Survivor Review, BB9 Feeds and Stuff

Ryan and Natalie discuss Adam's rather shocking nominations in the BB9 house.

But first ... my Survivor review is up over on TV Squad. And a rather quickie feeds report will be up there soon.

And second ... I'm running a bit behind today because I had an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon after a full day of working. Not good news, not bad news, just inevitable stuff. My knee surgery date is set for May 14th. He told me I will have to go to a rehab hospital (wah) So, I'll be totally out of commission for a couple weeks from mid-May until the beginning of June. BB should be well over by then, but I'm not sure of the Survivor finale. We'll see. Lots to do between now and then.

To the feeds, alas a bit abbreviated because I'm very beat:
  • James thinks Ryan is intimidated by him. Sharon agreed with him. I just don't see it. Gamewise, maybe.
  • They had a food comp -- they had to make mountains of mashed potatoes, then flow gravy down them to win various food groups.
  • Adam cut his finger during the food comp.
  • They all have real food for the week but missed out on soda and beer.
  • James worked on Adam to not go on the block. He pointed out that he has never lied to Adam, nor has he done anything against him in the game.
  • Natalie looked for signs from God.
  • Ryan vehemently wants James out this week.
  • The DR doesn't seem to go with that. Slips before they blocked had Adam saying that he felt pressured by the DR not to nominate James this week.
  • Since nominations, Ryan has been at Adam telling him Sheila had his back, he had his back ... big guilt trip. He had Adam saying he really screwed up this week.
  • But then when Adam talked to James and Sharon, he had a different attitude.
  • Sheila is freaking. Too bad, so sad. Earlier in the day she said she promised Allison Grodner she's stop cussing. She blew that promise!
  • Natalie, taking it the best of the three, told Adam he should just align with Sharon and James -- Ryan isn't about to forgive him.
  • Sharon told James that Natalie said she'd keep her over Sheila. Hmmm.
Tomorrow, I'll be back in gear.

It's possible James could very well be backdoored, if POV consists of HG's Eliminating/Blocking out one another, similar to season 6, in which James was continuously blocked, thus eventually evicted.
If indeed Adam was pressured by Production, it's possible they'd like to see remaining HG's finally battle for POV, I don't believe James would win POV if it's a Hollywood Squares type POV, besides didn't James agree to throw POV if Adam didn't nominate him?

James promised not to use it, but he will try to win it. He's not throwing the POV comp or he's a goner. But if he doesn't use it, it saves Adam from nominating Ryan or Natalie in Sharon's place.

Jackie, again, I wish you all the best with your upcoming surgery. Man, are we going to miss you around here! But stay out as long as you need to and get that knee working right again. Maybe we'll just keep adding comments to whatever your last post is. It'll probably be a mile and a half long by the time you get back! LOL!!!

You have been a part of my everyday life for awhile now and you will be sorely (pun intended) missed. I'm know that you will be in all our prayers.

Well, we've still got you for awhile, anyway.

I hope James lied to Adam when he said if he won POV he wouldn't use it. I want him to win it and then take Sharon off the block at which point, Adam cannot nominate him. Adam will then have to nominate either Ryan or Gnat and (crossing my fingers) Sheila will go home. Personally, even if James doesn't win the POV, I would vote for Sheila anyway. That woman gets on my nerves and I'm not around her 24/7. I can't imagine how the HG's can take being in the same house with her every minute of every day for weeks on end.

Up until now, I haven't really been rooting for anyone but after hearing about Gnat telling Adam that God won't protect him because he didn't put James on the block and that Matt would kick his ass in the sequester house, I can't root for her. Plus there the BJ's and the strip teases and all that other stuff she's done.

I can't root for Ryan cause he's sort of a non-entity, you know, he never does anything, he's just kind of there...like the sofa.

I can't root for Sheila cause she IS a lying two-faced bitch who never shuts up.

I can't root for Adam cause of the whole can't stand to look at him with his hands down his pants or up his nose thing.

I can kind of root for Sharon but she's like a chair next to Ryan the sofa. She never really does anything evcept agree with whomever she's talking to.

Thus I am stuck with James. Yeah, he got in Sheils's face but at least he didn't say anything that wasn't true. Yeah he backdoored Mattie but then Mattie lied to him first, several times in fact. All Mattie had to do was say I voted for the Mystery Person to return cause I thought it was going to be Alex. I had to vote for him cause he was my best friend in the house. And yeah, he lied to Natalie when he told her that he wouldn't put her and Mattie up on the block...oh Wait, he didn't put them on the block, he backdoored Mattie. If Mattie had wanted to stay so bad, he should have tried a little harder to win the POV. But Mattie was too busy riding Natalie's coat-tails...after all isn't that what he usually does...Ride a woman's coat-tails while he sits around and denegrates her behind her back to his bros. (He bragged that he was once a pimp and well, that's certainly something to be proud of, isn't it?) I'm glad James Backdoored him.

Sorry to ramble but that's why I'm rooting for James. He tries the hardest and he has it the worst out of all of them. He has no allies. No one to even talk to in that house and they are all gunning for him.

Jackie, I am sending you good wishes. You are strong enough to handle it all...I bet you already have your lists made with sub notes on each subject. Smile and hugs.

The only priority is your health and well being. We will try to play nice and talk amongst ourselves for the duration. Unless you want to close it down. I know we'll all understand whatever you do. Just know that you have a wealth of invisible vibes coming your way. And have a mass email list going for when you want us back!

Storms in Arkansas last night. All we had at our place, was a lot of rain and lightening and straight winds. There is no place for the rain to go, we have had so much over the last few days. We are okay, but waiting for dawn to see how everything looks outside.
***
James worked it all day yesterday. He realized (especially after Julie pointed it out to him) that Adam was a sucker for tears. James took that info and ran with it...or rather cried with it. With the desired results.

Natalie, seeing the change to her plans, worked it as well. She made the necessary adjustments since she understood that she had to regain control of Adam. Even as she wants to pummel him. She was masterful in her fancy footwork. She said every word she was thinking to Adam, took her towel off and hugged him, gave him a bright smile, and began doing clean up by not excluding him and by making him feel loved. He basked in her smile. It was a joy to watch from a game playing way. Also it was a lesson to all who watched in how to handle a sticky situation when a loved one/co-worker messes up. Hate the sin, love the sinner type thought. Adam for his part was contrite, 'I am a moron', Adam said. If his noms were truly his own and not bullying from DR and James (as they appear to be) then his allowing Nat to console him was also masterful. If the above is true, then he was feeling used and very low. Sheila was sweet to him, told him she saw the bigger picture in that he was ultimately trying to help her and she appreciated his love and support. I'd like to eye roll at that, but I agree with it too much.

That convo took place in the massage/sauna room during Showtime.

I wasn't buying what they were selling, but I enjoyed watching it. I like to see stage productions that are well crafted.

James and Nat both stepped up their game by revising what wasn't working and that should be a lesson to all in how to play a game.

James is hurting Sharon's game play (imo) by emphasizing that she is with him. Of course, he realizes that and is keeping her from openly going to the other side, and yet he doesn't like her either. He told her he won't take her off, but he will vote for her to stay. He asked if she would vote for him if he were put up and she answered that would make the house angry. I thought of Ozzie's statement in Survivor last night. He said something like, if you take a step against me, you are out. James is using Sharon but doesn't like her or want to help her except as a vote.

***
I think that Sharon's game to stay in the background has worked, but it is time for her decide where she wants to be. The playing mole to hear James' plan isn't going to work this week. She should declare herself as a power player or accept her role as second fiddle.

***

In the hot tub, someone might have heard the exact quote, last night, James said that he only went back on his word to people who deserved it. He has said that before, too. It means he can and will do whatever he wants with nothing he said getting in the way. That is the way he plays the game and any hg who doesn't realize that deserves to fall for his talk and go home.

Remember Peanuts comic strip? Who was worst the one who trusted the football would be there when he tried to kick or the girl who told him it would be and pulled it away. Every time. James is holding the football and smiling.

Hi Jackie-

Well, this surgery has to be done. The knee's been hurting and keeping you from being more active than I imagine you'd like and s I guess there's no time like the present. I just know that when you got on the other side of it, you will be able to do so much more and though it can stiffen up on you, you will beout of pain and good to go for another 50 years!

The key is really doing your PT daily to get as much flexibility back as possible in those early weeks, and keeping that up. AS the commercial says, you're worth it!

I am wondering what you have up your sleeve here... sometimes Joy or others have done some live blogging on either our DWTS or Bachelor chats. And I've had Meb send me the updates on Journeyman etc... Maybe we can be assigned as cub reporters and take one ep of something a week or maybe we can all just comment in talk spaces you set up for the chosen shows during that time period. Or MAYBE, if you have a lptop, you are going to be happy to have something to focus your mind on while convalescing... once you're done with the drugs that is, lol!

Jackie-Best of luck with your upcoming surgery.I hope everything goes well for you and it will not be long before you are up and at them better than ever. Right now I am sure there are so many things going through your mind of how they are going to get handle. May I suggest that you concentrate on number one and that is you. Everything has a way of working out in the end.

Please know that we will miss you while you are away, but we are all wishing you the greatest recovery and sending the best of luck your way.

On a lighter side, we promise not to evict you!

Take care.

Zoetawny needs to do a graphic of Alison Grodner whispering in Adams ear!
