According to The Futon Critic, Big Brother 8 will return to the same scheduled evenings as last season -- the season premiere will be Thursday, July 5 at 8 PM ET/PT. On Sunday evenings, the show will air at 8 PM ET/PT while the Tuesday night show will start at 9 PM ET/PT, an hour later than last year.
Pirate Master will follow BB8 on the premiere night, then settle into the 10 PM ET/PT slot on Tuesday evenings. It seems that it's been cast adrift, mateys.
There's still no casting news, nor news on the live feeds.

I was so hoping I would like Pirate Masters, since it is similar to Survivor and I LOVE Survivor. I just can't seem to get into it...
But at least I have BB.... OMG! I can't wait!! lol!
I feel the same about PM. I tried, but I'm giving up already. Just hoped it would be more Survivor-esce. It definitely is not.

I'm looking forward to another BB season with you. I'm very excited for it to start. The lazy crazy hazy days of summer are almost upon us, and with it comes another crew of love-to-hate houseguests.
I agree with the others who posted about Pirate Masters. It didn't hold my interest, and I'm easy.

I think tonight will be Food Network Next Food Star 9-10....tape Celebrity Fit Club and Sopranos. 10-11 Simple Life and Sunset Tan (that's how bad it is) and same time frame Villian Cakes on Food TV. Sad sad sad! 8p anyone's guess!!! Big Love starts on HBO tomorrow night and Hell's Kitchen what else I do not know. Bring on BB now!!!!

Big Brother After Dark!
Our friends over at BuddyTV report that the rumored big changes that were set to happen during Big Brother 8 will not be the format itself (although do expect new things to happen during the show). The changes will take the shape of three hours of uncensored feed live from the house!
Sadly for us BB addicts, this nightly feature will not be broadcast on CBS but on sister cable network ShoToo.
The network confirmed that Big Brother would be back three nights a week on CBS: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. As for Big Brother: After Dark, the name of the nightly uncensored show, it will air every night from 9 p.m. EST to midnight.
According to executive producer Allison Grodner, these three hours should be entertaining as "That's primetime for the Big Brother house. It's when our houseguests are most wide awake and having fun, talking about strategy and playing the game. People are going to see quite a bit."
Big Brother 8 will have its premiere on Thursday, July 5.
Carrie - I don't have Showtime (or ShoToo), but all they're going to be doing is airing the feeds I'll already be seeing, so I'm sure to cover their content in my reports... and possibly more as I won't be limited to one camera feed as is the show.
