school friends and childhood friends that day. Our families lost countless friends and co-workers.

Thank you for this tribute and allowing us to vent, Jackie. Tomorrow I will pray for all of those lost souls and the people who loved them and I will thank God he spared my brother and brother-in-law - God Bless America!
Cyndi

Can we have a separate blog for 9/11? Some of us come online to escape the stress of our lives. 9/11 is very important and affected us all, but sometimes we need an escape. This is mine, so if we could separate 9/11 from here, I know it would make me feel better!. I want us to express ourselves about it, but I also want us to have a place to de-stress, as well

Jackie, what is your guess as to why therem are flames on the feeds tonight.

Anonymous said...

The flames are more interesting than Booger and Whorerica, but still...anyone have a guess as to what is going on?

Anonymous said...

BB gave the two a movie. I wonder if it is The War of the Roses or Mr and Mrs Smith? Guess not, maybe Dumb and Dumber? Whatever they get to watch, that must be the reason for the flames. Sue

I still don't know what movie they are watching: Stand and Deliver? Two for the Road? Major Payne? Sue again

I don't even know why I keep reading. You do a great job, don't get me wrong. But I hate them both so much...this is the worst season of BB EVER. I hope CBS throws some twist at the end, and gives it all to Janelle. Otherwise, they're going to have a bunch of REALLY mad people. I'm disgusted.

To AnybodybutJanelle:
I've been offline for a couple of days so I haven't seen your last couple of postings. Nevertheless, if they're anything like your previous postings, they were probably very entertaining. Also, I'm sure no one hates you because of your opinions and, if they think they do, they need a new outlet because they're taking things wayyyyyy too serious. Also, I am a big fan and supporter of Janelle. I think she could have easily won this competition if she had only dumped CT in the very beginning - didn't James say that needed to be done in the beginning?

..and

hi Harold!

JACKIE,

Is it true boogie was arrested once, just read about it on http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/bigbrotheragain.html I hear he changed his last name and thats the name he uses now. Do you think CBS can use this against him? Hope CBS can use this to disqualify him and put jannie back up for she was final 3.

I dont want that smart cocky Boggie to win and sure glad Will want. I just really feel embarssed for Janiell and Erika when they see how bad they were used by those 2 igorants I really wanted Danille to be in the final 2 and should have if Erika hadnt been in heat for boggie. James was right they should have got rid of "CT" when they had a chance. Glad its almost over.
