Jackie, collapse for as long as you need to. We're just so glad to hear that you're home and on the mend. Must be some good DNA you've got there. Get plenty of rest and do your PT as often as you can. Your cat must be as thrilled as you to be back in familiar surroundings. Both of you probably need a good night's sleep. Just HAPPY that you're back!!!!!!

Nana -- If all those things including benadryl aren't working on your granddaughter, I would think about taking her to the doctor frist thing tomorrow or the ER if it gets worse tonight. LIke my fatal shellfish allergy or kids with peanuts, Some people have life threatening allergies to bee stings too-- If it were anaphalactic, it would have come on in the first 45 minute s-- if she made it past 2 hours it's not that but I would really not mess with it. Not to be an alarmist, but it does sound like you might want to move past what you can do at home.

My mother made a paste of baking soda and water and piled it on til it dried. It supposedly does something to suck out the stuff and help the swelling at the same time but that may only be the thing to do right after the sting. I think you are 24 +hours out at this point, yes?

Hi Jackie, so glad you are home and I am sure you are too. Don't try to do too much but do what you can comfortably. I am looking forward to your pictures and any writings you may have done while "doped" up. ;)
