Tonight, Tonight

I won't be able to post the results for So You Think You Can Dance or I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here tonight because I'm heading into the city after work to meet up with blog buddies RBennie and Becky after work. We're going to have dinner (food is always a good thing) and I don't anticipate being home until the shows are over.

No, I won't be taking a taxi into Manhattan. I'll just take the train, thank you very much. I spotted this NYC cab in nearby Westfield on Monday. I have no clue what it would cost!

If someone would be so kind as to post who got the boot on both shows, please have at it!

Well Jackie, you know how jealous all of us are of Rbennie and Becky and your meet up with them tonight. Wish we could all be there.

I'm sure someone will give the stats on who goes home tonight on SYTYCD.

As for IACGMOOH, (almost looks like a curse word) I'm so behind on watching (taped) that I'll be of no help. Personally could care less who goes home on this show. Only watch it for Lou and Sanjaya. And I don't think anyone goes home tonight do they???

Anyway, have a ball on your night out with cyber friends and tell us all about it tomorrow. Pictures, pictures, pictures...PLEASE!

Jackie... you could always try to catch the Cash Cab... isn't that guy in New York? I'm assuming it's still a current show. We watch it on occasion.

I'm dumber than dirt tho, so it wouldn't do me any good to find out I was in it...

Enjoy tonight.

BTW... where is everybody. I posted early this morning and again now, nobody in between.

I haven't watched SYTYCD or the Celebrity one, but will still check in here to see how they go tonight.

Jackie, have fun tonight.

I have been watching Nurse Jackie and love it. It is on Showtime, but is good enough to be around for a while.

Hi Jackie ... I hope you are all enjoying your time together this evening. I sure wish I could join you and I know a lot of other folks feel the same way.

I don't watch either show but I'm counting the days until BB gets going. I do like this: IACGMOOH just because it does look like a swear word. The show doesn't interest me, though. In fact, the couple that they managed to make news with were unknowns to me. I guess Celebrity is in the eye of the beholder!

pea green eyes I have right now....so jealous that you and Ruth and Becky all get to meet....hug each other for me!!!

ok note on Cash Cab...out here during it there is a commerical for Pauma Indian casino...my friend Paul and his wife were there....he won a $300 jackpot and they filmed him for a commercial showing his excitement...back story...they made 8 takes...he kept saying PALA, or HARRAHS instead of Pauma!!

I personally Like John Salley and Patti on Celebrity...I wish they would vote out Janice its painful to watch her...

Meb, they're voting out two "celebs" tonight. Terry, I hope that Janice leaves tonight, too. What an awful person she is.

I just read that Melissa Roycroft of Bachelorette and DWTS fame has been signed on as a "contributor" on Good Morning America. She will do eight appearances with "fun, lighthearted pieces". She starts next week. I'm happy for her. I'll bet Jason takes a peek.

Miss Montag, (Holly) and whew, Janice have left the jungle. I thought Holly was so sweet compared to her fame-crazy sister.

I almost forgot. DEXTER starts its fourth season on Sept. 27.

The DVD for season 3 comes out on Aug. 18. Just FYI.

Thanks JoyN, I like Dexter and will probably rewatch some just before the new season starts.

I will watch Melissa, I can see her bringing a lot of positive energy to an interview. There is a new 'stars' competition and I thought she might be on that, but haven't seen a listing yet. I have already forgotten the name of it.

Hi Jackie. I am sorry to hear that Janice has been voted off her show because she is so outrageous that she always ends up as one of the clips on Best Week Ever. I hope you are having a fun dinner in the city with two of my most favorite people. I am toasting to all of you. Chow, Auntie Leigh

Hi Jackie, I could not send you a note today with Rbennie, too busy at work. I agree with Terry, green with envy that I can't be there with you three!! Hope you all had fun, post pics if you can...

I'm not watching any of the shows right now, but do drop in to read your posts just don't have a comment.

Thanks joyn... I didn't know they were voting out tonight, but now I know why I didn't know... I'm so behind in watching because they're taped.

Well I for one am glad Janice is gone. She is one unbelievable lady and I use the term loosely.

SYTYCD...Max is gone (ballroom dancer) and I don't know the girls name, but I think she's the dark haired girl who tried other times to get in top twenty and finally made it this time...

And Evan's brother they showed got to try out again for next year and he's going to Vegas again... YAY.. I really like him... he did a tap dance again, but he didn't wear the hat. They're still have tryouts in two more cities.

joyn--thanks for the info about Melissa. I was hoping she would get picked up by some TV show. She definitely has the "look" for TV. I can always count on you to have the inside scoop on what's happening on TV. BTW--Friday Night Lights starts back in the fall, right?
Does anyone know when Leverage will begin again. It's usually a summer start.

Jackie--hope you had a great time with Becky and RBennie!

21 days until BB!!! YAY

I love Leverage!!!

Jackie said Leverage starts Wednesday, July 15 at 9p.m. Can't wait... I love the imaginative ways they accomplish things. All of them are really smart in each of their "crafts".

Becky... tell us about last night as soon as you can... we're dieing to hear.

Well how jealous are all of you? I had the absolute pleasure of dining with Jackie and Becky last night. We met up at a restaurant near Penn Station in Manhattan and the hours just flew by. We seriously could have talked for several more hours if it wasn't getting so late. Jackie is even more warm and engaging in person than she is in print. Becky is a true southern belle with just the right amount of sass thrown in. We had a great time and I look forward to meeting up again.

Ruth, I'm so glad you all had a good time. Funny how time flies when any of us meet up. The same thing happened with PDX Granny and me last year. I'm getting a chuckle imagining you two New Yorkers chatting with a southern belle. Did you slow down or did Becky speed up? You know we love you and are all glad you three got together.

Thanks Rbennie for letting us know how the evening went. I'm so glad you posted here. Very thoughtful.
