Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Friday Evening/Saturday Dawn - Aug. 24-25

Eek! She sleeps in those eyes!

As he said earlier in the evening, Frank nominated Dan and Danielle for eviction this week. Not a surprise at all, I must say. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Dysfunctional Decadence:
  • Dan is worried that Joe and Jenn might have picked up on what he said to Ian during the Pandora's Box comp (re: ratting him out).
  • He's also regretting acting out badly, unlike himself.
  • Britney noticed that Ian's barely talked to Dan since the comp, if at all.
  • They kept encountering messes they made while ripping the house apart looking for quarters for the ball machine.
  • Frank told Britney he could work with her and Shane, maybe Danielle.
  • Oh, please. Not Danielle.
  • Ian and Dan did end up talking.
  • Ian told Dan he didn't want to use his Veto ball to save anyone as Frank would put Britney up.
  • Ian is definitely the most loyal with Britney.
  • Ian told him he doesn't want to rock the boat more.
  • Yeah, Ian's been rocking the boat and vote for weeks now. He probably could use a break.
  • Britney tried to point out to Frank how "schemy" Joe has been and how he can't be trusted.
  • Frank still thinks Dan tried to take his "dream" (winning the show) away from him.
  • Yeah, like no one in that house has that same dream.
  • Perhaps many were recruits and not show fans to begin with, but now that they're in the %#$ deep, they ALL have the "dream."
  • I bet no one has the "dream" any more than Ian who's faithfully watched the show since he was ten years old.
  • What's a ten year old doing watching this show?
  • Never mind, I digress.
  • Dan had a talk with Frank, pre-nom. He told him he understood totally that Frank will probably put him on the block. But, if he survives the week, no hard feelings -- he won't go after Frank.
  • As a matter of fact, if he survives, he'd like to work with him and no one would suspect a thing if they kept up the enemies act.
  • Dan is good. He knows he won't be able to talk Frank out of nominating him. But he's preparing for survival if he makes it through next Thursday, covering his bases.
  • Britney told Frank she doesn't want to make any long term (final two) deals until she sees how the week pans out.
  • Frank thinks Ian trusts Britney more than he trusts him.
  • Ian does.
  • That worries Frank.
  • It should.
  • Dan thinks that the Diary Room has been hinting to Ian that he shouldn't use the veto ball.
  • Perhaps. But we also know that Frank threatened to put Britney on the block if Ian uses it.
  • Britney is Ian's strongest ally in the game.
  • Ian told both Britney and Dan the DR tried to talk him out of using the ball.
  • Made up or fact? We really don't know, I guess.
  • Jenn told Dan that she wants Danielle to stay.
  • Sigh.
  • Dan hasn't tried much to work his social game on Jenn. Now it's coming back to bite him.
  • Britney complained that they never get any new choices in their groceries, same old stuff every week.
  • Oh, too bad. I look at her put away the junk food and wished I could remain under 100 pounds with that appetite.
  • Frank just about passed out in the HoH room. He's had a rough week, y'know. BB even let him ignore/sleep through Diary Room calls and skipped to the next hamster.
  • Ian told the Quack Pack that the Diary Room wants him and Frank to work together.
  • Fact or fiction?
  • It could be an Ian lie to cover working with Frank or appearing to do so.
  • Or it could be real interference.
  • Either way, we got the fish cam.
  • Ian told Britney that Frank is entertaining the thought of putting up Joe or Jenn if Dan wins veto -- thus showing a good faith gesture.
  • Ian and Britney don't think it would be horrible if Dan does go this week as it would allow the Quack Pack to work more with Frank without the huge Dan Target focused on them.
  • Kind of like the witch cackling, "I'll get you and your little doggie, too." -- Frank wants Dan out and focuses his target on the group to hurt Dan if he doesn't get him.
  • Joe told Britney he thinks Frank is going to backdoor Shane.
  • Um. Okay, Joe.
  • Shane and Danielle talked, decided they want Dan out, then put Ian and Joe on the block if one of them got HoH.
  • Oh my.
  • Danielle thinks that if Britney lasts until the end, she'll win because she has good personal relationships with everyone.
  • It's called a good social game.
  • Not that it helped Britney win in her own season, but ...!
  • Britney told Danielle she has a deal with Frank to keep her (Britney) and Shane safe.
  • Danielle ran and told Dan.
  • Dan and Danielle agreed they need to get Shane and Britney out.
  • Will it go 'round in circles?
  • Dan said that if he doesn't win PoV, he's out this week.
  • I'd prefer Danielle go.
  • Please!
  • They think the PoV comp might be rewards/punishment.
  • In the wee hours, Jenn was up to some sort of strategical doings, using the balls from the Pandora's Box and studying the Memory Wall.
  • "It will be a bloodbath and no one will know what hit them," she murmured before settling in to sleep.
  • Hmm.

Duh. I'm still here. I can win comps!

Danielle's bookends

Britney is on game this season

We could have been adopted by NORMAL people!

G'morning Ms Jackie & everyone!

I think there must be production persuasion going on. Even IF Ian only said that as his act, it must occur AT ALL for them to all just nod.

Which is terrible, is it not? Damn!

Ed in Ohio said...

If what Ian is saying about production 'encouraging' him not to use the PB Veto & to play with Frank is true then that really taints the show for me.

Just thought about this too. If by some miracle Jenn were to win the POV today Boogers team would hold all the power.
Frank - HOH
Ian - Ball Veto
Jenn - POV.
That would probably make the Booger smile...his former team still intact & holding all the power.

OK reality check...C'Mon Dan you gotta pull a rabbit out of your hat!!

Petal's LOL! Your avitar...Ian looks like he's been working out. Turning into a stud after all!!

Terry is a Texan! said...

Id Dan and Britney go, then its back to a reasl hamster race...Frank can dominate

Petals said...

Terry, I may agree with you in another season, with other hamsters. But these - especially Jenn, the FB recruit who doesn't even watch the show - aren't interesting enough for me. Sadly, all but Frank really are just rejects from other shows, or trying to break in to Hollywood.

I love Dan, would love to see him next to Ian in the final, and let the best gamer win!

Donna in Alabama said...

I would like to see Britney and Ian in the Final 2. They have done their on gaming and both are good at it!

I just love Britney's DR sessions, they are so funny!

I would hate to see Jenn, Joe or Dani in the end. They have road coattails the whole way!

My daughter has been watching BB since it started. I am a huge fan of all reality shows, but this is the only reality show my 14 year old is FANATICAL about. She can totally relate to Ian & his near life long obsession of the game. Two years ago I got her the feeds & she didn't go to bed until the hamsters went to bed (we live in NEW JERSEY). She stratigizes, plots, devours blog sites & Tweets BB like a pro. Summer 2016 she will be 18 & is already working on her audition tape. The thing that concerns me the most tho, is that she likes the villians the best!! She does realize that this isn't "reality", that the producers have way too much input in the show, how editing can make you look either really bad or really good & what we see on CBS is spun into what they WANT us to see. I'm trying to get some "life lessons" & perhaps a good message out of our train wreck of a guilty pleasure..

Donna, love your avatar! Roll Tide!
Trust me living in Louisiana I don't say that outside of my own house. Don't want to get attacked by a tiger.

Petals said...

Hey Lisa in NJ! Welcome! And best of luck to your daughter in auditions. Please let us know when she makes the show, so we can cheer her on!

Re college football: I am a Mizzou fan, then Penn State, then AL. Me fiancee just moved up here, he is from AL and ROLL TIDE all the way. Will be a crazy season around here.

From what I'm reading, players have een picked for Veto comp.
Everyone plays except Joe and Ian.
Ian hosting.

"What's a ten year old doing watching this show?"

I'm only a few years older than Ian (so is Britney) and I've been watching since season 1.

I started reading this blog when I was in high school.

BozoFrankBlows said...

I agree that the fact that Ian is saying he was "encouraged" NOT to use the veto ball implies, at least to me, that the game is manipulated, alot. @@ So for all you out there who protest that it's a game show and is strictly regulated, in the words of quite a few of this year's houseguests, YOU can suck it. It is considered a reality show, therefore I sincerely doubt it is that highly regulated, if at all regulated. @@

Anonymous said...

This show IS manipulated by the producers. Ian is stressed about it. I wish they would just let the game play out. I know the producers probably want Joe and Jenn gone next but if it plays out organically it will be DAN!!

Anonymous said...

Dan will win POV

Adam

Sharon N said...

I hope Dan does go for POV and doesn't trust Ian... or anybody else.
Dan might be a little sorry he protected Ian now.

Joe in NY said...

BozoFrankBlows...

Hmmm...your name might say all that needs to be said.

Reality shows DON'T involve prize money. Game shows do.

What that means is they can't rig the outcome. It does NOT mean they can't talk a good game. We all know that. Goes back to Let's Make a Deal where Monte Hall confessed that he could manipulate whether people took DOOR NUMBER 2! by the way he presented it.

We've all known that producers influence the game by the very nature of the DR. Happens on Survivor too in their confessionals and in what Probst chooses to say or not say at Tribal Councils.

Anonymous said...

It's impossible to completely plan the exact outcome of the game, but the producers CAN and DO use a number of techniques to sway and manipulate the game. Anyone who can't see that is as perceptive as Delusionelle

The fact that BB shows a fish tank at the very mention of a producer or anything that distorts the illusion that the game really is about a bunch of random everyday strangers locked in a house and left alone to evict one another, suggests it's heavily manipulated by the producers. They didn't say, Ian, don't use the veto, but they did pressure him

There are also Youtube videos of feeds from previous seasons that show the houseguests getting yelled at for talking about how the DR encourages them to say and do things to and about other players. It's basically the Hunger Games

Petals said...

Anon 4:23 and my Joe ~

Exactly! *mwah*

monty924 said...

Not feeling the plan going through today. Brit actually wants Dan out now. She pretty much has Dan convinced to throw the veto to her or Shane, but I'm not sure they would use it. Ian will only use his if the perfect scenario were to happen. So.....

My man Dan could be out the door this week. Sigh!

Petals said...

I hope not, Monty. I really REALLY like Dan. The up side will be that Dan will not make everyone's life a living Hell during his exit week.

monty924 said...

True. I don't think it's looking good unless Dan realized he just has to save himself and the h*ll with the QP. He's been doing a lot of 'thinking' in there today. Hopefully.... :))

Sharon N said...

I fear you are right Monty. Right now, Dan is forced to trust those who have become mostly untrustworthy.

Dan is a really good guy and truly regretted that outburst towards Ian during the comp... and not just because others heard it too.

If he decides to trust and loses this comp, I think he's gone. But we won't be subjected rants and threats ala Froogie. A lesson in sportsmanship that I suspect will be totally lost on Frank.

monty924 said...

Ian's going to the DR, so the veto comp should be underway here soon.

I'm chewing my fingernails off. jk

Anonymous said...

Danielle ratted Brit and Shane out to Dan, I highly doubt Dan would throw the POV, although I suspect he may tell them he will.
I've never trusted Brit, Frank is also beginning to question Brit and Ian's motives!

monty924 said...

Trivia... veto underway

monty924 said...

Anon, that's true but she did that last night/this morning and Dan's had convos with Brit and Ian since then. Who knows...

Anonymous said...

I really want to see this Pandora's Comp on TV. According to the convos in the house it was really brutal. Ian, Dani and Dan went at it (verbally).

I think it may have been one of those Otep talking Clam-type competitions.

monty924 said...

I went back and listened to that convo between Dan and Danielle, and if Dan throws the comp... it will be his own fault. Danielle's last words to him were, "Just don't throw it".

monty924 said...

Anon, it wasn't the OTEV for the Pandora's box. It could be for the veto though. We'll all see PB on tomorrow night's show.

Petals said...

If this a "how much do you want this" comp (endurance), then it could continue for a while.
Frank had mentioned that he will do anything to win, except shave his head.
You know why: he only made the show this year on the condition that he grow out his hair - that is his character. He said so.

Sharon N said...

" he only made the show this year on the condition that he grow out his hair - that is his character."

Good grief. @@
I'm almost speechless... almost. lol

monty924 said...

Sharon, it's been done before. They've had female players dye their hair, or not let them go back to the natural color just to be on the show. If they want a blond, a redhead, etc. They do it all the time.

monty924 said...

Rachel is a prime example. She's a brunette, but BB wanted her to keep it red.

Petals said...

Kinda sucks the reality out of reality, if it comes down to just hair, huh?

monty924 said...

Lol, yep

Apparently, Delusionielle also has aspirations beyond the house:

Sharon N said...

Yes, it does suck the reality out when they aren't allowed to keep-it-real.

Oddly enough, shorter hair doesn't make Frank look cleaner-cut. Looks like it's right out of a James Dean movie... though I'd doubt he'd know who that was. lol

Anonymous said...

any aspirations beyond the house for dilusionielle will certainly never work with her horrid voice. OMG...like nails on chalk board.

Donna in Alabama said...

Lynn1, thanks for the Roll Tide! That means a lot from a LSU fan!!

I don 't think Dan will have to throw it... Frank is a powerhouse at the comps.

Petals said...

Feeds back up, Frank in a costume

Brit & Delusionielle to be shackled together for 24hrs

Dan won POV?

Thank goodness

Looks like it Frank won.
Dan is in isolation room.

Dan in HN room, with a disco ball, flashing disco lights and loud bac music playing.

Jenn won.

Dan just said it.

Sharon N said...

Actually, other than not winning POV, Dan does sound rather happy. Beer, champagne, cake and he even seems to be enjoying the music. lol
What a character!

OH MY GOODNESS JENN IS THE MOST ANNOYING PERSON IN THE HOUSE REIGHT NOW.

Not only because she chose the WORST time to actually win something. but her laugh, her singing, EVERYTHING

Brent McKee said...

I wonder just how many of the hamsters - besides Ian of course - would say "Who's Neil Armstrong?" if Julie were to give them that piece of outside news on Thursday? most of them would probably be more interested in Snooki giving birth.

Brit + Danielle -- Shackled together

Frank-- wearing a carrot suit

Dan-- Trapped in Have Not room with Disco for 24 hours

Ian-- ??

Jenn-- Winner and annoyingly clueless!

Sharon N said...

LMAO Brent!!!!
Sad, but true.

Anonymous said...

Dan's only way out is to out Ian!

He HAS to.

Jenn says she is definitely NOT changing the noms. Now they are just worried about Ian....of course he won't because of Britney.

Sharon N said...

This should get interesting.
Frank can't play in the next to HOH's.

Anonymous said...

Frank also can't compete in the next HOH after the next one.

Ian told Frank and Jenn he wouldn't use the power.

I'm beginning to think that Ian REALLY is playing BOTH sides of the house. Like not pretending to like Frank and sticking with QP, but playing them BOTH.

Anonymous said...

Frank apparently almost won, but was disqualified for saying a word out loud.

Frank also has to do the chum baths. Goodie :))))
