'Big Brother 8' - Live Feeds Report - Monday 9/03 So Far

Jessica rests alone in the pool, alone with her thoughts. Joe Cool Rubber Ducky is surely nearby spying on her to report back to Evil Zach.

Here are the day's events so far in that Big Brother House of Faux Friendships:
  • Early in the morning hours, Eric um ... pleasured himself. Jessica was not aware of it.
  • Daniele and Jessica both feel a bit sick. Nerves? Alcohol? Well, it's not alcohol on Daniele's part. She's still abstaining.
  • Dick had a Dick Fit because someone had thrown a napkin on the ground in the backyard and it was covered in ants. He has a point, but I was thinking it might attract the ones out from the kitchen.
  • Eric mimicked Dick some more and the others thought he lost a bet and had to do so. Daniele doesn't think he lost a bet, she thinks he decided to mimic Dick because he annoys him.
  • The Veto Ceremony went down as I reported earlier. Daniele didn't use the veto and it's still Jameka and Jessica on the block.
  • Not knowing that America has a hand in directing Eric's vote, the nominees are sure that Eric will vote for Jessica to stay.
  • Dick went to Jameka and warned her in a nice considerate way that they're going to vote her out this week. He just wanted her to know that it wasn't personal, no one wants to be next to her in the final two because she's so well-liked, purely strategic.
  • That, of course, was a lie and a ploy. We know that Dick and Daniele control the vote and plan to vote Jessica off this week.
  • Jameka, of course, reported the conversation back to Jessica.
  • Jessica is very suspicious about the whole thing and thinks that she's still the target.
  • Eric believes that Dick and Daniele are voting for Jameka to leave, so he tried to pep talk Jessica.
  • Eric told her that if she stays this week, Dick and Daniele will have honored their deal. (Or not, I say!)
  • Zach told Dick that Eric had approached him and asked that he not be put on the block against Jessica. Dick thought it was funny.
  • It's still over 100 degrees there. How do they lay out tanning? Eww.
  • Jameka is hoping for a secret power which will save her in the game. (Little does she know, she'll probably get one this week. It's called betrayal.)
  • Jessica thinks that Jameka told her the truth about the conversation with Dick, but has some doubts. Eric thinks that if Dick was lying to Jameka, she wasn't in on any scheme.

That's probably the closest Eric will ever get to "gettin' any" from Jess.....Ahem.

Jameka will probably be calling her "save" a miracle from God. She has no clue to what is going on around her. I hope she's gone next week, if not the second evictee this week.

I thought the D/D plan was to keep Zach in the dark about who they were voting off on Thurs untill Thurs. They Dick goes and tells Zack. It is along time until Thurs and I don't think they (Dick/Zack) will be able to keep big mouths shut till then. Jess is already having doubts and it is only Monday....What makes them think they will be able to keep this"secret" for 72 more hours?

Not to be rude, but isn't there a...jack shack....as they used to have?

Anonymous said...

To ray: BB showed the "jack shack" earlier this season when Jameka was hovering over it while praying/crying(eww). I don't think she realized what it was. Anyway, is that where Eric pleasured himself? If it wasn't for the size of his ego, you could probably fit two Erics into Howie's old "jack shack."

IMO about the one thing Dick had (emphasize had) going for him was that he didn't lie that much and usually kept his deal(s). I wish he and Daniele would keep to the F4 deal and then whatever happens happens. I really couldn't care less that Jessica leaves, Jameka stays; I just was interested in seeing how that F4 played out.

Also, does anyone else think things could change yet again before Thursday?

Hmmm, I just thought about it too, Jess has said more than once that if she gets HOH next week (not knowing about DE), she'd put D & D up so I guess it's just a matter of who breaks the deal unnecessarily first.

It does make me laugh when the HG's accuse each other of lying and being shady, etc. Isn't that the whole basis of BB?

i think d/d are going to confuse the whole house this week or next week...Im going to try to have AP to vote off Jess, and we'll see her reaction because nobody knows exept for Eric. (well duh)

Zoetawny said...

The pool is the only place to be today...or the beach. It's HOT HOT HOT here in CA. UGH! I hope the house guests are using lots of sunscreen.

Did I read right...Eric pleasuring himself? You mean he wasn't discreet about it? EWWWW! How did you know, Jackie? Wait, maybe that's TMI.

ED had a "Dick Fit"? Jackie, you're too much. LOL

Sounds like the plan to evict Jessica is mainly to upset Eric and throw him off balance. Wonder if Jess will be angry at him for not being able to stop her eviction?

Ironic that Dick told Jam that she was going home...bold face lie. Wasn't ED ranting and screaming at Jen for being a liar? Don't they know everyone is going to lie in this game? Jess isn't that naive so no wonder she remains suspicious. Jam may get her miracle this week. I know it must have been answered already, but when will Jam be able to play for HOH?

Thanks for all the details, Jackie.
Hope you're having a relaxing Labor Day.

If Jess has any hopes of staying, she needs to start wheeling and dealing for herself, instead of always letting Eric take the lead. She hasn't even talked to D/D about eviction. She would need to come up with some scenarios to sell her case. But I think she's too immature to realize that #1) you have to take charge of your own destiny and #2) sometimes in life you have to negotiate with people that you don't necessarily like. She's spending all her time with Jameka, when she should be working on D/D. (Not that I want her to stay, just pointing out how she's guaranteeing her own eviction.)

What if the 2nd evictee on Thurs is someone other than Jess or Jameka? Will they have to leave without packing? (And, please, let it be Eric, God Bless You, God.)

In other news, former HG Mike is taking bids to be his date to the wrap party...let's send Zoetawny! Or Terry in CA! Who else is in the neighborhood?

DID I READ SOMEWHERE THAT THERE IS GOING TO BE A "SENIOR BIG BROTHER"? I DON'T KOWN ABOUT THIS!! I'M A SENIOR. IF THIS IS SO I JUST MIGHT SIGN UP. GOD HELP US ALL. JACKIE FROM N.C.

PlaidChick said...

We sent a clear message to Eric a few weeks back that he was on the wrong team. Even if the % of the AP vote is to evict Jessica, I don't think the producers will mess Eric up that bad and make him vote out Jessica. He's up 32,000-- and he has no room to bitch that AP ruined his game, that's a nice chunk of change for not winning 1st or 2nd place.

Mr BB Know-it-All should know about the jack shack, but apparently he doesn't because this isn't the first time he's taken care of his needs IN HIS BED-- ewwww.

Anonymous said...

I hope Dick and Dani are the next two to get voted out.

Hate them!

Anonymous said...

Ok...this might have been said in a previous comment section, but WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO SHOW THE JURY HOUSE??? I'm ready to see them. I'm still wondering if Jen went!

Thanks for all the posts Jackie!!

Jackie S. said...

The "jack shack" still exists -- it's the pool equipment box in the backyard. But Eric used his bed, a sock, a tissue and was turned away from Jessica.

And, alas, the Senior BB Game only exists here on the blog. I don't think we could attract the younger demographic for ratings!

Jackie S. said...

Jennifer - It seems from various sources that we won't be seeing the jury house this season. It makes me wonder if they even have one or if they're sequestering them individually with handlers at hotels.

Anonymous said...

Dick hates liars until he becomes one himself, then it's ok to be a liar. It's ok when there's money at stake, though. He probably needs the dough to keep himself in red hair dye and black nail polish and cigarettes.

PlaidChick said...

The internet rumor is that the HG's were moved because of one of the Hurricanes-- the other rumors I have heard is that someone interviewed Dustin and asked him about AP, Jen already knew about AP supposedly from the mishap in the DR and her seeing the AP card after Eric following along, thus they have been seperated or she did not go to sequester at all. No one has spoke of Amber. My guess is that they have all been seperated for whatever reason. I don't buy the above speculations I mentioned.

I live under a rock, I suppose.

I HAVE NEVER, EVER heard the expression ~~being thrown under the bus~~ until this show.

Is this a common expression?

GROSS! Wait until Jess' family tells her what he did while in bed with her!

Anonymous said... I HAVE NEVER, EVER heard the expression ~~being thrown under the bus~~ until this show.

It is in the South.

Dani is currently whipping up something in the kitchen and there's an ant in the bowl but she doesn't know it. LMAO.

YUM! Hope she shares it with her dear DAD!

Sydney - D/D are still planning on voting out Jess. Dick's strategy is to tell Jameka she is the target, and then vote out Jess, which should shock Eric so much he won't be able to win HOH comp.

Becky - I believe Eric was in another bed by himself for his nocturnal activities. He had been making out with Jess, but then went in another room to sleep.

Heather - "thrown under the bus" was used on the last few seasons, but I can't remember the origin. But occasionally someone mangles it and says "sell you under the bus" which always cracks me up, LOL!

Joe in NY said...

Heather & Becky - we use "throw you under a bus" up North also!

So ED and Eric both had Dick fits today? ED because of a napking and Eric with a napkin. Was it the same napkin?

I agree with anonymous (for a change) - once Dani had the POV, why didn't Jess go to her and try to work a deal LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE HOUSE HAS...except Jameeka. Interesting, isn't it?

In Jameeka's case, I think its blind trust in God. In Jessica's case, I think it is simply youthful stupidity. Jess really doesn't play well when she ain't the Belle of the Ball (another good ol' Southern term)

Heather,

In my circles, "throwing someone under the bus" is pretty common terminology. I have heard it used quite a bit for the last 4 or 5 years....

Maybe this is a regional thing?

Jackie S. said...

I've only heard the expression "thrown under the bus" mostly on TV and more often on Big Brother.

If I had to come up with a regional colloquialism for the sentiment here, I'd start "drop off in Newark."

I have just returned from a weekend visit with my Mom who has Alzheimer's.
It is wonderful to see her and be with her but the visits drain every ounce of energy I have between the 600 mile round trip and seeing how much more my Mother's personality is disappearing.
Perhaps it is just that I am tired but it makes me sad to know that Jess will be leaving. I know she is a bouncey cheerleader all about "me" girl. Compared to the ice princess Dani I like Jess much better.
I am disgusted with the thought of the final 2 being Dani and Zach or Eric. I Know Dick will fall on his sword for Dani.
I seem to have a knack, regardless of which reality show it is, to dislike the final 2 more than any of the other players.

Anonymous said...

Lynn 1-I too have a mother that has Alzheimer's. We just put her in Assisted Living a few weeks ago. It is a hard and long journey to take with them, but one that must be taken. We must remember how much they were there for us throughout the many years and it is only fair that we take this long hard journey with them now.

My family is very fortunate right now that she still knows who we are and I cannot begin to think of the day when she may not.

I will keep your in my thoughts and prayers. As hard as it is, may the memories you've kept close to your heart bring you special peace.

Hang in there.

My comment re: Dick saying last week to Dani: "we need to get Jessica out" was for the cases made for him being true to his word, which I largely agree with. It's absolutely the right move for D&D to get rid of J or E, but I'm just offering it up... When Eric was encouraging Jessica to keep their f4 deal in tact last week (and not using the veto), D&D were plotting to break the deal first. Had they gotten HOH, they would have put one or both up.

Heather adn Dla, I've heard thrown under the bus used too --for years --anywhere I've lived (NY, CHicago, LA, Houston). Not sure of it's origin. They overuse it on BB tho.

In NY I had my dear friend tell me he'd push me in front of a cab to get to someone fabulous he had a crush on... I died laughing. Now THAT's regional!

Whew! Thought my pc crashed this afternoon. It wouldn't reboot no matter what I tried. Then, it seemed to be "healing" itself checking partitions, file structures, etc. But, I'm afraid to turn it off in case I can't get it to boot up again.

clementine...

LMBO! I don't think Mike will have a hard time finding a date for the wrap party. He's not my type anyway. My dog Zoe would be happy to go with him. :)) Besides, the house guests might hate me if they see my graphics. ;) I wonder how many BB blogs they read after the show is over. It would be great if they read Jackie's blog.

I'm disappointed that we won't get to see the sequester house this season. It was great watching the newest member of the jury arrive. I'm sure Jackie's right about the possibility of there not being a sequester house this season. Hmmmm, wonder what hotel they are staying at? I can't believe the Paparazzi hasn't spotted any of them, yet. Maybe we'll get some spoilers on where they are before the finale. I could go there and ask for Wahmber's autograph...NOT!!

Ok, rambling again. Time for dinner.
Ciao!
xoxo

LOL Jackie for the "drop off in Newark"...Lord knows that's even worse these days than thrown under a bus.

I agree with clementine...Jessica should be taking control of her eviction worries with action. I'd give them Eric on a silver platter if I were her, or play up the Zach won HOH when we should have evicted him instead of Amber, so let's get rid of Jameka now and then Zach before the game is out of our hands again. Something...anything.

Lynn and Patty,

Also dealing with an 87 year old mother, who has strokes that cause demetia. I am blessed that she will be able to afford to be in a place that will be right for her. Not everyone can afford the expense to take care of those with alzheimers or dementia. It is such a worry. I hope you are blessed the same as me in that respect.

The holiday weekend is winding down and that means the end of summer....
those in Ca. would probably welcome some heat relief.

Bethany--I think we are in an alliance of two. I would like to see Jess remain in the house also. If a young blonde was leaving I would rather see the end of Dani.

Deanna 6:40-- THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL ATTACK--I would just like your thoughts--
you commented about Jess being rude and mean to Zach because she ignored him....is that any worse than Dani who is "pretending" to be his
friend and ally knowing that she's using him and
plans on evicting him soon?
Even now D/D are laughing
about him and making rude
comments behind his back.

The phrase "throwing someone under the bus" is
used quite often in the NW.
I've heard my kids use it for about 4-5 years now.

As for Eric---he seems to have this "need" every few weeks. Jess gets his motor running and then he goes to his own bed to cross the finish line!! But it usually doesn't happen until about 5a.m. so I'm guessing Jess's family hasn't seen it. I must say I think Jess has conducted herself pretty well--she keeps her clothes on hasn't went too far when she's in bed with him. As a parent I would not be embarassed with what she has done with the showmance. For those who are interested ----Youtube has a few videos of him.

Since we really don't know how the AP vote went I don't think the producers
will have Eric vote off Jess. As a previous commenter said most of America who votes doesn't see the live feeds so they will want to keep the show-
mance going(they do not know the betrayal D/D have
going).

Eric has always had the option of NOT doing two of the three tasks each week.
But the vote is not his.

Jackie in N.C. the Senior edition of BB is wishful thinking--for some good laughs go back to Thurs/Fri. and read some of the ideas commenters came up with for comps.

There has been alot of whispering going on between E/J this weekend and I think he has told her alot. What we have heard are comments like
"if your gone I don't want
there to be secrets" "I
don't want things left unsaid"......her response has been "Oh Eric, I understand"... "Did you really"?..."I don't believe it" Just speculation on my part...

I wonder if they both end up in SH(if there is one)
soon if he can tell her??
Plaidchick I didn't read the fine print--what's it say??LOL

I think if Eric keeps telling Jess much more about what he's been up to,that he should have to forfeit the money! That is supposed to be between him and BB and US. Now if he feels the need to confess to his "showmance" then he should not get to have the money! I don't like him and I don't want him to be able to cheat his way out of this.So she may hate him when she finds out...tough!

I don't care how "mean" others think it would be to make Eric vote Jess out. I'm going to be voting that way. Again, don't take the deal if you can't accept the terms.Give the money back and you can vote any way you want. Granted most of the "tasks" were more than lame anyway.

I think all of the hamsters will visit the Waffle House several times before the vote goes down on Thursday. JMO.

Patty and KLS, Thanks for your understanding and kind words of support.
I wish you both all the best with your moms.
Luckily my Mother does have the means to be in a state of the srt assisted living facility which caters only to people with dementia and Alzheimer's. Also we have a sitter with her during the day time hours.
She was diagnosed about 8 years ago. Until 2 years ago she was responding very well to the RX but recently she has gone down hill.
Some days she knows me some days not.
Although I can only go to see her about every 6 weeks I call her twice a day and that seems to help her to remember me a bit more than other family members who aren't able to stay in touch as much as I do.

Jackie, I am sorry to clutter your Blog site with personal stuff. I really enjoy chatting about BB but tonight needed to vent.
I will not make a habit of it.

Sydney said...

Lynn1 --

I completely understand. I know that feeling well. Patty and ksl too... thanks for speaking up.

My mother has had dementia for 13 years now, and my dad for the last 5. We'd been calling what's happened to my mother Alz. Both she and Dad had unchecked diabetes and have suffered a few strokes each from that; we're sure it's the cause of Dad's changes, and maybe hers too.

Thankfully my father did well enough that they are able to be in their own house with full time care. For a few years they could not live together but dad just returned home from assisted living. Both are now in a place where their unawareness has become a kind of blessing -- for THEM. Seems once they cross that line, the ones who really can suffer are those close to them.

Hopefully you have families where this can bring you all together, as it can also do the opposite. Mine was more to the latter. The few friends I felt I could turn to just couldn't relate as it's such a unique thing. I felt awfully alone with it and very tired many times.

The silver lining was that concurrently, it gave me such a sense of being alive, a fantastically beautiful reminder that I have today. It's fine tuned my sense of wonder and gratitude for life and has rooted me very much in the now.

Sending warm hugs to all...

PS: Jackie -- I too was going to apologize for responding here but did want to say something to lynn1 and the others... I enjoy the folks here so much, and in truth most of us visit with each other over TV topics just about every day... I think it's natural to enjoy hearing about their pets/weather/holiday plans, as well as any more personal things that get shared here and there.

(Maybe you need to open a chat link for us like you did for the shows you weren't going to cover but we wanted to talk about, lol!). I hope you got some down time this weekend. Thanks for everything you do. :-)

I just got the news that our temperature is going down by ten degrees tomorrow and then every day after cooler...THANK GOD. Its been so awful here in CA.
I say make Eric vote out Jessica, only fair because he is making money at this....
You know this is the first reference to the Jack Shack since last season....thats a bit impressive...in an rather odd, yucky way....I think I'd rather have an ant in my cookie than know this

Jackie said: "But Eric used his bed, a sock, a tissue and was turned away from Jessica."

I haven't read through all of the comments and I'm not too sure if this issue has been addressed or not but here goes nothing. In wathing the feeds yesterday, Jessica started to pack, and she made a statement that she was "missing a sock". You don't suppose that Eric used Jessica's sock do you? If he did, ewwwwww, that's gross LOLOL.

Thanks Jackie or anyone else!
