'Big Brother 8' - Quickie Screencap Live Feeds Update

These are a few screen caps I just took -- first Daniele is sitting moping, then a quad cam view as she looks in the refrigerator and the rest of the house sleeps. We went from Dick being up spitting, smoking, cooking, cleaning, and ranting to Daniele being up acting like she's moping.

Dick is more interesting to watch. At least he talks!

Now it's to Daniele joining Zach out by the pool. Sundays are a bore for them.

I've got nothing good to say about Whinelle. She should have been gone last week but it looks like my ears are stuck having to endure another two weeks of her wwwhhhiiinnniiinnnggg which is just as irritating as Whamber's crying. Maybe when she goes back and reviews the BB8 tapes she will realize how childish and immature she sounds and will adjust her attitude.

Have these wafflers made a decision as to who is going to be evicted this week? I keep reading conflicting stories on different boards. Does anyone know the latest?

I find myself thinking of the hamsters at the oddest times. Like today while mowing my lawn, I thought... Is the grass in the BB backyard real or fake? And who's tending to the topiary? Is there a lawn service working on the yard during indoor lockdown? Or is some producer's kid out there with a push mower?

Things that make you go hmmmm....

So, Jessica's favorite movie turns out to be Mean Girls? That figures.
We got a good eyeful of mean girl when she, Dustin, and Dick were spying on the others that first day before they were announced, and then everyday after while Carol was in the house. The cheerleader thing figures right in there. I'll bet her second favorite movie is Bring It On.
I saw her eyes light up when she thought there was another girlfriend in Eric's life.

Jen and Dani were no match for her, one was crazier and one had a crazy father, so instead she made the lower females her friends. Mean Girls need a following. Eric, I'm hungry...Eric, I'm tired...Eric, you're a great kisser...please.

Ok, that was all tongue-in-cheek, but I do have a feeling she's one of them.

Maybe I won't feel so bad seeing her go after that last posting...but Dani is just as mean as is Dick and Eric. I guess the nicest people left in the house are Jam and Zach.

I think you're pretty close of your assessment of Jessica. She was so catty and immature towards Carol over $5 in hs that I disliked her immediately...not to mention that cartoon voice. Carol seemed like the bigger person but then we didn't get to see much of her. I think Jess can be sugary sweet when everything is going her way, but when she doesn't get what she wants can be a "mean girl". She will come unglued if she's evicted.

Some random thoughts....
CBS seems to have created their own mess this BB8 season by:

1. Conducting poor psych evals.
2. Not admonishing HGs for questionable behavior/comments when they first occurred.
3. Using the concept of America's Player.
4. Permitting Allison Grodner to produce.
5. Refusing press interviews with evicted HGs.
6. Your opinion goes here.

Controversy = ratings = bad PR sometimes (as in this case, and possibly in the upcoming Kid Nation reality show).

If there is to be a BB9, maybe CBS should consider eliminating live feeds next year. How much money does the network make from people signing up for live feeds anyway?
That way, the only view of BB that viewers would have would be the heavily edited version we would get on the Tue, Thur and Sunday nights shows. The controversy would be limited to back stabbing by alliance members, NOT homophobic, racial, mysogynist, religious or incestuous comments. But that would ruin the curiosity factor the public has of eavesdropping 24/7 into the lives of people stuck in a house for three months with nothing to do but open their mouths and insert feet. Oh the dilemma for next year's producer (if there will even be one.....)

X-Tina, meant to tell you on your last post...I love that you came up with Whinele. Classic!

Celmentine -- as far as I know the grass is like astroturf, ie: somewhat plastic, which means that DIck's lugies (sp?) have notwhere natural to dissapate into.... I'm aamzed none of the HG's have complained baotu it so far. It's not like it rains in LA and it washes way. AUUUUUGH

I love Dick's playing of this game and truly hope he wins it because IMO, he's played the game the best of all of them. BUT, I'm so glad he doesn't live next door to me. Lugies that never go away......EEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!

Jess is a mean girl? That's rich. Is this coming from someone who thinks Dick's behavior is just strategy and all in good fun?

This season of Big Brother reminds me of something...

Remember when we were all young and went out all the time and had loads of fun? Then we got older, married, had kids and the nights out became few and far between. Occasionally something huge comes up that you CANNOT WAIT for...a wedding, a class reunion, a Christmas party. You wait and plan and look forward to it for weeks or even months. Then the day finally comes and you're tired, your hair won't do what you want...that dress/suit you were planning on wearing doesn't fit like you expected. You get to the event and the band/music stinks, nobody you enjoy seeing is there, you get into an argument with your date/husband/wife.

Then dinner comes and it's pretty good! The people you're sitting with are funny and you're enjoying talking to them.

After dinner, things get boring again and you basically can't wait to just go home and sleep!

This season of BB is like that for me. I looked forward to it for months. Then it started and I went Hmmmmmm. Things picked up a bit and got interesting for a few weeks, but it's back to being boring and predictable. I'm ready for it to be over! Is it time to go home yet?

I'm watching the show and I remember back a few days ago where Zach was complaining to Dick and Dani that Eric didn't say thank you when he wasn't nominated and the TRUTH is that ERIC was the only one who said thank. Funny how history gets rewritten when it's convenient.
