'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds/TV Squad

I have an article on the breaking news of a possible DOR (Demand of Release) by Kail over on TV Squad. Since I last wrote, we've been blocked.

I tried to post over at TVSquad, but don't see it there yet...I think the slop has gotten to her. I don't mind her leaving one bit, but I sure don't like quitters (and I thought she said a couple weeks ago she was hanging in b/c her kids believed in her?)!

Wowzer ! I hope Kail makes BB history tonight!
Thanks for the update Jackie!
I feel the first real enthusiasm for BB8.

Jackie, do you know what happens if Kail does voluntarily leave? Does Dustin quickly put up someone else, or is there just no vote? Or does Nick automatically go, which wouldn't seem very fair?

skywitch - I really don't know. The feeds have been blocked, but she didn't say a word to anyone including Jen prior to the block. How it MAY go down is vote as usual, then Julie announces the votes were for Nick to go, but expect the unexpected... Kail is voluntarily leaving the show and Nick is safe.

That's just a scenario running through my mind. I don't think the nominations will change or anyone else would go on the block. Nor do I think both Kail and Nick would leave as that would upset their scheduling down the road.

What concerns me is that I don't think Kail could make it through the little "save me" nominations speech before the vote.

Jackie - good thought, I didn't think of the scenario with the speech. I'd be sad if she does quit, and I think the house would not react kindly towards her...but...we'll have to wait and see! Good thing not for long!!

Thanks, Jackie. Your scenario is a very good one. I don't think BB has ever been confronted with this situation before, a nominee wanting to leave on eviction night.

The feeds have returned. Everyone is joking around in the kitchen or primping. Except Kail. She's in the kitchen heating something in the microwave and is silent, just watching the others.

Heating something? Her last bowl of slop? (She's still on slop, isn't she?)~SharonS

Here's hoping that Kail does go tonight. She's not very good at the game anyway.
Wouldn't it be an interesting week if Zach were to win HOH tonight?
I wonder who he'd put on the block...and which housemates would suck up to him.

Please, please, please let Kail go home tonight. I'm on the west coast and do not intend leaving the office until after the east coast show has finished. Jackie, as always, thanks for the excellent reporting!

Kail, too bad, so sad. Go back to that town you own in your safe little world where everyone there looks, acts and talks like you. Most of us won't miss you. G'bye!

What a turn of events - glad the show is on so I don't have to wait any longer! Let's see what happens...

OMG! I wouldn't mind in the least if BB releases Kail. I'm wondering if she has to go through the live vote tonight first before she is released. Also, I'm wondering if the reasons for DOR are specified in the contract and are more serious than Kail not liking being 'cussed out' or wanting to go home because she knows there's no hope of her winning it all. If Nick is evicted tonight and Kail is released then it could be that Chenbot might make an insignificant reference to Kail leaving on the next show. I can't imagine BB broadcasting "private issues" on a live show.

I'm turning my phone off tonight when the show starts. ;) I always seem to get interrupted.

Thanks Jackie, for paying such close attention to the live feeds and posting it all here for us.
