Survivor Cast Announced

I have a post up on TV Squad with the CBS video of the new cast. I think I like! I hear ew.com has more information but I'll have to check it out a bit later. I have to go work out, fool for exercise that I am. Yeah, my physical therapy halted thanks to Blue Cross/Blue Shield and the skimpy 20 visit limit. But I'm paying a low fee to go use the equipment at the PT place to strengthen my knee. I have to stop almost falling!

Your blog has been really fun for me to read. Like I said I'm a big follower of Big Brother and love knowing what's going on as often as possible. I have sent you an award on my blog. Have a great day. Michelle in Louisiana

ew.com has the Survivor new cast up with bio's and their opinion of themselves as well as Jeff Probst opinion. Looks interesting.

Looks like a very interesting group of people. I am looking forward to watching it. I'll have to go read more on their bios.

Jackie, leave it to you to find a way to continue your PT in spite of your insurance co. Way to go!

I am getting excited for Survivor and Amazing Race. I agree, this looks like a very diversive group. Too early to tell the "good" guys from the "bad". The lady that "passes gas" sounds like she may be a hoot!

Thanks for the Survivor post Jackie. Might be an interesting bunch. I recall not liking the previous Africa edition of Survivor all that much, they were so limited in their movement. I hope this one will be better.

I am looking forward to seeing Survivor and TAR.
From the brief Survivor bio clips I would say there are several arrogant people who may be easy targets and ones we love to hate.

I will wait til I see how each of them act and interact with the others before I pick any faves.

I have never been to Gabon and probably would have to search hard to find it on a map but I noticed on the Survivor logo picture it shows a jungle/rain forest scene with a couple of flowers on it, one of which seems to be a daffodil.
I have no idea if daffodils grow wild in Gabon but it hit me as weird. Maybe a little poetic license from CBS.
Obviously I need to get a life if I am doing a critique of flowers in the survivor logo. LOL

Lynn1, I left you a message on a previous thread regarding the hurricane.

Jackie, keep us posted on your health.

Thanks Becky. I saw it and responded on the previous thread. I really appreciated your hints.

Jackie, when you said "I have to stop almost falling", are you meaning your knee goes out on you and you almost fall? You must be careful...are you still carrying your cane or crutch? Just something that can catch you if you start to fall.

If that's not what you meant, then please explain your comment. Smile

I lived in Florida 200 years and boarded up many times for the hurricanes. Andrew, most devastating for the Miami area, would have hit North Lauderdale where I lived if it had moved but an inch (on the map). We got absolutely nothing. I know how scary it all can be. All of you who might be in its path, just prepare early and get out of its way. We're sending prayers that it dissapates before it gets that far!

Keep us posted.

Oh, Jackie... thanks for the word about Sydney, I think I remember reading now that she would be gone for a while. Memory eludes me sometimes. Can't imagine why.

I'm still asking about RyznShyn... I looked back and she hasn't posted since back around 8/20 and I didn't see anything that said she was going anywhere (at least that I can remember).

I lived in Florida 20 years... I'm old enough that it could have been 200 years tho.

I wasn't sure where I should post.....so I put my BB comments on the prev. post.

As for Survivor--I am ready!! Back to the wilds of Africa and as they say "The Garden of Eden". The cast looks interesting but I'll have to wait for the first few shows to see who I'll love and who I'll hate!

I think my fav. reality show is AR. I enjoy seeing different parts of the world and watching the pairs have to use their brain to outsmart the other teams.

petals--I'm with about Ollie. He was one of the best Survivor has ever had. I would love to see him and Amanda do AR.

Who else agrees with me that Danis the best player in BB? Better than Will, or ED? Plus he's not smarmy or vile.
DAN ROCKS

If it is double eviction on thur. they will all have to pack thier bags before the show becouse they won't know who is going after Manny leaves so will they figure it out.

If I remember correctly, for double eviction the houseguests are indeed surprised, and do not pack their bags ahead of time. One of the remaining houseguests is asked to do it for the evictee later after the show, and put the bag in the storage room.

Memphis and Dan made meatloaf for dinner. Mmmm.. pass the ketchup.

OK guys--are we posting over here now? I just commented about BB on the prev. post.......

Going over to Joker's....I hear Dan/Memphis cooked meatloaf!

Meatloaf, fried potatoes, and salad. Let me in there BB - it looks yummy. Oh, Ollie is sitting in the spa pouting and not eating with the others, HA!

Michelle - Thank you for the honor!

MEB - Exactly what I meant. My PT said it was just muscles needing building up, but he saw it in action the other day. He said it shouldn't be doing that. Outside the house I've been taking a cane. It seems to happen when I forget to remember I have a new knee.
