Tonight Will Be a Lost Evening for Me

Yep, it's back! Lost returns this evening with a big three-hour ordeal a'goin' on. From what it looks like, the first hour (although listed as new material) answers some questions and points out remaining mysteries. Then it's onto the two-hour actual season premiere. Most likely I'll NEED to watch that first hour as I've totally forgotten what happened last on the show!

Now, I don't think I'll be blogging the show in-depth as I'm so lost to begin with and it will take me some time to catch up. But if folks want to comment on the premiere, I'm sure to join in. It's the last season of the show and they did promise us answers. We better get them and it better not be a "Who shot JR?" scenario!

I'll be recording tonight's American Idol audition show due to Lost. What are YOU watching tonight?

I am most definitely watching lost. I watched the last episode from last season, last night to refresh my memory and now I cannot wait for tonight.

HI jackie -- I am not watching Lost but I listened to a NPR report today about all the $$ being made by people in HI giving Lost tours, which is great for the economy I suppose...

And that there was a huge screening of the ep last night (or close to that timing) and people flew in from all around the world. They were saying it was like a combo of the Trekkies and comicons... Yikes! What a crowd!

Have fun watching everyone! I 'm going back to Bachelor and Project Runway to see who has commented every day... I am taping them so I'm not live blogging either this year. Hence my comments are a few days late.

Hey, Jackie! Thank you for inviting us to blog here. I think all of us have been "lost" during the season. I know I have been. However, I keep watching since the show is fascinating to me.

I think this "recap" show has been good since it went back to the beginning of the series.

I watched the first couple years of Lost and loved it! Then one year I was watching something else when it came back. I recorded it, then ended up having a Lost Marathon. Last season, I recorded it again, but ended up having to delete if from TIVO when I switched from Comcast to Dish Network.

It was too easy for me to replace/lose interest with the length of time between "seasons". I feel bad about that tho. Especially with all the excitement about it now.

My daughter is going to buy the entire set from beginning to end once it comes out on DVD. That's when I'll catch up on it.

In the mean time, I hope everyone enjoys the show!!

Although I'm not a fan of the long hiatus between "seasons," this ecap is bring it all back to me.

Used to follow the show only with your help Jackie - and I got so lost I quit watching! Will stick with my normal NCIS followed by the taped AI (so much better with a FF option available!)

PS. If there are any blog readers in the SF Bay area that want to attend a Survivor party/fund raiser on 2/11, Yau-Man is hosting one that will be attended not only by several Survivor Alums, but also some of our favorite TAR alums too! Just let me know and I will get the information out to you.

Okay, I am lost already. How did they get on the airplane. Did I blink?

Juliette triggered the bomb and the past never happened ... or something like that.

Becky said...

Thanks. I guess for some it never happened. Looks like Miles and Kate are still there.

Now Jack is back. Oh, now they are all on the plane. I guess this will go from plane to Island, back and forth.

I watched NCIS and am now watching AI. I'm taping Lost and will watch later.

OMG SueGee that sounds so exciting. Are you going to go? Are you going to take pictures for us or at least be a cub reporter and come back here with all the dish for us? :-)

Becky said...

Yes, please do send pictures. When will this take place?

I'm definitely going! I want to meet the Cho brothers for sure!! This will be my third Survivor party and they are really a blast. I have some pictures from the other parties and I will have to figure out how to share them. Any ideas?

Thank goodness for the e-cap as you called it Jackie for I surely would have not had the slightest what had gone on. I did get the one thing answered that I couldn't quite get and that was when John was alive with Jacob and Ben in the cave and John told Ben to kill Jacob, I got it!!! John was really Jacob's counterpart (good vs evil).

I hated that Julianne died... why couldn't they have taken her to the temple like they did Sayid.

When she said "It Worked", I'm guessing that they are in both places... on the plane and they made it home... How that affects everything is going to be tricky.

I'm as lost as ever and loving every minute of it.

Meb, I think you are correct. I think this season will show the ones who made in off the island (like the couple that were not in last season) and also the conclusion of how they got off. Where previous seasons showed them on the island after the crash and last year was a flash forward, this will be a combination of the two.

I liked the recap show because it brought new views up to date on what had happened. I agree with Jackie in it will be like it did not happen, that there was just a bout of bad weather.

Here is a recap for those who were as "lost" as me.

I love Lost. I am not always lost. I can figure out some as I watch but it hurts my head to try and run all the scenerios with a parallel universe.

I can't wait for next week!

I finally got a chance to watch this first few episodes of the new season this morning. Now all that Letterman was doing last night with the ash and all makes sense. :)

The whole two places thing is confusing me. Can't wait to see how they explain that in the future (or is that the past?).

Hey, anyone else here?

I will come back later.
