Mean Man Trump on Letterman Tonight

Yes, Donald Trump is going to be on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight. The Apprentice is a show I watch and write about, but Trump's latest feud with Rosie O'Donnell has really turned me off. It's one thing to mimic someone, but another to call a person fat, disgusting, a slob and more.

Bad Donald.

I found a cute little Flash Rosie/Trump fight game online, but I can't get it to embed properly here. You can play it yourself at the IGN website. I don't know. When I'm Trump, Rosie wins. When I'm Rosie, Trump wins. I guess I was meant to be neither, huh?

That could, of course, be a very good thing.

(Although I wouldn't mind my bank account being a bit like either!)

I think the media's role in the whole Rosie/Donald situation has been deplorable. Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, The Insider etc. They constantly make statements like "The ongoing war of words" and "Rosie fires back", and "The feud continues". What feud? What war of words? Rosie parodied Trump and ridiculed him for holding himself up as a "moral authority" on The View on Dec 20, 2006. At which point can-dish-it-out-but-can't-take-it-Trump backed about six dumps trucks of lies, delusions, and vulgar insults, and dumped them, via a media bleizkreig, on Rosie O'Donnell. Rosie has not participated in this schoolyard postering. She has not gone on the Larry King Show, LA Today, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, TMZ, Letterman, or any of the many, many, media outlets Trump has used to spread his toxin. Her last direct statement regarding Trump was Dec 20th, 2006. Trump's last statement regarding Rosie was, let's see...since it's pretty much 24/7 I guess the last one was pretty much as we speak. There is no war. There is shock and awe media coverage of Donald, Ivanka, and all the other Trumps that can be rounded up to spew adjectives like bully and loser that seem to apply only to themselves yet they assign them to Rosie as if, just by virtue of them being said, loudly and often, they will somehow be true. Meanwhile Entertainment Tonight, frustrated that they can't get Rosie to participate, instead pull quotes out of context from her blog where she answers questions from people writing to her and pronounce them "Rosie goes another round with Donald". The media pounds this "Feud" over our heads every day on almost every news and semi news channel. And they give gobs and gobs and gobs of airtime to Trump. While Rosie, who did what she gets paid to do; give her views, did exactly that on Dec 20, 2006. And has since been on vacation with her family in Miami. A vacation which had been written into her contract day one by the way. So why, when Trump, who's figuratively jumped on a thousand couches, (and Tom got slammed for jumping on only one) and Rosie hasn't jumped on any is Rosie being portrayed as not just as bad as Trump but in fact worst. Most online comments I've seen portray them both as out of conrol in this "ongoing feud" but see Trump as the poor, unsuspecting victim of the awful, scary Rosie. What kind of freakish parallel universe have I stepped into? A parallel universe where Freedom of Speech seems to apply only to Trump and not to O'Donnell.

I agree 100% with Lili. I cannot believe the exaggerated acounts Trump is spewing every chance he gets. I already knew the man's ego was outrageous, but I never realized how downright mean he is. I absolutely refuse to watch the apprentice at all.

Somebody(PLEASE) needs to tell Trump to sit down and shut up!!!It must really be slow news days around the world when this is all the tabloid and news outlets can go on and on and on and on.......about. I am so sick of seeing his face on every station you turn to. IF I hadn't already written his pathetic show off my viewing list, this sure would have torn it for me. So I now treat him as I do Hilton and Madonna,I shut them down, don't read ANY of the hype about them and turn the station whenever they come on. The problem is with all the other morons out there who eat this up and so,we are fed a steady diet of them. Are we really this brainless, that THIS and THEY are what we call "entertainment"?

Please, people with good taste, boycott this maniac's show and maybe he'll go back to his boardroom and leave us alone......LOL! OOPS....is Trump coming after me to call me "fat" and threaten to sue me.....LOL!!!!!!!!!

Oh come on, guys! Give me a break. Rosie has a bully pulpit with her daily appearance on The View. Donald does not have a regular show on which to be smug about his position. Donald is the one that is at a media disadvantage, not Rosie, and he would be out promoting his upcoming Apprentice series even if Rosie had not said what she said. I have not seen him bring up the "R" word on any of the shows he has appeared on - the show's host does that. Donald just responds. Frankly, if you don't like the nasty back and forth between these two, hit the mute button, the fast forward button or the off button. And write the shows on which both of them have appeared to express your displeasure.

I am back!

Something makes you wonder about this Rosie/The Donald crap? Apprentice is starting and now this garbage! The media sucks us in and we react. I like the "Apprentice" and will watch regardless, but it just seems strange that this started before the debut! Rosie has never had a place in my life, ever....whatever she is trying to do will not affect me one way or the other. She is a blob in my life and she can spout whatever she wants. Never watched her talk show and when she was on Nip/Tuck it was like WHY???? I have never considered her a worthy person and now she is on the View, another reason not to watch it. I guess you can say I can not stand her!!!! So let her speak out...I only hear a buzzing in my ears and I could care less what she tries to say. To Rosie...go take care of your children and let us alone...you are so meaningless and a want-a-be! Just shut-up and go away!!!! PS Your voice is so grating, I just do not want to hear it!

Did I read that correctly; Donald Trump has a media disadvantage???? Wow, I'm going to go right now and look the word "disadvantge" up in my dictionary as I obviously have been using it incorrectly. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Susan, PLEASE, no emcee forces the Donald to spew the mean hateful words that repeatedly come out of that garbagemouth. And Delee, you refuse to watch the View, but watching Apprentice is okay. Whoosh!!!!!! Is that the sound of theBig D sucking you in?

Donald fired Carolyn and gave the job to his daughter...talk about nepotism...and Don is scheduled to participate too. Three Trumps is three to many. Next we will have Melanie of the half closed eyes (at al times) on the show. He is an ecomaniac who indeed has filed for bankruptcy so I doubt he can really due Rosie for her comments...and I doubt any court would entertain a suit about his "comb over" which has to be the worst in history. He should get over himself. As for Melania...one of these days she'll find herself "fired" too just like Ivana and Marla.
