'Survivor 15: China' - 11/01 Show - East Coast Updates

The show has started here on the East Coast. I'll be updating this post with important events as they air, so please return here for the news. As always, comments are welcome! My full review of tonight's episode will be on TV Squad later tonight.

UPDATE -- James found the second hidden idol. Alas, Jaime just peeked in his bag and found both hidden idols. Uh-oh.

UPDATE -- Merge is on, black buffs, will use Fei Long camp, feast and Chinese cultural performances

UPDATE -- Frosti won the first individual Immuniy.

UPDATE -- Bwahahaha! Jaime pulled out the blank plaque thinking it was the hidden Immunity Idol -- she got voted off.

My Survivor review for TV Squad should be up at this link around midnight. I apologize for the delay, but it was out of my hands.

Yes! James has the second idol!

That is soooo low down of Jaime to be snooping through James' stuff!! So wrong. I'm not sure this is part of outwit, outlast or outplay. I don't like her!!!

Jaime went through James bag and found both idols! Can they steal someone else's idol(s)? Is that allowed?

do not like jamie

I wonder, did she just leave them in his bag without seeing the writing on the back? Maybe she and Erik think just having the knowledge that he has them, is enough leverage for future plans? In that case, they wouldn't know yet that the one they have is useless. Man, I hope so.

I hope James will be smart and check his stuff and make sure he still has both idols. Maybe he will because of the merge. I know I wouldn't let my stuff out of sight if I had both idols.

If the Survivor God's are kind, Jaime will go home tonight!

Haven't seen the show...did Jaime take one of the idols??? I don't think that's allowed!!! Is one blank and one has writing??

joy n said...

Thank the gods above Frosti won it and not Jaime!

They cut to commercial so we don't know if she took one or not. I'd say not, but who knows?

I hope Jaime goes and she doesn't have one of James' idol. It would be kind of amusing if she pulled out the wrong board to save her butt. I know, I'm so mean.

YES YES YES, omg Jaime! :P

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!! Jaime is first embarassed and then her dumb butt is sent packing. KARMA! Could it get any better?

pickles said...

Thank goodness she is gone. You know the saying about karma!!! That was for throwing the immunity challage 2 weeks ago. I feel better now.

Oh yeah, I did snicker a little about the wrong immunity idol. ;)

That was so hysterical...Jamie you dummy!!! I can not believe how smug she was when she pulled out the so-called idol and Jeff threw it in the fire....IMAO

joy n said...

Jeff throwing it in the fire was the best part, Delee!

Joy N agree agree agree..."This is not the immunity idol" and frisbee's it into the fire...I needed a good chuckle and karma Baby!!!!

I could not believe Jaime saying in her parting words that she trusted James and he was not an honest person.
This from the mouth of a girl who went through James' belongings without his knowledge and snickered her way through throwing a challenge.
Yeah, right Jamie, James is the bad person and like you said you are too nice to do well at survivor. What a crock!
Every heard that you reap what you sow.
Don't let the door hit you in the butt as you're leaving.
I certainly hope your good honest friend PG joins you soon.

Did I hear her right? Did Jamie say at the end that she was just too nice to play Survivor? Sue

This was a very satisfying episode. Nice? This girl lives in a dream world somewhere.

One of the best Survivor moments ever, Jeff playing Frisbee with the "immunity idol". Even knowing it was coming I was laughing my butt off when it happened.

Great episode last night! I almost pee'd my pants laughing at Jaime. Yes, I'm a terrible person, but she deserved it after the way she threw that immunity challenge. If all goes well PG should be out next, but things often have a way of not going so well in Survivor. The previews for next week made me really nervous. It looks like Todd wants to turn on James.

What I'm happy about is that Eric and probably PG both now think that the one James has isn't an idol. (I don't know if they knew he had two of them.) So they don't realize that he really is safe if they try to vote him out.

Who owns them now that they've merged?

And what's all the talk about Courtney being so skinny (which she absolutely is), but did you look at Todd sitting there with her last night... he's almost as thin as she is. Thank God they all got to eat last night.

RBennie said...

I agree with you MEB, Todd is almost as frail as Courtney. I think we'll be seeing a lot of food rewards just to make sure these two don't become the first Survivor casualties.

Is it just me,or do they seem to have quite a bit of food this time anyway? Nothing like the one in Guatamala where most of them looked like skeletons. Not too much talk about them being overly hungry this time.

It was so satisfying to watch Jamie make her "power play" and have Jeff throw her salvation into the fire!!! Paybacks are hell,eh,Jamie? I thought James(and I) would fall off our seats with glee when that happened. And I could not believe that PG was standing there wondering if James was "with" them or not. Now,you had just thrown a comp and voted his buddy off and made it clear he was next and you think he is on your side? How delusional are you, girl?I'd be happy if she's the next one to go,but that means John-Robert had better start keeping his mouth shut or they will all hate him. I sure hope the promos for next week are leading us down a false path and James is not in jeopardy.

Was it just me or did everyone else get a kick out of watching James laugh at Jamie??? James is my fav..

RBennie said...

James is my favorite too. Unfortunately, I don't think he has any chance of winning. He's just too much of a threat for the others to keep around much longer. If the other Fei Long members stick to the plan and get rid of PG, Eric and Frosty before they start picking each other off then he has a good chance since he's holding 2 immunity idols, but I doubt they will stay together that long. I can't recall any season of survivor when an alliance stayed true to the very end.

Read your review of last night's Survivor. Loved it! I noticed you had one commenter (Smiley) who made some very unkind remarks about your re-cap and said he would be looking for another blogger. Guess he must be a Jaime fan.

Well, just so you know, I think every word you wrote was right on. The majority of us read your blogs because we value your take on the shows we watch. It would be very boring to only hear the exact same things we see for ourselves on each show. So screw Smiley. Let him go somewhwere else to hear only what he wants to hear.

I found this blog and stuck with it because I (and many others) think you're the best at it and have a great bunch of loyal commenters who come back almost daily just to see what's new and what you have to say about it.

Just wanted you to know.

P,S. I would have left that last comment on TVSQUAD, but my comments never get through, so I left it here instead.

The second season Colby and the woman who won kept their alliance to the end. Colby passed up the chance to vote her out, even though he knew she would beat him in the final vote.

Just read the full review on TV Squad. I'm still laughing at your comment..."no good bag peepin' Jaime". I was appalled that she stooped so low. Guess there really is such a thing as Karma. The look on her face when she tried to play the bogus idol was priceless. I loved how JP threw it into the fire. LOL That was the best part of the show. Wish I could find an image of her face and make a graphic to share with you.

monty924...the Survivor gods were kind. :))

Sue...

Jaime really did say that, didn't she? My jaw must have dropped when I heard that one. She either needs a reality check or she covered up for being booted off.

RBennie said...

Becky, I did remember Colby and Tina, my point was more about one tribe sticking together until they got rid of everyone from the opposing tribe. There have been several successful 2-man alliances that have made it to the end.
