Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Friday Daytime - Aug. 10

Dysfunctional family

Joe is toeing various colors on the kitchen floor, Boogie is dressed like a weirdo, Ian is rocking and Wil is contemplating his navel ... or something. Just another morning in the BB14 house. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Sugar Highs:
  • Frank doesn't trust Wil.
  • It's even. Wil doesn't trust Frank.
  • Joe worked on Frank to get Wil out.
  • Joe, of course, is scrambling. He knows that he fits in with nobody.
  • Joe told Frank he knows he (Joe) won't win. He just wants to make it to jury.
  • Ashley can barely move due to her back pain.
  • More drugs, please!
  • Britney talked to Frank and Boogie -- told them she's okay with getting Joe out this week, but Wil needs to go next week!
  • She claims Wil is very intuitive, smart and people gravitate to him. He might not have won comps yet, but has potential.
  • Joe has no real potential.
  • Britney said (and it's been mentioned before, just can't remember if I mentioned it) that Janelle apparently knew more than she did about the coaches. Janelle cut a deal before the show that if she went into the game, her baby could join her in the jury house.
  • Frank doesn't really want to put Wil up this week. He feels he owes Wil.
  • Frank would really like to put Dan up, but Boogie nixed that -- said it's way too early.
  • Neither Frank nor Boogie want Dan in the final two. They know he'd be too dangerous to compete against either of them.
  • After Frank and Boogie talked to Wil and he wouldn't make any promises to them, they decided they'd like him out this week.
  • The feeds were blocked for the Have Not comp.
  • Apparently: two teams, they had to grab a color to join a team.
  • Ian said he saw what color Joe grabbed and went for the other one.
  • The kid makes me chuckle.
  • Joe, Britney, Shane, Danielle are the Have Nots.
  • Ashley didn't play due to her back.
  • Everyone is talking about how poorly Joe treated the girls in the comp -- screaming at them and barking out orders.
  • They also said he was a poor sport, throwing things and fussing after losing.
  • They got candy canes and cod.
  • Joe felt a bit better seeing the cod.
  • Wil went to talk to Frank alone and said the wrong words -- he didn't want to talk to him in front of Boogie.
  • Wil ended up agreeing he could go up "as a pawn" and not be upset with Frank.
  • Meanwhile, Boogie was wheeling and dealing with Joe telling him that if he goes on the block, be cool and calm, he wouldn't be the target.
  • Okay, sounds to me like Wil and Joe will be on the block later tonight.
  • Then, as per the standard waffling, it would be whomever acts up the most heading out the door.
  • Well, unless Joe wins veto, that is.
  • BWAHAHAHAHA!
  • Nominations later tonight!

Thanks Ms. J.
Interesting about Janey getting to take Violet to jury (if she had gone).
I saw on the feeds (before they were blocked) where the coaches all get a weekly stipend, plus a signing bonus. Before cutting, I learned that Dan got $6K to sign, and Janey's weekly stipend was $500.
And Howie & Dr Will were originally going to coach, but they dropped out. (or so I read somewhere)

It was rumored that they (coaches) all got 20K, but it came out that Janelle was promised 25K. We'll never really know until a ways down the road when they're allowed to talk about production.

Looks like it will be Joe and Wil. I have a feeling they'll want to target Wil more as the week goes on, but none of them want Joe on the jury so who knows, lol.

One thing is probably for sure. Julie didn't mention a fast forward, so it will likely not be a double eviction next week. They have to do something about the numbers though.

BoogerBlows said...

Double eviction is ALWAYS the 3rd or 4th week in/of August. Therefore, it's either next week or the following week.

monty924 said...

Or both?! I haven't done the numbers, but there are way too many people in there unless they do a real final 3 like Survivor.

Hi Jackie,
We miss a lot of the shows dues to power rages from storms and we are so happy to be updated from your blogs reports, Thank you so much for your tireless and greatly appreciated hard work.
Can someone explain what " cod" is that the have not will be eatting?
Thank you ,
JULIE AND JOEY

Thanks Monty. I only heard a snippet before they fish-tanked me. Boog also said it was hard for production to find 2 FEMALE past contestants that were popular enough to bring back as coaches. Janelle & Brit are really the only ones, Janelle because duh - she's JANELLE! and Brit because she was the 5th Beatle in the Brigade, LOL.
What other chicks are there? Rennie from Dan's season? Maybe.

what the heck is with the Christianmingle website ad??

JOEY,
cod is a type of fish

I think Daniele Reyes (SP?) was the choice before Britney, but she wasn't interested or backed out. The rumor was strong on that one early on. Daniele from BB3, second place to Lisa. She would have been a good coach, but she probably would have played it like Janelle and been out early. One can only guess, lol.

monty924 said...

Oh.... and as much as I loved Renny, she would have been a horrible coach. Just my opinion *wink*

Joey - Long John Silver's uses North Atlantic Cod. mmmmmmmm (not sure how just the fish part tastes, but that crunchy batter is delish!)

At least the have-nots will have the candy canes to block the fishy breath.

monty924 said...

Cod isn't a bad fish choice. It's more mild than say salmon or other fish. Trout is the worst ever. I know because in my area trout is abundant, and I hate it. YUCK!

monty924 said...

I take that back, make that trout and catfish. Double YUCK!

Petals said...

Fish frighten me. In the water and on my plate. I can eat Long John's because the fillets are so battered and ambiguous.
I have issues. Actually,I have a mild touch of Ichtyophobia. LOL.

Fish is good protein. Love it, just not the really fishy smelling/tasting types. Tuna and swordfish are my favorites.

Petals said...

I wish I could eat it, I would be healthier and have an easier time when I diet.
I do LOVE shellfish though, and they don't frighten me, either. I could live on lobster, crab and rock shrimp. Mmmmmmmmmm

monty924 said...

Lobster is the ultimate with crab and shrimp right behind. Clams are okay depending on how they are prepared.

Mussels and oysters are a complete YUCK!

monty924 said...

Sorry for dominating the discussion with fish favorites. :)

What about that habitat? Joe and Wil are nommed. I guess it will be Joe if Wil doesn't do something completely stupid this week. But then again, Boogie and Frank don't trust Wil. Hmmmm

Thai Coconut Shrimp with a spicy dipping sauce.
All this seafood talk has my mouth watering!!!

Wil kinda ticked Booger and Bud off before noms.

As long as Joe doesn't do something stupid to seal his fate, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Wil go. His smart mouth has been running out of control.

Hi everyone and Thank you so much for clearing up what cod is.
Joey is alergise to fish and sea food and said so glad it not him.

Petals: JOEY AND I want to know...how the love life going??
JOEY really loves how cute and funny you can be.Thank you.
Thanks everyone for being such a nice and great friends for MY JOEY, HE LOVES THIS PLACE.
Thank

Sharon, I agree on both of your posts. :) Wil is treading water at this point. I wouldn't be surprised to see them target him because they all agree he is sketchy on who he would go after. And they both bought Britney's line about how intuitive he was with the game.

Anonymous said...

A toss-up who will go at this point.
Wil is smart-ass mouthy, and Joe is a loud-mouth that irritates them all.

As much as they all want Joe out, it would be smarter to unload Wil... since Boogie has his BFF (until 'maybe' Final 2) convinced it's too early to take out a Coach.

Frank says he wants to be his own man.
Go ahead, keep that thought Frank. @@

Sharon ~ totally that A)Wil is getting kinda cocky (no pun intended) and B) all this seafood talk has me craving it! Aughh!
JULIE & JOEY ~ You guys should stop by the pool parties sometime! My love life? hurhur. It's fine. "Honeymoon" is over, we are like an old married couple who aren't married. LOL
Monty ~ ditto the mussels, oysters and even clams for me. Not necessarily the taste, but the texture.
{on with the show!}
I am standing by my original opinion of Joe, which is that he doesn't really bother me. In fact, I think he is just trying hang with these young kids, trying to 'get in the mix' little bit. Yes, he stirs the sauce a bit too much (double-entendre intended), but I think he is kind of like a man without a country; he's been lost since the re-set.I like Joe. I don't care for that porn-star landing strip on his chin, but I do think he isn't a bad guy. Plus he voted for my girl to stay, so...points for that!
I don't think Froogie will last. I think Fr will dig-in his heels at some point, wanting independence. He is an alpha and, so far, a beta is telling him what to do. I just see a bromance quarrel in their future. That will be fun to watch.
Does anyone -Monty? Jackie? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? - know what happened to Ash's back/shoulder? Has it always hurt? An old injury? Because she has mentioned practicing yoga for several years, she snowboards, she attends those Pound workouts and prolly other classes, too. So what gives?

*off-topic alert*
Julie & Joey - Not to be nosy or getting too personal, but I just don't know much about you. What is your ballpark age range (I'm over 40, under 50)? Do you watch any BBAD or feeds? Do you watch Survivor or any other reality shows about which Ms. Jackie writes?

Yeeps, sorry for the HUGE post. Monty left the hookah at the pool, and I've been knocking on it a bit. hehe

Hey, I passed the pipe off to Meb last night. Did she leave it behind for you, Petals?

Joe is probably an okay guy outside the house and he is trying to fit in. I agree. He's just so loud to us and them inside that he turns people off. Not to forget his spreading rumors and lies. Never a good mix in the BB house.

Petals said...

Meb must have left it; I found it before I locked-up.

Peace pipe is making me vveerrrrry peaceful. I see a sleep window - jumping threw it.
G'nite Monty, G'nite Ms J, G'nite Erin, G'nite Mary Ellen, G'nite Jim Bob...
