Big Brother 11 Live Feeds - Have - Have Not Held 8/07

The feeds were down while the Have - Have Not played out. Four people are in the Have Not room. Jeff is grumpy. Jordan did well. There were limes all over the table - the liver and limes duo must have been voted in. The comp had them squishing and packing stuff in a car (cart?).

Jeff is definitely on slop. Someone (or two) won a movie. They're talking that if Jeff's team had a surfboard, they would have won. They also didn't see the squishy animals. No, I'm not talking about Ronnie.

Jordan and Jeff were on separate teams. I think Jeff's partners in slop have to be Lydia, Kevin, and Michele. Natalie, Jessie, Jordan definitely not on slop. I think from what they're saying, Chima is a Have. Russell must be a Have as they mentioned he'll be the only one drinking beer.

They saw Jeremy Piven, too. So it must be his latest movie.

If Jeff is to use the CDT when exactly must he use it? Is it after the POV ceremony or before?
Thanks so much! PQ

Nana in the NW said...

The CDT is used right below voting for eviction on Thurs.

Jeremy Piven has a movie coming out on the 13th. It's with James Brolin and is about car salesmen. It's called....Good ??????. I wonder if they are getting to go to a premiere since they have already done a movie in the house.

Jeff might not be thrilled about HaveNots but he doesn't have to worry about being strong for the POV.....after all, he does have all the power!!!

Nana in the NW said...

Oops!! Correction: The CDT is used right BEFORE voting for eviction on Thurs. That way there can't be any deals made or schemeing.....hehehe

Goe-

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Ya want s nice cold juice box.

I tend to ignore anonymous posters that can not sign their names somewhere with in the comment.

So I wouldn't get your panties in a bunch over the "ugg Joe".

Anonymous said...

Margo, you forgot to say JMO JMO JMO LOL

Anonymous said...

Jackie, thank you for the post. I was just watching the feeds and it looked like someone was standing on the kitchen table to while they cleaned the center lazy susan. Did you see that? And was it Jesse? If so, did you get a screen cap of it?

Joe in NY said...

Hi Margo,

There is no need for you to be sorry. You are just doing your job as hostess, and I know I perhaps am too verbose and not enough IMHO'ing. Feel sorry for my students... :)

My feelings weren't hurt by the "Ugg", but it did kind of illustrate that I don't need to "push any buttons" - other than signing my name. I'm sure there are several people on this blog who don't enjoy my posts and need not read them, but there is really only the one anon who has been openly complaining. I assume, without knowing, that it is the same one giving me heck on this mornings blog.

I still think I need a time out.

Joe, I think you are wrong. I think there are at least three posters. Educate me, what is the name of someone who has delusions of grandeur?

I usually like to read the comments but some of these that write in all the what ifs & every scenario you could think of, it gives me a headache!
And then we have the college professor (Joe in NY) & Becky doing their catch up musings about dogs & kids & going on & on about the spelling of names & such & I am tired of it. BUT he writes that if I don't like it don't read it is plain bull crap. This is a place to talk about BB & it is supposed to be fun. People figuring out the what ifs is part of it, even though it gets confusing.
Being corrected by a "crunchie" is not needed or wanted. No, I don't have to read it, but it is like stepping into dog doo on your morning walk. It is there, it is not supposed to be, but you step into it anyway because it is on the way.
Preach to your students not to the BB commenter's, please.
It just figures you are a Natalie & Jessie fan. You would probably love to be kissed with Chima's big olde glossy lips too.
BTW A "crunchie" is: unshaven, unkept hair, mis-matched clothes in some drab earth colors, bolero or safari hat, rides a bike or skooter, super educated, glasses taped somewhere on the frame & probably a vegan & has been "green" since he/she was 12.
Sorry I went on so long off-topic, but I had to get it out.
Sooo glad Ronnie is gone & NOT on the panel, too!!

Anonymous said...

I agree Moe, Ronnie is so annoying, thinking he know everything and telling the HG over and over again how smart and educated he is. Ronnie got his time out, thank goodness.

Becky said...

This, that and the other....

First, the most important thing, in my book anyway.

Joe, "Willie is actually a Great Pyrenees: 150 pounds at this point."

Those are big dogs! There are two at the feed store where my daughter purchases her Lab's food. I would imagine the extra weight he put on had a lot to do with his medical problems. Do you have him on a diet? You CAN use vegetables in place of some of the dry food. And go easy on the wet food.

Is there a dog park with a pond where you could take him? Or a doggy day care with a pool? The best thing for him would be swimming or even walking in water. Laurie had to take one of her Labs to water therapy following hip surgery. The dog walked on a threadmill that was in the water.

Now a confession.... when someone asked about your willie (no capital letter) I thought that was pretty personal for a public blog!

Okay, now to more serious stuff... and this is NOT directed at any one person. I am one with very little formal education past high school. I would have loved to have gone to college, but that was before the days of financial aid. Plus I was busy helping support our ever growing family. I don't think I ever heard the word CDT -- or E, if you insist -- until I was in my late 20's. I still don't spell very well. I learned to spell by sight, not phonics. I don't think they even taught phonics in the '40's. I am very sensitive about my lack of education.

I could not be on Survivor or Big Brother. I am too honest, too careful of peoples feelings, I do not like lies or deceit. I would be like Jordan (even though I can tell time). She actually cried when someone was picking on one of the hamsters and said she could never understand how people could be so mean to another and she mispronounces words. I constantly murder the English language, I talk like someone from the South and have a million and one corney little sayings, most of them passed on by my Daddy... who really could murder the language. I may talk like a hick (and have been called one), but I have a heart of gold. I may not stick up for myself, doing anything to avoid an argument. But I will go to the mat for my family and friends and will defend anyone I think is being mistreated or made fun of.

In spite of my husband and I not going to college we provided a good home for our four children. All of them have a college education. We were determined they would. It was never a question of IF you go to college, it was WHEN you go. The first three went to a private, very expensive college. There was only three years and three months between the oldest and youngest (they were born before the pill BTW.) The youngest went to a state school. And there is not a throw away in the bunch.

Joe, I think that many thought you and whoever corrected the spelling of the CDT (or E) were out of line. I don't think they were being rude, I think they were expressing their opinion just as you do.

If ANYONE catches someone making an innocent mistake, they should just remind themself of their own very worst habit. Then ask how would THEY feel if they were called on it in public.

Okay, my be nice speech is over. My WV is dessemo. I know, I know, this post was dessemo! (see why I love the make up a sentence with your WV. First one didn't go. Second WV is galing. Life can be galing as Ronnie is finding out.

Take care and BE NICE. I will enjoy misspelling the next time around.

Becky said...

I want to apologize for the very, in fact, overly long pevious post of mine. I do not apologize for what I said, from talking about dogs, to my kids, about me or any of the other comments I made. Sometimes I start typing and my fingers run away with a mind of their own.

WV is sadve. I am sadve that I used so much space. But, BE NICE TO EACH OTHER! And stop being so picky. Sadve? Good!

In the house right now, HOH room, is Jordan, Jess, Nat, Chima and Chima said straight out to Jorda, "I am putting Russ up and will you vote him out'. Jordan says, I will vote how you want because I thought you were putting me up. Chima and other begin to quote all the things Russ has done wrong in the house. Jordan adds her view. They tell her Russ has called her (Jordan) dumb.

Jordan says, I believe you all but you know I feel like going down there right now and asking him, just to make him admit it since I know you wouldn't lie to me about it. Jesse jumps in loudly. No ! that would be bad that would start another big fight.

: ) Jordan scared them, I think.

Becky said...

Moe, I am sad (but not sorry) that you think my "musing" postings regarding dogs and kids are out of line.

Yes, this is a Big Brother blog. But these musings do NOT take place during a show. And I feel that putting out educating information about dogs is important. It is a subject I know about. Since we can't reply to the person on their email address, then why not give out information if it may help someone? Oh, and by the way, I am not a "crunchie" (directed at me or not). Just a person, same as you.

RBennie said...

Whoa - what is going on over here at Jackie's lately. I finally get a chance to check in and I see all this bickering going on. What's with all the hostility people? Are we forgetting the golden rule here - bash the HGs as much as you want, but no bashing the posters. I don't even know where to begin. I have one suggestion for Joe. I think you should stop pasting in excerpts from another poster's comment in your post. I know you do it to clarify which comment you are responding to, but I think that is one of the reasons people think you are attacking them personally. Secondly, yes this is a place to talk about BB, but since when is it a no-no for us to go off topic? Personally, I love it that you never know where a topic might lead to. I also love to hear people's ideas about who should do what and how in the game. We can't whisper in the HGs ears and tell them what to do, so the next best thing is to say it here. I'll close with these immortal words from Rodney King: "Can't we all just get along?" Oh and I better add that all this is, of course, just my opinion.

Delee said...

Here Here...RBennie totally agree. Us old-timers here do get off topic occasionally and there is not a thing wrong with that. Jackie's is not Joker's Update with the rules they have...

Anonymous said...

Becky, I think you get your message across in a style many of us envy. College degrees are great to have, but so is an understanding of life and the ability to stand up for yourself.

You are queen of the one liners. Or maybe you and meb can share that title.

Rbennie..I use that quote all the time.

I would like to add some house news in here to turn all the comments back to the house...but there is music playing on the feeds. I think it is nomination time. could that be right?

Anonymous said...

*runs around and around holding onto the key

Joe in NY said...

Fair enough, Rbennie. I will stop pasting the posts in - although I must admit to getting confused myself when people don't quote to whom they are responding, but that's my problem.

Moe, I'm not at all crunchy. Thank you for your insults and input. Anonymous... ditto. Whatever my flaws, I have yet to call any of you names or tell any of you to keep your opinions to yourselves. I may have disagreed with your opinions and engaged in an attempted discussion with you about them, but I have never intentionally belittled you for holding them.

Becky, totally with you on the "degree" thing, see my earlier post defending Natalie's video career. It was Brent who mentioned the CDE issue, not me. On the dog issue, I talked to the physical therapist and she said that water therapy wouldn't work for him since he's too long for the largest treadmill they have so he wouldn't get full range of motion. And since his fur is so thick he'd run the risk of yeast infection because they couldn't dry him properly (Labs are water dogs, no problem there!) Thank you for your input, I appreciate hearing about everyone's lives. It makes it all the more personal and friendly, doesn't it?

Now someone let anonymous out of the time out room, she appears to have locked herself in.

Since when is it an insult to call someone super-educated and green?

And why in the world would people defend themselves by saying they are *not* one of those ("crunchies")??

Speaks so much more about the person who wrote that than anything.

PlaidChick said...

Joe, you are a nut bag. Yes I said "Nut" again today. I have gone from nut sack to nut bag. :) I say that nicely of course... really I do, because of the way you're spelling today.

Formly Anon..
Right on the money, and I would love, lub, <3, to see that play out. You should try for the show. Wait a second, you think, you analyze, you could play the game, unlike some of these HGs. :)

Nessie is done with Russell, so is Chima. Jeff needs to get one of those idiots out. I'm so sick of seeing the king and queen on my computer scream.

Joe in NY said...

To formerly anon,

How about "unshaven, unkept hair, mis-matched clothes", does that seem like a compliment? I didn't mind "crunchie" as a phrase, I was not thrilled with the general tenor of his rant. But thank you for piling on...

Joe in NY said...

Plaidchick, you've become
Queen of the Nuts...or, in keeping with my spelling theme today: Kween of the Gnutz.

Becky said...

It was asked...And why in the world would people defend themselves by saying they are *not* one of those ("crunchies")??

Speaks so much more about the person who wrote that than anything.

It was explained by Moe that: "BTW A "crunchie" is: unshaven, unkept hair, mis-matched clothes in some drab earth colors, bolero or safari hat, rides a bike or skooter, super educated, glasses taped somewhere on the frame & probably a vegan & has been "green" since he/she was 12."

I made that statement because I thought it was a distasteful thing to say. I have nothing about the super educated, people being green, anyone who doesn't eat certain foods. I do not like, nor think any poster should have to be unkept. We can see Natalie, but not each other. I am just a person, the same as the rest of you ..... On second thought, I do need to shave my legs tomorrow.

Why are people bombarding Jackie's blog with all this nonsense, most of us are trying to enjoy what she does, while a few are making useless attacks. I have been reading this blog for a number of years and this is the first time, it has gotten so personal. Let's all do Jackie a favor and stop the nonsense and show some appreciation, by respecting each others opinions.

Sharon S said...

The definition of "crunchie" floating around on here doesn't match up with what the real connotation is... even well-kempt, well-dressed urbanites are crunchy -- people who care about living a life that helps to sustain the environment.

And, by the way Joe, anytime I make a mistake, feel free to correct me. I'd rather be educated than remain ignorant!

WV is "frashie" -- I don't mean to be "frashie" about my comment, but as a friend of many people who consider themselves crunchy, I was offended for them when I saw that off-the-mark description that was posted!

formerly anon said...

Joe, "unshaven, unkept hair, mis-matched clothes" Gee, that sort of sounds an awful lot like this guy named Albert Einstein.

But then, he probably wasn't green.

Jeff and Jordan are talking game. Nessie wants them to vote out Russ and Jeff is saying he needs Russ to win HOH in the future and that if Russ is saved (he says by the POV...not mentioning the coup power), russ will vote on their side from then on. Jordan says she doesn't trust him and Jeff says but they dont' trust any of them. Jordan says they will make themselves targets if they go against the house.

Anonymous said...

Jeff is talking to Jordan about strategy. It's pretty clear he is going to use the coodesac and put nessie up. But he can't tell Jordan not to wory so she is strategizing and throwing Russ under the buss. She wants to side with shima and nessie now. DOH!

I always thought a crunchie was something you pulled up your hair with. LOL! I am getting old, but not hip, apparently.

Joe, I enjoy reading your opinions (even if I can't understand why you give Jesse so much game-play credit) (LOL!) and I'd fight for your right to express them. I feel like I should indignantly insert, "This Is America" here.

Petals, your bf is getting picked on.

We should go back to ignoring the mean-spirited unsigned anons who choose to make their barbs personal. Funny, I actually thought we might get thru this season without them.

S'all good about my BF, we are so laughing about it - actually sort of funny, re: the anons. We, the "in crowd", all laugh at the snide Anons behind their backs (or even in their faces, when they ever have the nerve to show them).

Joyn - get an avatar - didn't you used to have a flower? Or am I thinking of the kale kraze?

Joe in NY said...

Sigh...anonymous, I've never dished it to you and I can take whatever you've got. But I really don't think anyone on the blog wants to hear your personal attacks. But, do what you will...

Joy n...I never claimed Jetski was the next Dr. Will, I just thought he should get some credit for playing pretty well so far - especially when you consider how poorly he played last year. We'll find out in the next week or so just who is playing the best. We are at the point where everyone gets tested because the alliances are balanced with the floaters and it is harder and harder to hide...

BTW, since Giordan agrees with me about the CD'E, she is now my 3rd favorite hg!!!

joy n said...

How did Russell and Lydia take the news? I actually feel sorry for Lydia. How many times has she been a pawn now? She has to be worried since she knows the TH tried to vote her out.

Petals said...

Meb - you were worrying me. I thought you had your keyboard upside-down or something. HAHA....

mmm.... icebag to forgead is working. Thank you. *smooch*

Joe in NY said...

That's right, joy n, I forgot. You are up my way in NY, aren't you?

Petals said...

Russell & Lydia - gotta say good bye to the fruitcake. Russell won me over this week (tho I still love my Jessie-cakes). Lydia is way too psycho-stalker.

Joe in NY said...

I really gotta run. Step out in the hall, Petals, for a good night smooch.

I think the noms are a mistake by Jetski, actually. He would have been better off with Russell and Michelle up there. Lydia brings Kevin with her and they are effectively shoving away numbers. And Russell, unless he's an intentional pawn, was actually playing pretty nice with Jessie so there was no point in putting a stick in that particular hornet's nest.

It was a good move not nominating Gieph and Giordin, since they believe one of them has the CD'E, but after Ronnie intentionally undermined Michelle's credibility, why not use her as the obvious target the whole House could get behind? That would virtually guarantee (IMHO IMHO IMHO IMHO) no use of CD'E and not rattle any big cages during a week when cage rattling is especially dangerous.

Folks - Once again, off topic comments, as long as they're not quibbling or personal insults, are allowed here. This is the time of year when BB content takes over the blog, but this is also a community. If you don't wish to read a non-BB comment, please skip over it and only comment on the BB comments ... not other commenters.

For those anonymous folks complaining about off topic comments ... your own comments are off BB content, too. If you want a rigidly structured pure BB topic forum, this really has never been one. You might want the boards at jokersupdates or someplace similar.

What I appreciate most are the "news from the feeds" comments, because I neither have the feeds nor the time to follow them if I did, and you guys do an excellent job of picking out and reporting on the most interesting and important feeds bits.

It's difficult to just skip the off-topic comments, because you don't know the entire comment is off topic until after you've read it.

Could we use some kind of label, like "OT", as the first word of the comment or the paragraph if it's going to be off topic?

WV" "redlr". I'm not creative enough to make anything of that, except that I'd like to redl(ine)r off topic comments.

(Screwed up, had to delete and redo.) New WV: "beraft". I would be beraft without your news reports from the feeds.
