Big Brother 13 Live Feeds Into Saturday Afternoon 8/06

For me, Jeff will always be the clear choice to stay.

Okay, so we had more mini-brouhahas in the house. The surprising part was some of the action was Jordan-based. Yes, dear sweet never gets riled Jordan. She's ashamed of her behavior and hopes her mother and grandparents aren't embarrassed. Of course, what she did is SO minor compared to the behavior of other hamsters!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Frustrated Froot Loops:
  • Last night, before the nominations, Jeff and Jordan confronted Kalia.
  • Everyone figured Rachel would be on the block. That was a no-brainer.
  • But Kalia told Jeff she wanted him to win the veto. Later he said he first thought she meant to pick him as a houseguest's choice.
  • Nope, she wants him to win it by putting him on the block with Rachel.
  • Jeff is the remaining alpha male in the house and the most likely to win a comp outside of Rachel.
  • Jordan automatically thought that the plan would be to put her up as a pawn against Rachel.
  • She apparently slammed her key down and yelled at Kalia that she might as well keep her key out, too!
  • This, of course, was blocked to us feedsters.
  • Jeff has been losing his temper, but Jordan had a really, really bad day yesterday -- going on slop with a fish alternative once again (she hates fish) after barely eating last week, Jeff (and Rachel) on the block, thinking she'll go on the block if either pulls themselves off.
  • Jeff and Jordan have taken their vows to take care of Rachel much too seriously.
  • I mean, being nice to her is one thing.
  • But the girl is definitely poison in the game. They should be backing away from her a bit as if she just might have leprosy and they could catch it if they grow too close.
  • The good news is they got a gas grill yesterday. The bad news is that Jeff, the main grill and cooking dude, is on slop.
  • Being around all of the crying women is driving Jeff crazy.
  • He's point-blank asked Rachel how Brendon puts up with her and told her she's crazy.
  • Jordan told Rachel she's like a cyclone or hurricane destroying everything in her path then coming back to normal like nothing ever happened.
  • Surprisingly, Rachel is taking all of this well and takes no offense.
  • Kalia will NOT put Jordan on the block, not even as a pawn. She won't. She promised Jordan and will stick to it.
  • Jordan and Jeff are still leery that Jordan will go up.
  • Kalia, Rachel, Jeff, Jordan, Adam and Shelly played for veto.
  • Kalia decided that whenever Rachel was down, she could give up. The main thing she told Adam was that she did NOT want Rachel to win.
  • Jeff, Jordan and Rachel have really twisted around what Julie Chen said to them about this week's evicted hamster MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE to come back into the house.
  • They're acting like it's a done deal -- whomever is evicted WILL come back and all three will go after Kalia.
  • Jeff, of course, won the veto (as I announced earlier).
  • Rachel, after the requisite ton o' tears, actually went and had a long civil talk with Kalia.
  • She falsely thinks that she has a chance to stay in the house if Kalia puts the right person against her (Porsche), but names no names.
  • She's worried that if Adam goes up against her, she will be voted out.
  • Kalia has been thinking Adam as the pawn but has no idea how Rachel heard about it.
  • Kalia also thinks, going over the numbers, that anyone she puts up against Rachel would mean a Rachel exit.
  • All she needs is three votes and she's the tie-breaker.
  • Once again, she said she will never put Jordan on the block.
  • She's thinking Shelly or Adam, but wants Rachel out even though she admits she's seen a more human side of Rachel.
  • We won't know until Monday who's going up as Jeff's replacement.
  • One thing we can be sure of ... Jeff will NOT use his PoV to save Rachel!

Shelly is still trying to play both sides

Ugh! Is Kalia really that stupid? She pi$$ed off Jeff/Jordan by nominating Jeff, regardless of her lame reasoning. Now she has a chance to put someone up next to Rachel and she's thinking Shelly or Adam? Why isn't she looking at Porshe at all? By putting Porche up as a pawn she can actually get Porche on her side with Dani. When Rachel leaves, Porche has nobody to play with. If Dani & Kalia buddy up with her now and try to be all "You need to go up against her because you're the only one guaranteed to beat her" they'll stroke her ego, she'll be with them for at least the next week and if the plan backfires then at least they haven't pi$$ed anyone else off by getting a house favorite evicted!!

Porsche already is on her side. Rachel burned her bridges with Porsche and Porsche has never been in with Jeff and Jordan. It would be safest for Kalia to put up Adam if she wants Rachel out.

I had no idea that Porche had abandoned the Rachelanic! (I just made that up!) I knew P wasn't thrilled with how she was acting but didn't know she had switched sides! Good thing you watch the feeds for me Jackie!!

I am sure I am about the only person on Jackie's blog that would love to see the following scenario.
Kalia puts Dani on the block. Jeff, Jordan, Shelly,Porsche and maybe Adam vote to keep Rachel and to evict Dani.
When Dani gets to play one of the already evicted house guests it would be Dom. Dom wins against Dani and returns to the house. Oh that would be sweet.
I know that is not going to happen but a girl can dream.

I still say that when Rachel is evicted, if America voted for Brendon to compete, he'll just throw it to Rachel and back she walks through that door.

Bad move IMHO.

Petals said...

Yeah, CBS did let Rachel come back last year when she was voted off... damn!

meb, I think you are 100% right about Brendon handing it to Rachel.
Of Course if America votes Brendon back and by some quirk of fate Rachel is not the one evicted. It would be interesting to see what happens.
I guess since I don't have the feeds or BBAD I am not exposed to Rachel except during the show and I am not as burned out by her constant crying & melt downs as those folks who see it on a daily basis.
Having said that I am not a big fan of Rachel's. I certainly don't want her to win it all. Actually as long as Rachel & Dani are NOT the big winner I am happy for whoever wins.

My WV is rethr... I would rethr see anyone win besides Rachel or Dani.

Well, at least it is a but more interesting...

Hi, can someone please explain the Rachel and Porsche falling out to me? Thanks. Also, is Porsche likely to be put on the block. It makes me nervous bc she's my pool pick.

To be honest, if you look at the people in the house right now, Dani and Rachel are the only ones actually playing the game.

Jeff/Jordan are just assuming everyone will keep them safe because they're the house sweethearts and they get so upset when anyone targets them in any way what so ever. Jeff has even said he's only there to spend the summer with Jordan.

Adam and Shelly have just skated the whole game.

Porche hasn't done anything that could even remotely be considered game play.

Kalia didn't start playing until this week and I'm not sure I'd even say what she's doing is playing. Her only goal is to get Rachel out and I've not seen or heard anything about her end game.

Rachel and Dani have been playing the whole season and IMO they're the only two who even come close to deserving the win.

With that said, $500K would be wasted on either of them! If I'm looking at the money, I'd rather see Adam or Shelly win. If I'm looking at game play, I say Dani or Rachel should win.

Now that I've said all that, I'm not sure why I'm even watching this season. What a total waste of a summer! :-)

Tell me...am I the only one who is bugged by Shelly kissing her fingers (I guess as a gesture to her daughter or family) on live-elimination nights? It annoys me for some reason.

the mrs roper comment Jeff made was to Lydia after she said something snide to Jordan during a competition. Lydia was mad I think about Jessie getting voted out.

I think Shelly HAS been playing the game from day 1. She's cultivated relationships with and offers sound advice to the other players. She's developed all kinds of ways to gather information, sharing it judiciously with others. She seems to have deflected any real suspicion aimed at her. She's a contributing member of the house, cleaning and cooking for others. She hasn't won any competitions, but she competes well and doesn't complain. I think she's a force to be reckoned with, and I hope she's aligned with J & J.

Ork, I disagree with you that only Dani and Rachel have been playing the game.
Dani has won a couple of competitions and so has Rachel.Dani has attempted some big moves and was succesful at breaking apart her own alliance. I think the Jeff, Jordan and Shelly have been playing socially.
I think that whether it is due to strategy, friendly personalities or dumb luck Jeff and Jordan have done well influencing people not in their alliance to support them.
If memory serves me Shelly has made some high impact moves through her voting. She was very instrumental in helping the veterans to get rid of Keith, Cassie and Dom.
In my book there is more to winning the game that being HOH or winning POV.
The person I most dislike has a very good chance of winning. I don't dislike her for how she is playing the game I simply find her arrogant, smug, self centered and spoiled which is a lot like the person who won last summer.
It is really sad that I invest as much time and emotion into these people as I do.

Lynn1, Didn't Jordon win last summer? I didn't find Jorden arrogant, smug etc. Maybe I mis understood your statement.

Even though there are 6 former house guests in the house this year, and some may think it un fair, I am finding that there is more excitement in watching BB 13, for me any way.

Nina, Jordan won Big Brother two years ago. Last summer, Hayden won, after beating out Lane and Britney. Rachel and Brendon were also in last year's group.

Jackie S. said...

Ninboh - Porsche got wind of Rachel and Brendon campaigning to get her on the block instead of them and jumped sides a while back. I don't think Kalia will put her on the block.

meb said...

Ninboh... I also saw Rachel melt down on BBAD after she and Brendon were put on the block by Dani... Porche went up to HOH to talk with Dani and Rachel went ballistic telling Brendon P was being a traitor... at that point, Porche hadn't really done anything to abandon Rachel.. but... when Porche came down, the three of them were in the backyard and Rachel lost it and offended Porche, and from that point, P just quit hanging with Rachel.

Brendon even told Rachel that she had probably just lost Porche's support... and he was right.

Nina,
I was referring to Hayden who won BB12 not Jordan.
I had Jordan in the pool for BB11, so I have been her fan since I first saw her.

Nina said...

Oops, my mistaake. Jorden was in BB11, not 12. Thanks for bringing me back to earth.

Can the HOH see into the HN room on their tv screen?

The part that confused me was that Porsche still voted to keep Brendan. So I thought maybe she and Rachel patched things up. I'm still concerned that Porsche may go on the block this week. I really hope not as she is my pool pick and I think she could be evicted.

Shelly was on the block with Cassi, as her partner and played no part in evicting her. She's voted with the rest of the house and has told J/J on many occasions that she'll vote however they want her to vote. When it comes down to it, she's floated through the whole season so far. Even if you consider that game play, the BB juries never do. If she were in the final two against anyone in her alliance she'd just be handing the other person $500K!

My assessment before had to do more with the history of BB and how juries vote than with my personal feelings. If I pick a winner based on how I like the HGs, I'd pick Lawon. I just find him funny, genuine and I think he'd do good things with the money. I completely forgot about him in my other post because he's not done anything memorable!!

The best news I've had all day..Rachel might be gone. I can't take another second of her. I even stopped feeling sorry for her because of the way Brendon talks to her.
I can't imagine that America voted for Brendon to come back. You think it's a maybe? I voted once for Cassie and once for Dominic because I couldn't make up my mind.
I can't believe the vets are thinking so simply about the little bit Julie gave them about a houseguest returning. You'd think they'd know it's more complicated.

From what I'm reading on joker, Porsche is on good terms with Dani and Kalia and possibly Rachel as well. Porsche confuses me. We need a DR from her ASAP.
