Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Monday Daytime - PoV Meeting 8/31

Hmmm ... I can't think of anything witty or clever to say about this bunch. They're not a witty and clever group of hamsters. Um. Um. Here are the events from inside that Big Brother House of Unfulfilled Potential:
  • Natalie told Michele that she (Natalie) won't be keeping Jeff -- she'll be keeping her word to Kevin.
  • However, Natalie went on to say that neither of them (Michele and Natalie) would have a chance to win in the final two with Kevin.
  • Natalie denied having a final two deal with Kevin.
  • Michele told Natalie she'd rather see Jeff go at the final three.
  • Natalie admitted to Michele that she hasn't been giving 100% during comps but now will give 110%.
  • I bet she still can't win comps.
  • Michele said she'd be willing to get Kevin out next week because he went back on his word this week.
  • The hamsters can smell the smoke from the wildfires.
  • Jeff and Jordan are working to get Michele to use the veto to take Jeff off the block.
  • Jeff told Michele she'd have his vote to stay but he couldn't guarantee what Natalie and Kevin would do.
  • Like Michele is stupid enough not to save herself with the veto.
  • Wait.
  • Is she falling for it?
  • Oh my ... it seems so.
  • Or, is she just acting like she's playing along?
  • Jeff believes Kevin is targeting Natalie with the save Jeff plan and is disgusted that Kevin is betraying Natalie (as he betrayed him).
  • Then the feeds got blocked and the veto ceremony went down.
  • Michele's no fool. She saved herself.
  • Jeff and Jordan are now on the block.
  • Jordan cried.
  • Jeff and Jordan said that Casey and themselves are the only ones who came to the game to make friends. Everyone else is all about the money.
  • Um. I can make friends without being ridiculed on Internet feeds, a national television show, and mocked on message boards everywhere. Go on the show to make friends? Feh.
  • It's all about the money.
  • Now Jordan wants to quit.
  • Natalie (for once) offered good advice, telling her that's not the way to go.
  • Jordan is sure that Jeff will go this week, she'll go next.
  • I don't think so. I think Natalie and Kevin will try to get Michele out next because she's the one most likely to win a comp.

Since school is back in I haven't been up on all the scoop...I'm bummed that Jeff and Jordan are on the block and Jeff will probably go (Jessie will be smug). What is the Pandora's Box people are talking about?
Thanks!

Witt :)

It was Friday -- kind of like a luxury comp, but not. They all gathered up money in the yard and Jeff found a key. That's about all we know. BB hasn't told them the amount of the money or anything.

Natalie is a pig! She doesn't shower, her hygiene is revolting. She eats like an animal always chewing with her mouth open. She has been lying since the moment she entered the house starting with her age. She lies not just to further her game play but to be hurtful. In fact she actually seems unable to tell the truth. (Didn't she say she never cries?) She is mean spirited, lazy, selfish, two faced, greedy and a user. There are a thousand things she has done that turn my stomach -a few examples: going through other houseguests possessions, dumping their clothes, stealing other peoples things, hiding stuff in the house to screw with the other houseguests, speaking spanish with Kevin (against the rules) reporting to BB Kevin's eating a few grapes and Jeff's drinking a gatorade (resulting in an extra day of slop for each). I could go on and on. She enjoys hurting people too much for me to ever give her credit for good gameplay. I cannot remember a BB houseguest that I have disliked more than Nat.

Donna

I hope the "Pandora's Box Key Twist" somehow gets Natalie out of the game! I can dream can't I?

Thanks, Jackie...I knew I could count on you! Does this have to do with the teaser they showed with Kevin at the very end of last night's show?

It doesn't surprise me that Natalie is making noises to Michele about throwing Kevin out of the game. I hope Michele tells Kevin at the right moment.

Jeff is a goner. But Nat is thinking ahead now as I knew she would. No one will give M any votes, most likely, but Kevin could likely take away some of hers. She won't want that to happen. She'll do whatever she can to get Jordan out next and promise Michele to take her to f2 and she will do that. Kevin is just another sucker to her.

Russell said in that interview mentioned earlier that Kevin is playing well now and he will impart that info to everyone on the jury.

Well, I guess the light has gone on for Jeff! You put your money on the wrong horse, buddy!

I can't believe that Michelle has not put 2 and 2 together on Natalie.

Our only hope is that Jeff got a golden veto. Wouldn't that be super?

WV exesse - Is that a Jordan for excess? Or is it, the exesse coverage on Nasty is too much to stomach?

Natalie there is no such thing as 110 % it ends at 100 %

I hate when ppl say 110 %.

If you read this interview that AG gave last week, she pretty much says there is no power. Just an added responsibility for the HoH (Kevin). Also America gets the tiebreaker vote (same as in BB2).

Glad my girl saved herself and didn't buy Nasty BS!!!

Actually, depending on context, you can have 110%. For example if you weigh 100 pounds and gained 110 pounds, you gained 110% of your weight. And, technically, if you tried hard and then tried harder, your effort could be 110% of your initial effort.

I know you'll yell and call me a contrarian, but I"m just saying...

Thanks to you, Monty, for the link.
I was happy to read that the finale will be two hours long this year. I hope they fill the time well.
The winds are out of my sail now though. I was expecting something fun and twisty from Pandora's Box.
I guess it's just another fizzle snore surprise. Drat!
(I'm still going to secretly hope for more)

OT: My youngest is going to start college this week. He was born in 1991, the year that recently rescued girl, Jaycee, was kidnapped. That's a lifetime ago in Mom years.
God bless her, her daughters, her family, and those working with them. May the strength that saw her through these 18 years be with her as she heals. Unimaginable, isn't it?

The story of Pandora's box is:

In the beginning of the world, mankind was weak and unable to defend themselves from animals and disease in the world. As a result one of the gods, Prometheus went to the sun and stole fire which he then gave to humanity to make them strong. With fire, they were able to make weapons, cook, etc. The gods were upset about this and decided to punish mankind. They gave Prometheus' sister in law Pandora a box which contained all the evil of the world and told her not to open it. The box tormented her day and night until she finally opened it and all the evils of the world escaped. She shut the lid and all that remained in the box was hope and hope is greater than all the evils of the world. I've always loved Greek mythology. (speaking of which the history channel has a new show which interpets the Greek myths called Clash of the Gods and it's quite interesting.

Now what this has to do with bb is beyond me but I guess I will find out with the rest of you. I doubt it will change the game however. I do think that the money will be placed in a box and only the person who found the key can then open and thus, will be the only person to recieve the money.

Ditto. The most interesting thing (at least to me) is if you look at a comparative religion course where they track the parallel myths across multiple cultures. Fascinating how similar a lot of the myths are, including Judeo-Christian stories and many of the pagan religions. For example, a large number of cultures including (but not limited to) Judeo-Christian, Native American, Indian, etc. all have flood stories! And, of course, Pandora's box is really a story about temptation which is not that different than the story of Eve and the Apple. Just fascinating (again, to me) how similar people in very different cultures and historical periods were in their mystical world views.

wv is "tiewall" - I wonder if I could sell tiewalls through Ikea for men to hang their cravats.

Have to say "I told you so!" but Jeff and Jordan sit on the block, hoisted on their own petard. They had it coming!

Is it the final four when it is more important to win the POV than the HOH?

DR has been telling them their amounts of money tonight. Nat tried to see if this summer has been worth her time..comparing her job earnings with BB earnings so far. She decides she has had 'the experience'.

I think they should check the house for carbon monoxide. They sleep all the time and can go to sleep as soon as their head hits a pillow. They can't be tired, they don't do anything.

I snack food is involved in the next comp, Nat may win it.

Thank you Jackie.

I've liked stuff like that esp things to do with biblical stories. I remember when I first heard about Gilgamesh and the flood in that story and I was just blown away. And then, I realized that the reason why so many different cultures have flood stories is becasuse most early civilizations settled near rivers and of course they ha floods. LOL.
