'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds News (or lack there of) So Far 8/29

Since I last reported the "big news" -- Eric telling Jessica he did the Jen shirt mustarding and the odd votes, but not mentioning America's Player -- earlier today, not a lot has happened. Jessica is listening to her music, Jameka is repeatedly "Mmmm-mmm--mmm." Jessica should get the camera and write her HOH entry for the CBS website today.

Dick got up earlier than the rest, farting and burping while complaining about Daniele to us. He returned to bed.

Zach danced a dance for the amusement of Jessica and others -- his petting the cat dance.

Amber is miserable and whispering at Jameka. It's very hard to pick up what she's saying but it sounds like she spits when she whispers.

Oh darn. If they do evict Wamber I won't get to read feed updates like how she spits when she whispers and God Blesses God, or plans to be the Next Top Model. I swear that girl is delusional. Really, where did they find these people?

Eric's gf/ex-gf is going to be on Thurs. Teasers show her saying his showmance is 100% strategy-
I believe that was probably his intention going into the game(as is most single HG)BUT i think his feelings for Jess have become genuine and his gf may be in for a BIG surprise when this is over.

I agree with you nana in the nw...
sounds a lot like sour grapes to me.

Showmance or whatever it is, please don't let 'em show it again. I swear I almost lost my dinner trying to watch the mouthwash-chugging America's Player make his move. And who does CBS think they're kidding? There's no way America wasted its time to get online or text their votes to have Eric kiss Jessica!!! PLEASE!!! You so know ED or Zach was the winning vote!!!!

Good Grief!!! I sure do agree with ca hamster watcher. For me, let this disappointing BB8 be over none too soon.
Perhaps if CBS, wisely, asks Jackie to approve the HG roster next season, we'd all be better entertained. What a boring summer it's been.

I don't know what to think about Eric and his true feelings for Jessica or hers for him.
I have a hard time believing that the same boy who made those disgusting incest comments could be the whispering, giggling, mouth-wash gurgling 14 year old boy in love. Eric just doesn't add up to me.
I believe Jessica likes Eric, but back among her college friends, bar evenings, and cheerleading squad, she'll think of Eric as a BBF.

I think Eric is still going with his original stategy. Showmance to help him thru the game. He knows he needs to up his game play now that it is getting to the end. He needs someone on his side. That someone is the ever gullible little lush Jess. He is trying to assure he has at least 1 person on his side, even if it means climbing into bed and making out with someone he has no feelings for.
Think about this. He came into the house to flirt, whether it be with a male or female. Nick got Dani. That was 2 he now couldn't grab. Carol got kicked off early. What was left for Eric? Not much in the way of male or females to flirt with and carry on a showmance. The only choice was Jessica.
He flirted, but kept his distance, never taking it too far. He only uppped his flirtations once jen left and told Amber all about the g/f on the outside. He KNEW he had to up the romance a bit more to keep Jess believing he really has feelings for her.
He now knows Amber is trying to persuade Jess into trusting what Jen said. So now he decides to admit to the mustard and everything else so that Jess will think he's being honest about everything, including his feelings for her.
Look how cold and unfeeling that first kiss was. He only started showing a bit of passion after knowing he had to persuade Jess into ditching Amber, and because he fears Jess finding out the truth.
This isn't the first time anyone has mentioned to Jess about him not wanting to win hoh so his girlfriends pictures don't show up.
To keep himself in the game, he is doing whatever he has to do to throw everyone off, especially Jess.

I agree...I think Eric's showmance is just a strategy, but unlike Boogie or some of the others, he's doing his best not to come off as too big of a cad/heel/perv by pawing and slurping all over Jess, and ultimately hurting Jessica's feelings (or his girlfriend's?) too badly, not to mention embarassing her on National television.

I don't know what kind of relationship he and Jess could have anyhow - she periodically says she doesn't trust him, and he has lied to her. Yes, he has "had" to for the game, but I would be real worried about in the real world what he would feel justified in doing/hiding/lying about because he "had to."

I think they both have real feelings toward each other. Amazed that people don't see that. I don't think Eric would stick up so much for her and always make sure in his private convos with HG's that he tells them to not lump Jessica in with the concequences of his actions...

His kisses and stoking her hair and laying on her shoulder are real, me thinks. Jess lies there like a log, I agree, either cuz she's that kind of person she is or because HELLO == her parents wrote that they have the feeds and watch her all night til she goes to bed. AND she's said numerous times that she did not want to be the next Scrubika nor did she want to spend all kinds of time squirreled away from the other HG's and make them uncomfortable (inferring, I think, that Dani and Nick did).

If it's all Eric's strategy and she didn't like the kiss, as I've seen some write, WHY would she have said after their first kiss "It's about time" and "You're a great kisser?" Eric says he has no game with girls and that's apparent, due to the mouthwash and talking about needing chapstick while inbetween kisses... oy. That's adolescent to me, but it's REAL between them. IMHO

I agree, i think eric & jessica are very juvenile, but sincere - which makes jameka & amber very stupid & mean, for using jessica to further them in the game, by lying about eric & bad mouthing him for such a long time in the HOH room - they have no strategy, & no idea how to even come up with one, they have no "game"

I want amber GONE !! She is such a shallow & fake person, i just can't stand to watch her any more

Sydney, I completely agree!

Whey they are juvenile, and actually remind me of junior high school, I believe that they believe that this is real.

Now, what happens after they get back to the real world, their own lives, and outside influences, not to mention having the opportunity to see this whole lurid season on TV will be anyone's guess. :)

We shall see!

Shout out to Dla.

(I almost said Booyah)

Oh, I forgot one other thing about J/E being stiff. We know it's because he has no finesse (self-proclaimed) but as to Jess... I think somewhere in the last 48 hours that she said she's usually very affectionate outside of the house (but is just trying to maintain that neutrality she seems to have perfected from the first in the game with everyone, not just Eric).
