Big Brother 12 - Live Feeds Friday Daytime - Aug. 6

Another day in the happy house of hamsters. As I get this written, the nominations haven't been done. However ... Matt did open Pandora's Box and Ragan will be unleashed to wreak havoc on all. Matt, of course, doesn't know what he's unleashed.
  • Hayden told Enzo and Lane about his talk with Rachel last night. You know, the one in which he was so sympathetic and told her he too had no one in the house except Kristen.
  • And now she's gone.
  • Brendon, possibly using his crystal ball, is trying to work his way into the guys. He's been hanging around a lot with Enzo. Buddy-buddy, grunt-grunt.
  • Brendon is still going on about the comps being made for smaller people.
  • Rachel told Brendon that she can't wait until this is all over and she won't be friends with anyone after they leave the house (present company excluded).
  • She hates them all!
  • Hayden thinks Matt should take Rachel's $5,000 and then nominate her anyway.
  • Rachel told Brendon she's sure they're safe this week, but must win HOH next week because it's probably a double eviction.
  • Wrong and wrong.
  • Well, I don't know for sure about the double eviction. I haven't done the math on that and I don't want to think right now.
  • I don't want to think because these hamsters are turning my mind to mush.
  • Rachel thinks she's the only one with a great life and they're probably jealous of her.
  • @@
  • Meanwhile, in another room -- Kathy, Hayden and Britney are trashing Rachel.
  • And so it goes.
  • Lane told Ragan that Brendon called him (Ragan) a cockroach.
  • Ragan still thinks the only real alliance in the house is Brendon and Rachel.
  • A cockroach might be smarter about that.
  • There was a big cockroach in the kitchen which Lane killed.
  • Perhaps it was named Ragan, I don't know.
  • Rachel pouted.
  • Ragan and Rachel had words about words (names being called).
  • Rachel called Matt and Ragan "a pair."
  • Oh my.
  • Ragan got all bothered by it.
  • Rachel cried some more.
  • Then they all (Rachel, Ragan and Brendon) apologized to each other.
  • Some brouhaha.
  • After an extended trivia session with the feeds blocked, Matt admitted opening Pandora's Box.
  • He said he got a dollar in a briefcase and a promise of wealth ... but he would be unleashing something on the house.
  • He doesn't know what he has unleashed.
  • Now I've gone full circle.
  • As I get this posted, we have extended trivia again. This time it might be the nominations.
  • It looks like Matt will stick to his guns and nominate Brendon and Rachel.
  • If he doesn't, he'll lose face with the rest of the house.
  • Once I know the noms, I'll post a bulletin.

Did Matt get the CDT when he opened the PB? Julie said the most powerful HOH ever.Wasn't the HOH getting something to change the game?

Am I really the first?

Most of the time I have absolutely no desire to have the live feeds. Watching the hamsters lay around all the time sounds about as exciting as watching grass grow.

However, I'd love to be a fly on the wall to be able to see the reaction and aftermath of the B & R nominations. That is, IF Matt sticks to his plans and nominates them.

So much for being first! :)

My wv is comiti ~ The brigade comiti should make sure Matt follows thru!

Your first in BLUE PDX :)

If Matt doesn't nominate R&B it will give him the prize for being the dumbest HOH ever. He must have learned something last time about how the backdoor plan can backfire on them!

If they do get nominated, I would prefer to go into solitary confinement after that and avoid the drama ... or be a fly on the wall. I just wouldn't want to be there as a target of the hysteria!

I would like to see Rachel go, just because she annoys me, but I'd be happy to see Brendon go,too. Either one gone would be good and hopefully force the others to play the game!

Matt's commenting how the screen doesn't have that the Nom's are today... so maybe they won't be today??

Jackie, I don't know how you do it. In the last 24 hours, you hosted both the pool party and the endurance competition, wrote your articles for TV Squad, watched a lot of live feeds and wrote two or three summary posts, commuted to and from the office where you worked a full day, fed Vincent and maybe slept a bit. Jackie rocks!

I wonder what Matt's promise of wealth will be and how it translates into a great power.

I've been trying to remember previous Pandora's box offers, and whether they had much impact on the game or the player.

Last year, wasn't Pandora's box a choice between a visit from a loved one and something that would benefit the house? Natalie picked the visit and that's when her boyfriend proposed, which she tried to lie about And didn't someone end up padlocked to the box.

Zoetawny and Laurie, In the previous post, you mentioned Jeff's ATWFF show. I don't watch the show, but I follow his travels through Twitter. He sends daily tweets about his travels and posts photos: selling breakfast tacos, working with longhorn cattle, taking a pilates class, surfing in Malibu (today). Here's the link if you want to follow along:

I'm frankly surprised that Ragan won for saboteur; which will make him very unhappy. ...I voted for Brendon so that he could come between Rachel and her man :)

Thanks for the link, Sally. I'll follow it there!

And you are so right about our Jackie. She rocks!!

My desire is to see Rachel leave this week and Matt next week. That would be fabulous.

Hey Jackie and all... Haven't the noms happened yet. I thought for sure I'd check in here after a HARD DAYS WORK... well...maybe not too hard... ok, not difficult at all... but I felt for sure I'd read who Matt the genius put on the block.

Checking in later.
