Big Brother 9 - Live Feeds Since Nominations

Adam's certainly not smiling because he was nominated. He's not a happy camper about that at all. But he did put Sheila on the block, so what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Hmmm ... I wonder how that saying came about It is perfect for this situation, no matter how it started.

Here are the happenings since nominations in that Big Brother House of Talky Tinas:
  • Sheila used the term "slim pickins" in her speech. I'm not sure why it's funny to the HG. They are getting down to the point where they have to start picking each other off in the alliances.
  • While Natalie was in the DR, all of the others gathered in the HOH room and talked about needing to get her out of the house, all of them.
  • Sheila told Adam that either he or Ryan HAS to win POV. She really wants to put Natalie on the block this week because Natalie throws everyone under the bus.
  • I think they should start throwing people under the train instead. It's much more efficient.
  • Sheila told Adam that if Natalie wins POV, she'll convince her not to use it. Natalie has said she'd want to save Sharon. Sheila's plan if POV is not used is that Natalie will vote for Sharon, Ryan will vote for Adam (I'm talking to stay, not evict). Then Sheila would break the tie and keep Adam.
  • Sheila doesn't know that Ryan's got a thang goin' on wit' Sharon.
  • They think something might happen tonight, but not a food comp due to the endurance last night.
  • Sharon doesn't like Natalie calling her a mole.
  • But she likes the guinea pigs. Aren't they related to moles?
  • Natalie is getting annoyed that every time she tries to talk to Sheila, someone shows up.
  • Sheila is covering the plans well right now. Let's see if it all lasts. Anyone want to make a wager?
That's the big news for the evening.

Thanks for the updates.

OK, I officially do not understand the rationale behind backdooring Natalie. Why not just frontdoor her and get it over with?

Can someone please explain it to me?

In the old days, backdooring was useful because not everyone got to play in the POV comp. Nowadays, all it does it give a smidgen of advantage to the person being backdoored. Why give her that smidgen?

Why why why?

Who has Natalie "thrown under the bus". I only remember her going after James & Chelsia & Joshua. They were playing as a group and Natalie wasn't the only one who wanted to get rid of them. Ryan, Adam, Sheila all wanted them out. Nat isn't the only one playing everyone. They are all in secret alliances "playing" each other but chastising Nat for doing it.

Okay, I cannot stay awake any longer. They are all still waiting for the POV comp and it looks to be an all-nighter. I can't stay up this night to watch.

I'll catch up tomorrow... if I still have electric. :)

Anon 12:18... my sentiments exactly. I can't understand why Sheila would put up Adam and Sharon, when Ryan and Natalie, her fiercest competitors are right there for the taking. She must not really need the money as much as she says she does.

She's just plain Stupid. Now I'm on pins and needles holding my breath waiting for the announcement of the winner of the POV comp.

Jackie -- I died re: trains. Trains ARE more efficient.

Because Anon 12:18: If you frontdoor Nat, she has a chance to get off the block by winning POV and having all week to do deals. Backdooring essentially removes the possibility of saving yourself, unless you do a few wicked deals in the 24 hours or so you have between nomination and eviction.

They are all doing some things, but some far worse than others. And Natalie plays in a particularly nasty way... Did you see when she spoke to the 2 girls while out suntanning that they have to keep it the girls, then immediately went, completely unprovoked, to tell Adam Sharon said it instead... then went to tell another guy (was it Ryan?) the same? No need.

She's very aggressive in her lies, and again unnecessarily, repeats and repeats lies to whomever she is talking to... with that BIG odd but intense stare in her tiny blue eyes. Like as soon as she and Shelia were done with the HOH comp, she is in the back bedroom with Adam and Ryan, staring at Adam (as if that makes her sincere?... or more intimidating) saying "You're safe, you're safe, you're safe" when we know she'll work for him to go up.

I understand you have to play all angles, especially at this point in the game. We tune in to see it like that. But Adam has not been as aggressive or nasty. Neither has Sharon. Ryan makes quiet deals abd some ppl, like JOsh, came to HIM, not the other way around. We can critisize Ryan for getting Nat to do his dirty work. Or we can criticise her for doing it and not realizing it will bit eher in the end. We can criticise Sharon and Ryan for being non-players but there they are at the end. BUT what' IS true is that not all are using her tactics.

What REALLY makes Natalie seem worse than the rest is her throwing Jesus and God and that justice and how good she is for not doing what James did, etc... around. I am not personally offended from a religious standpoint. She has a right to use anything she wants to get her to the end. But it's a turn off, the icing on the cake as to why ppl don't like her on the boards. Take responsibility for your own choices Nat... don't use God for it all. You're an ant like the rest of us. There's someone having bombs go off over their head gathering her children around her hoping to make it thru the night who needs God's attention a little more than Natalie, IMHO.

She may do something she considers good, but she doesn't let you forget about it, and her self aggrandizement grows about her "goodness" with each repetition as she pierces people with those beady eyes each time. THAT'S what the issue is about Natalie. It's not a prejudice against her for her low self esteem aorund Matt, her BJ's with Adam and Ryan awake and listening in the same room, or announcing her abortions, or the way she had to strip --on the kitchen FLOOR no less -- around the group, or literally hump with Chelsia to be liked and get attention in the early weeks of the show. I thought Chelsia was equally or more nasty or maybe for different reasons. Josh too.

The game would be totally boring to us if people were all like Sharon... but with ppl with nasty backgrounds like James played the game well enough to override that. And people with nasty nasty habits like Adam we can set aside (kinda) because he shows some genuine heart. I can't say either for Natalie, or Chelsia or Josh for that matter. So it's not some vendetta against Natalie.

It's the way it is.

Sydney... don't usually disagree with you, but gotta say that putting Gnat up first at least she's there! If she doesn't win the POV... she's there! If she does win the POV, regardless of whether she's on the block or not, then it's a mute point, but I would want to know she's up there and hope against all hope she doesn't win POV.

jmho... smile

Wow Sydney, you are passionate in your opinions, and I really enjoyed reading them. You pretty much summed it up for me.

Lol Nomad and Laurie. I wondered if you'd think I'd gone postal... just misspelled a few times as usual. Seem extra fumble fingered these days.

True Meb, another good way to go with the dilemma. .

Sydney, Very well said. I had my own little postal episode yesterday. I got some good advice a few minutes later, "Just take a deep breath." which worked for me. But since I'm just getting an board here today, and your post was over 12 hours ago, I guess it's a little late for that.

You made some great points!
