OFF TOPIC: So You Think You Can Hop

So, there I was at the Bridgewater Train Station ready to head home. Hey! What's that? (No, not the big yellow circle -- I did that!) I saw movement from whence I came. I must investigate. Reminder: clicking on any of the images will open them larger in a new window.

Why ... it's an animal ... as opposed to vegetable or mineral. I must get closer.

Baby bunny alert! Baby bunny alert! I must get closer.

Aww. How cute is that? He's only about five or six inches long. I must get closer.

Warm fuzzy baby bunny alert! Whoops ... there's my train coming in. Must get farther away!

I managed to get about two feet away from the bunny. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that's a good thing. He knew I was there, but was very frightened. I hope he reacts more quickly to hawks and other predators.

Aww Jackie... he would have made a great pet and your cat would have loved him. Wait... maybe he would have loved him for dinner. Never Mind! He sure was cute. Don't let Sydney read this, or she'll be on her way to New Jersey NOW!

Baby bunnies are sooo cute. The ones in my yard let you get real close. They try to hunker down like I can't see them. Once they realize I'm still coming they take off lickity split. Luckily my dogs are always leashed cause I'm positive Pumpkin could catch one.

Big surprise. Another TV show has been produced with an agenda. MORE CALCULATED PR CRAP FOR THE RICH. 'The Philanthropist' hasn't even premiered yet. But I know what to expect. More brainwash plots: 'The rich are good'. 'The rich are smart'. 'The rich are sexy'. 'The rich create jobs'. 'The rich pay more taxes'. 'The rich give back'. 'The rich want to make the world a better place'. Of course, they will villianize the occasional rich 'outlaw' or 'scumbag'. But the group as a whole will be shown in a positive light. More caring, more compassionate, more generous, ect. At least those who take up 'philanthropy' or 'good will'. Which in the real world, as they know, as they plan, as they deliberately publicize, includes ALL OF THEM. What a sham. Its already quite evident that the lead character will be another filthy rich 'good guy'. Of course, the same old plugs for medical testing, pharmaceuticals, universities, credit cards, and world travel will be thrown in. EVERY SINGLE EPISODE. Afterall, NBC has greedy coorporate sponsors and a juggernaut parent company to cater to. Go ahead and watch. But don't be their little puppet. DON'T FALL FOR THE CALCULATED PR CRAP. REMEMBER: EVERY SINGLE TOP EXECUTIVE ON THE PLANET HAS TAKEN UP 'PHILANTHROPY' OR 'GOOD WILL'. INCLUDING THOSE WHO WORK IN THE ENERGY, FINANCE, AND PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES. ITS A SHAM. NOTHING BUT TAX DEDUCTIBLE PR CRAP. THE RICH DO NOT WANT TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. THEY WANT TO APPEAR AS IF THEY DO. OTHERWISE, THEY WOULDN'T CONCENTRATE THE WORLD'S WEALTH AND RESOURCES TO BEGIN WITH. THIS TV SHOW IS JUST ANOTHER CALCULATED TRICK TO SHOW THEM IN A MORE POSITIVE LIGHT. DON'T FALL FOR IT. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A MULTI-MILLIONAIRE HUMANITARIAN. EXTREME WEALTH MAKES WORLD PROSPERITY ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE. WITHOUT WORLD PROSPERITY, THERE WILL NEVER BE WORLD PEACE OR ANYTHING EVEN CLOSE. GREED KILLS. IT WILL BE OUR DOWNFALL.

This is part of a much larger and vital issue. Search the following line: "The campaign to divert our attention has taken a new turn."

The best way to make a TV show fail is to not watch it.

Wonderful pictures -- as usual.

The bunny is so cute. You must have great eyesight, Jackie. Thanks for sharing with us.

Jackie, I haven't been watching much TV, but will be here for BB in July. What about you? Will you have some vacation by then? I always like your photos, thanks for putting them on.

Jackie, first thing I thought of when I saw the first shot of that itty, bitty, teeny, weeny little ball of fluff was that you must have eyes like an eagle.

Then Laurie said you must have great eyesight.

Great minds, think alike!! LOL

Has anyone started a BB countdown yet??

Laurie said...

Yes, great minds do think alike and we certainly have great minds!

Let's see, BB starts in July, right? Maybe 40 days or so?

Margo, I keep meaning to tell you I love your lime! Are you one of those quirky, fun people we all love to hang out with, or was this a once in a life time fling with a lime??

I can hardly wait to see what the 4th of July brings!!! : )

Ooooh so cute. I get these in my yard in the spring and summer. You just want to pick them up and hug/kiss/pet them. But that is bad!

Thanks for the pics. Hope all is well in Jackie's World!

PDX -
That is a difficult question to answer. I think I am fun - but I don't go out at all. I like wearing fun outfits or carry fun purses that either match my outfit or matches the theme of the event. I seem to be getting more bold as I get older - less worried about what others think.
I decided many years ago that I like to swim to much to worry about what I look like in a suit. I figure if you don't like what you see - DON'T LOOK.

I will have to work on some new friends so I can be the one everyone wants to hang with.

MArgo, may I be the first to sign up in your new group of friends? I already fit the profile!

Margo, I'll hang out with you anytime!

Great photos, Jackie! I hand raised little bunnies like that one time many years ago. The mama bunny had been killed by a dog & we found her babies. Fed them with an eyedropper at first. When they were big enough, I turned them loose back in the woods. They hung around for a long time. Now there is so much new development in the area there are no woods left.

Margo, I LOVE your attitude. Just bought me a new swimsuit after many years. And you're right on: it you don't like the way I look, then don't look!

I already count you guys among my friends - but you don't live near me. I affectionately call you my e-friends. Maybe one day we can meet in person.

Margo, I am with you, honey! I find myself dressing more to please me than when I was younger. I am almost 69 and continue to wear shorts. True enough, they are not "short" shorts, but they are shorts. I figure if people are laughing at me they are leaving someone else alone! My Momma will be 91 in July and she wore shorts in public until a few years ago.

So, go for it! We will be your e-friends! My WV is dragons! Guess the powers that be thought it should be something really old! (BEG)

So I was wondering if anyone saw UP over the weekend. My Mom & I plus my sister and her 16 & 18 yr old girls went yesterday. I personally thought it was very sad and parts were scary. The funny stuff in the middle was not enough to make we want to buy the DVD. I am a huge PIXAR fan but they are getting a little to preachy for me. Who knows maybe I am finally growing up and don't enjoy animated movies anymore. BUT
I LOVED Bolt (not Pixar) though - so maybe I just don't like to be preached to. Mom and could watch Finding Nemo, Toy Story 1 & 2, Monsters Inc over and over and not tire of them. I fact we have seen them several times and own the DVDs.
We saw WALL-E and once was enough of that one for me.

I was just wondering cause everything I read about the movie is A++ or LOVED IT. My family gave it a B-.

Margo, I didn't see it, so I am no help. My husband and daughter love Cars and watch it over and over.

Becky, loved the dragon wv.

Margo--I'm with you about the preaching....these are animated movies, geared for little kids(and us big ones)....these "messages" that PIXAR is trying to get across go over the little ones heads. I felt that way about The Bee Movie and Wall.E. I have been waiting to take the grandkids to see UP but now I'm not so sure.....

BTW--I love to dress up in costumes, too. And I don't care what people think about how I look or what I wear. At this stage of life it's all about COMFORT!! I think we could be great friends!!

Have a good day all....only 38 days until BB11.....YAY!

I talk about you all all the time and refer to you as my Jackie's blog friends or my online pals... I've also met a few really great pals who came to comment on my own blog. It tickled me to hear you do that too Margo. I think many of our families know of all of us this way.

Margo, I like your way of thinking!! In fact, I'm going to make it my way too ~ very soon! I'm heading to Disneyland in a little over a month with my daughter & grandson. I've already decided that I'm not going to be covering up in long pants and long sleeves, but I was balking at the idea of a swimsuit.

I'm no spring chick with an itty bitty figure. In fact, I went over the hill many years ago and I could make two of some people. But after reading your comments, as well as Jennasmom, Becky and Nana's I'm going to go find myself a swimsuit!!

My WV is wicarti. That rhymes with Biccarti (sp). I don't know much about tropical drinks, but it seems to me that if we add lime and an umbrella, we have one. That must be a sign! We're meant to be e-friends!! : )

See how easy that was? No work at all!

Great pictures of the little bunny, Jackie. I live in the country and you see more wild animals than I do!

Hi Margo! Thanks for running the pool. Can't wait for BB to start.

I haven't seen Up yet, and I've heard mixed reviews from friends. I didn't like Wall-E at all, thought it was too dark and I fell asleep during the movie.

I loved Toy Story and Finding Nemo, though!

I always think of you regulars as my e-friends. One of our friends says "e-see you tomorrow" and I just love that!
