My dh was happy to find out Chikeezie was voted out. He kept saying he reminded him of Ruben. May I note that my dh always likes only the girls. ;)

Too bad... somebody had to go. They all really have talent and it'll only get tougher and tougher to see them leave.

poor chikezie, he was great with "She's a woman", that was his thing, but his ballads are not as good!! It was definitely all about that song choice

oh and Nat should put up James and Johshuah since they can't both win POV and maybe James won't win it or Nat should not risk that, put up james like the rest of the house will tell her too, try for POV herself with help of alliance members: adam ryan and shiela, take the pawn off and replace with backdoor Joshuah, then one has to go home
But prob. won't happen, james will win pov as usual

I wasn't surprised that Chickezie went home, his performance bordered on "cheesy",as Simon said. But I thought maybe it would be Jason, but those little teen girls must be voting for him.All I can say is,Kristy better keep finding herself some patriotic country songs to sing or her butt is gone. She cannot sing an entire song and stay on pitch. I was surprised that Syesha was in the bottom three,I thought she's done well.BUT,I simply LOVE David Cook,he rocks! And I agree with Simon,"Archie's" choice of songs make you go hmmmmm.Wake up,little A,or your Daddy will get you sent home!

I agree with Paula when she said David could sing the phone book and still win.

Jason was funny when talking to Seacrest and going on and on about how he just knew he was going to be in the lowest scored and in the middle of his explaining Ryan said "you're safe" and he just almost buckled. Too cute.

Just taking a moment to praise Jackie, this site and her commentors. I follow all the American Idol stuff on USA Today's Idol Chatter and those are some of the most mean spirited people around. They've spent the last two days bashing Kristy Lee Cook. And not just her performance, they've been taking personal pot shots at her. It's always so nice to come on here and see intelligent, well thought out, respectful comments about whatever the topic of the day is. So everyone give yourselves a pat on the back for being adults and making the analysis of TV shows a pleasure on this site. As always, it's a blast.

Also, just out of curiosity....who is everyone rooting for to win this year? I'm voting Brooke White, my roommate is for Carly and our friend who comes over every week for Idol is for David A. My least favorites left in the competition are Syesha and Ramiele (not based on talent, just on personal preference).

I want Jason Castro to go....he gives me the creeps

Oh but dried etc... Jason's eyes... they are so beautiful. I could drown in them. And I think he can sing ok, he really does pick stupid songs. He probably will be one of the next to go.

I thought Carly blew everybody away, but none of the judges agreed with me. Of course I love Total Eclipse of the Heart and I thought she did it better than the original. At least I understood every word she said.

Favorites are David A., Carly, Brooke, David C. and one more, can't remember his name. It's difficult to watch them leave when you like them.
