BB9 - Live Feeds Into Thursday Morning

jackie's tv blog, Big Brother, BB9

We may have seen Adam win the HOH, but he's not the HOH -- it's the Girls! Although he'll probably put Sharon on the block with James, Sharon isn't the target. Yeah, we know who's running the house this week.

Here are the late night tidbits from that Big Brother Little House of Horrors:
  • Even Sharon is working at Adam, telling him that James would definitely have put him on the block had he won HOH. (Oh, but dear sweet Sharon wouldn't have nominated him, huh?)
  • Adam's mother wrote that his dogs get excited when they hear his voice on TV. Aw.
  • Sharon is trying to distance herself from Joshuah, saying she was sort of stuck with him due to the initial pairing and how he brought her back in the game.
  • Adam and Natalie are sure BB has been pushing for James to stay.
  • Natalie is a bit upset that Joshuah refused to hug her.
  • Natalie told Sheila that since she and Adam voted James back in, it's their responsibility to get him out.
  • Ryan agreed with Adam that James must go this week.
  • Sheila is sure they showed James foaming at the mouth an inch from her face on TV. Well, not an inch really ... and technically no foam. But, yeah.
  • James and Sharon had a good cry together (after she finished campaigning against him).
  • James told Sharon he'd rather be winning POVs and saving himself than winning HOH and sending someone home.
  • They all think there might be a luxury clothes comp this week.
  • When Natalie, Ryan, and Adam started fussing how they think BB favors James, the feeds were blocked.
  • When they returned, they were discussing Julie Chen.
  • Everyone is in bed as I post this except for Adam ... he's roaming and snacking.

"Natalie told Sheila that since she and Adam voted James back in, it's their responsibility to get him out."

Dumb like a fox, this girl. Jackie, how is it that she has essentaily been running this house for weeks now? The only thing that stops her from total dominance is James's skill at winning the POV's...

Morning Jackie, Thanks for posting. I thought James looked a little healthier or something, after his days on slop..or maybe the protein drink. I thought his skin tone was improved. Ryan looked thinner..or more streamlined. Was it just my TV reception? or did anyone else notice it too?

Donna in Alabama said...

Sue, I noticed Ryan's face looked slimmer.

Anonymous said...

Sue I was also noticing last night on BBAD that Ryan looked thinner, he kept rubbing his stomach and checking himself out in the reflective glass windows. LOL
Natalie just scares me, that little girl naive mind in a grown woman's body. I hope James wins POV and then HOH. I would like to see Natalie, Adam and Sheila gone before the end. I used to not care for Ryan because of Jen, but once he sees that she called him a racist on Nat'l TV that relationship will be over.
I'd like to see the look on Adam's face when he finds out how he hurt the Autistic community and has been fired from his job. What a tool!

We'll just have to see if the POV is skewed to one hamster or the other this week.Personally,I hope if James is up on the block,he wins. I love when their plans are thwarted!I am disgusted that Adam is HOH again,he's the one person in there that I do not like at all.I do believe that BB tends to try and throw HOH's and POV's in some of their laps. But even if they try to help Shrieka, she's too dumb to win on her own even with their help. It's probably that she can't stop the voices in her head from talking long enough to hear how to play the game.

If they really want James out, then they have to be smart enough to "backdoor" him,but now even that may be difficult since the numbers have dwindled and he may play and win it still. I think they've missed their chance! JMO

And I thought Julie looked nice last night. I thought she kind of shied away from letting Joshuah hug her,the rest will probably get the memo about not touching her today....lol.

I loved the part at the very end of the show last night where everyone (except James, poor dear) was in the main room talking about the HOH competition...how many things there are, and how many they THOUGHT there were...

and I noticed James wasn't with them.

Then the camera shifted to where James was...he could hear them, he was looking at a wall, kind of half listening to them talk together and he kinda ROLLS his eyes and tilts his head and turns toward the camera.

These people left in the house, who think they are excluding him, BORE him.

I love James, he is awesome.

Here's the memo:
DO NOT TOUCH THE CHEN-BOT...EVER!!!

Good Morning all. Great show last night. So glad it was Josh to go, and wow, how full of himself is he? In his mind he was the toughest competition in the house. His so-called "inspirational" speech was just a bunch of drivel to try to make himself look good. Although I have to say I much preferred his exit to Chelsia's.

Natalie should be sitting pretty this week. You have to give her props for making sure that vote wasn't a tie. She didn't break any promises to anybody and we still can't be sure what alliance she's really in. She did say last night though that she only trusts Ryan. Adam is really starting to grow on me. Once you look past the disgusting habits and freaky eyes, he really strikes me as a genuinely nice guy who is very empathetic to others. He was almost in tears himself when Josh was having his fake breakdown. I felt bad for Adam!

I guess its a given that Adam will put up James and Sharon. There's no point in trying to backdoor James since I believe they will all be playing in the POV comp.

I was thinking about Matt earlier and wondering what he must be thinking about Natalie right about now. I bet he expected to see her follow him to sequester the next week. Imagine his shock if she makes it to final 2.

My hubby walked by while I was watching BB last night about the time Julie was talking to Gnat in the HOH room. He stopped and looked at the TV and turned to me and said "Her voice reminds me of Lamb Chop". ROTFL!

Anonymous said...

James is smart not to want HOH and just to keep winning POV. It will make for a longer stay for him doing it. It just might get him to the end.

I am disappointed to learn Sharon is talking one thing to some and another to James. I was liking her for staying out of all the small talk with so many and trying to be herself as much as possible in the game. I guess I was hoping she would team up with James and they could go out 1&2 in the end.

Have a great day everyone!

RBennie said...

I'm sure James very much wanted to win that HOH. I would think he could use a stress free week without having to worry about getting evicted. He's great at the POV comps, but it is certainly not a given that he will win it.

Anonymous said...

Everybody should be playing in the POV so who hosts it? POV should be physical since last week was mental and so was the HOH. I'm guessing no food comp. this week so it may be the luxury clothes--I hope Nat. can figure out what size she SHOULD wear!!
And don't forget pink for James.

As to Ryan looking slimmer, Sheila told him that yesterday. He weighed himself and said he lost 8-10 lbs. James should look better...all he has done for a week is sleep!

Every year they do a comp. that involves gnomes maybe that's what we will see this week?!

Well, I am conflicted....I'm going out of town for the weekend(line dancing seminar) and will not be able to blog OR know what happened in the POV! I'm excited about the seminar(and not having a dog wake me up at 4:30a.m.)but frustrated about having to wait....after all I am one of those who's here for your updates on the east coast feeds.

Here we go again....Nat. is running the show....James and Sharon on the block with Sheila as the replacement....BORING!!!

Why can't they figure out that James would be the smart one to keep...he will never be voted to win.
The only jury votes he has are Chel. and Josh. I'm not even sure Sharon would vote for him. Matt, Nat., Sheila, Adam, and Ryan will all vote for whichever one is in the F2.

There was no hint from Julie about a surprise so I don't think this will be a double eviction.

Does anybody think there are any "dirty little secrets" left to be revealed?? If so, what?

Time for breakfast...and yes, another beautiful day!

In Survivor and BB both I have noticed that the early-made alliances seem to be the strongest. I can't quote you which did it, but I think it has happened. When the show is over and we know the winner, it often seems like I think "well, that makes sense, they were together from the first and I had over looked that alliance'. (talking to myself, you know.) But if that is a real theory and not something I just made up, then it might hold true in the current BB. Didn't Ryan/Allison, Sheila/Adam and Nat/Mat all share a bedroom from the first. A lot of bonding can go on when that happens. More so than just the undercover stuff, too. I don't remember where Sharon and her ex were that first night. Of those only Mat and Allison are gone, and the others seem to be sticking together. Did Josh talk about why his alliance Ryan didn't vote for him to stay?

Hi everyone!

Happy Thursday! Nana in the NW, I am heading your way today ~ 65 degrees and sunny in Portland OR works for me, especially in April!

Nana, I also completely agree that they are not thinking ahead... James would be the PERFECT partner in the final 2. Personally, I would like to see him win this thing, but "the good people" would certainly vote for their own to win over James.

Curious as to when someone may actually figure that out...

RBennie said...

The only problem with the theory of James being the perfect one to take to the final 2 is that as long as he's still there he is a big threat. Not much help to take him to the final 2 if you're not the one in the final 2 with him. At this point, if James won HOH I don't even know for sure who he would go after. He knows they are all gunning for him. I'm sure each of them thinks he would put them up for eviction, with the possible exception of Sharon.

Sydney said...

Totally agree about all that re: James RBennie!

Have a safe trip dla!

And Nana, you can always do what I do when desperately needing a fix-- find a Kinkos somewhere (if at a hotel, they may have in room internet for $8 -- which they even had a the el-cheap-o Red Roof Inn I was at last week-- or a business center in the lobby) and sign on for a few minutes to Jackie's blog! Clearly, I'm an addict!

I told you guys the other day that I was away for the weekend and my son drank a little and cut his hair into a mohawk. Yes, I have him hooked on BB too. Yesterday, we went and got red hair dye and I dyed it for him. He would not go for the pink, which I could not find anyway. Here's his pic for ya'll to see.
What do you think? LOL

I just finished watching youtube and Gnat talking to the memory wall. Come on BB say something back to her...Too funny!

my word verification reads: godtwsp

I think GOD is talking to Gnat :0

Great comments today!

I think that Natalie (and maybe others) are thinking of the James F2, as a last resort. I think if he continues to save himself, that Nat will see it as a sign (everything happens for a reason) and know that she was intended to win against him. Of course, James may have the same vision. : )

I mentioned before the 'eyes closed body language type of lie detector'. I don't use it in the everyday house for two reasons: everybody lies all the time and who cares what they say, for the most part. But, during last night's show (which I just watched) I saw one that was interesting. Not in game play terms, maybe more about polite lies than anything else. When asked about Sharon, Josh looked into the camera and said I love her, blah blah whatever he said, but on the key word, he closed his eyes. Not a blink. A full close. On the other hand, when Sharon was asked the same thing, she turned to look at Josh and spoke of her affection for him. Her eyes might have blinked, but it was quick. If the eye close thing works, then Sharon really holds Josh as a friend and Josh was just saying the right words in front of the audience.

I think Sharon's breakdown after Josh left was about herself...she had no food for days, she really didn't know what the vote would be, and the relief was just about more than her system could handle. Did anyone notice that of everyone she could ask about the question she misunderstood in HOH comp, it was Ryan she picked to whisper to?

I think watching those two might be the only thing of interest this week. Because, James will either go or stay and we have already seen both events happen.

Anonymous said...

Why put James up? Why let him compete for POV? Why not put up anyone, play POV and put James as replacement nominee if that is what the house wants?

monty924 said...

Anon 1:30, everyone will play for POV with only six left in the house. If James isn't on the block and he wins POV all he has to do is keep the nominations the same. Then one of the "good people" will go home.

PlaidChick said...

Donna-- he looks great!! I like the red :)

I was hoping Adam would grow some that he constantly messes with, and put Sheila on the block, so until James/Sharon are gone, it's going to be boring. Only until "good people" turn on each other will it get good again.

So my request to BB goes:

1. Put the cameras in the sequester house and let us watch. For the last 2 or 3 seasons they do not profile the evicted HG each week. The wait until final 4, then show it in one segment. If you didn't end the show 5 minutes early every episode, you could show us what's going on.

2. It's time for a double eviction, especially if the finale is April 29. How glorious would it be for Natalie and then BOOM Sheila walk out the door in 15 minutes.

The rain you California peepers got is on its way to Texas. Another windy humid day and my head says storms.

Donna in Alabama said...

Isn't this the week they usually do double eviction? Seems like before, I would be thinking two weeks until final four then two would be evicted the same night and we would be at F4.

I hope the storms do not get worse as they move on east. We are supposed to have severe storms Friday afternoon and night here in Alabama.

Donna -- LOVE the red mohawk. Very cool. Also like it with the white shirt with the red neckline... lol, that's the stylist in me. Tell him he gets an A+

And Sue,I totally thought the same thing about James'normal pallor.

Anonymous said...

It is around 1 pm their time and the feeds are showing the food comp. They appear to have to all work together and they are. Sheila is encouraging them all. We don't want to be on slop. It is a huge board and they are on it and are covering it with mashed potatoes or something like that. Very strenuous. They are all panting from the hard labor. I think the board might be tilted. They are definitely serious about their work. Trivia again.

Anonymous said...

Before I ask this please remember I am a senior and have moments of memory loss...please explain how double eviction works??

Last night James/Sharon had an interesting convo. about God. She asked him why he didn't believe and he said he does sometimes. When don't you, Sharon asked....his answer was when I think I can do it all myself, then something happens and I realize I can't and go back to him. Hmmmm...Sounded like a young man struggling to find himself and his way in the world. He also said he would like to win enough money so his sister can go to college. Maybe there is a soft, caring soul inside that hard shell.

Food comp. already??? I thought they might give them a break from slop. James mentioned he might throw the comp. if the whole house was involved to put everyone on slop. He feels a physical comp. coming and thinks Nat. and Ryan don't do well when they've been on slop.

Donna--the good thing about hair is it grows out!! However, he really does look like James!

Donna in Alabama said...

On double eviction night I think they evict one early in the show, then play for HOH. Then bring them back to the living room and tell the new HOH they have to put 2 on the block right then. Then the others vote someone else out and as the show goes off air, they are doing the HOH comp again. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I give my son 2 weeks and he will be ready to cut it off!!

Thank goodness, it is about time to go home!

meb said...

Donna... the hair looks just like James'. Do I like it... uh, no, but no offense to your son... I don't like James hair either. He should have left it blond when Natalie stripped it. It looked a lot better then. But then, his sponsors want it pink as he bikes around, so who am I to say nay!

I think Ryan looks skinny too. He looks better now then he did when he came in.

I wanted to point something out. When Sharon went into the toilet and sat down and cried over Joshua, and then Sheila came in and consoled her, they actually had a camera in the toilet area.

And remember when Jen and Ryan went in and did their thing early on in the show. I'll bet there's a video of that which will surface one of these days. Wonder if Ryan would want to sell that on eBay?

I just think that's wrong that BB can do intrude on their privacy. That's one place I feel should be sacred. But maybe that's just me.

Donna,

The mohawk looks great...(And...sshhhh...it will be pink soon as the color fades!) Don't let your son get the tats though (as if).

Meb,

The camera in the toilet would freak me out...even if they're not filming the tech guys could watch. I don't even like going with the door open...but I guess you have to be a bit of an exhibitionist to want to be on Big Brother.

Anonymous said...

Well, well, well.....if Adam sticks to word and handshake with James(which just happened) he is going to put Sharon and Sheila on the block. Nat. and Ryan have found out and are PISSED!!! Ryan had a screaming match with James and Adam and James cried and hugged about being alone in the game!! Of course, James still needs to win POV because anybody else will take Sheila/Sharon off and then Adam will have to put up James.

Interesting happenings after the food comp. ;0

Nana, it just figures. As soon as I turn them off and have to leave the computer, something actually happens!

As far as gutsy game playing, if Adam really wants James out, then getting the veto and putting him up is the best way to do it. I can even see that it might be the best way. Scary if HOH wants James out, but either way James will play all out for the Veto and either way he will keep himself from leaving. Maybe Sheila would actually try to win a veto, if her life in the house depended on it. Both scenarios are either win/ win or lose/ lose. Adam may have figured that out. But, Adam voted James back in the house and made it clear he wanted him back. so who knows.

You were brave to tint your son's hair and he was brave to let you. :D He's a good looking boy.
Is he getting any unwanted attention with his new "do"?

Read the blog quickly this morning and thought for sure Adam would put James/Sharon up. But, now I'm reading it might be Sheila/Sharon.
I'm not sure who is doing all the manipulating but maybe they could sell Adam a bridge in Brooklyn.

When will POV be held? We're getting close to the wire now and it's a good thing.

The sun is shining brightly here and the temp is 67 degrees at 5:00 P.M. It's supposed to be in the
80's this weekend so the hamsters will be sunbathing again.

Someone should tell Sheila she should put more sunblock on her neck. Her natural wrinkles aren't tanning and it makes her neck look like it has white lines.
Oh, and about Julie's outfit, she still looks like she's dressing for NY (heavy sweater) and not CA, except the shoes. I didn't think the bare strappy sandals matched the outfit. All those insignificant details...am I a Virgo or what? ;)

Sydney...

Hope you're feeling fine and all is good.

Going to go scout around YouTube to see any current life feed videos before it's dinner time.

Thanks for all your insights, Jackie and all!

Please let it happen! Maybe Adam finally decided it's time to play for himself.

monty924 said...

He actually did say as much. He said if they want James out, let them do it! I say A-baller finally grew a backbone. It's really true. Natalie and especially Sheila want him to do their work.

Donna in Alabama said...

Kathryn, Heehee, I know it will fade and be pink...he has a tat but it is a Chinese symbol for "Harmony". I told both sons they could get tats as long as they were not sacreligious or morbid.
Zoe, it wasn't really scary, we have to be individuals and set ourselves apart sometimes. He has gotten alot of stares but no one has been rude. He kinda likes the attention and that's all that matters.
I hope Adam does put up the girls because Natalie will not turn loose of Ryan to completely side with them.
When are nominations? Aren't they usually on Thursdays?

Noms are on Sundays. POV on Tues. and evictions on Thurs, along with the new HOH comp.

----------------
Jen and Ryan had no shame in having sex in the bed, and then got up to go finish up. The video in the stall would last maybe 20 seconds.

-------------------

I won't believe it until I see it/read it that Adam put Sheila and Sharon on the block. Adam is riding Natalie and Ryan's coat tails. If the F3 would be one of them HOH, he would be out first.
