Survivor Micronesia: 5/08 Show East Coast Updates

jackie's tv blog, survivor
My apologies for my absence as of late -- I've been a bit overwhelmed with work, getting my apartment ready for a long, long stay, and medical doings leading up to next week's surgery.

The show has started here on the east coast. I'll update this post as important events (immunity, boot, and such) happen.

My full show review will be posted over at TV Squad later tonight.

As always, comments are a joy! :-)

Erik won reward, chose Amanda to go with him for helicopter ride, massage, meal and overnight hotel stay. He sent Parvati to Exile Island.

Erik won immunity. We don't know if Parvati even looked for the idol on Exile Island.

STUPID Erik. He fell for Cirie's scheme and gave immunity to Natalie. It's unanimous except for his vote for Parvati -- he's out.

Welcome Jackie, kind of knew you were up to your eyeballs in things to do!

Here's to another great episode!

joyn, where are u?

monty924 said...

Here we go... First challenge.

joy n said...

So far, so good. Bet one of them finds the idol. Hi Donna. I made it.

monty924 said...

Oohhh is Parvati making a big mistake on Exile? She's really sure of herself and her alliance!

joy n said...

Again, a senior moment. Hope Parvati doesn't find the idol. She's too lazy to look for it, anyway.

Donna in Alabama said...

Yeah, joyn, I love your comments! Glad Monty924 and delle are here, where is everyone else?

I was wondering if Amanda had told Cirie and Parvati about getting Erik to take her. They seem okay with it though.

joy n said...

Cirie had to see Nat walk up to them, didn't she? Wonder what her plan is?

Donna in Alabama said...

Sorry delee, fingers not cooperating.

Donna in Alabama said...

I have butterflies watching tonight.

monty924 said...

Donna, I have that same fingers problem. There should be a support group for fast typers/finger stutters anonymous. :)

Gayle said...

Well, Erik is in the Final 4!

joy n said...

Erik is going to town tonight! Both challenges! Well, he's safe. I sure hope he goes after Natalie. Or Cirie.

monty924 said...

Geesh, Erik is the new Ozzy. I'm not feeling good here. Jeff said Jason hands the "dumb" crown off tonight, but what would Erik do something stupid at this point? Another suspenseful episode.

Donna in Alabama said...

I could type much faster if I didn't hit backspace so much!! ha
So what is the big surprise gonna be? Everything has been fairly predictable so far.

joy n said...

I just realized. That article said something would happen with the idol tonight. Parvati must have found it. Right?

monty924 said...

I'm feeling bad vibes for Amanda and Parvati... mainly PARVITI. She should have looked for the Idol.

monty924 said...

Ewwwwwww, the girls are good at this game!

joy n said...

Erik, if it sounds stupid, it is stupid!

monty924 said...

Yes, Cirie is so funny. Go Erik GO... I mean go to the jury!

joy n said...

Two of the biggest manipulators in the game are giving him this bullcrap. Why is he even thinking about it?

Gayle said...

They're going to vote Erik out as soon as he gives up the immunity necklace!

monty924 said...

Cirie is good... you have to give her that! She just pushed him into giving Natalie the Idol!!!!!!!

joy n said...

Yep. Erik just got the title back. Dumb ass!

Anonymous said...

oh my goodness, is he crazy?

boy oh boy, the girls did a great job. i think cherie is really playing the best.

hi eveyrone!!!

D*MN those girls are good and Erik is a sucker!!!

Can it get any better than this!!!!

monty924 said...

I'm not sure if he was the dumbest, but he was the most gullible for sure.

Even the jury is thinking, UNBELIEVABLE!

James is loving it!

Bye, bye, Erik!

I love it for my boy James! He was beaming when Erik did that.

Good for you James... you've passed the crown on to another. Love it!

Donna in Alabama said...

Boys got the muscle, girls got the brains!! Now that is game play!

joy n said...

Sunday ought to be one heck of a catfight. Can't wait!

Ponderosa will be a "must See" with Erik arriving.

joy n said...

OMG! Ozzie is really going to rub it in. And James too, of course!

Anonymous said...

That was liking a train wreck. You know what was gonna happen but you look through your fingers to watch anyway. Hoping and praying the whole time you're not actually seeing what you're seeing. UNBELIEVABE!!

Brent McKee said...

There's a saying - Dumber than a sack full of rusty hammers. Erik is dumber than the guy who left the hammers out to rust. Dumber than Marcellus even.

joy n said...

I'm happy for James, anyway. Ah, Erik, you will be long remembered now and probably the answer to a long-standing trivia question.

I watched the show as it aired and am just now getting on board here. Ahhh, that was too sad to watch. Eric is just not cut out for this game. It was a major league play, don't get me wrong...but what other Survivor would give up Immunity. On another note, tonight I kept noticing how much Eric looks like Jonny Fairplay at some angles.

joy n said...

Off topic news. Flipping Out with Jeff Lewis as that crazy man who flips luxury homes will be back on Bravo on June 17. The man's a loony tune, but a funny one.

meb said...

ok.. Late posting, but I'm still sitting here unable to shut my mouth. How dumb can you get. Even Natalie thought he'd never go for it. These girls are the master manipulators. All I can say is WOW!

Now Amanda is in real trouble. None of those girls want to take her to the jury vote. And she's quite competitive, so unless she wins immunity next week, I think she's next to go.

Great, great episode. Can't wait for next week now.

Hey guys! How is everyone?

I was starting to wonder if everything with you was all good.
I'm sure you must be very busy getting organized now that your surgery date is nearing. I know it will be fine and you will be good as new in no time. Did you say we can send an email to you at the rehab facility?

nana...

I just read that Josie had her surgery. I'm happy to hear all went well. I hope her recovery isn't too hard on her and you. Please do let us know how she's doing.

Haven't seen Survivor yet but sounds like it's going to be a good one after reading your comments. I can't believe Erik gave up his II. I wonder how many times that's happened in Survivor history?

I hate that, too!

All you Survivor aficionados, has there ever been an all female tribe remaining? With such strong males this season I can't beieve the girls have prevailed. Of course, two of the males had to leave due to medical conditions. This has been a season to go down in Survivor history.

Who would you vote for to win the most popular this season? I think the first time that a check was awarded for most popular was Rupert's season. Wonder what Rupert is up to these days?

sydney...

Did you see the Dexter finale? Awesome!!

Survivor, CSI, Grey's Anatomy, Without a Trace and Lost tonight, who could ask for anything more? :)

Ciao!

joy n said...

Zoetawny, I've got it down to three. Yau-man, Ozzie or Amanda. IF Amanda gets voted out, that is, and she probably will. I'm still hoping, though, that somehow she wins the next comp and then wins the whole shebang. Like Meb, we can hope!

~~Silk said...

Im confused. Is the two-hour Sunday finale show this Sunday, the 11th, or a week from Sunday, the 18th? I thought the 18th, but the promos made it sound like the 11th. Help...!

Donna in Alabama said...

silk, just to make sure it was this Sunday, Mother's Day, I checked the Direct TV guide on my screen and it starts at 7 Central time. I have so much on my plate for Mother's Day, I was hoping you was right. I have told family they have to be outta here by 7 or I will go lock myself in my bedroom.

Erik, Erik, Erik what were you thinking?
Oops I mean; why weren't you thinking, never trust anyone in a reality show!
I wanted Amanda to allign with Erik. Although I believe Parv will stick with Amanda, unlike Cirie or Natalie.

holy smoke....he was so dumb.....I know he had the whole hero-worship thing going for the faves all this time..but when he came up with the fake name "Dabu" I thought, hey maybe he does have some smarts after all, and he was killer in the challenges lately....I love how James feels so vindicated!

Zoetawny I saw a show last night that showed Rupert. He bought a home and put aside money for his daughters college...then he invested in a program for at risk teens..he looks the same and has the biggest smile. Ya just have to love him.
I wish Yau Man could have played longer....I hope Amanda takes it to the end...she is so likeable.

That was hilarious!!! I felt bad for the guy but what was he thinking? Didn't he learn anything from seeing Jason and Ozzy blindsided? This is the best Survivor in a couple years.

I have loved Survivor this season.
I would like to see Amanda win it all but it seems that my cheering for one person tends to be the the kiss of death for that contestant.
Earlier in the season I was upset by Cirie orchestrating Yauman's leaving but I have to admit that she has outwitted and outlasted many of my favorites. She is certainly deserving of winning it all.
I don't care for Natalie's personality and hope she is not the winner. Parvarti isn't a fav of mine either but I would rather she win that Natalie.
I will be glued to the TV Sunday night to see the finale.
Jackie I want to wish you all the best with your surgery and rehab.
I think I can speak for Your Blog buds and say we will be sending prayers, love, and good vibes your way.

I still haven't watched the episode. We went to the MFA and saw the pompeii exhibit with friends then came back to our house for dinner. I walked in at 7:50 and ran to check to be sure Tivo was recording just at the moment ERik gave away his idol to Natalie. WHY WHY WHY!!! If they don't get Cirie out she is destined to win, and I wanted Amanda to win, though I have to admit, Cirie is outwitting and staying in too -- playing the best game. I really respect that but am sorry that I have a distasteful edge when it comes to her. I just can't ROOT for Cirie. But I'd rather anyone win but Natalie. Evil should not prevail, and she's it.

Haven't watched it yet. It will take all the willpower I have to wait til my husband is home tonight to watch with him!

Caroline said...

Can this show get any better? I guess the answer is yes, since it does week after week. Absolutely love these ladies, they are in it to win it! I think if Amanda makes it to F3 she's got a really, really good chance to win. She's played smart, strong and she's extremely likeable. And I'd be willing to be James & Ozzie are locked in as votes for her, so she only needs one more in theory, two at the most.

Best line of the night was when all 4 girls were discussing the plan for Erik to give up the II and Natalie was like "I feel stupid just sitting here listening to this plan." Hysterical. Although the whole conversation between Natalie & Cirie while they were alone in camp was also priceless.

I spent the whole episode thinking "this is ridiculous, there's no way this will work. Erik watched them to this to Ozzie & Jason, there's no way he'll fall for it." Imagine my surprise when he did. Truly, truly awesome.

Caroline said...

Assuming Amanda, Parvati & Cirie go to the F3, I think the jury questions should be very interesting. These 3 made an alliance (one that was supposed to override the couples alliance) in the 2nd episode to go to F3 together, and everything they did all the way through the season was focused towards that end. Being that they worked as such a team and all equally manipulated, tricked and out-thought everyone else, how will they separate their evil, diabolical plans to prove that any of them outdid the other two? In terms of pure gameplay it's almost impossible to say that any of them deserve it over the other two. Of course this is where Amanda's likeability factor gives her the edge. But it should make jury questions very, very interesting.

And how awesome is this reunion show gonna be? I hope they show the boys the scenes of the girls planning their demises. Hysterical.

I am still snickering over last night. Poor Erik,he never saw that bus that hit him and just kept on going....lol. There is such a thing as being too nice in this game, and that's Erik.

I think Cirie is the Dr. Will of Survivor,no? She can lie right to your face and you think she's so sincere. The only difference, she never tells them she's lying, but, come on,after all this time, they don't see the light?

And,I think Parvo's loyalty only goes so far. She's said a hundred times that she's there to win this time.ow if that means throwing her girl Amanda under the bus,I think we can count on that. If it comes down to her,Natalie and Cirie in the final three, then I want Cirie to win it(did I just say that?)!!
I love that the women finally stop being doormats and ruled the game, but really don't care for any of them but Amanda.

Loved James' reaction to Erik's stupidity. Good to see that he's up and about and not tethered to that IV anymore.Ozzy just looked bored,I hate that he can't be a good sport!

Is anybody as lost about Lost as I am?

Anonymous said...

I looked up the word asinine in the dictionary and there was Erik for all to see.

Jackie, I miss you already. May you heal quickly and without event. And return to doing all the things you enjoy and love. My prayers are with you now and in the days to come. You rock!!!

Anonymous said...

Sharon said: Ozzy just looked bored,I hate that he can't be a good sport!
***

I always watch his expressions, too. I am hoping that is just his game face and that he was doing a little happy dance inside his head. It would protect Amanda (or any of the ones he might vote to win) if the islanders didn't know what he was thinking or whose side he was on. Eric was watching his hero Ozzie, too. What if Ozzie had grimaced when Eric started to remove the necklace and that had changed Eric's mind. Did Amanda keep herself ot of the Eric switcheroo? I know she was in on it from the beginning, but did she ever tell him she would vote for him if he gave away the idol? I may have to watch that part again.

The subtitle of this season should have been 'pride goeth before a fall'.

Sydney said...

Caroline -- good question. I can think of snarky things that the other two ladies did, but what am I missing if I can't think of anythign devious Amanda did THIS season? She seemed more like that last time around.

RBennie said...

Good to hear from you Jackie. I wish you all the best with your surgery.

OMG was that the best episode of Survivor ever? When Cirie came up with that idea I was like no way will Erik be dumb enough to go for that. Well, apparently, I was wrong, LOL. Totally unbelievable. He should have been able to just look at the Jury's faces and know it was a stupid move to make! That whole tribal council was priceless. If I was on that jury and Cirie made it to Final 3, I would hand the money to her. She has planned every major move that has happened in the game. Not once was her name seriously mentioned for elimination. As far as the jury goes, I don't know if any of them, with the exception of Erik, knows how big a part she played in getting them out. At this point, I think Amanda is the only one left who could win against her. I'm sure Natalie and Parv know they don't stand a chance against Amanda, so I think she's in big trouble if she doesn't win immunity.

RBennie said...

Sydney - Amanda was in on this Erik scheme up to her eyeballs with everyone else and she was also down with the girls alliance when they got rid of Jason. She's also solely responsible for taking out Alexis. The only thing her hands are totally clean on is Ozzie's eviction.

meb said...

Sydney/Caroline... Amanda convinced Eric to send Parvati to Exile Island instead of Natalie so Nat couldn't find the idol, and she convinced Eric to take her on the reward trip with Natalie standing right there watching. Now that's devious.

Amanda has been in on the plans of all the blindsides of the guys except Ozzie. They left her out of that one and it did shock her. She has played a great game this time around and so has Cerie. Parvati has just sort of hung on through all her deception.

I would be fine with either Cerie or Amanda winning, with Amanda being my preference.

This has, indeed, been the best Survior ever.

Sharon... haven't watched Lost yet. Will watch today and I'll let you know.

RBennie said...

LOL MEB, we were typing the same thing at the same time. Great minds must think alike.

Anonymous said...

I think Amanda will be first out Sunday. If it between Cirie, Parv and Nat, Cirie will win hands down. The woman has done a great job of planting the seed of the plan and getting others to carry it out.

Caroline said...

Sydney - I think Amanda is sitting pretty because she hasn't done anything OUTWARDLY devious. It's all just been very sly. Even things as simple as last night, getting Erik to take her on reward and send Parv to Exile, that way Natalie couldn't eat or look for the idol. It's deviously genius. Amanda manipulated Erik, Cirie & Parv manipulated Alexis & Natalie, and all 3 of them used Natalie to manipulate Jason & Erik. All 3 girls have done their parts to keep their plan moving forward and successful. And like Rbennie said, Cirie is a masterminding genius whose name barely came up for eviction. Although she's been more obvious about playing people, she's also managed to keep the true extent of her involvement under wraps. Amanda & Cirie both really deserve to win this season, and I'd be happy with either one. It'll just be interesting to see who the jury thinks credit for these plans should go to.

Caroline said...

Meb & Rbennie...you took the words right out of my mouth :-)

I'm thrilled that Amanda has played so well this time. She had really good ideas and strategies last time, but let Todd talk her out of too much because he wanted to be in sole control.

meb said...

rbennie... I just read your post and you're right... we had the same thoughts at the same time. Love it when a plan comes together!

These girls have done what they had to do to get where they wanted to be. Natalie should go next and then we'll see if the jury can piece it all together to determine who really is deserving of the win. I still say it's a toss up between Amanda and Cerie.

Anonymous said...

I think the whole thing with Eric (And Jason even) is actually kind of sad. Both of them were so anxious to be liked and make friends, they totally forgot everything they already knew, and against their better instinct did stupid things. And Eric especially - he's had the benefit of seeing all these blind-sides unfold, and knowing he can't trust any of these people, the women especially, and he did it anyhow because he was concerned that someone might not like him. It's really kind of sad.

That said, although I don't like her that much, Cirie is the real Survivor here. Amanda has some physical skills, and will have votes just because she has some real friends who like her best (Ozzie and James). No one cares for Parvati and Natalie except for Parvati and Natalie. I'm sure they've been kept on by those of the "take someone everyone hates to the finals with you" school of thought. But as for game-play, it's Cirie all the way. Master-mind the plans, lurk around the edges, don't call attention to yourself, don't ruffle any feathers, be a friend to everyone, no physical threat, etc. She's outwitted, oulasted and outplayed.

meb said...

You know how Eric kept going on and on in tribal council about how people really didn't know him and he needed to prove how he could be trusted.

I saw this next statement over on TVSquad and thought it was perfect:

"...What Erik didn't realize is that it doesn't matter how the jury sees you, if you never get to stand before them..."

Poor Eric... his family must be mortified!

RBennie said...

That statement says it all MEB. This guy was just not cut out for the game. Alas he will remain the "Ice Cream Boy" not "Man".

RBennie said...

One other thing I just thought about. Don't you like Liza so much better at Ponderosa than on the tribe? She's really quite cute and funny in the Ponderosa clips.

meb said...

I just watched Eric over at the Ponderosa. While I'm sure he took a great ribbing, he's content to be there after being fed and lots of beer. I still have to say, Poor Eric.

Yes rbennie... Eliza took on the role of Mayor of Ponderosa, being the first one there, so she's also quite content.

Alexis actually said it was as good as winning the million dollars to be there. Can't quite agree with her there, but they do look like they are having the times of their life.

meb said...

rbennie...just looked at your profile and noticed you're a Scorpio. While I'm not really into horoscopes, just wondered when's your birthday... I'm 11/11.

Anonymous said...

Natalie has to be the first to go, on Sunday. Remember at least one of the competitions left is a long combo of previous challenges. Cerie would be bad at that, BUT Natalie is a personnal trainer and should have some staying power. The final 3 need to be Cerie-Amanda-Parvati. We can not allow Natalie to be in the F3, period.

Still giggling about: Erik's "Stupidest Survivor Move"

RBennie said...

My B'day is 10/28 - the early stages of Scorpio - LOL. Well I guess we now know why we seem to think alot alike.

Anonymous said...

New Ponderosa's are up!!! Going to watch em now!

RBennie said...

Although I think it would be great for the alliance of Cirie, Parv and Amanda to stick together to the end, it would not be smart game play for either Cirie or Parv to want to keep Amanda in the end. They simply have no chance at beating her. If Amanda can manage to make it into the F3, she's already won the game.

Sydney said...

rbennie -- and you KNOW that little fact is not going to be lost on Miss Cerie! The question is, is Amanda on to Cerie or not? What do you guys think?

meb said...

Sydney...I'm pretty sure that Cerie has already commented to the cameras that it wouldn't be smart for her to take Amanda to F-3, but Cerie better be winning some competitions if she plans on staying. I also think that this is the time when Amanda starts to go into her little girl act. The problem...there aren't any men left to "play", if you get my drift.

This is really going to get interesting!

RBennie said...

I just realized no one has won a car yet! I wonder if that will be the prize for the next challenge. Let's see if the curse of the car plays into this at all.

RBennie said...

I just watched the Ponderosa footage of Erik's arrival. Bless his heart - he really is a sweetheart. But unfortunately for him, you don't win Survivor by being the nicest person.

I was trying to recall how many finals came down to all women and I could only remember the season that the black woman (whose name I have totally forgotten) won. Does anyone have a better recollection?

Donna in Alabama said...

They said last night on the commercial that first time in Survivor history, four women are the final 4.

Donna in Alabama said...

I knew if the girls did not stick together and get rid of the guys back before Ozzy left, it would not work. Like Erik proved, he was dominating all the comps. and the girls would not be able to get rid of him any other way. I loved Cirie in her first season and have loved her this season and now since I have seen Amanda's game play, I love her.
Go Amanda and Go Cirie, either one of them for the win.

Good point. Maybe the F3 should play the "likeability" card and focus their answers on who was the least diabolical.

Wish I could jump online for the finale with all of you but Mother's Day trumps Survivor. ;) So, I'll have to watch it on Pacific time.

I like when the game playing skills of the various players are so obvious. I mean obvious to us watchers so that we can dissect how they did things to get to the F4.

Natalie pulled off that big lie (was it to Jason?) and handled it all smoothly, but the trouble with that strategy is it won't work often because no matter how sincere she appears, real game players (meaning not Eric) will know what she is capable of doing. She isn't more devious than the others, but she might be more blatant about it. She could use some finesse.

Cerie: She is a master at behind the scenes manipulation. It seems an innate trait to her, I wonder how it fits in with her off the island life? She has kept us the viewers clued in on many moves but I don't know how much her fellow islanders realize she is doing. If there is a bus at the campsite, Cerie is driving it. When push came to shove though, she voted for Amanda to leave. She told her ahead of time, so gave Amanda that gift, which she had denied others, which shows she treats Amanda with more respect than some others, but also that Cerie will do what it takes to get to the end.

Par: She really doesn't seem to exert herself much, but it is working for her. Take me to the end, I will vote for you and not win immunity. If doing nothing and feeling like she was at a spa was her choice, she would have preferred to spend the last few days at the Ponderosa, so I am thinking she is working hard at not working. Another form of manipulation is getting others to do their work for them. However, it is interesting to see the femme fatale find a way to stay with no men on the island.

Amanda: She has the finesse that Natalie is lacking. She is doing what it takes to still be there, she didn't agonize over having to boot someone, she understands the joy of making a big power move. She is fun to watch. But, the game turned when Ozzie left and she wasn't part of that.

I think the jury will vote on the Ozzie eviction as the biggest move of the game.

I think Cirie is the master manipulator but on endurances she cant hack it....isnt one of the last ones usually endurance? Thats when deals are made? Since Parv,Amanda,Cirie are faves, they should think about kicking Nat to the curb...why have a fan beat three faves?
You know as much as everyone loves amanda, they have to give props to Cirie, so in the final vote, i think she would get the win....

I've watched the last couple of episodes over again because I've realized finally that I can't comprehend seeing and hearing the episode at the same time that I'm typing my thoughts and trying to read all the comments along with Jackie's commentary. I miss so much of the show. I'm just going to have to change my ways.

That said, after watching them again, I must say (grudgingly) that Cirie IS playing a good game. She's not so hot at comps, but, despite my dislike of her from her former season, she is using good strategy. Like others, I don't understand why everyone seemed to listen to her, but listen they did, and she's still there.

I'm still hoping that Natalie and Parvati don't win and still hoping that Amanda does. But if Cirie happens to win, I'd have to admit that she would be as deserving of winning as Amanda. They've both pulled off some great moves this season.

Just FYI: RealityTVWorld has three good articles.

American Idol: David Archuleta's father's backstage pass has been revoked.

There is an interview with Erik from Survivor including the topic of "Biggest Survivor Blunder Ever".

Also an interview with Jeff Probst about surviving 16 seasons of Survivor and a few small insights into his personal life.

Another article on TMZ about David A's dad. They call him the Stage- dad from Hell and say that he was also banned from the set of Star Search a few years ago.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!
I hope you all enjoy a day of fun and relaxation.

both my mother and my dear mother-in-law have been gone for a few years now, yet I still see them sometimes in a crowd and I also see things in stores that I (momentarily) think "I should get her that, she'd like it."

Happy Mother's Day!!! :)

I've been VERY busy most of the week and have only had time to check in but not comment.

JOSIE UPDATE: She is doing well. They tightened the kneecap down and now she won't walk on that leg! I think it's just going to take some getting use to it. I'm keeping her sedated so she is sleeping alot....but seems to wake up if I leave the room and starts crying!! She's just a big Mama's baby.

Although it is Mother's Day it is bittersweet in our extended family. My best friend's daughter(who is my Amy's age-32) was 2 weeks from delivering her first child and found out he had died in utero. Labor was induced and she delivered him on Tues. I have been busy notifying family and friends and lending support. To top it off she had fell the day before and while in the hospital found out that her ankle was broken. No, that did not cause the death--cord wrapped around the baby's neck was the problem. Sometimes life is so unfair!! Hug your kids and grandbabies---they truly are gifts.

SURVIVOR: I'm loving it!! And sad that tonight is the finale. Truly the best season ever. Usually the seasons become a repeat of previous seasons and get boring but this year--because of stupidity and big egos-- every week had a new twist and surprise.
I believe the final comp. should be an endurance which Amanda should do well in. Parv. might to since she did well in the prev. one with the arm tied to the water bucket. Cirie certainly isn't the strongest player but she sure is the smartest. She has manipulated the other players to do the dirty work and planted ideas with the right people. I'm rooting for Cirie or Amanda....and whoever doesn't win the game I hope wins the $100,000 from America's vote.

My Mother's Day is going to be spent at my daughter's for dinner with my other daughter's family and my Mom and Dad.

Have a great day everyone--will check back later and see you for Survivor Finale!!

Reality TV World: So do you think Cirie and Natalie's decision will ultimately hurt them?

Erik: I definitely think it will. But they obviously weren't looking that far. They were looking at the girls alliance, and not realizing that within the girls alliance Parvati and Amanda were even closer.

Thanks for the tip on the article Joyn. From the above quote, I think we may have a final two tonight and not a final three.

If its a final three, I think it will be Cirie, Amanda and Parvati with Cirie winning.

If its a final two, I think it will be Parvati and Amanda with Amanda winning. I'd be happy with either scenario.

Happy Mother's Day ALL and I hope to see some of you later this evening during the show. Three hours of Survivor. What a great way to end the week. :)

My Cable/TV guide for tonight reads: SURVIVOR - Cirie Fields, Amanda Kimmel - The winner is revealed. Hmmm, wonder if they know something we don't know? LOL

This is one night of TV I know I'm going to love. Next Sunday, not so much.

I feel like it's so hard to tell who could bein that final three as it's not all about votes, it's about competitions, and anything could happen. Survivor doesn't seem to so obviously slant a comp to certain players advantages... Cerie, while not a huge physical threat, would not surprise me if she pulled it out on the endurance and at least gave a grand fight tonight. I mean, she is there to WIN. She is also smart. Amanda is smart. Pavarti, not so sure she would have answers right if they do the questions of Survivor history, castmates or island culture as they have in the past, because she's so into herself I'm not sure she pays attention to much else.

And Natalie, I'm hoping is just so weak she can't do much... and then will be voted out. Any minute now Jackie will put up her new post. This has been the best season since the first for me... I will be SO SORRY to see this fab show go... but will then wait for TAR, which never disappoints.

See you all in a few!
