SAG Awards Tonight

Yes, it's that time again. Tonight, on both TNT and TBS at 8 PM ET, we have the gala event of the Screen Actors Guild awards. I have to watch Cold Case so I can write up the review for CliqueClack TV, but I will hopefully be able watch some of the awards show or the rebroadcast at 11 PM ET. I guess I watch bad shows because the only show listed that I watch every week is Saving Grace. The only movie or mini-series listed that I watched is 24 Redemption. I do not have HBO or I would have seen John Adams.
I watch some of the shows mentioned only when I can't find anything else.
Thank you Jackie for all your work here. I hope you cut and pasted all those lists and didn't have to type all that!!

Heh. I don't have HBO or Showtime either, plus they even took my AMC away to digital! I have only basic cable and can't see it in the budget for more. I keep up with Dexter via DVD releases.

And, I did copy and paste from the press kit DVD sent to me by TNT/TBS. I had to format the bold and italics, though! I thought the nominees may be of some interest to the readers here.

We saw John Adams via Netflix and thought it was great. Somebody here had recommended it. Paul Giamatti was fabulous and so was Laura Linney. I'd love to see them win.

Hugh Laurie is great on House. He really is acting. He's actually quite funny and quite British!

Wow. I've seen most of the nominated movies, and I am so rooting for Mickey to take home the prize for Best Performance/Actor. Kate was amazing, but Amy Adams was incredible in Doubt. Slumdog was a feel-good flick, but win-worthy. I'd love to see Rev Road win. Surprised that Gran Torino got no nods.
You all remember my feelings about Ben Button. I still LOVE Brad, tho.
I LOVE AWARD SHOWS!!!!!!!! Between award shows and the Australian Open, Ms Petals is in TELEVISION HEAVEN!!!
p.s. - Hey Miss Jackie!

Thanks Laurie, I missed the show, even after Jackie reminded me and I made a mental note to see it. I am not sure how they decide when so many of the nominees are so good. And how to compare such different shows. I was wondering who won though, and thank you for putting it up.

Lars going in circles -

FYI - You do NOT need to be a college student to have a facebook account. I personally know hundreds of high school students and non student adults that have facebooks.

Hi Jackie-

On Extra last night Mario asked our new president all kinds of questions - like what is your fav TV show. He said M*A*S*H, something, the THE WIRE. I thought you might like to know you travel in good company.

Yay Dexter... from the list shown, he didn't win???

I don't watch any of these shows that did win, most of mine that I watch are drama related, so I guess only a few could be nominated.

wv is stopit... stop what... I wasn't doing anything!

Lars, I did read that when Facebook was originated, it was designed exclusively for college students. I believe that has changed since that time.

I personally don't do Facebook, but I know quite a few who do that are not students at this time.
