'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Bulletin - Nominations are In 8/03

Second verse, same as the first...

Daniele nominated Kail and Jen. It's the third week on the block for these two.

This is getting ridiculous. I thought Daniele would mix it up a bit.

Why not put Zach and his band of wiggly friends on the block along side Amber. Perhaps she could drown the little buggers with her tears.

Perhaps Jen and Kail will set a new BB record - most times on the block without being evicted.

I agree - lets hear a new song. At least if you're going to nominate them - evict one for once. She isn't being very strategic. I hope BB8 doesn't turn into the backdoor season; I'd rather see some real game play. Backdooring is so cowardly.

When is amber going to be on the block. That girl has serious issues, I get embarassed for her when she is crying...it is painful to watch.
I don;t like Kail or her moral high road but at this rate she will be in the final two with Jen.
WWJD....what will jameka do?

I'm Henry VII I am...

Oops forgot the extra "I" - should be "Henry VIII".

Everybody, please substitute this correction.

Maybe BB should make a rule that if the same 2 people are nominated 2 or 3 weeks a row and neither of them goes home they can't be put on the block for a week.
It may not be in the spirit of the game but holy moly this is getting monotonous and stale for us viewers.

Well, let's hope the nominations stay the same so one of them goes home this time. I don't want to see Eric get back dored. Of course, I'm not sure that Dick and Daniel have to votes to get Eric out anyway.

Wow, she's playing it safe I guess? I do hope that the nominations don't change so they have to vote one of them out giving us a change next week.

I so agree! Let's get one of these two OUT for once. Then hopefully the game can move on!

It is time for them to make a smart move.Kail should be gone and Jen.How long before we see two at once go ?

the thing that i find so stupid is that the whole backdoor idea was to get a strong player on the block so that he/she can't use the veto to get off - these idiots are backdooring people who never win vetos !! how dumb, just put your target up !!

no originality with any of these hamsters !!

If they do a double eviction week, meaning Kail or Jen go, speed up HoH, PoV and eviction of round two that would stir things up a bit-- one of them is out, the next is first on the Jury.

But as it should go this week, Jessica is due to win PoV. Eric needs to play and win PoV.

I'm not understanding the strategy of backdooring this year. They all can't stand Jen or Kail use Kail as a pawn and Jen wins PoV or has someone win it for her. Kail is able to think with Jen in the house.

grrrr....

I don't understand why ED keeps ranting and raving about this stray vote. What difference does it make...the person they wanted out got eliminated. It makes no sense to me to worry about that lone vote. It is one vote...they don't attack zach for voting the way he did. I am still trying to figure how ED thinks this voter is in Kail and Jen's group. The vote both times was to vote out Kail. I am confused.

i'm so glad jessica and eric have teamed back up:)

also, why is no one concerned about the amber/dustin alliance? esp. with the banner saying eric AND AMBER...

and in eric's defense, his lies so far have been mostly because big brother and america made him do it. he didn't really have a choice. it's not like the producers said, "wanna be america's player? no? oh well, forget we had this conversation and welcome to the house!"...i don't know why he doesn't get to decide whether or not to vote with america...since he only gets the $$ if he completes the task successfully...and his votes aren't helping him to win any money since those people aren't getting evicted.

dick's losing it. he's got an interesting way of remembering the details.

They say the third time is the charm. I am desparately hoping that's true.

I feel bad that our votes are gradually hurting Eric's chances in the house. Once we learned what a homophobic hypocritical berk Kail is, it was hard not to want her out, but how were we to know which way the house was going to vote in the end? Eric barely gets 36 hours to completely turn the vote around both weeks. It's truly going to be a crud show without Eric in the game, so I hope we all take that into consideration before we cast this week's AP eviction poll.

I continue to back Eric and Jessica but I am not ready for Dani or Dick to leave just yet. It will be very boring without them!Just hope a couple of others leave first.

10:44 asked why Dick is stuck on finding the person behind the stray votes. IMO it is because it is the one thing in the house he doesn't know. control freak who can't control his temper.
And, I think they don't nominate Amber because of the misery living with her would create. Maybe it is all just her game plan and if so, it might be working. Maybe they have overlooked her because they only identify her with tears and not winning.

I agree Sue, Only way to get rid of Amber is to backdoor her... and I hope they do it.

I don't want ot see Eric backdoored... but if he is, he could at least have campaigned for enough votes this week if he's smart... and I beoieve he is. The game could finally be getting going.

I am absolutely amazed how tolerant these people are of Amber. They don't see all the DR tears but they knwo she cries constant;y It's been 5 weeks... you'd think the crying wolf thing (no pun) would get to them by now. I don't even hear them talking behind her back much about it. Is anyone else have an explanation for this?

I know that they want Eric out bad because the realized he is shady and not trustworthy, but I think the house guests keep getting off track and need to just get rid of Jen! However I would like to see Dustin, Jameka or Jessica go home :-)

I know a lot of folks out there would like to see Jen get the boot soon, but I for one, would really like to see her stick around a bit longer. First of all, I'm not so sure we've really seen the true Jen yet and can hardly wait until we do.

Second, even tho I started out liking the Evel D, I'm getting real tired of his temper and tirades! I'm sure it all started out as strategic playing on his part, which might have been a good idea at the time, but now I think he's just plain out of control. I'm thinking more and more that I'd like to see him go before Jen.

For the most part, Jen has remained calm, cool and collected while Evel shouts profanities and get's his blood pressure rising. To me, that says she's playing a smarter game than he is.

Along with Evel, I'd like to see Amber go slip, slidin' away in her stream of tears! I just can't figure out how come none of the HG's are bothered with her as much as we are!

Obviously, with Dani being HOH this week, Evel is safe. And so is Amber, if things continue to go as Dani plans. But I would so love to see the two of them go up on the block next week . . . and stay there until one of them is voted out!!!!!

Dick was adamant regarding Eric, his instinct's working into overdrive ( though ED missed a key red flag after Eric announced prior Dani's nomination he'd volunteer to play for POV ) It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Dick reeled in Jessica purposely ( big mistake ) By placing Kail - Jen on the block to once again backdoor a HG, ( cowardly move ) ultimately may have sealed Dick/ Danielle's fate -- Of course unless Dick/Danielle AWAKEN beforehand, stop their immature petty blindness behavior thus backdoor Amber instead, IMO they'll fall into similar category as Mike, bizarre antics enable a person from viewing what's standing right in front of them, although instincts were ignored, that's when you tend to back peddle, sooner or later your peddle chain breaks and boom, no brakes, what should ED/Danielle do? They have no choice but to place Jen ( if they hadn't already ) Zach, and Kail in their corner, sure it's twisted but who isn't twisted in this years BB cast of rejects!

i don't understand why no one says "shut up dick" - they are playing their game & he is playing his game - just tell him it's none of his business

and this stuff about "i'm saying what everyone is thinking" - i'd be the first to say, don't speak for me, you don't know what i'm thinking !!

referring to Dick Ed of course

If i could go into the house just for a minute, i would walk up to Amber in front of everyone & say, stop with the stupid tears already !! "i love you so much, i hope you're not mad at me" to a guy she didn't even know existed until a month ago !! what a twit

love you guys !! and especially jackie & zoetawny

Well, with Dick's waffling of last week, maybe the same pattern will develop. I would like Eric to stay in only because of his role as AP. I would prefer to see Amber gone. Her hugging Nick's leg and crying that she didn't know about the nomination last week was so way over the top. I was laughing at he at that point. I seriously hope her daughter is too young to watch this show because she is a poor role model. I hope out of the house she is strong for her family.

Either no one remembers what backdooring someone is about or I am just confused. Isn't it supposed to be where you intentionally do not put someone on the block so they can't save themselves, but then have it all worked out so that one of the current nominees will come off the block and the backdoored person goes up. Isn't this the original 6 finger plan or whatever it was called that got Jase evicted in his first season (5 maybe?).

If someone uses the pov without all this being orchestrated beforehand it is not a backdoor, it is just part of the game! Having Eric as the person to put up if the pov is used is not backdooring him. It is just their contingency plan.

Someone please correct me if I have this all wrong.

Sydney said...

Drew -- From my recollection, you're right. I think it's become so loosely referred to as back dooring when they are really only using one aspect of it... that the person has no chance to save themselves beyond a few hours to campaign or do deals (and also may not suspect they were going to be nominated).

But yes, I do miss Nakomis and crew's brilliance. Backdooring in the real sense you described used to involve total teamwork as everyone involved --even different alliances -- were all worked to get the POV to use for the plan, all voted the same etc. when one player really needed to go. None of that in this fragmented cesspool of tears and tatoos.

Many things seem to be detracting from any real game being played. Besides whatever lack the majority in this group has re:strategy adn deal making, the producers seem to be orchestrating this so much more than before. I'm pretty certain not all the balls are even in the bag to be pulled for the POV competition this season, and they are telling people what to do.... and yet they seem to have less control over the hamsters keeping the DR sessions to themselves for one, which has been damaging. I also saw that Nick was eating a taco while on slop -- and he said, "what can they really do?"
