LovintheRoofus here as well. I rescued a feral kitty when she was 6 weeks old and love her to death. She still has some of those instincts that alley cats do, but she is a joy and very protective. She's grown out of the clawing and destroying furniture phase now at 6 years old. A good ole cardboard scratch box did the trick.

I wouldn't recommend trying to tame a wild cat beyond the kitten stage for anyone who's thinking about it. As Jackie said in the earlier post, I'm not sure they would adapt well to being a house cat. Mine has though, and she has a much better life than she would have had if I hadn't brought her home with me. She probably wouldn't even be alive today.

I love the Rufus stories! Keep 'em coming.

Jackie, I see a children's book in your future about Rufus. Your photos could be made into the illustrations. Remember me when you go to print!!! IMAO

Love the Roofus updates! It's so sad to think of all the homeless and feral cats out there in the world. That's why we have three cats now, instead of the two intended ones. Somebody dropped a tiny one at our door last November and how could we abandon her? She is a laugh and a half, she makes us smile every day.

I sure like the idea of a book about Roofus,Jackie, you would be a natural! To think we knew ye when..lol.

Welcome back,Zoetawny! Hope those fires continue to be kept at bay and you will be a pro at that new 'puter before you know it.

Roofus the Cat would be a great story Jackie. Get it written before BB9 starts. Smile.

Jackie, don't know where to talk about these shows, so I pick these posts as my venue... thanks...

OK...who watched Damages (Glen Close). One of the most intriguing story lines ever and next season looks as good. If you didn't watch it, get the series before next season and watch it. All you who like Criminal Minds will love this too.

Speaking of Criminal Minds. It's just as good without Potamkin. I was between the father and the son as to who was the abuser. For it to have come down to the Aunt being the one who took the girl... another startling finish. These writers are phenomenal!

And then there's "Life". OK storyline, but I'm more into the clues for "Who Framed Crews"! Now it appears the ex-partner is involved. Follow the money was the clue this week. This must be why he's so "helpful" to Crews for everything. Feeling guilty perchance?

Comments anyone?

To Sydney (who's still on her honeymoon) Dexter is getting more weird than usual if that's possible.

Criminal Minds hasn't missed a beat being intriguing even though Mandy Patinkin(sp?)is gone. I tape it and watch Grey's offspring Private Practice which is also turning out to be good.

Joe Mantegna is joining Criminal Minds this week, replacing Mandy Patinkin. He is an old-school style agent coming out of retirment to join the team.

gayle...I started watching Private Practice, but haven't seen the last couple of episodes. I still have them taped and saved if I decide to get back into it.

delee...Joe Mantegna will add to the group of Criminal Minds as long as he doesn't come in as a "know it all". I love the way this group just works together without arguing.
