Here are the day's events since I posted the morning update:
- Eric kept telling Jessica he never cheated, etc., etc. He is really irked at Jen's mention about his girlfriend/relationship.
- He does indeed seem to be a bit smitten with Jessica. Is it all part of the game? I don't think so. He reminds me of a 14 year old boy in love.
- Eric and Jessica discussed various scenarios around the POV. They intend to eliminate one of their original nominees and aren't targetting Dick, Daniele, or Jameka.
- Amber and Jameka talked about how Eric is feeding Jessica ideas and it's his decisions, not hers, going into play.
- Amber and Jameka were also discussing number combinations with 1, 3, 5, and 7. I don't know what that was about, but it was important to them!
- Amber prayed and told God to "do what you think is best." Um, I may have to pray to remind him that her leaving the house as soon as possible is best!
- Jessica, Jameka, and Zach practiced memory questions for comps.
- There was a long feeds blockage, then WHAM -- Eric had won the Power of Veto! Apparently Zach was a very close second, but second doesn't cut it.
- The Veto Comp had them finding rats. (I can't see how that would be that difficult in the house this season, can you?)
- Jessica's happy because an Eric win means the nominations will remain the same -- Zach and Amber.
- Amber cried. Or pouted. Or cried while she pouted.
- Not knowing it vanished, Zach keeps talking Pirate Master. He's mentioned it before. Maybe he wants to be a pirate bunny.
- Zach is pleading his case to stay with anyone who will listen.
- Jameka says she'll be shocked no matter what Eric does with the veto.

Amber is quite annoying, but strategically getting rid of Dick or Danielle makes more sense! Letting them get to the final 4 would be a huge mistake! Go Jessica!
Hi Jackie, This year is really different from past shows...these hgs talk a lot, but the subjects are more boring to me than other years. They talk game, but more of the rehashing what they have done than laying new plans. It has just been an odd season. I can't find any to really root for. But reading the comments made me think of last season and compare the dastardly Dick with other villians. As bad as Dick's behavior has been, I think Boogie was much worst. Boogie was 'hardcore' to use one of his quotes and Dick just seems over the top. Eric has a foul mouth, but I don't know how far he would go to hurt someone. What do others think?
Dick would be a great one to be sitting by in the final two! He is surely in a league of his own!!!I like Jessica and Jameka, just think they have played the best game. I agree though, this season is different.
I honestly do not have a favorite. Kinda like Jess but even she is shady! Eric absolutely can't go soon enough for me anymore. We will probably never get the opportunity to vote him out right? LOL! This would be the perfect time to see that one of the "Donato's" are gone, but it will not happen. Mark my words, when "they" get the chance either Jess or Eric will be waving bye-bye.And even though I think Dick is crass, a bully to women, and a down right stinkin' pig, he does have the best game plan. Did I really say that? Tomorrow night should be interesting, to say the least. Wish we could tell Eric he has to put up Dick or Dani, that would be awesome. Most likely not in Allison's game plan though, the great procucer that she is....yes, that is a joke also.
Off subject... but I will be so thrilled when Booger and his warts drop off this blog and stop dragging me to them... Yuck! It gives me the willies each time...lol!!! ;)
If Jessica, Jameka or Zach win BB, the show is a joke, it goes to show you lazy people or followers don't deserve it.
They have done nothing in this game since day one..

Anon @ 10:22 - I think Dick is more talk than Boogie was. I find myself liking Dick at times (when he's behaving). I didn't ever like Mike Boogie, never. I think Eric is just an antsy guy who talks too much, harmless.
Sue -- Eric's big mouth one day when he was talking to her. But Jen usually would embellish things, then turn them against them to other HG.
Pat -- Glad to see you're still around! Alas, I don't watch 'House,' therefore I won't be blogging it. I will be blogging Survivor and Kid Nation episodes weekly over on TV Squad. I'll also have some Survivor content going on here. I should be blogging Heroes and Lost (when they return) as well as some other shows!
I also had/have the problem that some have posted about signing into Jackie's site and it rolling right to the video of Boogie.
I googled and downloaded the "free" Mozilla Firefox and now I am not having the problem anymore. Of course I must use Mozilla Firefox, the other place I have Jackie's blog it still is taking me back to Boogie's video.
Jackie posted to someone that it should be off the page within a few more entries, so maybe soon we will be free of this annoying happening.
I have been told that we must have click on the spinning icon to start the video and it could have something to do with AOL...not certain if this is true or not, as I am not a computer wizard.(I am not an AOL user)
I hope this helps those of you who do not want to wait it out until the video disappears. Let's hope this is the last time we think we have to know what is happening in Boogie's life!
Jackie, I also find myself really likeing Dick when he is behaving, and when he is teasing Dani, like the with the carrots tonight, He is very witty.. He also looks tired and utterly exhausted on the feeds some days, I just want to tell him to please go take a nap..

Are these three for real? How can they not know wht RV stands for? Jameka surprises me sometimes. She works in the school system but seems to be out of touch. Perhaps folks in her area do not go camping but then again wasn't there a movie a few years back called RV with Robin Williams? I did not see the movie but I could tell from the trailers it was about a family going on a trip in a RV - just by watching the trailer a person would know what RV stood for.
Each day these houseguests say and/or do things that make me stop and say how can I be so addicted to this show?
Can someone explain to me WHAT Jessica sees in Eric? He is so annoying & obnoxious. He reminds me of Eddie Haskell. Ugh.

deanna/sydney to answer your question about Power of 10--two contestants are asked questions, first person to get 3 pts. goes on to the money round and the other person is eliminated. The winner plays for 1,000/10,000/100,000,etc.
thus comes the name of the game because amounts are increased to power of 10 all the way to 10 mil.
Jackie--glad to read your thinking Eric/Jess are the "real thing". I hope when it's done she can realize that if the roles were reversed she would have done the same things Eric has done. I do believe his GF relationship is more off than on. I think if any move is going to happen it will be this week while she is HOH.
Lucy--I have questioned Jam's intelligence sometimes too. She seems not very knowledgable in areas that seem pretty common to me.
On another note, Jackie do you blog Dancing With the Stars?? I read today that Wayne Newton is going to be on it--yuck!!!
Every night Daniele just sits and watches other people clean up after their supper. She NEVER helps. She is a spoiled "princess" and I now dislike her whining voice more than Jessica's.

Dani has been a whiny and spoiled girl the whole season, and it has not gone unnoticed by the house. I'm not so sure that she would beat her dad in the final two if they were to get there. She thinks she would, but I'm thinking maybe not.
Her behavior is so annoying when all along she talks about how annoying anything and everything is for her. Me thinks Miss Dani might have an awakening afterwards like Amber should have. But wait.... no, she won't. She will go on with her life and continue to be the same spoiled girl we see on the feeds. America watching the show only do NOT see what we see on ShowToo and the feeds.
And yes, I feel sorry for Dick for having to put up with a child who acts like she does. There, I said it! LOL

Jackie has not typically blogged Dancing with the Stars, but she has set up a blog discussion area for those of us who watch the show! As you know, Jackie rocks!!
There are quite a few of us who follow DWTS, so I look forward to seeing you there!! It is a fun group, and you will love it!
PS: I am also a bit freaked out about Wayne Newton participating... but I was "anti" Jerry Springer last season, and ended up developing a soft spot for him as the weeks went by! Jerry was never a great dancer, but he certainly was a great team player and participant on the show.
Wayne Newton...what's wrong w/Wayne Newton? I personally admire him for all the charity work he's done and he's a big supporter of our troops and goes to entertain them all the time. There are/have been a lot of people on DWTS that I'd have rather not watched in favor of WN.
Never could get past Springer's TV persona to root for him. I thought bringing his daughter on was a cheap shot to get him sympathy votes,but then he's good at exploiting people for his own gain.
I,personally,hope Daniele's winning are minimal,at best. Seeing what type of selfish and mean personality she has,don't wish a lot of good things for her. She has some major growing up to do.She's a "user"!
I found that conversation Dani had with ED (I think?) interesting where she said she thinks she might not be so popular, because when she was on her trip, people would ask her about Amber, and when she told them her opinion about Amber, they looked aghast at how honest she was. She said she thought maybe people thought she was evil, or something. Got that right, sweetheart. I think Daniele may have the competition side down pat, but she's done squat in terms of forming personal bonds with people... and I think ED might actually have an easier time winning than she will, crazy as that may seem.
I still can't believe that twerp erased Amber's stupid necklace pictures off the digital camera. Just mean. Needlessly mean.
Daniele does help out with the housework and cleaning because many of the HG's have complained that Jessica never does her share of it. With that being said, I do think she is a bit spoiled and treats her dad like crap, but i also think Jess is just as spoiled... Lose-Lose situation there
Housework and personal relationships are two different things. I'll grant you that Jess is worthless in the housework arena, but it wasn't until ED said something that Dani stepped up and started cleaning. I think Jess thinks it's cute when she acts spoiled and makes Eric act like her houseboy (it's not). I doubt Dani would even acknowledge that she IS spoiled. Regardless, housework isn't worth $500K. Personal relationships could be.
funny because I tried to post the other night about this very subject about lazy people. Jackie commented in one of her posts how Dani said she never had to do chores cause her grandparents did everything.
First off, I'd like to say that does NOT mean Dani didn't WANT to do chores. I came from a VERY dysfunctional family and my parents wouldn't allow us to do anything. We would get yelled at if we wanted to help clean, cook, do laundry, even mow the grass. I didn't get to do any of that until I got married! I hated that I was never allowed to do any work while growing up because it made me very insecure as a married woman when it came to that stuff.
Dani has worked for the last couple years from what I have read and she only just turned 21. She has been supporting herself, and from what I understand her boyfriend for a while.
Jessica is a college student who lives off her parents and I have yet to hear her EVER mention any kind of job like the other houseguests have.
In the BB house, Dani has helped with cooking, cleaning, laundry and dishes. I have yet to see or read anything about Jessica doing anything other than sleeping, laying in bed flirting with Erik, or playing her drinking games, which she seems very good at.
Game wise I haven't seen her do much either. Yes, she won, what two HOH's? But she relies on Eric to make all the choices for her when she is HOH. She can't seem to think for herself.
Not only that, but she even has Eric as her personal servant to go fetch her food and drinks all the time. And she even commented how she does the same thing to her parents, she'll have a drink or something right in front of her and makes her parents hand it to her! Talk about a lazy spoiled brat!
Dick does MOST of the cooking and cleaning in that house, and Dani & Amber do a lot too. Do any of the others do much of anything concerning chores?

Yep, that about counts them. I only added Jessica because I think she has been spoiled, but I don't think she displays anything out of it that says she is and will always be. I think Jess is taking advantage of what is in front of her and 'that's that'. She has been nothing but fun and never gets into the real dirt we've seen this season.
Kail was and is spoiled by her husband, and I don't begrudge her that. I have a relationship that is similar and I love it. She's a wife, mother and a business owner, and she's shown, since leaving the show, that she is a class act.
Jen, well is just Jen. At times I see her 'Jenious' and think she got a raw deal; then I go back and say NA! I watch more and see more than what is played out on the show and I can see why people in the house got that impression of her. Plus, I lost respect when she broke the rules. Oh well!
Dani is whiney and she is moody. She walks away when she doesn't get her way and that is a sign of defiance. I can't defend how I'm feeling because you brought up a good point, or I can't win this because you are right and I have nothing to defend it with, or if I run away then you will feel like crap and I win.
I think Dick shows amazing restraint with Danielle. Have no idea what their relationship/history is like and I have no dog in the fight. On a personal level, I could care less, but I think its sad that a twenty-one year old girl would be so disrespectful, and say that she never had to do chores in her life. Dani's words not mine.
I'm loving Jessica more and more and more as time goes on. Still hoping here for a DDEJ final four, and may the best player finally win in the end! Its about time.

I can see a lot of my family just in Dick & Dani. I see both sides. Yes, Dani does walk away, but in the case of arguments with Dick, he interrupts her and won't let her finish what she wants to say. So why stick around and listen to the same old crap all the time when you know what you have to say is going to be ignored?
I want to believe that Dick is trying to make a go with working things out with Dani, but I also have to agree with what Dani said ...is this game really the place to do this? Or is he trying to put on a big show to build himself up and make it all look like it's Dani's fault? I think he needs to work on his relationship but just between the two of them, and maybe a family counselor...not in front of the whole country.
Dani seems like she has gone thru a rough life and with her being very young still, she has a lot on her plate. Jess seems like her life has been like that of a pampered princess and has never had to worry about anything other than what boy to flirt with next. Or what girl to get mad at over not returning a 5 dollar loan. lol
We also do not know how Dicks parents were with him. Just because his mom is now an ordained minister, does not mean she was always some sort of saintly figure. Anyone can become an ordained minister over the internet. Doesn't mean a thing.
That being said, I do like Dick & Dani and would like to see them as the final 2.

Eric decision for POV is bound by AP, and he won't change the noms. Amber is the choice to go! Too bad. This is the time to break up the pairs in the game , in this case the D's.
I will be looking forward to Tuesday's show. Can't wait to see Eric's reaction to playing in the POV.
Jackie, I have the same problem as others with accessing your blog, and I'm on Yahoo. I usually don't get a notice on your updates, until much later than you post them. And jumping to Booger's wart is a little creepy. But, you are worth the wait!

I guess all the obessing over Eric's ball (hee hee) yesterday is over now that that we know he has one (hee hee).
Nana - I'm in NJ, up near the George Washington Bridge. We're have true dog days of summer...high temps and high humidity. I DID go to You Tube and look at BB videos, but got stuck watching Will ones from other seasons because the ones from this season were boring...lol.
I agree with Jackie, Eric does act like a 14 year old with the first girl who ever liked him. That seems real. What it is on Jessica's part, I have no clue.
I think Danielle sees herself starring in the role of victim, and only sees things through that window. The attention she receives for it is reinforcing to her.
I know that at 21 she's not at the point where one realizes that the past is past and all that goes with it. Heck, some people never get there. I don't blame her for the stuff I see that comes from that, but I do wish she would buck-up.
* Daniele will get out of the house, go about her life (probably much richer than when she went in) and any negatives she reads will be 'our' fault..not hers.
* I wonder how much she has brought Dick's game down. Like for instance, last night instead of sitting on the sofa trying to find out why she was depressed (withdrawn and sulky), he could have been working his own game with some of the others...finally he convinced her to go to HOH for some chatting.
* Dani just hates them all. Amber loves them all sooo much. One thing about Dani, though, she knows the game and she thinks it would be the best move to backdoor her this week. That is why she is worried. I agree with her, but it isn't going to happen.
* Daniele asked to help cook (make garlic bread) and Dick said no to her, because she did it wrong the day before. A good reason for her not to do anything. Unconditional love does not apply to having to eat salty garlic bread. I don't like watching the screen when she is on..but do want to be fair and point out that she did offer to cook.
* Mention of Springer made me think of how he would have produced this year's show. I would be complaining about the way the show was run, but I bet it would be exciting. Chairs thrown, ex-lovers appearing in the middle of the night, bodyguards stationed around the house.
* It almost looks like Dick has aged during the show. Maybe it is just the red hair streaks are pink now but I think he might be losing muscle tone...maybe it is just weight fluctuation. His appearance isn't quite as sharp or edgy. Maybe I am just getting used to seeing him.
* I realized one difference between Boogie and Dick and it is what Dick fans have been saying all along. Boogie kept much of his mean-ness behind the back. Dick goes for the full frontal attack. Boogie was heartless and I do not think that describes Dick at all.
* How many hours a day does Daniele file her nails?

How can Eric win the game if he is controlled by the public opinion. He cant "play" the game. All he can do is vote the way we want him to. Its the only way he can win his ten thousand for every five challenges he takes. I dont see how he can go to the final two if evry move is orchestrated by BB and the public.

Survivor:China figured it out, they are there to help promote the country for the Olympics...how cheesy. Considering they will probably be on the edge of the Gobi desert...not like it will be an ad for Chinese tourism. IMAO
Many complain about Jessica's voice but when Eric and her are talking alone together I have to turn off the feeds. Both voices together are grating!
If she gets paid...Jessica is on a dance team for a sport????

Just a few of my thoughts...
1) Sorry, Eric and Jessica bore me. They really do. Real or not, it is boring. No real spark that makes me want to watch them.
2) Boogie was much worse than Dick. Yes we all agree Dick has said some down right nasty things to people, but Boogie played, used and made a fool of Erica on national tv and admitted it all along. To top it off, he was rewarded for it big time. Boogie=snake
3)I think all of the houseguests who assume they would beat Dick easily in the final 2 could be in for a big surprise. I do not think it will be as much of a slam dunk as they think. But I say, let them keep assuming.
4)I think Jess is much lazier and more spoiled than Dani. I agree Dani can be a brat, especially with her father. I can't say that Dani is lazy knowing that at 20 she works and is out on her own. Jess seems to come from a close, normal family, I am sure Dani wishes she would have had a normal family life with parents who were together and at 21 was living in a dorm somewhere having the experience of college life. So of course Dani has issues and hopefully when she leaves to go back to the real world she might be in a position make some changes.
5)I am one of those people hoping for D/D/E/J in the final four. Just couldn't stomach A,J or even Z getting that close to winning. Actually I am starting to think Eric and Dick as the final 2 could be very interesting.
6)I too have questioned Jameka's intelligence. I mean, she thinks veal is lamb? hmmmmmm. But I also wondered how someone who has a education could be so close to Amber, spend hours on end listening to Amber and never tell Amber "SHUT THE HELL UP, YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!". She has to know Amber is a freakin idiot.
7)Please,please,please make Amber go away. She has zero game.

Sue...I agree, Dick does look like he has aged during the show. It looks like he lost muscle with the weight. Stress can do that to you, and that man has been stressing! Grief can do that to you too, and I think he has been experiencing some of that with Daniele. I believe his efforts are genuine, although awkward, and the rejection must be difficult.
Don't the relatives of the houseguests have to sign waivers in order to be spoken about? If I were Dick's ex/Dani's mom, and I knew the two of them were in there together, I sure as heck wouldn't sign one..lol.
If Eric is in the final two, America will not be able to cast a vote for the BB winner. We need Eric in sequester so we can vote on the winner.
IMHO I would love to see eric win... I have been a fan of his since the first show... and I have also have started liking Jess as well... seeing them in the final 2 would be great if you ask me!
