Big Brother 14: Live Feeds Monday Evening into Tuesday - Aug. 28

What a tangled web we weave ...

As sand through the hourglass, these are the days of their lives. My gosh, better them than me. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of the Emotionally Damaged:
  • Ian told Danielle that she won't have his vote to stay.
  • Well, duh. She knew that. She told him she's okay with it.
  • Dan told Frank that he needs to make sure he has the votes for Britney to go -- it's not necessarily a done deed.
  • He thinks Joe will vote what Frank wants, but feel he might be a wild card.
  • Oh, he's a card alright ...
  • Frank is sure he has both Joe and Jenn "in his pocket."
  • Hmm.
  • Britney, in between her Dan attacks (most of which were actually funny), told Frank he was duped.
  • Frank hates being duped.
  • Ian and Frank made two separate references about keeping up the act that they hate each other.
  • Hmm.
  • Britney actually heard it one time.
  • Dan and Britney had a long talk. She apologized for the hateful things she's been saying in anger, told him it was okay, he made a move to save himself.
  • Britney says she has a cute dress she wants to wear if she's going to be voted out on Thursday. She didn't get to wear it on her birthday last Thursday.
  • Joe told Britney that Jerry was right when he called Dan "Judas" in his season.
  • Well, yeah.
  • Joe told Ian he'd really like Britney to stay.
  • Ian and Joe know they'd have to talk Shane into it.
  • Hmm ... while Shane and Danielle do have a quasi-"thing" going on, that's more her than him.
  • But Shane did pinky-swear with her for a final two.
  • We all know the importance of the pinky-swear in the BB house and the weight it carries.
  • Then again, he has loyalties to Britney, too.
  • And she's nowhere near as high maintenance and needy as Danielle.
  • Speaking of which, at one point during the evening Danielle claimed she wasn't needy.
  • Britney, in the event she goes, reminded Danielle that Ian doesn't really want her (Danielle) out. He just wants Britney to stay and there's a difference.
  • Danielle fussed more about the hives on her neck.
  • After all, she can't let Britney get all the attention!
  • After drinking five beers, Ian went into severe rocking, making noises and mumbling to himself mode.
  • It looks like his mind is going a mile a minute trying to piece everything together and plan when he does that.
  • Shane misses his dog (at home). Danielle doesn't fill that void.
  • Jenn and Ian were the last up, not really talking to each other.
  • Jenn looked lost in thought while Ian did his Ian thing.
  • I personally would crack if I were in the house. I'd be pushing the panic button.
  • But that's just me.

Can this carrot be stopped?

Hey, Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbit out of this hat!

Split ends, split alliances

Pretty, I'm so pretty.

G'morning Ms J!

Brit being gone is NOT a done deal, IMO. The wind may blow in her direction, because she is just so much more pleasant to be around than is Delusionielle. Brit is funny, endearing, cute, always upbeat (well, until yesterday afternoon, but even then she bounced back).
And then I remembered Dan's apology/explanation to teary-eyed Delusionielle: and she went along with every word. She is completely aware that Brit was going to be shafted, felt no qualms.
Brit is smart, she is on her way to piecing this puzzle together.
Anything can happen. I'm hoping for a flip and watching Delusionielle leave.

From your typing to god's eyes Petals. I need Brit to stay just to keep me laughing. House will be dead without her. Well, at least boring.

Dani is so stupid!

Petals said...

meb - Right! Brit has endeared herself to more than just Ian, IMO. I think Joe, Frank, Shane (even Dan) all enjoy her company more than they do Delusionielle's.
Dani is needy, whiney, not funny, AND has a chronic case of "ME-itis".

Glad Dan is safe for another week, but would much rather Brit stay, too.

Shane could vote Dannielle out just so he doesn't have to keep shooing her away.

Ian might be have some mild form of autism.

What a difference a day makes.

Something tells me Dan still has a few tricks to pull out of his Memphis hat. He has created a trust issue with the other hamsters, but he is in a good position to make it to the end. JMO. I was thinking last night (that is dangerous at times) to Dan's funeral sermon to the houseguest. Was this Dan's way of telling each of them his honest intentions to how he is going to win this game? Was he telling Dani in advance that she is dead to him, he does not need her to get him to the end of the game and she would be leaving sooner than she thinks she is? He did give the biggest kudos to Frank and Ian, so maybe Dan sees himself going to the end with either one of them.

I agree with you Petals, Brit is not gone yet. I could handle a Brit stay and Dani go this week. I wonder if Ian will get his wish of Joe being out by a certain time.

It should be interesting to see what direction things will go.

Ok, so Ian cannot give Brit the veto ball?? he can keep it for himself???

What are the chances of Dan using this opportunity to get Dani out, and hiding his vote behind Joe or Shane? You know Dan would have a hard time voting for Dani since he was her coach, but if he can hide it, and knows that Brit is better for his game (having another former player still in the house makes his target a smidge smaller), it could be his chance to get Dani out. Plus, he did bring up to Frank that he needs to make sure that the votes are there. So maybe he's putting that in Frank's ear, thinking ahead that he's going to vote for Brit to stay.

meb said...

Anon 9:04 ... I hope you're right and Dan votes for Britney to stay... My thought would be that Dan might be afraid if Brit is still around she may get in Frank's ear too and convince him to put Dan up again.

Terry... The backdoor has already happened, so Brit doesn't have the option of using a veto now... Not being voted out is her only chance. I'm not even sure Ian can give the veto away, but he'd be crazy to do that if it's still good. He will eventually need to save himself, because ultimately, he will go up on the block.

Hmmmm.. wonder for how long that particular veto ball is good?

Anonymous said...

Meb- remember, Frank can't play for HoH for two weeks (this Thursday since he's outgoing and then next Thursday since he was DQ-ed in the POV). So Brit getting in Frank's ear wouldn't matter for another few weeks. And by then, hopefully he'd already be gone. Plus, for Dan, it's one more person who wants Frank out, so maybe someone else can do Dan's dirty work, keeping his hands clean.

RBennie said...

I can't wait to see tomorrow's show. I wonder how much we will actually get to see of what's happened since the veto ceremony.

Finally came up with a show for Britney. She would be brilliant in an Ellen Degenras type show. Maybe with past and present reality stars. I love Ellens wit which reminds me of Britneys. I would love for Brit to stay this week too, but glad that Dan is safe. GREAT captions again JACKIE. YOU ROCK!

Becky said...

I agree with RJ, great captions, Jackie. I hope that Brit can pull a "dan" and pull a miracle out of the hat.

I hate the WV tpye. It is hard on the eyes.

It's all about Danielle...

We get it.

thanks meb!
I guess I thought it was his to use whenever...he loves Brit I think..if Joe and Ian vote to keep her, Dan and Jen vote against, then its Shane she needs....Im hoping he listens to her...Dani needs to go to the jury house and cool her jets

From the conversation between Dan and Brit late last night, I'm thinking Dan has already started to patch things a bit with Brit.

Brit went into the room with Dan last night and they spent a long time talking. I can't remember exactly what all was said, but I was surprised when it appeared that he was kind of giving Brit some of what had gone on with Frank and Dan. If he is sucking Brit back in again, then I'm thinking he might even do some additional patching today and Wed.

I hope I will be able to watch TV tomorrow night and Thursday night too. we are in the cross hairs for Isaac.
I am also in favor of Brittany staying and Dani leaving. she and Ashley could have a grand old time together at the Jury house.
As long as I have power I will be checking in here for the latest hamster news.

RBennie said...

Stay safe Lynn. I just saw on CNN that Isaac has now reached hurricane strength.

Patty said...

Stay safe Lynn.

lynn1 said...

There is a tornado warning here. the tornado is about 3 miles from my house so I may lose power at any time. I will check ni to say hi when I can.

meb said...

lynn... do whatever it takes to remain safe... BB will be here when you can get back to it.

Anon 9:39... OMG.. you're right... Frank can't play for two HOH's... of course Brit's luck would be when (not if) Frank won the POV, whoever is HOH would put Brit back up once Frank took himself down AGAIN!!! I'm assuming whoever has HOH would put Frank on the block AGAIN..PLEASE!!!

This is really the best BB in a long, long, lonnnnnggg time!

meb said...

Becky... I've started using the WV as a challenge to see just how close I get. I've had to change it up to three times on different occasions. Make a game out of it... it helps!

I can tell you my first three letters right now are ass, but the rest is up for grabs... let's see if I can figure it out. : )

Uh..nope... now it's junk (I think)

Sharon N said...

Looks like Feeds might be down for maintenance. Sure glad this wasn't yesterday!!!

Sharon N said...

Brit is such a trip! Whatta nutcase!
Had a funny tantrum in the kitchen, throwing all Frank's food (in jars) to the floor.

Then she went into a wrestling match with Ted (bear). After sitting Ted back up, she apologized for biting his ear. LMAO

Sharon N said...

OMG... don't know how this could be a mistake or misunderstood, but a poster on Jokers just wrote:

"Danielle telling Brit that Dan told her that he had to make up something to make ppl think that Dan and Danielle hate each other."

Ok, never have liked Danielle, but now I'm convinced. Danielle and Shane can compete for stupid.

Sharon N said...

For anyone without the Feeds, or not able to read Jokers, another poster makes the convo a little more clear... and Dani not quite blabbing the way it sounded....

Dani: That's why I stopped crying in there.
Because it hit me what he was doing.
It hit me that he doesn't hate me.
It hit me that it was all just for show.
That he had to make up something that would make people think that we would ...
that he had to do something to make me hate him.
So that people would think that we wouldn't work together.
So that his ass could get saved.

The me hating him part was correct.
The him getting saved part was correct too.

Lynn stay safe. What part of LA are you in? I have a good friend (also named Lynn) in Picuynne, MS and several in Mobile and Pensacola. My friend Lynn moved from St. Bernard Parrish after Katrina... she lost all her possessions.

I hope Britney can talk her way out of this. I thought Dani was going to be my Bama girl but she is too much of a cry baby! They need to get her out this week!

monty924 said...

Sharon, Danielle has always had the 'foot in mouth' at anytime malfunction this season. Why would being on the block, with hives, and now some toxic poisoning change that? lol

This isn't necessarily over for Brit. There is still a long time between now and the Thursday vote and it very well could be Dani walking out to meet Julie Thursday night.

If I didn't say I want it to be Britney, for the backdoor and lie to Janelle move, I would be a liar, lol. Karma and all, you know?

I'm just taking in all this mass of game play, talk, and actions on the feeds and trying to make sense of it. Early on in the game is easy. When it gets down to a house divided like this one you just have to scratch your head and wonder. :))

I think Ian has burned too many bridges and I hate it for him because I was rooting for him so hard along with Dan. We shall see when the dust settles from this amazing week who really is driving this game. Frank, Dan, Ian, or Brit? I don't think Dani, Jenn, Shane or Joe are. They are all just sideline rooters and votes at this point. IMO

:)

monty924 said...

Lynn, yes - stay safe and we will catch up with you when the storm blows over. Will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

~~Silk said...

"...Dani, Jenn, Shane or Joe ... are all just sideline rooters and votes at this point."

Yes, they're not competitors, and that's a reason to keep them! You want to get out anyone who's in your way, like Frank, Dan, Brit, or possibly Ian. I can't see why any player would want to keep any of them around.

~~Silk said...

(By "them" above, I mean Frank, Dan, Brit, or Ian)

My family on the gulf coast (Grand Bay, Dauphin Island, Irvington, Mobile) are having wind, lotsa rain, but still have power at 7:20pm this evening. Thank Goodness!
Hope you are still powering ON, Lynn~

monty924 said...

The problem is, none of the four I mentioned as sideliners have what it takes to drive the game. Just my opinion.

~~Silk said...

Which is exactly why someone gunning for the top would want to keep them. They don't play, but can easily be played.

Sharon N said...

Dani or Shane "might" have a chance to win a HOH or POV. Key word, might.

Other than that, the sideliners are only throw-aways. Jenn did win POV this time, but only because Frank got DQ'd, so Jenn only got it by as strange default.

Petals said...

I knew it wouldn't take long: Brit & Delusionielle are turning on one another, sniping, snarking...@@
Poor Britney.

~~Silk said...

Sharon - that's my point. Who would you rather have sitting next to you at the end? Someone who played as hard as you did and will get votes, or a "throw-away"?

monty924 said...

No doubt anyone of them left have a chance at winning competitions, but I don't believe any of them have the 'gaming' smarts of Dan, Ian, Brit and Frank. :)

monty924 said...

I just had the best time ever watching Britney slam Frank's food boxes, cans, etc all over the kitchen and then beating the snot out of Ted. Came home from work and watched it on FB about two hours ago and I'm still giggling. :))

Sharon N said...

Silk,
I do find it kind of funny that the majority start the season saying 'out with the floaters' but when it gets down to final 2 or 3, they suddenly develop amnesia and want the floaters sittin' right next to them. lol

Frank just might work himself in a corner, ala Ian. He's been making final 2 and 3 deals all over the place. Even after handshakes on a deal, he's priming himself to stab whichever one is more powerful. First in his list is Ian, then Dan.

If Shane thinks Frank will take him to final 2, he's the total doofas that we all think.

Sharon N said...

Monty, another time I wished for feeds... when I read about Brit doing that to Frank's food and to Ted. That has to have been a sight. Would love to have seen Frank's reaction.

monty924 said...

Sharon, the funniest part of all of it was the commentary coming from Frank who was on the living room couch. He kept telling Britney "no, not that one", "don't throw that, Britney", then it came to him telling her, "you know you could take it out on Ted", lol.

It was golden!

Brit and Dani are at it again, lol

Petals said...

Someone posted earlier this week that Delusionielle couldn't stand the attention that everyone was giving Britney, so she (D) suddenly has contraced a plethora of ailments, from strep to shingles to hive to- what next? Measles? Bird flu? Hoof & Mouth disease? Geeminy! @@

Sharon N said...

Yes, but seems Brit is doing most of the ranting.

Anonymous said...

Didn't Brit threaten to rip apart a stuffed animal during her season?I can't remember the exact details, if so, makes me wonder if she has problems when she doesn't get her away

Sara

monty924 said...

Sharon, I think Brit is on a fishing expedition and she almost, almost got Dani to cave and spill it all. Britney is smart and realizes there is more to this deal than Dan and Frank. I got to hand it to Delusionelle for this round. Britney almost got her to spill the beans but she stuck to her "I hate Dan" stance.

Petals said...

Monty, I totally agree re Brit getting a taste of her own medicine about eviction. Everyone knows, and lies right to your face. Hmm...sound familiar, Britney?
But still, Brit is a cooler chick than desperate, diseased Dani.

monty924 said...

Petals, I think Dani was hinting at toxic shock or something earlier when she was blaming the paint that she got in her mouth and eyes. She can come up with some good ones. And... for the record, she didn't say toxic shock, just TOXIC. Don't want any rumors starting out of me, lol.

Any paint they through at them was not toxic, I'm sure of it.

We should be running a pool on what diagnosis Danielle will NOT mention this season. We probably would all be out of it by now though. :)

monty924 said...

I just mentioned the same thing in a Dingo chat thing. Brit is a big girl and she will own up to doing the same thing to Janelle before she gets out of there and if not in the jury house. I'm sure of it.

monty924 said...

Oh, one more about Dani and seeking attention. When everyone was laughing and having fun with the Britney v. Ted smackdown was going on, Dani's voice got a little more hoarse. You could hear her in the kitchen. Sounded like she was searching for some of that attention that Brit was getting from Frank, Dan and Joe. :))

monty924 said...

*threw
my 11:01 post. Long day, lol

Sharon N said...

Oh Monty, THAT is too funny!
Poor desperate little Delusionelle.
I realize this is catty, and will sound mean-spirited, but I can't imagine how any man could willingly be around her for more than 15 minutes.

Sharon N said...

Didn't take long for Brit's fight with Ted to be posted on youtube!

monty924 said...

That's great. It is a feeds moment to treasure. I still giggle all the time over Renny doing the Tim Conway Gorf thing and hearing Keesha laugh just makes me laugh even harder. :))

monty924 said...

Damn fish. Ian let Britney know she was probably going and now she's talking and crying with Danielle and we get fish. I'm still not sure Brit can't pull this out.

Sharon N said...

Brit's smart... constantly working on Danielle's emotions. It's appeared that she's been close to breaking Dani down for info a few times.

WE know what the deal was with Dan, but Brit must have a gut feeling that Dani has to know too. She's really working Dani over.

The guys were going to tell Brit she's going tonight, but sounds like DR told them they can't.

monty924 said...

Ian did, Sharon

monty924 said...

Britney's on a roll on BBAD and the feeds. Time to watch!

Sharon N said...

Yup, Ian told Brit she's being voted out, even if BB didn't want anyone to say.

Brit was freaking hysterical tonight, talking about Frank being the best at playing the game in BB history. Brits description had Dan eyes absolutely twinkling and he was really snickering. lmao

I can hardly wait for Jackie's breakdown of this one!!

monty924 said...

Me too, Sharon. Jackie's updates are the best.
