Big Brother 10 - Live Feeds Friday Night Into Saturday Morning

Well, Dan nominated Jerry and Memphis, the latter due to his deal with Ollie for HOH. Memphis knows why he's nominated and was expecting it. But that doesn't mean he's happy about it, not at all. Here's the latest from that Big Brother House of Let's Make a Deal:
  • Dan is insisting to Memphis that Renny will vote the way he wants (to keep Memphis) while Memphis knows Renny doesn't care for him much. He thinks Dan is depending too much on Renny and it's his game at stake.
  • Memphis also told Dan that he shouldn't trust Renny -- she's in it for herself. (Isn't that what she says about him? And shouldn't they all be in it for themselves?)
  • Dan said that he won't fulfill the second part of the deal -- Ollie will not be the one to pick the replacement nominee if POV is used. Of course, he didn't tell Ollie or Michelle that. He now plans to put Michelle on the block if the POV is used.
  • Keesha told Dan that she doesn't think Jerry would be the one to go if it remains Jerry/Memphis on the block.
  • Renny pointed out that he didn't put Michelle on the block because Ollie wants to protect her.
  • Keesha said if Memphis won POV, Dan would have to put Michelle up. Renny told him if he puts her (Renny) up, she'll make his life miserable.
  • Renny said that you have to lie and be a snake in the game. Dan said that you could be the snake charmer.
  • Ollie and Michelle agreed to each other that if either of them won the POV, they would save Jerry.
  • They told Jerry of their decision. Ollie claims they "[bleeped] the wrong person."
  • Keesha avoided answering Memphis when he asked if she know who would go on the block if Jerry was saved by POV.
  • They sat around waiting for the POV comp, but it didn't happen in the late night hours.
  • It bothers Keesha that Ollie and Michelle are strutting around all smug since nominations.
  • Michelle, Jerry, and Ollie were laughing because Dan's alliance doesn't know the part of the deal that Ollie chooses the replacement nom if the veto is used. Um ...
  • Memphis broke Dan's bed (not on purpose) when Dan was called to the Diary Room. It didn't take long for Dan to discover it was broken. Heehee!
  • They're just starting to get up as I post this.

Hi ALL!! I am a teacher and started back to school this week, that's why I've MIA!!

Thanks Jackie for the updates, I've been so busy this week, I am glad I can come here to catch up!!

Will I Actually be the first one to post a comment?

Oh goodie!!! I was first!!! What did I win?

Jackie--I pick what's behind door #2--please make it money!!! LOL

Now to my comments.....

Yes, Laurie I am delusional...have been for a long time...I call it "senior moments"...lapse of memory as to go these people are! LOL

Here is my question....who does Dan put up if Mich. wins POV and takes Jerry off? I really can't see him backing out on his word to Ollie about keeping him safe. Memphis would be gone if that happened(O/J/M would vote him off).

So we need to hope Mich. doesn't get to play POV! Then Dan's plan will work.

Didn't Dan ask Ollie not to tell Michelle about their deal? Maybe that will figure into a "you broke the deal first" justification.

I'd like it if both Michelle and Ollie would leave next Thursday. Then Dan, Renny, Keesha and Memphis could have a less stressful week while they conspire to evict Jerry and strategize for the final 4.

Here's another email I got that I just have to share. I can just imagine Renny being the woman in it. : )

One morning, the husband returns the boat to their lakeside cottage
after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap.
Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out.

She motors out a short distance, anchors, puts her feet up, and begins to read her book. The peace and solitude are magnificent.

Along comes a Fish and Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"

"Reading a book," she replies,
(thinking, "Isn't that obvious?").

"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her.

"I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading."

"Yes, but I see you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."

"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault,"
says the woman.

"But I haven't even touched you," says the Game Warden.

"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment."

"Have a nice day ma'am," and he left.

MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads ~ it is likely she can also think!

Life isn't about how to survive the storm but how to dance in the rain.

Wow, this is a week where it almost does not matter who wins the POV and it mostly likely will be used.

If Ollie wins and takes off Jerry, it kinda justifies Dan putting up Michelle. Vice versa if Michelle wins. But I think most would prefer Michelle not to win it. (she would be my #1 target)

If Jerry wins it, Michelle can go up. Same if Memphis wins.

If Dan, Renny or Keesha win they could pull down Memphis, put up Michelle.

Now Jerry, he is something else. Last week he was dogging Michelle and Ollie because they were not talking to him. Totally throwing them under the bus. Instantly he is back in with them. Sure, they can use him as a number. But wouldn't he be smarter to go to R/D/K, play nice and try to get them to vote out Memphis. I think he knows Renny has doubts about Memphis, he could play on that.

Oh yeah, that would require using his brain. He really has no strategy does he?

Final thought, watching BBAD, R/K/M/D can be really fun to watch. At times they are entertaining, but M/O/J, it is just annoying and painful.

Nana, I like that we all live in our little worlds. The guys at work tease me all the time about my butterfly and rainbow world. One even gave me a unicorn! LOL I do tend to be the Pollyanna. I know reality, I just don't always like to live in it! Now just wait until you see what's behind door #2. No, not money ... not designer outfits... it's a bunch of bananas!

PDX Granny, great little story with a good moral to it. Don't mess with us readers!

Jen, back to school already,eh? Our schools start Sept 2. Summer break goes by fast, doesn't it?

Hopefully the POV contest will require some critical thinking which will eliminate Ollie and Michele from being the winner. Michele could win a physical contest. I would love it if she won, took Jerry off, and then Dan put Ollie up. Ollie is a snake who already broke the contract.

So everyone thinks they are safe right now? I mean except the two on the block, of course. Each group thinks they are good for this week because of Dan's snake charming abilities. Good for him.

Of course, several people in that group cannot keep their mouths shut (especially if they get alcohol) so who knows what truths and lies will be told between today and Thursday. Oh yeah, and double eviction, too. I keep forgetting about that.

double eviction this week? i thought it was next week.

I commented earlier on the previous post about the time this one came up. Since everyone had moved over here, I'm re-posting it . . .

Petals, you're so good!! "Duh-lliance" I LOVE it!!!

I'm really curious to see how this all plays out. Too bad Dan can't hear us. Then he'd have no problems. He's have a number of scenarios to choose from....the posters here are so smart. Of course, it doesn't hurt that we have a bit more insight into what's going one. :)

As far as him going back on his word, Ollie's already asked for it by telling the deal to Michelle and Jerry. I'm sure he's trying to come out of this game with his ethics still intact, but since the rules of the game say it's OK to scheme and lie and cheat, I'd say he's definitely playing within the rules - which is perfectly ethical!

Remember Jennifer and Kaysar? It'll be hard to top that one when it comes to breaking promises!!!

This just in:

Players for the Veto Comp: Dan, Jerry, Memphis, Keesha, Michelle, and Renny

Jerry told Ollie he picked Michele instead of him because Ollie was already safe. Ollie is sad because he really wanted to win POV. That made me laugh.

Jerry told Ollie to be thinking of who will Ollie will replace him with, since Ollie gets to make that decision. LOL ... laughing again.

Yes Laurie, Summer went way too quickly!! Teachers started last week and the kids start back on Monday!

Good Lord... this waiting for the POV to be played is as bad as the text message from Obama that never came...

Dan, dawling, it's time for you to take one for the team. Go to confession, we'll forgive you. You're not going to get any votes in the Jury House from Ollie/Michelle anyway.

I bet all his boys threw their jock straps at the TV when he made that deal with Ollie

Anonymous said...

OMG, you're kidding me, OLLIE is the one not playing POV???

That's just too funny.

Ollie just told Jerry to go tell Jerry whatever it takes to get him to doubt Memphis and Keesha -- he actually said to Jerry: "Make it up if you have to"

And he's gonna bitch and complain about anyone else's ethics in the house?

I know, we should be used to this by now.

...and of course I meant "jerry to tell Dan" that

This quote was in my email this morning. It seemed appropriate for the day (not us, of course).

"They never open their mouths without subtracting from the sum of human knowledge."
- Thomas Brackett Reed

So Ollie is still playing the laid back guy giving orders to others and not even being concerned about telling the truth. What a shining example of a human being he is. NOT!

This calls for another quote from the mail I received this morning:

"He had delusions of adequacy." - Walter Kerr

Once again, Ollie's parents must be so proud.

I know this game is about lying and scheming, but to "make stuff up"... well I guess it is desperate.

I really don't think Dan will believe what they make up about Keesha. He seems like a smart guy, and I kind of think his loyalty to Keesha goes back to her HOH, when everyones plan was to get rid of Dan or Renny or Jerry, and she had her on plan.

Seems Jerry has forgotten that tho.

Oh, who do I want to see win the veto, probably Memphis. For sure not Michelle

Actually Michelle is exactly the one I want to see win it! First, it puts her in the dilemma of 1) having to outright betray Memphis, or save him and 2) if she uses it on Jerry (and Ollie has already acknowledged this) then it makes it obviouis that Ollie told Michelle about the deal, and most likely Dan will HAVE to put up Ollie (because what else could he do?)

I'm hoping Michelle wins it!

If Dan wins POV, I bet he leaves Memphis on the block. That way he won't officially have to go back on his word. But does he trust Renny to vote out Jerry?

If Keesha wins, I think she would use the POV on Memphis, forcing Dan to put Michelle up.

If Renny wins, I don't know what she'll do. She can be a wild card, so it wouldn't surprise me if she left the noms the same and still voted Memphis out.

All by way of saying, even if our alliance (the "Tenacious Trio" + Memphis) wins this comp, I'm not quit sure what will happen.

Thursday should be awesome!

You all are such brilliant strategists. Remind me never to play chess with you!

Was it Dan who was teaching people to play chess earlier in the game? If so, between that and coaching football, he would be very good at looking at the big picture and making changes on the fly.

I'm still hoping he knows what he is doing with the deal, the nominations and the whole game. I would love to see him in the F2 and even win it.

By the way, I bow to Terry in CA who was right and I was wrong. Ollie has no real game and seeing him on his own is not interesting. I really thought he'd go with a man-alliance but no, he's got another female to do his bidding. I'm thinking of a job he'd be good at ... yeah, that's the one. He could still wear his hats, too.
