Big Brother 11 Live Feeds - Friday Into Saturday 8/15 or Ding Dong, the Wicked Witch

Russell, the plain old non-terrorist yet perhaps imperfect dude, is pining over the loss of Chima from the Big Brother house. (Sure he is!)

Before it all went down, the mood of the house was obviously bothering Jordan.

All of Jeff's clothes were removed from the drawers and tossed around. He put them back and was more ticked each minute.

But the big news of the house from the overnight hours is ...

CHIMA HAS LEFT THE HOUSE

You heard me. She's gone, outta there, never to darken my live feeds again. She couldn't take the heat, so she's out of that kitchen!

Here's how the night went down in that Big Brother House of Parting Princesses:
  • Oh, it was so boring for so long. Natalie was reading the BB rules book, others were talking small talk.
  • Chima was in hiding under her blankets.
  • I really don't understand why the ex-Jessie crew was in such turmoil. They had their days at the top of the heap, didn't they know that tables can turn? I guess it's time they all learned a life lesson, eh?
  • Jeff finally got to eat. It's a wonder he hasn't lost his appetite with all of the hate going around in the house.
  • Natalie and Lydia, obviously over past differences and united in their blind worship of Jessie the Magnificent, bonded.
  • Chima hid from life.
  • When Jeff got called to the Diary Room, Natalie made a comment to the effect of "yeah, go find out how to #@$# with Chima, Natalie, and Lydia some more."
  • It's a GAME, gals! Sheesh! When they were on the top, the others didn't make snide comments all the time! What is up with these people?
  • Natalie said she's going to dump water all over their beds.
  • When their indoor lockdown was done, they went to the back yard to find a miniature golf type set-up.
  • Jeff wanted to keep on eating. He's one hungry guy after a week on slop!
  • Kevin went to Jeff and said he had nothing to do with messing with his belongings. He said he saw the girls move his own stuff into Jeff's drawers, so he took it out as he didn't want to get involved.
  • I think Kevin, who's remained alone most of the evening, is regretting his allegiance to Chima and the gals. He could have declared the other side long ago.
  • Chima finally emerged at Kevin's request.
  • Production told Chima to put on her microphone.
  • She flipped them off and ignored them.
  • Chima decided that she wouldn't let the others practice -- the golf game is obviously some sort of practice for the POV.
  • Chima threw her microphone into the hot tub.
  • Russell talked about his family coming here from Lebanon.
  • I don't think that makes him a terrorist.
  • Jeff got irked by the Goony Gals because they were deliberately hogging the washer/dryer when he wanted to do his clothes.
  • As Michele tried waiting her turn to practice golf, Natalie said they could hog it all night.
  • Didn't Cappy and Crew do something like that before one of the big brouhahas in that season? Try to intimidate the others during a comp practice scenario?
  • Of the two nominated, Jordan told Michele she'd like Natalie to go because Natalie wants to go after Jeff.
  • Little did she know ...
  • Chima gathered laundry, then went to go sit on the washing machine so she could put hers in before Jeff (who was already not so patiently waiting for the machine).
  • Chima and Natalie talked -- Natalie admitted she was the one who messed with Jeff's clothes. No surprises there for me as Chima was in hiding under covers and feeling sorry for herself.
  • Jordan told her men (Russell and Jeff) that she heard the others were going to pour hot sauce on all of their clothes. She thinks everyone should put their stuff up in the HOH room to keep it safe.
  • Chima kept making nasty comments to the camera. She's either being nasty to us (America's fault she's in the predicament she is) or to production (it's their fault, too!).
  • Lydia brought up that Russell hit her with a ball (a few weeks ago) and BB "let it go and didn't do anything."
  • BB once again told Chima to put her microphone on.
  • Jeff told Jordan he didn't want to have to hide his clothes and act like he's scared.
  • Jeff said, "This is the most miserable cast ever with the biggest bitch on reality TV ever."
  • He said it, not me. But I must agree. Not the whole cast, but ...!
  • Chima told Natalie that even though she hates Russell, she would vote for him to win over Michele, Jordan, or Jeff.
  • I guess she just can't understand why people aren't in love with the princess?
  • Every time they talked about production (unfair, picking on them, taking Jeff's side, etc.), we got blocked feeds.
  • The Battle of the Laundry continued.
  • Chima took Russell's hat and hid it.
  • Lydia said that Jordan is "dumb as a box of hair."
  • Chima said that she shouldn't be called the 5th HOH, just call her the 6th nominee to be evicted thanks to production. Then she gave the finger to said production. Or to me.
  • @@
  • Kevin told Michele that the three girls (Lydia, Natalie, Chima) are acting like they're a cult and their beloved leader (Jessie) died.
  • I think it's too little too late for ya, Kevin. You chose your gal Chima. It's going to be hard to switch sides now, don't you think?
  • Then came a loooong feeds blockage.
  • What? The feeds are back and Chima is nowhere to be seen? Could she be hiding under the covers again?
  • What? They're talking about possibly no eviction this week? They're talking about replacing a houseguest?
  • Oh my. Whatever in the world can be going on? Where's Waldo Chima?
  • Russell said her first meeting will be with the legal department.
  • Ohhhh!
  • Jeff said, "And then there were seven. They're going to black that out!"
  • Ohhhh!
  • Then they worried that Chima may have taken some of their belongings.
  • Russell told Michele that Chima was trying to bait him in the morning, almost like she wanted him to go after her with the knife he was using in the kitchen.
  • It wouldn't surprise me. She wanted to get him mad enough to hit her before so he could get the boot.
  • Meanwhile, there seems to be a loose cannon (okay, maybe a firecracker in perspective) in the Jeff, Michele, Jordan, and Russell faction.
  • Russell seems to be trying to work Michele against Jeff a bit.
  • It's not working. Michele said that she never had any intention to vote Jeff out.
  • Jordan, Jeff, Russell, and Michele talked about Chima's anger issues. Jordan hadn't heard the rape story.
  • They all agree she needs professional help.
  • Natalie is now not only in worship of Jessie, she's agog with Chima, too.
  • "That was HUGE! She threw her microphone in the hot tub!"
  • False idols, I say.
  • Apparently Allison Grodner herself came out during whatever the final straw was.
  • We don't know for sure if Chima got the boot or if she DOR'd (voluntary exit).
  • But we know that ...
DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD
WHICH OLD WITCH?
THE WICKED WITCH!

BUH-BYE, CHIMA
DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU ON THE WAY OUT!

OMG!!! This is wonderful!!!

I was getting really tired of watching her drama all the time.

It makes you wonder why these people got onto the reality show if they aren't willing to do whatever is necessary to win.

ChicMc said...

I am really surprised that she just gave up like that.

It is truly a case of biting off your nose to spite your face.

I don't think in her case it was because of Jessie worship, it was that her HOH power was stripped.(stating the obvious?)

Shouldn't be anybody allowed to mess with the Queen's power!

y'know...y'all are going to hate it, but they could return Jessie to the house from sequester and let Michelle replace the nom and go ahead with the rest of the week as planned.

If not, I assume they will just go ahead with the double eviction as planned.

Love that Chima (in a viewer sort of way), she keeps things interesting!!!

Actually, the people playing the best right now are Michelle and Kevin and, possibly Jordan. They are the only ones who don't have a target on their backs.

This is kinda like the Janelle season where the two power blocks kept targetting each other until only floaters were left. You could see it in the HOH comp this week where Michelle NEVER got picked to play until she was the only option left. Jeff and Russell kept going after Natalie and Chima which wiped out both groups. I know Michelle has sort of chosen sides at this point, as has Kevin, but Michelle/Kevin/Jordan are the only ones who aren't directly in the line of fire and if they keep their heads down for the next few weeks, they'll probably find themselves in the final 4 as Natalie et al and Jeff et all pick each other off whenever they get the opportunity.

Even if Jeff et al get lucky and win the next couple of HOH/POV comps to eliminate Nat/Lydia, it still leaves Kevin, Michelle and probably Russell as the new power block.

So far, Jeff has gotten very lucky and everything has broken perfectly in his post CD'E life. Michelle winning HOH and Chima melting down have actually blurred the target on his back.

The one who really has benefitted the most and, sadly, I would think is the favorite to win it all at this point is Russell. He cast a vote for Jessie, which will help with Lydia/Natalie. He went from being the biggest target in the house to about the 3rd or 4th biggest (after Natalie, Jeff and probably Lydia). And in a house that is increasingly populated by physically weaker players, he would have to be considered a favorite in any physical comp.

I don't know that the CD'E did Jeff any favors in the long run but it was HUGE for Russell.

For maximum drama, I'm for a Jessie return to take Chima's place on the block. How awesome would THAT be to watch?

Turning into a horrible but wonderful BB season. I'm very excited.

RyzandShyn said...

I think that although Chimas's attacker received the death penalty for his actions, those who are unfair to her in any manner must also pay for their crime, and she will dole out that punishment herself.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder sometimes works that way.

Wow-oh-Wow is all I can say.

I hope Kevin thinks a little about his position in the house now. He seems to be an OK type person who hooked-up with the wrong crowd without realizing how messed-up their individual/collective thinking was.

Joe in NY said...

BTW, if we bring The Man, The Myth, The Legend back to BB, he could tie Kaysar's record for evictions from the House!!! LOL

Then, if they put him on an all-star edition, he could hold the record alone!! He would be The Man, The Myth, The Legendary BB Evictee!!

I doubt they will bring anyone back since it was a double eviction week anyway. I should just be a single eviction. And in the past they voted as to who to bring back.

I don't get the whole Lydia thing. Jeff's twist and sending home of Jesse quite possible have saved her butt. She should be grateful to Jeff for taking her off she was just 1 swing vote away from leaving herself. Dumb girl!

Ariel said...

I don't see them taking anyone out of the Jury house, because they need an odd number of people in there. I could maybe see any of the other HG from before that being brought back in.

Delee said...

I just hope they do not bring back the last hamster evicted and we all know who that was...

All her drama and her followers caused the feeds to be blocked too much...

ChicMc said...

Maybe they should just bring back Kaysar. :)

Delee said...

Laurie....her lips have been zipped permanently...

Someone will have to be brought back as a replacement person for the one now missing jury member.

Horrible yet wonderful....yes, that sums it up nicely.

I kinda sorta like Russell at this point and am maybe even secretly glad that things fell nicely for him.

I think they will probably have to nix the double eviction this week, unless they planned two this year and can nix the other one. I haven't sat with a calendar and figured out how many weeks are left yet. Anything they can do to shorten the time the final two are in there would be good. Remember the year Allison and Jun were in there so long that by the time they came out we hated both of them?

Just leave Jesse where he is, thanks.

If Chima is out, then she probably won't go to the jury house, which means there would only be 6 at the end, not seven. They need an odd amount of people (so there wouldn't be a tie)so they would have to do something. I don't know what the BB rules say but this should be interesting!!!

Ariel said...

It kind of stinks, because anyone they bring in has watched the whole season already. Do they keep back ups in sequester just in case?

lynn1 said...

I hope that Chima's first stop after leaving will be with mental health professional. I think she needs serious help.
I would hope rather than bringing Jessie back that the current HH would be able to vote someone from this season back in. This of course would give the GG an advantage unless it was Ronnie.
I would like to see Casey or Laura come back.

Ariel said...

I think Nat/Lyd would be besides themselves if they brought back someone from the "other" side of the house. They might just leave themselves.

Jackie S. said...

Another possibility is that America could be the 7th jury vote. I'd rather that than bringing Jessie back right now. And it would solve the even jury issue.

lynn1 said...

Jackie, I like your idea. I hope AG and the BB staff are smart enough to come up with that solution and try that.

ChicMc said...

Would America's vote count only in the event of a tie?

Jackie S. said...

ChicMc - I just threw the idea out there. As far as I know, the show doesn't have a plan.

Jayne said...

There is an interview with Jessie on EX.com. Check it out. I am so happy Chima is gone. It is a game and Chima, Natalie and Lydia have taken it to such an angry nasty place, it is disgusting.

RyzandShyn said...

I was thinking that too, Jackie. Giving America a jury vote would work well. They could have us submit questions, make us part of that F2 Q&A that takes place.
I like that better than bringing someone back in. Even if we voted on who that might be I don't think it'd be fair. Once you're out, you should remain out imo.

lynn1 said...

I am guessing Chima's departure will be announced on Sunday's show.
Do you think they will give us an explaination of if she used the DOR or was kicked off?

It seems like I remember when past HG maked noise about using the DOR, they were convinced not to use it in diary room sessions.

I wonder if Chima did indeed use the DOR if BB made any attemp at all to change her mind?

sandaroo said...

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank god she's gone!!! My god this one will go down in BB history. I was watching last night & they kept telling Chima to put on her microphone & she kept fipping them off. And taking peoples personal property, c'mon grow up. Glad she's gone. I agree they should probably have one eviction this week instead of DE. Who do you think Michelle will put up in her place?? Lydia??

sandaroo said...

You know what kills me??? How many people try to get on this show & this is what we get??(Chima, Lydia & Natalie??) They have a chance to win alot of money & they all sit there & whine about Jesse?? Why the heck did they come on the show then?? Makes no sense to me.

Somewhere, over the rainbow ... What lovely news to wake up to.

I agree with others who have said Chima needs help and I hope she gets it. Her behavior was so out of line and cruel. She needed to be stopped for her own sake, imho. Glad she is out of the house. I'll have to make a new avatar now!

The question I have now is what will this do to Natalie and how she plays the game? She is one angry little gal herself and has already shown how mean-spirited she can be. Will she just get meaner or will she tone it down?

Stay tuned!

I bet CBS is second guessing their decision to not air the Dirty Deeds of Shema last week. Now viewers who only saw the sanitized version on Thursday (really all season) and who do not visit blogs or have feeds will think the big, bad network conspired against the poor little thing.

Not only that, but by not airing and by not letting the Witch lose last week to show her behind, they lost an opportunity to pick up viewers for the rest of the season.

Frankly, it serves them right!

WV: notionne - whoever's notionne it was to clean up what America saw of the witch will probably be fired.

Becky said...

Deelee, love the avatar.

Jackie, letting America vote on the winner would be great -- but it is too good of an idea for Alley and CBS to adopt.

Jackie, thanks for the excellent front page post.

Goodie said...

Pathetic. Pure and simple. How they managed to get so many ungrateful castmates is beyond me. Chima Lydia and Natalie don't realize this is a game. They were fine when they were voting everyone off. Jesse was so proud of that. NOW....everything is evil and "Jesse"s Girls" want to ruin clothes...hog the washer and dryer...it is all so selfish and stupid. PLEASE DON'T BRING BACK JESSE. I would stop watching. It would be like giving a reward to the 3 girls for bad behavior. PlEASE don't do that CBS. Chima needed to go. She was full of hate. I am not a Russell fan but calling him a Muslim Terrorist was not right. This is the worst BB ever. They need a new crew to pick houseguests. America doesn't need angry mean houseguests.
Chima is gone because she is made about the CDT. That is amazing. She is old enough to know this was a game and it was fine when she was in control....but Jeff has taken a beating just because America likes nice people!!!

JUST DON'T BRING BACK JESSE!!!!

BJ said...

Lydia CUTS herself, people by her own admission! Wy do you expect her to be rational?

Chima is upset because someone finally said "NO" to her. She was the one who was mad at Nat for not following BB requests. Hot tub-mike. Kettle-black.

I agree no one back (unless BB wants ratings and they do) and a single evection this week.

Kevin can use the angle he voted for Nat to leave (flip side of Russ argument), not that it will work

Great idea Jackie - I would love to have a vote on the final winner.

I was watching on SHO2 up until about 11pm last night (I get the actual live East Coast SHO2 feeds on cable from 9-midnight Pacific time) and there were no fireworks at that point. It was soooo boring unless you like to watch people eating and eating and eating or doing that miniature golf thing. I guess I should have stayed up later and watched ChiaPet have her melt down. Do they do the Fishies or trivia thing when there is a meltdown during SHO2 hours??

sandaroo said...

Just watched the interview of Jessie on the insider.com with Ross Matthews. Boy does he make an ass out of himself. It's a great interview... very funny when Ross asks him what happened with Lydia under the sheets & Jessies face turned 10 shades of red. It's a must see !

Thank you Jackie ! I will read every word of your post and the comments as soon as I can. But, right now I just have a minute. I followed some of the middle of the night stuff. One thing I noticed that you might already have mentioned, is that Chima was asleep or in bed when Kevin went in to wake her up to practice the golf. That is when the mic throwing and everything else began. I wonder if Kevin wishes he had left her to sleep or is glad it began the process?

a poster at Jokers said this happened:

She threw the $5000 microphone into the water and refused to wear a new one or something.

Someone on Jokers said this is what happened (while bbad was still on and Allison was just coming in or something)

Mike: Hey Guys, can you all come into the Livingroom please? We need to have a house meeting.

.... ... they speak .... ....

AG: You will be paying for the mic pack Chima, this will come out your Stipend.

Chima: You know what? ***** this *****. I'm outta here. love you, nat--you too Lydia. *throws something* (her mic?)

She presses the diary room button, it doesn't go green, she tries to pull the door open (EVERYONE is in the living room sitting down btw) and Chima says "don't ***** with me, open this damn door. NOW!"

Then Nat and Lydia want to leave with her, but production asks them to remain a moment..

AG: Everyone, PLEASE calm down!

Lydia gets up and tries to open the DR door, bangs on it, crying.

Chima was SCREAMING at AG! The entire control room was told to record everything in case something happened. Security may have been there too. -jeannemarie

Laurie said...

jeannemarie,
Thanks for that inside info. I suspect we haven't heard/seen the last of the Chima Drama. In her mind none of this is her fault and she will take it as far as she can for all kinds of reasons. They were smart to keep the cameras rolling so it's documented.

Gosh, her family and friends must be so proud of her.

GREAT POINT I TOTALLY AGREE....sweet dreams... if Jessy hehe) did come back he would take Chima's place on the block only to get the boot again, Kevin, Jordan, and Russell would vote him out again, Russell is sitting in the cat bird's seat right now, it's no way he's going to vote Jessy back in that house. Kevin would be scared to death, being that he voted Jessy out before. and Jessy has figured out who actually voted to evict him. So if I was him and they offered me a chance to come back I would say no thanks "Anerica already hates me" because that is what he implied in his interview. it's all America's fault. "THE WICKED WITCH IS DEAD" I'm with JACKIE!!!

Just got on and haven't read the comments yet, only Jackie's post so far.

Great day in the morning!

Chima is gone and I don't care if they threw her out or if she's a quitter. She's gone! I'll bet Natalie starts behaving a little better. Not messing with others belongings. I do believe Nat's days are soooo numbered now.

Sounds like they better think about getting Russell out of there soon, too.

Michele must have meant what she said about an alliance with the ggs.

Jesse's harem are absolutely the worst cases of poor sportsmanship I've seen on this show.

Guess Chima somehow came into that house thinking her wonderful personality would win over all there and they would just hand her the game win. Poor Chima. NOT!

Laurie said...

I think it would be a huge mistake to bring anyone back into the house. BB has to be thinking about damage control at this point.

I do hope the Weeping Widows don't turn Chima into a martyr. Let it go, women and get back in the game.

Let's put some fun back in the house and smiles back on those sour faces. They all need to remember it's a game and they are there to win the money!

Sally said...

Expect the unexpected, indeed! Love the way you put your post together, Jackie.

Didn't BB have American vote one time to decide which evicted houseguest should return to the house? I think that America selected Kaysar to return. Don't remember if that happened other times too.

I agree, Becky. But if she had gotten kicked out last week, Jesse may have been allowed to stay. Who knows?

Good point Goodie...it would be an reward for be bad behavior...then what would they have ne_t season.

I feel bad for her grandmother, I think even this was too much after she said what she said about Chima's behavior...

um. wow.

My dreams came true, but at what expense? How on earth can Chima have any pride? Character, dear, is not who we are when things are going our way, but how we react when they do not. What a spoiled brat. I feel bad for her grandparents -- they seemed so sweet.

From the ads on tv last night, it looked as though the producers were planning to show some of the fallout from the post coup d'etat. Now we might need a two hour show Sunday night to get the story to the non-spoiler-craving types!

PlaidChick said...

I cannot believed this has happened. She needed to go. The HG's should of followed their instincts and got rid of her week 1

I don't know what kind of medication Chima is supposedly on, she did mention it, but as we have mentioned, the psych evaluations suck to get into house. And what others have mentioned: so many people try out for this show, to win a lot of money, and this is what we get??! They have taken mic packs out of stipens before, big whoop.

They better not bring Jessie back. They can't bring Ronnie back or Casey because they haven't been sequestered. Who knows at this point.

It is a good thing they kept the cameras on. You can bet that biotch has suing on her mind. I imagine she tried to get Allison or security or anyone to hit her. She may have even hit someone. So having to pay for the mike is what made her lose it, finally. What a fruitcake! Who cares? She's gone.

I really hope they show America who Chima really is tomorrow night. Only two witches left to go.

I'm fairly certain that I heard an interview with Allison Grodner in a past season discussing the various mechanisms and contingency plans in place for just something like this.

In that, I am positive she said that America would vote and it would count in the event of a tie. Given the finale is live, that means only East Coast and Central time zones would get a vote. I suspect it would be text votes. Unless, of course, they allow us to vote prior to the show.

I am thrilled that Chima DOR'd. I have no facts on that yet, but knowing Allison, she does everything she can to smooth things over and get the kiddies to play it out. My guess is she said play ball or leave and Chima opted to leave.

Good riddance!

How in the world can Chima, Lydia and Nat excuse their behaviour? Why did they join the show if they didn't want to play? They are an embarrassment to young females. It's the entitlement thing. Time to grow up.
ps. I think however Chima left is a good thing. Leaving will save what is left of her reputation.

Kinda of ironic: A while back Lydia seemed like the emotionally fragile person who was on the verge of a breakdown, while Chima was this self-proclaimed strong, intelligent woman who came from a long line of strong women. The tables have turned.

Chima's last HOH twitter message was:: "With all my 'observations' you may think that I'm not grateful, but I am. This is a fun experience with highs/lows, ups/downs. Much like life."

How things change!

This whole click thing makes me think. I would have thought that just by looking at the cast that I would like Lydia, Kevin, Chima and Nat because they are different and would have depth and figure that Laura, Jeff, Jordan and Russ were shallow just judging by looks. It turns out to be the other way around. I guess it is a lesson in sterotyping and judging a book by the cover.

Becky said...

I agree that if they brought Jesse back his butt would be out the door again before he could take off his shirt.

I think if CBS is wise they will let it get to the final two and stop for the night. They could then tell America to vote for who they want and that it will be counted as the vote Chima would have had. Then during the final show they could let the jury know how America cast their vote.

I think Kevin realizes he pooped his pants when he sided with Shema.

It will be interesting to see how CBS handles the flair up. If they are smart, they will make the first part showing not just this final outburst, but last weeks display too.

PC, I agree with your comment that BB really needs to reevaluate their psych evaluations. They also need to reevaluate their policy on messing with other hamsters property. That should be strictly off limits. If the HG take or destroy anything (not just CBS property) compensation should be taken from the offenders stripend at $100 for messing what does not belong to you to $1,000 if they destroy someone elses property. If more than one person is involved, hit them all with a fine.

I am in agreement that Chepet was not upset by Jessie leaving. I think she went postal because her HOH didn't matter any more than a bucket of spit.

WV: coniess - Don't you know that Shema is coniess this morning? (Hey, best I could do.)

I hope they keep Lydia in the house until after Natalie has left, cause we all know that she just want to be with Jessie and Jessie just want to be with Natalie.

Chima would have been fine if she or Nasty had won HOH this week. Even if Nat and Lydia were put up instead, she would have not been such a spoiled brat. She's a sore loser...that's all.

joy n said...

Just watched both interviews on CBS with Jesse. He's still an egomaniac. He really did blush beet-red when he lied about what he did with Lydia. He really thinks America did him in. When Ross said he needed to take some blame by not winning the HOH, (because he wouldn't have been a nom) he actually admitted that was true but the rest of the interview was good ol' Jesse making excuses about getting ripped off by the Cd'E. Sour grapes isn't a strong enough phrase for this sore loser. Says he will be selling those shirts and making some money for himself instead of others making money off him. Poor baby. He's wearing the shirt with Ross and he keeps smoothing it down for the camera. He just can't keep his brawn from sufficating his brains. Bye,bye, sore loser.

joy n said...

Even Ross told him the Cd'E is part of the game. Jesse asked Ross, "Who should get the Cd'E, the one who has control of the game or the underdog?" Ross said. "The underdog." Hee,hee!

joy n said...

Jesse also said that Jeff would have been crazy not to use the Cd'E. In this game, a truer statement has never been spoken. It must have killed him to say that again. Hope to never hear from this jerk ever again.

WV miess- What a miess Chima has gotten herself into.

Anonymous said...

I will be very interested in hearing how and if the gap of one less hg is filled. I think if I were CBS I would be tempted to let all the loss of power of that vote stay with Chima. I wouldn't replace her on the block. People could vote out her (in her absence) or Nat. If Nat stayed I would continue to have Chima's spot as an empty vote. It is neutral when her name is called in the vote. If that makes a tie they can deal with the tie breaker. I don't like the idea of any subsitutions being made to the house of jury. I do not believe CBS will take this path, but I wish they would.

Anonymous said...

I also think that BB/CBS/SuperPass are letting down their clients. If, for whatever reasons, they didn't feel they could broadcast the parts of the show I pay to see, then they owe it to live feed viewers to give us a special update. Allison Grodner could have come on the feeds and given a statement. HOH Michelle could have read anything BB asked her to read to the feed cams. Julie could have done it. All they had to do was acknowledge their paying viewers.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, instead of blocked feeds and now all cameras are on 2 people sleeping. Whut?

I'm thinking CBS will tell Michele to replace Chima with another nominee and continue the game as usual until Thursday. Then they will have their "fast forward double eviction" but with a twist. After two houseguests are evicted, one of them will be allowed to come back. Since there aren't any sequestered houseguests to bring back one of the evictees from Thursday will come back (hopefully America's choice). Sound possible?

Sally said...

With Chima's histrionics behind them, I hope the houseguests can start having some fun with each other. They are "playing" a game after all. Strategize and build alliamces, sure, but drop the insults, the personal attacks, the need for revenge, the desire to destroy.

Sally said...

DKNYNC, That plans sounds like it could work, especially if they limited the voting time to a day or two. If Natalie and someone else were evicted on Thursday, then American could vote to bring back Jessie, Natalie or that someone else. The winning player could be back in the house by Saturday/Sunday, and they could tweak the schedule of nominations and POV to accommodate that. (I'm sure my vote would be for that someone else, whoever that might be.)

Delee said...

Crap seems like they are going to hold another HOH in just a few...so double elim after all and Nasty is safe...

Sharon S said...

Nasty MAY be safe....let's hope Jeff or Jordan or Russell wins the HOH. It stinks that Michele loses her week of safety because Chima is a sore loser.

Joe in NY said...

Y'know, not to excuse Chima's behavior or anything, but wtf did CBS expect would happen if you take a rape survivor and throw her into a house with a bunch of steroidal men. The emotional stress of the house causes even somewhat level-headed people to freak out on occasion.

Let's see, so far we've had Lydia wanting to cut herself, Chima wanting Russell to hit her, Russell and Jessie chin to chin, Russell and Jeff in a shouting match for the ages, Natalie and Casey, Natalie and Lydia. From a viewer standpoint, casting borderline personalities is gold! From a humanitarian standpoint, it is utter madness.

wv is "misses": No one misses Chima. Everyone misses Jetski.

Delee said...

I wonder what BB has been allowing the hamsters to drink...special delusional Kool-Aid?

monty924 said...

I actually agree with Joe in his last post. All but the last sentence. I don't miss Jetski! :)

I stayed up until 5:00 this morning and after over an hour of fish, I figured the producers were meeting with them. The threats were getting out of hand, so it was obvious that they needed to step in. Lydia was threatening to put Red M&Ms in Michele's drink for pete's sake. Michele is allergic to red dye. Nice, Lydia!!!

The new HOH comp sucks for Michele. She isn't safe for the week when she earned it on Thursday night. Chima was allowed to play for HoH - why not allow Michele to?

Joe in NY said...

monty924, that is the first time you've ever agreed with me...I may cry!!!

Chima normally wouldn't have been HOH eligible, it was only because of the coup. Michelle had all the rights and privileges of HOH, just didn't last a week. They do it once every season with the double elimination. Actually, Chima saved Michelle a headache (IMHO) and actually helped Michelle's game. Chima's exit doesn't have Michelle's fingerprints all over it and she saved herself a difficult decision should the POV have gone to Natalie or Chima or even Lydia if she decided to use it.

In a way, Michelle got luckier than Jeff. Chima went bye, bye, is (I believe) NOT on the jury, and Michelle didn't have to spend the whole week locked in the usual political BS associated with HOH and POV etc.

Way to go Michelle!!! Her odds are increasing exponentially by the day.

I repeat, that is great news for Michelle! Her hands stay clean and, though she lost some of the HOH perks, she got rid of an adversary without getting her hands terribly dirty. On top of that, you would hope it would make the other hgs feel a bit chastened about their more extreme behaviors. It could have been a pretty ugly week otherwise.

I wonder if we'll see it tomorrow or we'll have to wait until Tuesday.

Wow, I loved the two parter of Jeff's speech. It starts off rationally offering everyone a clean slate to get alone. It is a game and everyone wants to win. Nat goes into her attack dog mode, saying she was better friends with Chima than with Jess, that Nat doesn't lie (yeah I know) and trying to show that she (Nat) is the rational one.

Than Jeff goes into Part Two of his speech where he tells them to leave him alone of he will go off on all of them.

Very good to see both parts of the speech.

My opinion on Lydia is that it is just another of her attention - seeking behaviors. She saw all the efforts on the Chima battle front and wants that for herself.
Because as someone stated, if she leaves there is no Jessie reunion.

Have you noticed that whenever she insults people, she says the things that posters have been saying about her. Isn't there a name for this?

WV nuust- pretty close to nuts LOL

Before nominations yesterday, (seems a long time ago doesn't it !) didn't Lydia say she would take one of them (maybe Chima) off if L won the veto, even if Lydia was up? It sounds like Lydia is making herself the target so Nat can stay. But, that would be crazy wouldn't it? Unless she wants alone time with Jessie?

IMHO, Lydia knows her and Nasty are done. What Lydia wants is to be the first of the two out so she has Jessie all to herself for awhile. If I was Jeff/Jordan I would grant that wish, then tell Nasty all about Lydia & Jessies Tent making. Nasty would be reduced to a quivering mess in all future comps, not that she wins anything anyway. Again just MHO.

8/15/2009 9:18 PM

Hi JimmyB,

I suggested a Jessie return, but only because they won't ever (at least in the past) return someone to the house who wasn't sequestered. Jessie is (supposedly) the only one in sequester. So, although I don't know that they are returning anyone to the house, if they did it would be Jessie as the only real option.

I think it would be interesting, especially if Lydia DOR'd or got ejected.

If you think about it, this is a perfectly (self-destructive) way to get back at CBS. I mean, CBS really couldn't care who wins, they just want a watchable show. But there schedule would get totally messed up if they had a rash of ejections/DOR's etc.

Did Lydia/Chima/Natalie discuss this in any way (or any combination) that anyone saw on the feeds? Or were they just down so much that you couldn't tell...

Becky said...

If Lydia keeps up her horrible behavior BB should remove her. Then she would not be sent to the jury house, an uneven number of people would be there and problems would be solved.

BB should inform Lydia (and Nat), hell, make it a house announcement that any destroying of property belonging to another hamster would result in the value of the item destroyed would not only be deducted from their stripend, but it would be given to the owner of the property and that it is retro-active.

WV: adesse - that would set a couple of witches back on their adesse.

I think the TH is the rudest group ever in the history of BB.

It's a double-elimination week, so Michelle's reign gets shortened and they elect a 2nd HOH to do a 2nd eviction. Of course, at the rate people are removing themselves from the house, they may not have another actual eviction until September...

joy n said...

How dumb would the three witches be if they PLANNED this DOR thing? Rather than stay and play the game for a $500,000. prize, they want revenge for Jesse, which nets them nothing? A guy who only used them to do his dirty work and would have probably (likely) kicked their butts to the curb in his own good time anyway. At least poor dumb Lydia would have hoped for a life of bliss with the muscled maggot. And we know how sadly disappointed she would have been.

I'm thinking Natalie is playacting right now about Jesse. I doubt she really gives two s***s about Jesse and was probably using him as much as he was using her. She's floundering without him and her second choice for an attachment just got her own butt kicked out of the house. Nat has nowhere to go now and she knows it. She's got practically a zero chance of a POV win unless it involves screaming at people or sleeping and God forbid it involves a shower.

Chima's sense of entitlement went poof today. Good riddance. The TH are DUN!

All I can say is there's no way Lydia could be a nanny for my child. What else does she have to do to prove she has some serious issues. She is suppose to be so upset over Jesse's departure, so in other words she came on this show to help someone else win the money, a total stranger, who will forget she existed in a heart beat. Maybe she could cope with things better if Jesse had put her on the block and booted her ass off. CBS in the future needs to screen the houseguest better, because some of these people definately needs some therapy, I could meet some one and become their friend but I cant imagine myself crying and whining for them and the thought of wanting them to win the money instead of me would be ludicrous because that seems to be what they actually wanted Jess to win because they have forgotten this is a game and if they thought their alliance with Jess would mean for certain that he would take them to the end is crazy, because he would only be able to take one and it probably would have been Lydia because that would have been a sure win for him.
