Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains Blog Party Post 4/15 Episode

The show is starting in a minute or so. This post will be updated with the major events as they air here on the East Coast. Late tonight, my full review will be posted on TV Squad. But, until then, the real fun is in the comments area right here -- feel free to jump in with your thoughts on the show, everyone is welcome! Survivors ready?

Villains won reward. Parvati got the clue to the hidden idol and found it with Danielle. No one else knows, including Russell.

Heroes won immunity. JT gave Russell his idol thinking that there's an all-girl alliance. He wants Russell to vote out Parvati.

Courtney was voted out.

Hi Jackie, I have to leave the keyboard to watch the show, but I'll be checking in every once in a while. Thanks for hosting the party.

Hey Becky, Suzanne and Jackie!

Amanda has a record. First Survivor ever to play 100 days. Nice.

Balancing on pegs against each other. Villains won. Outback Steakhouse dinner for them.

Amanda found clue for new HI. No one saw it but she told Danielle. They aren't telling Russell. YAY!

Donna in Alabama said...

I think JT has bumped his head!

joy n said...

Sorry, not Amanda but Parvati.

joy n said...

They found it!

Donna in Alabama said...

Do you think Russell saw them?

Becky said...

Joy, wasn't it Pav that got the clue? Danielle is the one he showed it to. Amanda is a Hero, the other two are Villians.

joy n said...

Yeah, Becky, I corrected that.

It didn't look like Russell saw them.

Can't even watch it yet, but I think it would be great if the girls on the Villians really did form an alliance and oust Russell. He thinks he has control over all of them.....boy would that smash his ego!!

joy n said...

Heroes win immunity and JT passed his HI to Russell. How stupid can you get?

joy n said...

There's no way Russell will oust Parvati.

That moment is going to go down in Survivor history. Are you kidding me, they just gave an Immunity Idol to the other team. Too, too much!

Hey everybody.

omg russell is going to fall for it!!! bye bye russell!!! -jeannemarie

Russell and Parvati are having a big laugh over JT's note. JT just made the dumbest move ever.

Anonymous said...

are you sure jt gave him a real idol? -jeannemarie

joy n said...

All the villains know about JT's idol now. Laughing heartily.

joy n said...

Parvati trying to keep Courtney. Figures she can manipulate her better than she can Sandra.

Becky said...

Just when you thought it was good for the Heros. Dumb, dumb, dumb!

joy n said...

Courtney's out. JT told Russell to get rid of Parvati. He'll find out soon how stupid a move he made. Although Russell will probably make up a new story as to why Courtney had to go. He'd already told JT that Parvati was running the show.

Jackie S. said...

Yes, it was the real idol. He wanted Russ to use it and vote for Parvati as he's so sure of the girl alliance and that Russell would go home. Russell didn't get even one vote ... no idols used.

joy n said...

This may be the downfall of the Heroes.

Previews look like Sandra tells Rupert that the girls are NOT running the show. Will the Heroes listen?

Tomorrow is Parvati's 100th day of being a Survivor.

Well, that gifted idol exchange and the letter that went with it was not fun to watch. This episode had to be difficult for JT to watch at home.

Hey e'one. Did I hear Courtney & Sandra exchangin confidences that they both "ran the game" in their previous seasons? Were they on a different island than I was watching? These two hangers-on? Pul-eeze. G'bye Courtney. and please - purchase a clue when you purchase your next lean happy meal.

Why whuy why do they not vote out russell? These girls are smart. Don't they see he needs to go?

joy n said...

Actually, Sandra did pretty well in her season. And she won. She's not great at comps but she is a thinker.

Amy said...

I agree joy n. Sandra did good in her season and is certainly taking it all in this season. She's my favorite villain now.

Why, oh why, did Colby involve himself at all with the idol exchange?

Hi All

That was almost as dumb as when James had 2 idols and was voted off

If the merge comes next week I have a feeling Sandra will be around for a while.

She is good
at playing with peoples heads

Colby is my dumb hunky pool boy. That speech to Russell on the platform was........I can't think of a word to describe it. The only dumber one was the genius who thought of it in the first place, JT. Seriously, if the heroes wanted to buy somebody from the villains for a numbers advantage, why Russell? Even if they didn't know him before this, they do now. Why not go for power player Parvati? There's already connections with Amanda. It just shows they are all in 'group think' mode, and it will be their demise, but I still hope not.

As for next week, how could Russell possibly convince the heroes that he used the idol? Could they be that stupid? Don't answer that.

Looks like the merge will be next week and the heroes will find out quickly how wrong JT was. That won't go over very well. I was embarassed for Colby when he said he wished he could shake Russell's hand.

Really dumb move all around.

joy n said...

As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Russ angles to get JT and Colby out of there quickly. He has to figure they may try to save face after the embarassment of that dumb move and work much harder to get rid of him. That, plus the fact that JT and Colby may accidentally win a comp or something.

ML said...

Hahahaha Joy, accidentally win. That's about right for my pool boy Colby. The wanting to shake Russell's hand was the line I forgot, willfully, probably. That disgusted me so much.

In the end, I know I'm probably jumping ahead of myself here, I really don't think people will vote for Russell to win. They may fear his power a bit, but I think they dislike him too much. Remember back to last season's finale, how desperate Russell was to be named sole survivor that he offered Natalie money for the title? I said then I bet he didn't do very well in the next season. He already had Heroes vs. Villains filmed at that point, just not the finale. So he already knew, except for who wins, whether he was in it or not. He is doing well since he's already for sure made the jury, but I don't think he wins. And as we all know, he's only there to win, second again would kill him. You know he would never vote for a woman to win, except maybe Parvati. Maybe that's why he was so bitter at that finale. Perhaps Parvati plays him so well in the end and he regrets his giving her the idol. Actually, this could be epic fail for him. My wishful thinking has led me to digress...

I agree that Russell probably won't win. His thick head never got that this is also a social game. I really think that will be his downfall here (again) which is what keeps me from believing that he is the greatest survivor ever. You can't crap on people and expect them to make you a king. A woman beating him (any woman) would be fantastic! He can call himself the greatest survivor ever but losing twice in a row for the same reason says volumes. His own ego will do him in again. Parvati winning, after all that cuddling with him, would be mint!

ML said...

As much as I don't care for Parvati, that would be sweet justice wouldn't it?
