Jessica leaves tomorrow thanks to her own lack of boldness in playing the game and counting on a shomance to protect her. I was pulling for her nevertheless because I liked the other houseguests even less, but at this point only D&D have a game. Eric was a waste of airtime and an annoyance...and who thought up those infantile "tasks" for America's player to perform on our behalf. God, did the producers thinks we are a nation of morons entertained by who a dork gives his woobie to...or who he imitates, gets into the sack with or kisses, or whose possessions he trashes?

Why would someone even bring that blanket and stuffed toy in the house.
I think Dani and Dick tonight are playing a great game as to not let Eric knw that Jess will be going. I guess the AP is that Jam should go. Eric said to her tonight that he WILL vote to keep JESS tomorrow..
D&D are going to figure out its a double eviction week or night. We know its a DE NIGHT.....Eric Can't win tomorrow night.

I remember reading in one of these posts that Eric is an actor. I know that the CBS BB website said that he's a "talent management asst". Just wondering if him being an actor is true, or if he's at least had acting classes? Or if he is around actors in his job, to where he could have learned acting tips. Like how to cry on cue?
Because it made me wonder, is it possible that just maybe Eric is playing not only Jess, but America too? Maybe the tears in the diary room were all "acting".
He knew that the next AP was going to be us telling him who his vote had to be for. Maybe he was hoping to bring on the false tears to get sympathy from America, hoping we'd vote for him to vote for Jameka.
I know that he already thinks Jameka is going, but this way, he could have campaigned hard for it to happen to ensure that D&D don't change their mind. Thereby assuring his saftey in the house knowing his ever faithful "little puppy" Jess would stay by his side and would never sell him out to D&D.
btw, I think he's losing comps on purpose too. That was way too phoney with him slipping as many times as he did in the HOH comp. And in the veto one, had he really been that dizzy, he wouldn't have been laughing like he was as he "stumbled" to the board. Trust me, I know about dizziness, and it is NOT funny.

Do you think that Eric doesn't know who America Chose?

I think he has thrown comps...Especially the one with Janie....
Do you think he will win the fast forward HOH tomorrow....To change up the show>

another btw..lol. I also think that Jess is playing him as well as he is playing her. Though he's playing her as strategy to get him through the game. She's playing him cause she's too lazy to play the game herself.
And IF, there really is any "love" there, I'd say it has to be more feelings on Eric's side than on Jess. I loved the person who said something to the lines of if Jess gets married, she'd be laying staring at the ceiling while her husband had sex. That made me LMAO!
However, even if Eric is feeling something for Jess, I'd say it's more his hormones than true feelings. I think since his relationship on the outside has been an on again/off again one for 4 years, he will end up going back to her at some point once he gets out of the bb/sequester house. I mean, come on....4 years of on/off again? Gotta be some reason he has put up with it all that time. Most people would have gone about their way after the first couple breakups.

anon 1:56, yes, by now Eric does know who we voted for him to evict. But when he cried the tears in the diary room, that was BEFORE the vote, so no, at that time he didn't know.

Do you think by the way he said to Jameka that his vote wsas foor Jess to stay, he knew they want Jameka out>
I really want Jess out. She really hasn't played the game at all.
I know the Crying was a ploy..But you are right that he knew dani wasn't going to use the veto so he had to be emotional in all DR sessions.

anon 1:56 not sure if he will win tomorrow. Still wondering about that. I think it would prove he's thrown all the other comps if he does win. Yet, I don't think it's fixed if he does win. That would be cheating on the part of the producers and I think could get them in a lot of legal trouble, like it did a LONG time ago with games shows being caught cheating. (forgot the year that happened or who all was involved, but since then theres a lot of legal stuff involved with these types of shows now)
JR
PS..will post about the eviction in a minute. trying to get my thoughts together and then having to go thru the word scramble twice takes me a bit of time, lol

Anon 2:10. I was a bit confused on who I felt America ended up voting for. I too am hoping for Jess to leave. With Eric telling Jameka that he's voting to save Jess, makes me think in a way that the vote is for him to evict Jess. But with him THINKING D&D are evicting Jameka, he probably feels the vote will be to evict Jameka by 2 to 1. The 2 being D&D and the 1 being his or rather our vote. He'll be planning on telling Jess the single vote (Ours/his) was one of the D's that voted against her.
But I think he'll be shocked to find that all 3 votes are for Jess.
Earlier I thought for sure we voted for him to evict Jameka and that's why he told Jam that he was voting against her. But now I'm thinking it truly is Jess and Eric really does think Jess will still be safe with a 2 to 1 against Jameka.

JR, your comment about dizziness struck a chord with me, as well. For anyone who suffers from any type of inner ear affliction, or anything that causes excessive dizziness, it is NEVER funny.

I sat and watched them spin in the pink chair, and, once again, thought to myself "I could never do that!!"

(Live in the BB house, as well as sit and spin!! lol)

Hey Gals & Guys...

Found this article over on Jokers. It talks about how season 1 on BB was. I had watched that season and remember how different it was, but this article reminded me of a few things I had forgotten. Just thought someone might get a kick out of seeing the difference... :)

I am not surprised that Janelle finds Dick attractive... I think she could easily go for that "bad boy" thing, to which most women can be drawn at some point in their lives.

I miss Janey! I miss have true characters with personality on the show.

AnybodybutHillary, I know that just made you sick, but it is true!

Deanna, thanks for that link to the article about season 1. I use to watch the live feeds all the time that season. Of course, it was free then. Reading the names though, for the life of me I can't remember all of them. William Collins was the black man better known as Will Mega wasn't he? Or am I thinking of another house guest/another season?
I loved George and Eddie. Karen got on my nerves so bad once she started talking about her bad marriage. Don't know why, but makes me think of Amber from this season...lol.
I can't really remember many of the others. I sort of recall Britney. Thinking she was like the youngest one. Does the cbs website have pictures of all the hg's from all the seasons? Would love to see them all. (And maybe I should stop being a Jessica, and go look at the cbs website myself...or ya think Eric would do it for me? lol)
I seem to recall that the purpose of the show that year was to see how everyone could survive living in one house as a "community" more or less, and that we were supposed to vote out those we felt weren't being a benefit to that "community". Of course, we soon learned it turned into a popularity contest instead.

Night all!

I'm sorry to hear that Janelle has a thing for abusive men. Sad, to say the least.

I agree with Janelle. When Dick is being funny, trying to be Dad, or talking to the camera he displays qualities that I find charasmatic, attractive even. Physically, he's got a great face, especially his eyes and quick smile. It makes me want to think that's what he's really like, that the other stuff is game or BS, or that he's been hurt in life or something that borders on an excuse for the other behaviors.
Of course, I'm old enough to know that isn't true, all we've seen combined gives me a "Danger, Will Robinson, Danger" moment, but I can see where Janelle is coming from.

I'm rooting for Dick and Daniele because they've played a good game.
Zach blew it for me by not realizing what he could do with HOH. Eric became obnoxious. Jessica didn't do a thing for herself since being nominated, so she lost me. Jameka hasn't done a thing, and hasn't shown she understands what is happening around her for most of the game.

I agree with your post Anonymous 12:24 am.

Janelle is just so alive and has opinions and laughs and is a presence. It is amazing to me that in a metro area that created the TV/Movie Industry, these hgs were the best chosen to entertain us this summer. Janelle is the girl, and I am not taking anything away from her personality and "IT" factor to BB fans, but geeez, she can't be the only one in the whole country. Why didn't we get a Janelle contender this season, too? And no, Daniele isn't even close. In fact, she suffers in comparision to Janele's upbeat personna. Sue

On the ET site they said Janelle kissed Madonna where? I mean when? Was that Janelle? Anybody got a link to that?

re: Zach not realizing what he could do with HOH --
-- not true. I think he saw an opportunity to get in better with one of the pairs, pit them against each other, and hopefully survive the next eviction, which would put him in the final 4. If he had put up one of each pair, he'd have what's left of both pairs gunning for him on the next eviction FOR SURE. Plus, by putting up one member of a pair with Jameka, he can possibly dodge a bullet with Eric next eviction if he spins it right -- that is, by saying "hey, I wanted Jameka gone, and I had to put up somebody next to her... but I didn't have a vote, D&D screwed you over". I think Zach did the best thing possible for himself with his HOH, now he just has to wait and see if it pans out.

Janey sux!
She doesn't have a personality unless it is a fake one.

HI I love you-

I'll jump on Season One Memory Band Wagon. The first nominee was angry to be nominated. She said, Why don't you like me?, that sort of thing. And Britney had multi colored hair and ..gasp...colored it during the show. She liked various guys on the show. I have a classic statement from her that I used for a long time whenever it seemed to fit a situation. Not so funny since no one else I knew watched the show and missed the reference completely! Men in the house were fibbing to Britney and one of them had just fed her some line, she responded by saying, "Do I believe you because you are telling the truth or do I believe you because i want to believe you". Can't make up good lines like that. Season One wasn't watched much, but we on the boards had lots of fun watching a show that was bringing a whole new concept to TV. We were left hanging when it was over, wondering if Karen and husband split up, if George's family were supportive of him. What color Britney's hair was currently. Sue

I've always said Janelle was a bad big brother player with a rubber stamp personality. She wasn't fun to watch...she wasn't entertaining...she wasn't a nice person...she just was awful.

I will never understand what people see in her. I see slugs I'd rather watch.
