The sun is shining and the local parade will be starting soon here in Plainfield, NJ. We've had so much rain this year that I think it just might be a miracle that the weather is cooperating with the holiday.
I hope everyone enjoys the holiday and can take some time with friends and family. Parades, cook-outs, fireworks ... yay! Enjoy!

Great graphics, Zoetawny! Good to see you "back". I hope you all have a wonderful Fourth. I just wish it would rain on OUR parade.

HAPPY HAPPY 4th of July
I am going into my Dad's and we are doing a simple meal. Steak for him and hots dogs for Conny and I. The sun is shining here now, but who knows later.
A huge fireworks will be later at Penn State, but they have an all-day party/picnic going on. Too many peeps for me. I will drive somewhere, turn the radio to the channel that broadcasts the music that the fireworks are set off to and be home in 5 minutes vs hours to get away from that mess.

Happy 4th from San Diego, where the weather is always just right for a parade. Not that I'm going to one, but there will be a few in town.

We didn't go to our parade today -- or anything else. TOO HOT!!! It's 104 and almost 7 pm. Horrible! Spent the day in the A/C, running out to move the sprinkler every once in awhile. We're not in the city, so we don't have the water restrictions that they have ----yet. Will have to watch fireworks on TV as they are banned here due to the dry conditions. Jackie, send us some of your rain!!!!

Not doing much this weekend. Put up one of those $80 plastic pools and will lounge around in that. Other than that...nada!
