Big Brother 11: Chima Blow Out Show Blog Party

The show has started here on the East Coast. This post will be updated with major events as it airs, but the real fun is in the comments section. Everyone is welcome, bring your own snacks and beverages! Later tonight my show review will be posted on TV Squad.

Are you ready for the Chima meltdown?

Mic thrown in pool, refusing commands. Allison Grodner herself called her to the DR and told her there was no need to sit ... "go out this way." Um, I call she got the boot even though she was saying she wanted to quit.

It's scary that Lydia is being the voice of reason with Natalie over it.

Since Michele's nominee Chima left, they're playing for HOH. It was a comp in which they could take prizes won by those eliminated before them. Jordan won and snagged the HOH key from Lydia -- Jordan is the new HOH. And Lydia is one mad little so-and-so.

Jordan nominated Lydia and Natalie.

It sounds like Thursday might be an endurance ... they said POV, eviction and "start of another HOH." We'll see!

Even though I am very dissappointed in Chima, after watching the episode I understand her point of view a bit more. When you think about it, it was kind of bogus that Big Brother/Jeff completely made her week of HOH 100% obsolete. Here it is she is HOH and has earned it and plans on targeting a specific person (Russ) and all of a sudden everything is stripped away and now she's on the bottom. So, I understand that point, but disagree with how she simply gave up because of it....Though the CDT power does seem very unfair..it should have been 1 nominee instead of both or something. Then again, the House guests pretty much guessed what the CDT did before it was announce and a smart player would have nominated accordingly and not be so sure of herself.

I find it so funny that the "18" year old Nat, is giving poker lesson to Russell and Jeff.

At one point of BBAD she mentions coming in 3 at a tournament in Las Vegas. There is NO WAY she would have played if she was "18". The casinos take their gambling licenses very seriously.

People crazy about Jeff but he is just as disrespectful calling a woman a bitch is never acceptable in my book.

women call each other bitch, whats the name of your book?
chima is a bitch?

Does anyone else see the correlation between this season and season 6: One guy gets eliminated (Eric/Jessie)and a cult forms (Nerd Herd/Nat, Chima, Lydia) in their honor. This then divides the house completely and tensions between the two form. It is obvious to America who the bad guys are and who the good guys are, but the Nerd Herd is completely unaware of it. What does this say about human nature. That's what I love best about BB. The circumstances provide the perfect laboratory for the study of human relationships.

though the Nerd Herd was a bit worse. They actually built a mini-shrine for Eric, remember.

This game is set up everything is turn for Jeff or Jordan to win they use America to get it turn in the direction they wanted from the beginning

I think the most likely reason there's been no POV competition yet is that they don't have one ready. They probably can't just substitute in the next HOH competition because it has to be playable on live TV Thursday night in about 6 minutes unless it's an endurance competition. Since they'd already had the Golf POV competition set up for the hamsters, they used it as HOH since it didn't have to be played live.

But that puts the physical side of production behind, at least if they're going to maintain the possibility of a double eviction on Thursday. If they want to keep that option open, they have to have an HOH and POV both ready to play live that will be completely resolved in about 5 mins each without ambiguities, like the standard Julie Chen "answer true/false" with the tiebreakers, and an endurance HOH for the end of the show.

Now, if Chima's eviction means they're scrapping Thursday's live double eviction, then they could use the POV contest already prepared, provided that it doesn't require Julie Chen to ask questions or something. But POV competitions are usually longer and require some physical skill, and they just may not have one ready to install in the back yard without messing up the plans for the next week or so. They didn't expect to need one after the golf game until Thursday, and I wouldn't bet money that they were too far ahead on the production.

As for Michele being "cheated" that her HOH reign was short, well, baloney. Whoever would have been HOH on Thursday night would have a 40-minute reign with no advance warning. Plus, she nominated Chima and Chima was evicted, so nothing needs to be made up to Michele. The eviction just wasn't by the house's vote. A nominee is gone and the HOH's work is done.

IMHO.

The one thing that really got me last night was n/k/l talking about how Mi totally backstabbed Chima and how Chima always had Mi's back. No she didn't. What about the green lie room, everyone jumped Mi about that and the one person who knew it wasn't true didn't say a word, did they? Chima was trying to win for her side just like they all are.

I really hope someone sees through nat's lies but you gotta admit she is good at it...Lying I mean.

Get over it with this poor Chima thing, It's a game the CDE wasnt something that made up for this season. people have earned it before, it just so happens that it was America who had the choice to give it whom ever that saw fit, this games chances all the time, how fair was it to give Jesse a second chance, and come in the house and given the HOH. Chima is the biggest FOOL that has ever darkened the BB house, and not to mention her obsession with Jesse what was that all about? what sane person would want to give up there chance for $500,000, so Jesse could come back in the house. Again the BIGGEST FOOL EVER!!!!!

I'm afraid that saying Lydia is the voice of reason isn't much when the comparison is to N & K.

Natalie's "RUNNING THE HOUSE"??

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

OMG! That chick (along with Chima and Lydia) = batshit crazy!!!

Ummm, Nastalie? Is/was Jessie aware that YOU were running the house? LOL I'd luvre to hear/see Jessie's reaction to that little doozy. :)
