Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Saturday Into the Evening 8/01

Jordan is telling Jeff that her dream job would be to be a dental hygienist because they work regular hours and earn good money -- she wouldn't need a man to support her if she got a divorce. Um, lofty goals. For me, a dream job isn't something which is entirely doable.

My dream jobs: Bestselling novelist, working with big cats or doing studies of wild animals in a faraway land. Oh, maybe I'll just be a ballerina!

Here's what's been happening in that Big Brother House of Turning Tides:
  • Jessie whined a lot that his neck has been bothering him. He blames the problem on having to look up so much during the HOH comp. @@
  • Kevin told Jessie his goals in life are/were: get on Big Brother, work for an ad agency, and have a family.
  • Chima denied anything is going on between her and Russell. After all, he's only 25. Oh, five or six years difference. She's not even old enough for it to be cougar lust.
  • Ronnie kept trying to be Michele's buddy and confidant.
  • She doesn't seem to be buying what he's selling.
  • The veto players were chosen -- Jessie, Kevin, and Michele.
  • Jessie fears that if wins the veto and saves Ronnie, Russell might put Natalie on the block.
  • Kevin told Michele she yelled NO in her sleep last night. She's done that before. Hmmm ... maybe she thought Ronnie was sneaking into her bed or something.
  • They've all been talking about the secret power and calling it the wizard. Jeff said America hates him and he's not the wizard.
  • I think he's wrong and lying.
  • Jessie, out last year in the fourth week, is scared someone will use the wizard power and get him evicted this week (week 4). He wants Russell to throw the veto to him so he can keep the nominations as they are.
  • Jessie told Michele everyone is sticking to the plan to vote out Ronnie.
  • We know how well these folks stick to a plan!
  • Chima is the host for the PoV comp. She comes complete with a toga.
  • I guess now that they've graduated, they can have a toga party.
  • TOGA, TOGA, TOGA
  • Ahem. Just reliving the 80s for a bit.
  • Michele won the veto and had Ronnie at her side begging her to save him almost immediately.
  • He told her she can prove she wants to be a part of the five by using it.
  • The comp had something to do with counting (feeds were blocked) rats, graves, feathers, etc.
  • Not feeling really successful, Ronnie worked on Chima to go work on Michele to save his butt.
  • Natalie told Jessie he should go to the diary room to complain about Kevin eating grapes while a Have Not.
  • Michele told Jeff she won't be using the veto.
  • Michele really, really doesn't like Ronnie.
  • Michele and Jeff talked and talked ... more than they've talked so far in the game.
  • Jeff said that unless she was on the block with Jordan, he wouldn't vote for her to go home.
  • New alliance in da house! Jeff, Jordan, Michele ... with a bit of Russell on the fringes.
  • I think Russell will remain loyal for the most part as long as he can with Jessie. But I don't think he has any loyalty to Natalie, Lydia, or Chima.
  • So, there you go. I think we'll see the noms remain the same this week. At least until the coup d'etat.

Sorry, had to do it. Mostly because I hate when people do it! (Hmmm, Sandiek, what does THAT say about me? LOL)

Interesting...I wonder if Jeff could make a deal with Ronnie or Lydia to "save them" in return for joining the Beautiful Three? With Ronnie/Lydia up and Russell HOH, doesn't Jeff have (potentially) the votes to decide who goes home? Now THAT would be a move!!

Jackie S. said...

I doubt he'd do any dealing with Ronnie. I think if he has it, he won't use it this week but will next week unless he wins HOH. I think he wants Ronnie out and that seems on schedule without any magic powers involved.

Plus, if he doesn't win HOH next week, he can save himself from the block with it. Win-win

Jeff finally knows better than to trust Ronnie or Lydia's word about anything.

Hi Jackie,

Love you as always.

I wasn't thinking that he'd use CDT to save them. He has (assuming Michelle is on board) 3 votes. Jessie has only he and Natalie and maybe Chima, depending on who we're talking about. Kevin - don't know but I would think he could be included in a saving of Lydia? But if he offers 3 votes to save either Ronnie/Lydia (whomever he thinks he can trust most - possibly Lydia) in exchange for an alliance then after the ouster, Jeff would (possibly) have the largest bloc in the house with 4 votes (5 if Kevin is on board) against AT MOST Jessie/Natalie/Chima/maybe Russell.

wv is "reakup" which sounds like 10 times worse than a breakup.

You know what that reminded me of? I think it was last night when Jessie and Natalie were talking, and Jessie said that he thinks the slop thing is bugging him not because he really cares about food, but because "just knowing I can't have it makes me want it more."

He had an immediate recognition of what he was saying and how it applied to Natalie. It was funny.

Anyway, your post reminded me of that.

Maybe, but he would be trading nothing (his vote - since he doesn't care who goes) for a possible alliance. Jessie's team takes a hit this week but Jeff/Jordan are possible targets next week if one of the Jessie Gang wins HOH. IF Jeff's trade swung one over, he'd have numbers no matter who won HOH.

No downside to trying. Like I said, at worst he's trading nothing for nothing. At best, he's trading nothing for voting control of the house.

I thought the coup d'etat voting goes thru Tuesday, so no way anyone knows anything yet about the "wizard power"

I disagree Joe (oh, what a surprise!)

Jeff's best move is to not do anything. This week will play itself out just fine, and he won't have to risk anything. I believe he's smart enough to know that any "deal" with either Ronnie or Lydia is worth exactly nothing. So why bother?

And how hollow would it sound to say to Lydia: make a deal with me or I'll keep Ronnie! Yeah, right.

Talk about destroying one's own credibility for no reason.

formerly anon said...

I'm envious of that huge big bowl of luscious squash they have there!

That's another reason to dispise Jessie, he's so unappreciative of the things he gets! And Kevin throwing the squid in the garbage really irritated me (I hope BB slapped him on the wrist for that)

Anonymous said...

That's my point. Ronnie and Lydia would say anything to get off the block and Jeff knows that now. He would not have their votes once they are safely off the block. But Jesse will have one less vote for sure. Jeff came close to winning the last comp. Don't count him out on the next one. Russell can't compete next time. Jessie has only won one so far. He was given the first.

I wonder what would happen if Michele used the veto on Lydia?

Maybe Russell would put up Natalie. Wishful thinking?

I half agree. I don't think doing nothing is a bad move. In fact, you may recall that I've argued that not using the CDT is the most likely outcome or using it defensively if Jeff/Jordan needed, just because keeping your head down while eliminating enemies is usually the best strategy. (Which is kind of why I give Jessie credit for letting Natalie or Russell play pit-bull.

But Lydia has seemed to be leaning into the middle on numerous occasions (which is one reason I don't particularly care for her - I mean it's okay to be undecided but why plot against the guy you are pleasuring in your spare time and staring at in the dark - ew!) I think she could be "got" for a promise of safety. Of course, if Jessie won HOH next week, she would probably turn around and suck up to him again. But suppose (EGADS!) it was Kevin or Chima as HOH, wouldn't it be better for Jeff to maybe have Lydia's promise, even if it was no good? If nothing else, he could always out her later and throw her under the bus.

I don't think it matters either way, which is why I half agree with you. But I would like to see a move of any kind from the Beautiful People and a Big Move would be awesome.

After all, I never much care who wins, I just want to be entertained along the way.

wv is "fultilit" Arguing is fultilit? Or maybe, Russell really went fultilit on the HOH comp? LOL I think I like the wv's more than 1/2 the words in the dictionary - the 1/2 Jordan doesn't know. LMAO Sorry, couldn't resist.

Of course, if Michele did use the veto to save Lydia, then it would be obvious that she would not be voting to keep Ronnie.

Which of course means, there's no reason for Michele to use it.

Ronnie sure is in a pickle isn't he? I can't imagine how he has deluded himself into thinking Michele might be on his side.

Hey Ronnie, remember when you said, about Michele: "If she weren't on my team, she'd be gone in a heartbeat!" Remember that Ronnie?

Its official Jackie, I have gone and become a person who talks to strangers. I was at the Sizzler restaurant, getting our table when I heard the gal at the next table say "Russell doesnt believe them..and he has the power" Immediately my mouth was open and I was spewing forth..."Oh I have Russell in the Blog Pool, first I didnt like him but now I think he might be ok......"then I noticed the shock and horror on all their faces...it was too late to find another table as my husband and the other couple came and started sitting down. they never looked my way again..shame on me....
I forget not everyone is as friendly as this Blog with strangers and excited about BB....

What Jeff has brought to his BB game is the hgs view of him. They don't see him as a schemer. If he tried anything hinky this week, even if it helped him get an eviction or change the numbers, he would lose his image with them. That could be a good move for a strong player, but I don't see Jeff making that kind of power play this early. No one trusts anyone, but all of them say that 'they think' they can trust Jeff to do what he says. Since day one, and even without the high school theme, they each have been building their reputation with other hgs. That is part of each of their game plans..even if they don't recognize it.

Great story, TerryinCA.

It made me think about how private people can be but then forget they are carrying on all their personal business in public on their hands-free cell phone! I was in the PO the other day and the woman in front of me in line was YELLING at someone on the other end of the phone about the other woman's boyfriend. I actually wanted to offer her advice just to see the look on her face. It just seems people feel like they have some expectation of privacy while in public.

And, as an aside, any BB fan who didn't want to just jump in and discuss it with the total stranger at the table next to them is NOT a BB fan!!! LOL

sizzie, well said. Jeff is proving the saying about how all you really have is your reputation. That's a valid game play, in BB as in life, imho.

That's a valid point, Sizzie. That's also kind of why I think Russell is the more likely leader of the opposition than Jeff.

But Sandiek has called a truce on all of my discussions of Jeff/Jordan which I will honor until she breaks my condition that she cannot discuss Jessie anymore!

Michele has got to pull off a major event this week. Jessie, Nat and Chima are going to reveal their anti-Russell hand on Thursday as long as Michele Jeff and Jordan keep their mouths SHUT and stick to the plan!

That will put Russell absolutely squarely against Jessie Nat and Chima, who will be sitting exactly where the GGs have been since the beginning!

Michele, the game is in your hands right now, don't blow it!

Good grief, it seems not one of those hamsters know that adding vinegar to laundry will get rid of odors... they are complaining about something, needed "scented" detergent.

Michele should know this.

Natalie is in conspiring with Holy Ronnie (interesting how he keeps his nose buried in the Bible when he's in trouble)

Jessie and Natalie are convinced that Ronnie will stay and Michele will be on their side, and that they will lose Russell.

I expected to hear lots more about the single vote to evict Jordan. I figured this could be Russell's undoing. Not hearin' anything.

Maybe the single votes are meaningless at this point. Nobody made a fuss after Natalie voted against the house, hoping to blame it on someone else and cause a problem that never materialized.

Welcome back, Sydney! Hope the wedding and vaca was terrific.

Jackie, hope you're right about Michele keeping the noms the same.

Maybe the tide is finally turning.

Forget it, I'm done with Jessie. You Jessie lovers have got some really twisted values.

Just watch two scenes side-by-side:

1) Jeff and Jordan cleaning and cooking in the kitchen (about an hour ago)

2) Jessie and Natalie cooking in the kitchen

We're talkin' day vs. night.

Sour puss Jessie just shuffled his big-assed slippered feet over to the patio door, opened it up and yelled out to Natalie: Hey, did you bring me some squid from the storeroom? No? Thanks. and slams the door (he knew she didn't but it was worth his energy to shuffle over there to yell that instead of taking his LAZY ASS to the storeroom and get it HIMSELF!

Sorry, he's a big disgusting selfish slob. His true colors come out under duress.

Also, apparently (as Ronnie predicted) his wife is spreading an internet campaign using vote bots to spam the cbs vote.

This is the lowdown as I see it. Michelle and Russelle are all chummy now so we have our Final 4 alliance set in place: Jeff, Jordan, Russelle, and Michelle.

My pool pick Ronnie is clearly done this week (not all that surprising seeing as he played like an arrogant twit and I'm definitely seeing the poetic justice in him being royally skrewed by Michelle and Russelle.)

It's also a duh that Jeff will win the coup d'etat. He is a great looking likeable guy and he and Jordan are cute and nice but if they win the game I will be pissed. I personally think Michelle and Russelle are the smarter pair and thus more deserving in my eyes to win the game. (Russelle is pretty darn clever to align with Jeff at a moment when America is going to hand Jeff all of the power so Russelle would have been forced to do Jeff's agenda no matter what.)

I also think Natalie has a lot of game potential if she distances herself from Jessie, not sure she will though. I would personally like to see Natalie win the coup d'etat though I know there isn't a chance of that occuring. It would be nice though.

Jesse knows Natalie's true age, but does anyone else?

I thought the lines were openly drawn for the two sides with

Jesse, Nat, Chima strongly together

Jeff, Jordan strongly together.

and the others hovering satellites to both groups.

But, Russell, as well as he is playing, and as on target as he has been in most things does not seem to know that Jes, Nat and Chima are firmly for Ronnie staying if they could find a way.

It surprises me the Russ doesn't seem to know that. My question is, Does he know that? Does he really believe that Jess and Jeff are in agreement about Ronnie leaving?

lynn1 said...

Sizzie, I don't know if Russell knows that Jessie, Natalie and Chima aren't in favor of Ronnie going home. I do not believe that Ronnie being evicted is a sure thing.
I do think that Jeff and Jordan are on board with evicting Ronnie.

I feel that Jessie thinks that Ronnie is a more dependable ally than Lydia. Not that Lydia wouldn't be an ally but that Ronnie is a bit more of a gamer than Lydia.
Natalie has said to Jessie that if she wins HOH she would target Lydia. She may have changed her mind but I haven't heard anything different.
At this point Chima seems to be supporting Jessie's game plan. I don't know that she will stick with him indefinitely though.
Michelle and Kevin go which ever way the wind blows. I don't know if they will support any alliances on a consistant basis.
As of last night I think that Jessie , Natalie and Chima could well vote to evict Lydia.
Jordan, Jeff and maybe Michelle will vote to evict Ronnie.
I don't have a clue how Kevin will vote.
That is how I saw it last night, but it is along time until Thursday so things could change drastically and frequently in the next several days.

Well, the truce is over! LOL

I don't expect my reality contestants to be saints. In my opinion, they are all wanting in some ways including St. Jeff and Twinkle Bell (sic).

Let's face it: how many of you could take 3 months off to go sit in a house on the off chance that you manage to survive long enough to win? How many of you would be excited by the possibility of being on camera 24/7? How many of you would want to live with a bunch of backstabbing strangers? How many of you would find $750 per week in sequester to be your life long goal?

People wondered how Lydia and Jessie could get it on on camera. Just about everyone in the house is capable of getting it on on camera...they are all attention junkies who are narcissistic enough to think the world needs to watch them.

People talk about Jessie's "advantage" of coming into the House as a star/celebrity/former HG etc. Jessie would not come into my house as a star and probably not yours. Jessie can walk down the street anywhere in the country wearing a Big Brother T-shirt with flashing light and glitter and get recognized by about 1 person if he's lucky. I love BB, but it gets about an 8 share during summer. These people are not famous or celebrities...but they all THINK they are and want to be.

For me, they are ALL just entertainment. I would be fine with a house full of serial killers and child molesters as long as they provided sufficient laughs and drama for 3 months. (I wouldn't want them to win any prizes, mind you, maybe a truckload of cigarettes? LOL) The more flawed the characters (and they are characters to me, not people, not saints, not deserving or undeserving), the more interesting the show.

Seriously, can anyone honestly say that if we gave Jeff/Jordan their own reality show with just the two of them that they would watch it? But give me Jeff/Jordan with Evil Dick as the neighbor to the left and Jessie as the neighbor to the right and Dr. Will and Mike Boogie as the masturbating boarders and we've got a show!!!

Dr. Will had no morals or scruples, but he had charm and game and everyone loved them. We aren't looking for someone to name a church after, I'm not even looking for a "deserving winner" (whatever that might mean). I just want a little entertainment...
