Big Brother 9: Live Feeds Into Sunday Morning 3/30

jackie's tv blog, Big Brother, BB9

Yes, it's a new version of the bible! Forget the Old Testament and St. James, it's Natalie's Bible! Thanks go out to graphic artist Zoetawny, of course.

I guess the BB9 house is a lot warmer than it is around here. We had temperatures down near the teens last night. Brr. And they say it's spring?

I left you early yesterday evening with BB playing pranks on the houseguests. Joshuah seemed to either be the target or just perhaps first discovered masked faces in the mirror/windows lining the walls and a plastic rat in the icebox. He's the one I see most often going for the icebox, so it wasn't surprising he discovered the rat. Well, it was surprising to him.

Here's the latest from that Big Brother House of Pimp My Prank:
  • Sheila got sprayed with the sink hose in the kitchen. BB prank or fellow houseguest work, I don't know.
  • Natalie and Sheila think a picture of Allison would really freak out Joshuah.
  • Sheila heard strange voices. (In her mind or was it another prank?)
  • Sheila said her boyfriend (?) George and her son will beat up James at the wrap party. (Oh, come on! Sheesh! If you sign to go on the show, you have to know people are going to say and do things you don't like!)
  • At one point, an image of one of the guinea pigs showed on their plasma screen in the living room. The plasma screen usually shows a fireplace, BB announcements like "Nominations Today" and such, and is used during live shows so they can see Julie Chen.
  • Ryan nixes the Soy Sauce Slop.
  • The feeds were blocked for a while. When they returned, Sharon was going on about what happened to her fur-iends.
  • Supposedly it was the guinea pigs doing all the pranks on the house for April Fool's Day. (Yeah, it sounds lame. I had nothing to do with it!)
  • Joshuah and Sharon talked about how scripted things are with BB making things happen.
  • The Girls Alliance grows stronger as the boys play pool and always exclude them.
  • James, Joshuah, and Adam toilet-papered Sheila's room.
  • As they wait for her to discover it, Sheila complained to Natalie about all the pranks they've pulled on her. They are not allowed to flour her! Or spray her with water! (Gremlins must not be fed flour and never get them wet after midnight!)
  • Chelsia's bad behavior is still a major topic in the house.
  • Sheila discovers her room TP'd and thinks her bed is broken. The bed isn't broken -- the boys just switched the mattress on it.
  • Natalie thought Sheila's room bit was funny.
  • Sheila didn't.
  • Joshuah made floury hand prints on the refrigerator to annoy Sheila.
  • Ryan and the boys plan to keep waking up Sheila during the night banging on pans. (How original, eh?)
  • Adam doesn't think it's a good idea and Joshuah doesn't want to do it if he's the only one doing it.
  • They decided to postpone the wake-ups until tomorrow.
  • Joshuah asked Adam how it looks for him. Adam was evasive.
  • Adam and Ryan laughed about how Joshuah will break down when he gets evicted.
  • Adam allegedly was in prison in France for three months. I didn't get the background to that story.
  • James and Josh went ahead and woke up Sheila by banging pots and pans. She covered her head with the blankets and pillow until they went away.
  • Joshuah told James he needs to vote to keep him in the house because he's a target and it diffuses the target on James.
  • Joshuah says he brought Sharon back and now he'll leave because of her. (Well, if he thinks about it, it's because of himself.)
  • James was up until the wee hours once again roaming the house. He exercised, snacked, and wandered aimlessly.
  • As the HG slept, it sounds like there's a duck in the backyard. They're all still asleep as I post this.

Sheila said her b/f and son will beat James up? LOL ... That's Sheila, never taking care of business herself but always looking for someone else to take care of her. She's a single mom you know. Argh!! Didn't she have an epiphany a few weeks ago about needing to take care of herself and stop leaning on others? Guess she forgot that.

Love the graphic of Natalie's Bible. I wonder how many commandments there are? 7? 8? 6? Wonder if there's a Gospel according to Natalie in the New testament. I could wonder things about this bible all day long.

Thanks for watching this show for us, Jackie, and for presenting it to us in such an entertaining way.

YAY! A new post and a new graphic from Zoetawny... what more could I ask for. I feel like a little puppy waiting for the next treat and when it comes I get so excited!

I hope the girls stay with their alliance... it would be down to 3/3if Josh is evicted. Then game would be on as to HOH, etc.

Zoe... that is such a good graphic. You know... Natalie is actually sort of pretty when she's all covered up and doesn't look trashy.

I had heard one of the current HG's had been in prison outside USA, I wasn't sure who, although it seems by one of Adam's posing photos, I had the impression it may have been him..Well it's hot over here in Texas, I'm headed back to Canada in a few days, Whewwwww humidity factor is horrific over here..Josh is easily terrified it appears, Thanks Jackie for all the hard work you do! Hahahaa my word verification Ehfuevd - Canadian Ehhhhhhh whats up..

The TP'ing was so funny to watch. It was the best night on the feeds I've seen ever, and there has been some funny stuff over the years. I hated going to bed, afraid I would miss something. Great stuff!

Zoetawny, lovin the Natalie's Bible! :)

meb---thinking you are so right on, I was getting the same impression, best picture of natalie so far!
Its cold and drizzly here today in the I.E. but it has been hot...probably not much different wherever they stash the houseguests...poor hamsters getting the blame! not fair!
Zoetawny & jackie awesome!!!

It is hot and humid here. YUCK!!! I have my orange on and while I'm not laughing over the game I did LOL on zoe's latest graphic.

Zoetawny, another great graphic that says it all!

I love that the HGs are driving Sheila up a wall. No one deserves it more.

Maybe Adam was arrested for fondling himself in public. Even France has its limits.

Joy -- I'm dying over that last comment. I think you could have a career in dry humor.

I still have to read back and need to catch up so can't say much. Show is on tonight so I better get on it.

Nancy in Pa-- I read your nice comment, but when you referred to US without including yourself, I wanted to say, NO EXCLUSIONS girl! Some of us comment more than others, some stay here all year, some only comment on some shows, but all are who I was talking to, including YOU :-D

-- I know someone else already said something like this last post, and did a better job at it too--

Thank you. Sydney.

Zoetawny, Nicely done! especially the HOH IX version....I am still smiling at that.

7,8 and now 9. I have to admit I can't wait to hear the vision 10 brings.

Adam said "hash" in response to why he was in prison in France. I have no idea if he was telling the truth, though. It was several months and he talked of the other inmates. Ryan countered the story by saying insulting things about Canadians...especially Canandian border guards who wouldn't let him cross into their country. I don't know if the convo is up on youtube yet, but it might be.

Plainchick- UT lost, yes its really hot and humid, you all have it worse up in Dallas area..

I finally gave in and turned my AC on..I listened to Audio, Shelia's voice is wearing me thin..

I love NASCAR!!

Hi Joyn, this is from the very last comment on the last post but I'm bringing it forward. You said: "Sasha, my opinion is so opposite of yours. Sheila LIKES to think of herself as the victim and tries her hardest to make everyone else believe it."

Believe it or not I agree with most of your disagreement and appreciate your response. :) I totally agree that Sheila presents herself as, and likes being, the victim. I wouldn't argue that one bit. Maybe it was just the bit I saw but what I saw was James really really losing it and I didn't see a whole lot before that. He was turning very red (but not foaming at the mouth). I agree with your analysis of what Sheila does and think you put it very well.

I guess the only thing we disagree on really is that I'm not liking James much even if I discount the Sheila episode. He totally wins it on winning the comps, etc., I just think he's showing himself more and more to be unlikable. I have to say though, that if he makes it to final two, I think he really could win it all. He may make enemies in the house but in the past, the jury often votes for who they think really played the game best, even if they were mad at them at the time. Witness ED. Or maybe that was just that they didn't want to vote for Daniele. Oh well.

Thanks as always, Jackie, for making this a place where it's even fun to disagree. Hmmm, or agree. Just plain fun!

Tom yes, I know UT Lost-- the whole sports bar was pissed. Memphis ran all over them I left when they were down by 19.

Bring on the rain, my head is on fire, and I sure wish I was headed to the mountains-- Tahoe or Colorado, ehhh Canada is OK too :)

Anyone watching the season 2 premiere of The Tudors? If you can get past the sex, and the not so accurate history, the show is hot.

Sheila has a BF??? Which personality is saying that? The one where she goes all psycho, or maybe the one where she's talking, like, totally, dude, surfer girl, or the one she cries all the time, or the one where she bugs her eyes out? If anyone was going to get knocked into next week, it would of been Dick. Snap out of it Sheila you're on a game show!

sydney...thanks for the inclusion!! love to be a part of such a funny (and caring) group of people.

when the girls started to align themselves all i could think of was..its about time! i wondered if they had given any thought to the probable reality that the guys would in no way take them any further in the game then they needed to advance themselves....and they would not go against their "bros" in the house when it got down to choices. not that i am against the guys at all...just seems to be logical game play. these guys have been fairly tight with each other...i can't see that ending. as far as a winner...these people have me flip-flopping in my thoughts as to who is deserving of a win as they flip-flop through their days. seriously, what are the odds of putting 20-something people in a house and struggling to find ONE that you would want to win?

adam can't decide to pick his nose or the contents in his pants....james expects the house to be righteous while he plays the game...ryan sorta walks around smiling at everyone...josh is afraid of his own shadow....sheila..oh my gosh..sheila won't shut up...natalie tells the world EVERYTHING (although i must admit i was a little surprised to see her actually sport some game play)...sharon just seems to sorta sit there all day....who is left? and.....i broke down and looked at the pics on the www of james in all his glory....oh my gosh......are you kidding me? is it some kind of an anomaly? holy crow! am i THAT naive?? i actually had to get on the phone to call my sister....can't get that vision out of my head!

Ok this is what I don't get...if Nat and the girls want to form an alliance then why would she put Sharon up in place of James! They would risk her going home and also have one less vote because being on the block Sharon can't vote. Nat should put up Adam or Ryan and then it wouldn't matter who left but Nat and the girls could control it. It would then be 3 boys and 3 girls left in the house.

On another note, Sydney, was so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Glad you were able to find some comfort here on Jackies blog.

Sasha, after re-reading my post, it sounds like I was disagreeing with everything you said and I really didn't mean for it to come off that way. I should have ended a paragraph sooner somewhere.

I mainly wanted to defend James' actions during that argument with Sheila. Her re-telling of it afterwards was so far-fetched. I'm not crazy about James real-life antics. I know I'd never want to know him outside of that house. I just like his gameplaying better than anyone else's.

I'm sorry if I sounded harsh, I certainly didn't mean to. Sheila and Gnat just drive me up a wall, as anyone can see by reading a lot of my posts. That one was mostly directed at my own distaste for the She-Witch.

All I should have said is my opinion was different because it looked to me as if Sheila was totally egging him on and I didn't blame James for screaming at her.

Sheila I have figured out...she has multiple personalities(3):

Shreika--the one who is confrontational and yelling about everything.

Kimberly(that's what she was going to change her name to when she became a "star")--the miss independent, "I'm not riding on anyone's back"
I'm the one running this game.

Sheila--the single mom, "what did I ever do to deserve being treated so mean" victim.

Sounds like a valid reason to get her out of the house and in a mental hospital!!

Zoe--love the Bible graphic. I'll bet some of the books in it are:

Naughty Natalie
Nasty Natalie
Nice Natalie
Natalia
Clueless Natalie
Motormouth Natalie

What did I miss?

I loved the pranks last night and thought it lightened the mood in the house(except for Sheila).

Tom s- exactly where do you live? Texas or Canada?

Jackie--loved the Pimps on Pranks LOL

meb--I'm like you...checking in every few hours for a new graphic and/or post. When it's there I'm a happy camper. Guess it doesn't take much to please this old broad!!!LOL

Nana, don't forget "The Book of Gnat's Numbers".

Hey Joyn, you didn't sound harsh at all. No worries, none at all. I enjoyed reading your post, truly. It made me think I may have missed the prelude to the whole James/Sheila thing.

That James goes all out in comps, no question. I just liked him better when I actually believed his "I'm going to be honest or when I'm not, it's just BB" attitude in the beginning. To my view, he hasn't really played it that way at all. He's been as childish and vindictive as most which I do think is partly "just BB". I don't care for his acting all righeous and like he's some good sport but doing the "poor me I'm all alone" when it happens to him. LOL, I guess it's that hypocritical thing rearing its head.

I always enjoy reading your posts, Joyn, actually I enjoy reading all the commenters...it's what makes the show better and Jackie's site even better than it already is just with her great writing.

I can see James is playing the game. I think he might be the most dangerous player ever. I don't mean that I think he will harm any of the hgs, just that he will be ruthless without any reservations in winning whether it is a comp or the entire game. He uses a threatening stance...with his legs slightly apart and arms crossed when he is trying to find out what the other side is planning. The intimidation factor is good in this game and we don't see it often.

He makes me sick to my stomach to look at him, though. It must be some personal thing with me. I wanted him to leave this eviction, but also saw the house would have been a bore without him. What I am saying is that I see all of the positives his game playing brings to the house. When I see him, I don't see the goofy bike rider, I see a mean person who wants to hurt others. Obviously he is reminding me of someone...I can't even blame my dislike of him on him. Which, sounds a little like a confusing sentence Natalie might say.

On the other hand, Natalie and all her antics don't bother me. Isn't that strange?! She must not remind me of anyone I don't like. I see her as entertaining, as in what will that silly girl do next. I think most of us choose who to support and who turns our stomach in much the same way. It is a personal thing, because look at all these hgs. None of them have qualities most of the viewers can promote.

And all the examples of why Natalie is on a ride to Hell and James is using his skills to play a good game, don't phase me. Even I can't explain my feelings.

I just think it is interesting to take note of why I choose someone to support and another makes me cringe. Maybe it is the old fashioned melodrama of damsel in distress and the (boo hiss) villian.

That is what I have been thinking. Don't get me wrong the Bible thumping of Team Christ isn't good. And James hasn't done anything dangerous to anyone. But, taking my personal feelings out of it hasn't worked.

Josh is talking Sheila fast and trying to make a plan with Natalie in the back yard right now. She is 100% for him (she says) cross her heart (she says). I'll wait for Jackie to describe it, since she will do a better job of it. I just think it is a pretty complicated plan to have originated with Josh. Did James plan it for him?

There must not be 10 commandments in that bible. Noticed I put "unauthorized copy" on the side of that bible so I didn't get struck down by the power above. ;)

Jackie...

"pimp my prank" has got to be the ultimate coined phrase from you this season. Hysterical! I wish someone would have made a list of all your great ones. There are so many of them that have entertained us all season.

Joshie must be very superstitious because he totally freaked out when he saw the face in the mirror.
He was genuinely terrified... like a 5 year old would be. Or maybe he's terrified about his bad Karma coming back to get him. ROTFL!

Who's going to be evicted this week and will the plan include a back door? With this group of flip floppers we may not know until the live show.

Did you mention "sleet"? YIKES!
Stay safe and warm over there.

Speaking of weather, I've never known anyone living in So. Calif. who had as many bikinis as Gnat. LOL I wonder how much time the house guests have to shop before being wisked away to the BB house after they are notified. They all seem to have plenty of nice clothes to wear on the show. I'd have to shop for new jammies and robe. ;)

Maybe it was hashish that messed up his brain and ability to speak a distinctive sentence. Too many drugs can do that to you. ;)

EXCELLENT post! It is very difficult to analyze why we like or dislike a person. I'm always one for liking the "nice" person (and always trying to be one) and that's why I suck at games. ;)

I'm not sure how to explain it but I just can't like a person who plays the game well, but is mean, nasty and intimidating. Guess I'm not much of a gamer. ;)

OK, off to dinner now. We're having breakfast for dinner because I'm not in the mood to cook. Catch you all after the show.
