'Big Brother 8' - Late Night Into Thursday Live Feeds

I took this screen cap yesterday as the houseguests played with the HOH camera. Eric was noticeably absent. I wrote an article about Amber's anti-Semitic remarks hitting the newswires -- that should be up on TV Squad later this morning.

Although Eric talked to most of his ex-group yesterday and he took it as promising, I don't think it will count as a done deal until it's done.

Jameka will vote to evict Kail because she promised him and won't go back on her word. Amber will vote for Kail to leave because she swore she would on her daughter's life.

Jessica told him she would vote to keep him, but has also told Dick's group otherwise. But then she tried to convince Amber that Eric is indeed on their side and it would be a smart move to keep him.

Dustin told him he'd vote to keep him, but told Dick's group and Kail otherwise. He also made a comment to Kail that if there's an odd unaccounted vote to keep Eric, they'll know it's Dick. It's possible he's setting the scene for an Eric stay and blame it on Dick, but it's hard to tell.

Jen says she's with Dick, but she's attempted to talk with Eric. I personally think she might be a wild card. She's been voting the house vote each week, but this week it's a house divided vote. In another note, she's really in a lot of pain with her earaches.

Jen and Kail discussed how unhappy with Amber they are -- her moods and actions are getting to them.

Dustin thinks the Dick and Daniele really, really need to go on the block next week. He and Jessica jumped up and down in glee celebrating the fact that they have enough votes to keep Eric this week. He's so sure a Donato will go next week (Dick) that he feels it's worth breaking his promise to them.

So, I dunno. Now it looks like it's swung back around to Eric staying, but I wouldn't bet any big bucks on it. I'll update again before tonight's live show.

Hi Jackie, At this point the only criteria any of the hgs (Daniele included) should have is who will get Dick voted out. I'm not even saying the next vote out, just who will have the strength and guts to do it at some time? Whoever puts him up will be the target of his rage for the days leading up to the vote. If Eric survives this week, I think he will build a path for Dick to take out the door. Long, awkward sentence. I guess I am not as awake as I thought. Sue

LOL I agree Jackie. I'll check article out over at TV Squad. I feel for Jen, I've had a severe ear pain and swelling for about 3 weeks, I hate the dizzy that tend to come with ear problems, And then Amber must go, my new banner shall read.

Sue I wondered about that also, unless AP advices Eric to do otherwise, I'd like to see Eric buddy up to Dick. I better drink coffee, need to wake up.

I hope they keep Eric. I can't wait to see Dick's reaction. I'd love to see Dick up on the block, but the house will be hell the entire time. These poor hoseguests...and to think I really liked Dick in the beginning!

It isn't that I like Eric anymore than Kail. Or anyone else for that matter, but...
It would definately make this season worth watching if they managed to pull a fast on D & D. I would cheer in my living room.

Both fingers crossed! I would love to see Eric stay and get the support of the house, at least so he can go on to get into sequester.... and see Dick go next week. It would make good TV to see either Dick or Daniele leave and then to see how the remainder adapts in the house solo.

Rumors from day 1 say one of the 3 adversarial duos were not really so, and there could be some truth to it being the Donatos. Regardless, they've had their time to mend things -- are talking, hugging and saying mutual I love you's -- so Dick got that accomplished, plus he set himself up to finally be famous for something... not that it's something to be all that proud of IMHO. I'd love to see him either zip it up and play smart or get out. He'll be in sequester for the rest of the show anyway.

Anonymous said...

Dick needs to go into sequester next week. I think he would be the first in the sequester house, right? That way, he would have 1 week by himself to rant and rave. Oh the poor BB staff that would have to listen to his monologues!
Jackie, I don't know how you have been able to keep up with all of the flip flopping. Thank you.

Jackie, Dustin needs to go. He is a trouble maker and a back staber. At least Dick tells everything in the open.

If Dustin pulls off an odd vote and plays it up as Dick, then wtg Dustin! That would be awesome. I wish Jen would get her chance to talk to Eric and give him her vote too on the promise that Dick is gone next! I'd like to see how they all work in the house w/o a raging dicator. ~SharonS

Oh my goodness. I have been gone for a week and this is the first day I have had access to a computer to check out Jackie's blog. Wow things sure have changed. I can't believe I have missed all the drama. Without knowing everything that has been going on I would prefer that Eric stay. Kail seems like a non entity at this point and I think the drama level will remain high while Eric is still in the house with the almighty Dick. I might not be able to check things out again until next week. I am glad I have you Jackie to update me whenever I get home.

I hope Eric pulls this off. I'm afraid some of the HGs may change their minds several more times before the actual vote.

Amber is off base. It looks like she told Kail, Jen and Eric - oh yes, and all of America - that she cheated on her boyfriend. I haven't seen the feeds but I can't find where anyone actually heard that Eric told all the rest.

We will know that Dustin is truly a fool if he alligns with Dick this week - and then gets nominated next when D maniuplates the next HOH.

Anonymous said...

Well, it at least sounds like there is hope for Eric to stay. I wouldn't say that he is my favorit but I think the game will be a better game if he stays. I am looking forward to the show tonight as this is the first time there is some suspense. If Eric stays and then wins HOH and it was a double eviction week it would be one of the best shows ever.

If these houseguests have any sense, they'll get rid of Eric.
That would make me really happy!

Has Amber ever watched BB before? Does she not KNOW that she's being watched 24/7??? How stupid is she? I didn't think anyone really tho't that way: to say "everyone in N.Y." and "all Jewish people", etc. Makes you realize how much ignorance is still out there.

She's white trash, IMO. Get her gone! Right after Eric..the weasel.

Why is everyone so afraid of Dick...lol...because he yells and throws things? Do what Jen does and just let him go on and on and smile back and say okay Dick...seriously....he can't physically harm them so What?! Get him out if you want him out....if they let him mind $%&@ them and they leave him in the house because they are intimidated then they deserve to lose and he had the stronger game no matter how ugly and abusive it may be. IMO

BTW - Offically, I don't want to see either of the Donatos win personally I vote for Zack or Jessica...maybe Jen and that's a big maybe she would be third in line...the rest of the HG irritate me and I want them to all go aways some sooner than others of course.

eja... I agree so much I can't wait for Dick to have a meltdown. That would be awesome! Especially since he feels like he is safe- that is the best kind of BB action I have been waiting for- I like the BB action that is normal, backstabbing and lying- but these outbursts and hysterical crying must GO!!!
Can't wait to see Amber kicked out- hope it's sooner than later!

By the way - everyone says "at least ____ is honest" OMG when we all go crazy it is when they are being sneaky-- that is fun-- honesty and screaming in an unhealthy way-- not fun.. i can't wait seriously-- I can't wait and I hope they don't flip back tonight and keep Kail Yucky poo!

Sequester is where the voted off houseguests go to be a part of the jury-- like Survivor. They go to a big house and swim and play- and I hear they maybe going to a hotel this year-- that is sequester

I read on another site that Eric said he was not going to use his information against Amber. That he just told Dick that he was.
Who knows, but does anyone know if he has told Amber he was not planning on using it?
Dick be gone!!!

Wow, this is my first time reading a Big Brother blog, and I've really enjoyed all of your comments. But would someone please tell me what Eric has on Amber????

Sally said...

It's only because of that airplane banner that Eric is in the position he's in, and I really don't think that outside "fans" should be allowed to influence the outcome of the game like that. Therefore, I hope Eric stays this week. (I also think the producers should have foreseen the possibity of a banner appearing during an endurance competition. They could have had the competition after dark, or had blindfolds ready to put on the remaining contestants during the flyover.)

I'm surprised that Kail's homophobic remarks haven't hit the internet, like Amber's antisemitic statments did. Or maybe they're out there and I just haven't seen them.

PlaidChick said...

Anon @ 12:39-- Amber confided in Eric (and America) that she lied to her bofriend about having an abortion(s) so he would stick around. Eric then turned and told that to Dick, and the began the spun web of "blackmail." Dick told Amber Eric was planning on using it against her, when in truth Dick was planning on using it against her at some point-- who knows if he ever would. Amber got wind of this and went off on Eric yesterday.

Ohh boy what a big ole pile of waffles.

Usually at this point on Thursday I would say the hamsters will stick to their plan and get Eric out, but I have no idea with these fools.

While Eric is getting on my nerves and I don't like the AP concept, it would make better feed watching and TV to keep him. The hamsters think it would be good to keep him because it's a vote against D&D-- wrong on that one!!

I want the Dick and the Weasal to stick around-- they're fun to watch, even though most of you all don't like the screaming.

PlaidChick said...

Anon@ 12:21-- Eric told Dick he had something on Amber that "could ruin her." So why shouldn't Eric be gone with that statement?

When noone was around the information was for Dick to use, when everyone was around the information was for Eric to use. Dick played the game well in that aspect.

Just because they both said in different words that they might use that information against her and blackmail her, doesn't mean they would of-- we'll never know because it didn't happen that way.

Anon 12:39 - Did you actually see or read that Eric TOLD that to Dick... abotu abortions and the boyfriend? That would make a big difference rather than if he said he had info on her. I've been looking to clear this up for a week and find out if anyone actually SAW it on the feeds or Sho Too because I have not yet found anyone who has. PLEASE let me know if you saw hims tell DIck the details with your own eyes. Thanks!

PS: Jackie answered my (and Walter's) question this way on the last post: "the only one I saw him mention it to in any sort of detail was Jessica. With a few others, he mentioned he had "something on her" but never specified. I know I miss some things on the feeds, but I don't think he detailed anything about it to anyone else. I'm not sure how it got around."

Hi Everyone If I remember correctly didn't Big Brtoher in Europe remove a player for making Racial remarks. This has caused quite a firestorm if people lose there jobs for making racial remarks CBS need's to bounce Amber from the show. Remember this was no joke she meant what she said. People make jokes about race and get in hot water and then the debate start's if it was really a joke or how this how this person really feel's. Dick is so abusive he should be let go to he is no more stable then Amber. Just watch what happen's when Kail goes tonight and he doesn't win HOH I predict a complete meltdown.

Anonymous said...

I hope Zach gets HOH. I want to watch all of them suck up to him.

He's really kind of sad being that he doesn't have any freinds in the house and the only reason, anyone is talking to him now is because they need his vote to get out Eric or to keep him. Otherwise, everyone ignores him.

As for Jessica, I don't think the girl is as stupid as everyone in the house thinks she is, mainly Eric. She seems to be able to think for herself when she needs to and she's starting to see through Eric.

Dustin, OMG, if he doesn't vote out Eric tonight, he's going to ruin himself with everyone esp. D+D and Amber. He sat on the couch and told everyone that they should let him be the one who voted out Eric. Now if Kail stays, everyone is going to know it was him. It's a bad move strategically and unlike Will who could do it and everyone would still love him, Dustin would never be able to pull it off. I hope he votes out Eric. I don't like the whole AP thing.

KEEP ERIC!!!! Get rid of Kail, D and D. Then it will get really interesting. Jackie, thanks for the updates.

Deanna said...

If Eric stays this week (and I'm crossing my fingers that he'll be a goner), then I'm sure the HOH comp is going to be tailor made for him so that BB/CBS can ensure that their retarded AP idea can continue.

I'm sick of Dustin and his sneaky ways, Amber is a bigot, Jameka pulls out the "religious card" when needed & it disappears just as quickly, & Jessica is an annoying twit. So, I find myself full on rooting for Dick(still & always), Daniele, Zach, & Jen.

Like I said yesterday, this whole house changes by the minute, so I can't get excited by any news I read here, only dizzy! I'm just hoping I'm cheering real loud tonight when Eric has to go home.

LYSS said...

Just one question..what do you think the odds are that eric will still be in the game after the vote???

Deanna said...

As an after thought, if Eric stays, it will get real interesting to see which way America makes him vote and how his group will see things. Hmmmmmmmmm!

Can't stand Eric, but this whole thing getting thrown in Dustin, Amber, Jameka & Jessica's face is also sounding fun for me. I'm only hoping Dick is there to scream it at them! :)

I'm going to borrow from "anybodybutjanelle/hillary" and say I hope anybodybutacurrenthouseguest wins. What a bunch of of psycho waffling indiots! In my fantasy world, BB will have another POV competition in which Jen can forfeit her remaining $250K of prize money to win POV. She will later win the game. The other HGs will realize they spent 3 months wasting their summer, only to watch an air-headed nanny walk away with $0 (and be pleased with herself for doing so).

I am curious. Is tonight's vote a game changing one? Does it come down to if Kail stays, D & D rule the house and if Eric stays, D & D are weakened? Or will the game stay pretty much the same no matter who goes tonight? Sue

Anonymous said...

I must be in the wrong place.

I guess I don't understand why everyone hates Dick and Dani.

Ya, Dick is loud and in your face...but Eric and Dustin say things that are just down right nasty....behind the back of course.

I hope Eric leaves, he had an advantage with AP, and played it all wrong. His fault.

But if he stays, I hope Dick wins HOH, or Zach and puts anyone two of the LNC 5 on the block.

They would all deserve it.

Only one from their group that seems to have a shot of HOH is Dustin.
Erik will throw it.
Jam can't play.
Amber...yeah right.
Jessica...hmmmmmm

Get em Dick!

Anonymous said...

I don't think Eric is going to throw any more HOH comps. That banner plane and everything that's happened since then has changed his game. I predict that he's gonna fight for HOH harder than he's done anything up to this point in his life. If he wins, he'll put up D & D.

Sheree said...

Will the house be any different either way if Kail or Eric leaves? I don think so...with this Big Brother House O' Waffles...the only thing for certain will be that the Donatos will still be alligned...as for everyone else or for whom will be in the Donotos favor this week we won't know until the HOH.

I know only one thing I don't think Dick is doing a spectatular job at anything other than throwing a fit and puffing out his chest and beating on it....and Amber I can't even look at her....eric bothers me too shifty....Dustin...who cares....jameka....whatever....Danielle, well I would have liked her if she didn't have her daddy there to play the game for her....she's a bit whiny too.....Kail....I forget she's still in the game....didn't she leave week one?? lol....that leaves Jen.....eh I don't care either way, she definately has strong skills...but she's not likeable....So I'm left with Zack & Jessica....and even then I don't care too much it's like choosing the worst of two evils (no pun intended)....

And nobody can compare or ever will compare with Dr. Will...just can't be done. IMO

Sheree said...

If they put up the Donotos for eviction they will have to put them up together...to ensure one will go home....can't try to back door with just one up there because if they win POV then they are off the block..if the plan is to backdoor one of them then they will have to put up two pawns.

anon 3:24(sue)--What gameplan??? I don't think anybody in that house has a plan for more than 5 minutes!!!!

It's Thursday, the show is live tonight so here is what is probably happening in the house:

Jess--just waking up and plucking her eyebrows
Dustin--wearing his gray t-shirt and looking for his cape
Jameka--reading the Bible
Dick--throwing something(probably at someone)
Zach--sitting by himself, eating a plate of waffles
Eric--talking, talking, and talking
Jen--looking in the mirror and hoping Julie doesn't ask her any questions.
Daniele--talking to her dad
about how well "her" gameplan worked.
and.....drum roll please...
Amber cried!!!

Maybe the game will really get started after tonight's eviction.

I would be shocked if Eric didn't throw HOH.

If I understand it correctly, Eric would have to put up who America wants on the block! Not who Eric wants.

Is he willing to risk having to put up Amber (you know should would be at least one of them America would vote for) or one of his other LNC crew?

I highly doubt it

How would he explain that one??

Oh, I know he would CRY!

Anonymous said...

Eric doesn't have to complete each task America gives him. He just doesn't get the money if he doesn't. I think he would just decide to fail the task if America wanted him to put up someone he doesn't want to.

Anonymous said...

I don't agree that Eric sucks as AP. I think being AP has sucked for him. Would he have mustarded Jen's shirt if not told to, no. Would he have gone against his alliance twice and voted for Kail to leave, no. Would he be considered a liar right now if not for that banner plane, no. I think BB owes Eric big time if he's voted out tonight.

A recent anon poster stated that Eric had a huge advantage being America's Player. Wow--I couldn't disagree more. He was dealt a terrible hand and has been a genius at working the group and dealing with it. Had he NOT been AP, he'd be way, way ahead in the game. He can think on his feet as well or better than Dr. Will (did).

Easily one of the best players ever in BB history!

Anonymous said...

Has anybody thought about what if ED wins the HOH for this week??? That will be another week that may just shake things up. IF he was smart,it wouldn't be Kail and Jen on the block but two of the "herd" and one of their others if either win POV. D&D had better start thinning that "herd" or they WILL be gone.Or it would be good if Zach won HOH!!

I've missed you guys,we've had terrible storms here and my DSL went out and finally my son rigged the dial up so I could get back on. I was having withdrawal,I can tell you....LOL!!!!

Anonymous said...

Anonymous 3:24 How does Eric have an advantage from AP?? Maybe before America actually voted you could have made the argument that it could give him some insight into what America thinks, however as it has played out it has 100% compromised him in this game and will cause him to be evicted. AP is probably the WORST BB move ever - the producers did not think this one out at all...

Anonymous said...

Eric has never had the option of deciding if he wanted to complete the task when it came to voting.

People voted who they wanted out, and that was how Eric's vote was cast. He didn't have a choice.

Why would it be different with HOH???

Unless BB decided to go and change the rules for Eric.

The last 2 votes, Eric didn't complete the task because the rest of the house didn't vote the way Eric HAD to vote.

Eric's advantage was that he is the only one in the house that has an idea of who is liked/disliked by the viewers.

Which, if he were smart would have given him some insight into what is going on in the game, that the other houseguests may not be aware of.

Eric made a mistake by pushing for backdooring Nick, because he wanted him out, knowing his vote was most likely going to have to be to evict Kail.

At one time I felt bad for Eric, because of the AP thing, but ya know, he has been such a poor sport about being on the block, he can go.

Anonymous said...

I was reading the comments...good ones guys... and they made me think of Eric being HOH. I don't see how he can be allowed to be. Are there any rules for AP? I am thinking of evicted hgs suing BB after the season is over (using the sour grapes defense) because of a BB insider being HOH. Does anyone know if he can be HOH? (you know, if he isn't evicted and if he won a comp) Sue

There's so much maneuvering being administered in the BB house, an earthquake was felt. Dustin swore on his family's life he'd vote to Evict Eric, I assume Dustin is certainly aware, despite who he votes to evict, he'll be targeted for famous backdoor seat, Dustin admitted in a round about way; " promises are meant to be broken on a weekly basis, I believe in order to regroup, they'll have to illiterate on how NOT why -- HG's have fallen into manipulation pattern in which their currently in, plain and simple their all controlled by their very own repetitiveness behaviors, limiting them from being able to focus clearly, therefore once and for all they have to go back to original eviction planned where it all begin 3 weeks ago with Kail being primary target, If not, then HG's should continue wearing their bunny suits, because soon they'll begin resembling energizer bunny, and then.. its back to Kail and Jen on the block with yet another backdoor plan, same accusations in regards to voting etc, with the exception of a new target. We may finally view a Kail eviction. If Eric isn't evicted, becomes HOH, As AP he'd have to nominate accordingly, causing quite a stir with an Amber nomination that's for sure!

That's true although I'm not certain if it applies to a particular HG, nominations, evictions, each time Eric entered D'R to cast his vote, Julie stated; Eric has to appear as though he's casting his vote but as AP his vote has already been decided by viewers, instead Julie has asked him about the weather, etc. Heck imagine Zach as HOH, he'll finally have lots of conversations. I believe he'd nominate Jameka/Amber. Go Zach! Hahahaa

I was in favor of Eric being America's Choice and actually felt sorry for him being placed in a position to vote or do things against his own will. HOWEVER, my opinion of Eric has done a complete turnaround since his conversation with Jessica in the WorkOut room the other night.
I don't like Amber but he had NO right to repeat her personal problems to Jessica to "earn her trust"?

Dick on the other hand is abrasive but most of the time 'IT IS WHAT IT IS'. There is not a lot of guessing where he is concerned. Can't say that about Dustin, Amber and a few others.

In regards to Jameka, my initial opinion of her was positive but it seems that she uses her religious beliefs when it suits the situation. Not a good thing!!

I read a comment in Jokers Updates about HG being counseled by DR in regards to their Voting. Can anyone enlighten me about that one?

PlaidChick said...

I did read Eric has no say in the chosing of who we choose to evict, so if we say Kail then his vote is for Kail, not what he wants. The envelope can say Kail, and he can't turn around and say no, I choose to evict (insert name)

I would have to say same goes for HoH, thus why he keeps throwing them.

If Eric gets HOH (although I sincerely hope he's gone tonight), and the producers ask America to choose who he nominates for eviction, he would have to comply. He can't just arbitrarily nominate someone else.

What a difference a day makes. ;)
I was all prepared making graphics for Eric to leave and now I read this possible turnabout. LOL
Just goes to show you how unpredictable these psychos are. Has everyone including the house guests forgotten that everyone lies in the BB house? It's all good unless the lies of one person is used as an excuse to brutally berate them for betraying their alliance. It's just a game, right? I strongly dislike that excuse for not keeping one's word. It brings to mind the old adage, "Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear". I never thought I'd see the day when ED and Jen were working together.

Guess we'll just have to wait until tonight's show to know who's evicted for sure. You know I'll be peaking in since I can't handle waiting here in CA.

Kudos to Jackie for keeping us updated with the latest. I'm surprised her head's not spinning with all the flip-flopping.

Hey Robin, don't forget about me! I would love to see Eric in the final two!

I'm wondering, did Amber tell Eric not to say anything to anyone else? Or, did she have the conversation with him and then they walked their separate ways assuming that he would not say anything? The fact that it's out is totally her (Amber) fault. Why did she tell Eric to begin with? Abortions are not something you discuss over tea, with a total stranger, or (of all things!) a male (IMO). Besides, it doesn't sound like he promised on a family members life to keep it to himself....

Anyway, I'm crossing my fingers Eric stays and Kail goes.

I just read the TMZ and FOX statements pertaining to Amber's anti-semitic slurs. I take exception to one line of the FOX statement "Eric's main quality has been that he is the least offensive of the group." Apparently, FOX hasn't watched all the feeds or they wouldn't have included that sentence. I, for one, find Eric a very offensive human being. Much more so than Dick. who has never (in jest or otherwise) made any dirty little remarks suggesting incest to any of the house guests and their family members. He and Amber both will, hopefully, suffer deserved repercussions upon leaving the show. Also, I have NEVER heard that Dick planned to use the info about Amber's past against her. He told her what Eric had said because she had the right to know what a rat Eric was. Eric was the one who expressed to Jessica that he could use that confidential info against her in the future and Jessica immediately told him "You can't do that". THEN, he backed off. Putting a different spin on it doesn't make it so.

Deanna said...

Eric has never been given the option of how he votes. They never ask him if he is going w/ America's vote or on his own. He is "working for us America", and that is why he throws the HOH each week. He pretends to be upset about it, but he has clearly thrown each comp. Same w/ POV, his name is never called, because it may reveal a conflict of interest if he wins and removes someone America has voted for him to keep. If they do happen to put him in a POV comp, I'm pretty sure it will be thrown as well. As for the show allowing him to pick who he nominates (wouldn't that be changing the rules, to save their own butt?) Hmmmmmm......?

I don't feel sorry for Eric. He will walk away with a larger chunk of money than most, due to his completed tasks & I'm pretty darn sure that the producers feed him info and helpful ideas to keep him in the house, so they can continue on with their dumb idea... He is a slime ball for his behavior this week though. Please leave Eric!

Someone earlier posted that Dick is no better for using Amber's secret to turn her against Eric, but the truth is, Dick used Eric spreading Amber's secret, not the secret itself. Eric was the one who messed up by spreading Amber's personal stuff that she trusted him w/ telling (as her well deserved explosion against Eric yesterday showed). Dick just let Amber know that eric wasn't to be trusted, because that info got around the house...

GO DICK GO!!!!!
