Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Monday into Tuesday - July 23-24

Andy's here

So, what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Fools since I last posted?
  • The daytime itself yesterday was a bit boring.
  • The highlight of the day was the HoH photo taking time.
  • Ho-hum.
  • But, by late afternoon/evening the MEOWS were starting to come!
  • Elissa said that she didn't like how Howard was always swearing on the bible. She said she's religious and doesn't think that's right (especially when lying!).
  • Then Elissa got ticked at McCrae and Andy because they "mocked" her religion.
  • Andy and McCrae felt bad as they really didn't mean to mock her religion at all.
  • No apologies accepted!
  • Amanda lamented the lack of alcohol. She thinks past seasons got more.
  • Wah-wah-wah
  • Elissa still wouldn't give up about the religion-mocking.
  • Helen once again told Aaryn she's safe.
  • As the night developed, it doesn't seem so much the case.
  • Elissa is really starting to live up to her sister's reputation ... to a point, anyway.
  • They're starting to think she's a crazy woman.
  • Amanda told Aaryn that Judd/GinaMarie/Howard/Spencer/Kaitlin were in a fake alliance.
  • Heh.
  • Judd claimed he wasn't loyal to that alliance!
  • Amanda told Judd that she thinks things are out of control.
  • Yep and I like it that way!
  • On a side note, GinaMarie texts while driving. Idiot!
  • Hmm ... Amanda told Judd his eyes were dilated and he should get his medicine. He told her not to tell anyone. I wonder what's going on there.
  • Judd really wasn't himself for a while. He was searching in zipped pillowcases and called both Candice and Elissa names (to McCrae, not to their faces).
  • Elissa told Kaitlin that people were lying about her to flip the vote and get her out.
  • Kaitlin ran to Andy fussing that Elissa told her she was getting voted out.
  • Aaryn was right there in the bathroom and overheard.
  • Then Aaryn was freaking out to McCrae and Amanda over the conversation.
  • Aaryn confronted the whole house (sans Candice who was either sleeping or showering and McCrae/Amanda -- we don't need to know what they're doing) about the conversation.
  • Elissa continuously lied, saying she never asked.
  • It was a brouhaha with words. Aaryn kept twisting it to people blaming things on her while Elissa claimed innocence.
  • While Aaryn really looked bad in the room, the after effect was that Elissa looks bad. She pretty much threw everyone under the bus and came across as a crazy liar.
  • Elissa is still on the anti-Aaryn kick, even more so now.
  • GinaMarie, of course -- the most strategic and strong player on the block -- managed to actually come across as the sensible one. Oh, by the way, that description of her is in her mind, not mine.
  • The whole evening only served to muddle the vote a bit, but in the big picture it put a HUGE target on Elissa's back.
  • Now everyone in the house thinks she's a loose cannon and want her out.
  • Amanda wants Elissa out before Howard goes.
  • You know that's bad.
  • Even Helen says she has to go.
  • Elissa claims she's the scapegoat, blamed Kaitlin, then Aaryn.
  • @@
  • Poor Judd. He's just dazed and confused at this point.
  • Mumble, mumble.
  • Amanda didn't escape the issues. Kaitlin thinks she's running the house and instigating a lot of the rumors.
  • Now everyone is buzzing about alliances, real and fake.
  • Elissa and Amanda are likely to be the next targets on the block.
  • I still think Kaitlin will probably go home, but it's a bit muddier now. If they could impeach Elissa, they would.

When will we know who america voted for? Or have I missed something?

Unknown said...

It came down to Elissa @RJM. Since both Kaitlin and Aaryn were already on the block (we assume) Elissa was next in line. She pulled herself off by winning POV and using it on herself. Gina Marie went up in her place.

Witt said...

Hi RJM,
America voted for Elissa. (Which is weird, considering they just voted three weeks of her to be MVP and make her own nomination.) She went up on the block, but won POV, and then took herself off. Gina is now on the block. I liked being MVP; I hope they do it again. It really made everyone fly into a tizzy (Elissa is MVP! Howard is MVP! etc etc).

Witt :)

Andrea, you type faster than I do! :)

Can we talk about Amanda and her threat? Did she really say she wanted "to sharpen a butter knife and kill Candice"? Wow! Can we just put the entire house on a 5150 Hold?

Was she at least called to the DR?

That's what I get for trying to get some sleep last night.

Unknown said...

Just barely Witt!

Petals said...

Just a thought, Ms J -

Elissa really wants to go home, does not want to go to jury (I know you told me that was a rumor about her 4wk contract, but I believe it).
Is it possible during her self-evict rant yesterday, producers advised her to just act-out in order to get evicted?

Witt said...

Petals, she isn't on the block anymore, right? Is she thinking toward next week?

Witt :)

Witt said...

P.S. "Self evict"? Could you do that?

Unknown said...

It really is crazy in there. Elissa's mood swings, Judd's glazed eyes (meds needed - diabetes maybe - he went a little nuts last night looking for something), Gina Marie's delusions, Amanda's violent threats and pathological need to be in control, Jessie's self esteem issues, McCrae's loss of identity, Helen's inability to keep her mouth shut, Aaryn's narcissism, Kaitlyn's mean streak, Candice's inability to let go of anger (no matter how well placed it might be), Howard's poor social skills (yeah, I know, that's pretty weak!) and my dear Andy. Don't really have anything for him. He appears to be the most normal of the bunch.

Oh, and I am not a doctor and I do not play one on TV.

Unknown said...

Petals, I truly would not put anything past the producers. I could see them orchestrating this.

Jackie S. said...

Petals - I don't thinks so. True, she might be acting up to get herself out of there, I guess. However, she's not even on the block. But I watched the whole "four week" deal thing come up on the feeds. It's a rumor started in the house and not by Elissa even.

On the other hand, if I were in the house, I'd be freaking out right and left hoping to get the boot.

Unknown said...

What crew casting picked this year. So amazingly dysfunctional.

lynn1 said...

Jackie if you had been in the house you would have been evicted the first week because you are too normal to fit in with this bunch of sick puppies.

Anonymous said...

Is it that time of the month, Elissa?

RBennie said...

This next HOH is going to be a big one. I can't wait to see how it plays out. I'm already over this week. Doesn't matter to me which one of the three goes home.

Anonymous said...

I just saw a post on another former from someone who supposedly worked for production until just a short while ago. She said even the winner is predetermined and gave the name of the person who will win. Do any of you think this is true? Or, was this person just ranting because she lost her job?

Jackie S. said...

Anon - I totally doubt that. I did know someone who was involved in production a few seasons ago. He always said that it really doesn't matter to them who wins, people love or hate the winner each year.

Anonymous said...

Producers have a hand in this show for sure. I recall when Janelle was on and the competitions were ture and false and other ones that were just answering questions and that is because she was so good at them. The producers did not arrange those kind of competions ahead of time because there are usually more endurance ones in between. I know they wanted to keep Jeff there too. I remember an excellent interview with the producers of Paridise Hotel and they talked openly about being involved in who they wanted to keep around and how they managed it.

Unknown said...

I do believe the producers stir up controversy to get the hamsters riled up. But I think its just a bunch of rumors that they decide who will win. Show me an interview in a major publication where producers admit they conspired to get/to keep certain house guests and I might give it a second thought. Otherwise, just rumors without any validity.

Anonymous said...

The interview I was talking about was on Fox some time way after Paradise Hotel was made. I can't think of the producers name right now but it was on a show similar to The E True Hollywood Story. There is no doubt they manipulated the story to thier liking.
Evil Dick has said several times that produers get involved and that "Reality isn't what you think". When all the votes went wrong for CBS regarding Elissa.....my family and I laughed like crazy when she won POV. Like that was a shock. They made it happen....IMHO. Just sayin.

Anonymous said...

Elissa has said from almost day one she did not want to go to jury. She is a mom. You might have heard that maybe a millionnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn times. She has a family!!!

Petals said...

I dunno. I have to admit that I'd LOVE this to be completely natural and no production manipulation. BUT! It seem that we go fishing whenever Elissa even mentions DR or production (everyone else gets a warning). And she changes her microphone several times a day, where everyone else is 2-3/week.
IMO, Elissa was pressured to be there by Rachel and production, I think she did it FOR Rachel, and I think Rachel is coaching her from the sidelines.
I hope I'm wrong, but I bet I'm not.
Witt - yes, you can leave (self-evict)
Andrea - So true - Andy is normal, relatively speaking. I love him.

Petals said...

Anon 9:22am -

Who did your producer contact say would win? Now I'm totally curious - Judd, I hope. Or Jessie. Or Andy.
(just not a meanie)

No one wants to discuss sharpening butter knives?

Petals, I do love some Andy (could be the name!) My fear is that since he has ingratiated himself with everyone, they will realize he is a threat because he's so likable. But they are so dysfunctional, they may not see it. Because when you get to the end, he seems the only once that hasn't pissed someone else off.

Sharon N said...

Petals - it's posted in the News & Rumors section on Jokers. Amanda and Grodner have supposedly been friends for years.

If people read the post, there's a moment for contemplation, but then reality takes over. Since the post says he/she has facts but won't post them until 1-2 days before the final, it has to be BS. Why not blow the CBS "plan" out of the water and post the info now? More likely, this simply a disgruntled former CBS employee... or someone who decided it would be fun to try and shake CBS up on their own?

Anonymous said...

is it just me!!! but ive notice that Amanda is prejudice, worst than aaryn...at least aaryn speaks her silly mind out loud....AMANDA IS SLY ABOUT IT....look back if you can when she WARNS aaryn not to talk out loud about aaryn's prejudices...you don't WARN HER, YOU TELL HER YOU DONT CONDONE THAT BEHAVIOR...I really like Amanda, but her prejudice is sly, on the down-low....check her out.

Pat, you are so on point about Amanda - I have being saying it too. She is as bad as Aaryn, not just as vocal. And she makes these little sly comments - like the day of the interview show they did for AD. They needed two black napkins and Amanda said Candice and Howard should go get them.

Petals said...

Andrea - The good news is that Andy is not on anyone's radar. They all accuse him of "floating", but he is a master at it. He may just float to the end :)

Amanda is a VERY SMART player. Abrasive-yes, cocky-yes, manipulative-absolutely! But so wily. She has a deflection mechanism that rivals the US Govt, LOL
She angers me at times, but I have to give a hi-5 to Amanda for her game.

Unknown said...

I don't disagree Petals on Amanda but I truly believe she skates by on her racist comments because she is not as vocal as Aaryn.

Anonymous said...

Hi I'm the Anon from 9:22am and someone else already posted exactly what I was talking about. I read that Amanda is the winner and that she is very good friends with production. I don't have feeling either way about Amanda I just really hope the show isn't fixed like that.

Petals said...

OMG, Amanda? Nooo...she doesn't even really need the money :(
She DOES have a real estate license in FL and CA, tho. I can totally see her knowing Grodner.

I sure hope it isn't rigged.

Jackie S. said...

Conspiracy theories abound. Grassy knoll, anyone?

@@

Unknown said...

LOL Jackie! I know right?

Jackie S. said...

Sharon - People are going to fall for every rumor or guess they read. I've already stated my case that I actually knew someone who worked production for a few season on BB and several on TAR and how reality works on the show -- comps planned and scheduled long before the HG are even aboard, etc. But people would rather believe outrageous rumors.

Jackie S. said...

It happens every season, Andrea.

Dan said...

My opinion, if they waste this chance to get ARYAN out of the house, they'll really blow it and end up either having her as one of the finalists or worse, the winner. That would be a really bad example to set to make a blatant racist/bigot the winner. Not to mention, all will be lost in the meaning of being fired by her job. They need to vote her out this week, and then proceed with their agenda...JMHO

bj said...

Jackie- You mean there wasn't a second shooter? @@

Petals said...

Well, the show can't have been rigged last year, b/c everyone loved Janelle and she was out very early.

Petals said...

Evil Dick was the 2nd shooter.

Unknown said...

Petals, I was not on the Janelle wagon. I know I was in the minority but she drove me a bit bonkers!

RBennie said...

While I don't believe the show is rigged per se, I do believe there is plenty of "nudging" going on behind the scenes. Now if Amanda actually does wind up winning, I might have to rethink all that. The way I see it is that she is way too dangerous to leave in the house for much longer and everyone in that house should see that by now.

Unknown said...

No it was Col. Mustard, in the conservatory, with a rope.

Unknown said...

RBennie, I agree. I think the producers say things to them in DR to really get them going. Like last night - they went nuts! Most of that was MVP vote fallout but I think the producers had a hand in the brouhaha as well.

Petals said...

Andrea - I was so close to making a Clue reference, LOL

(not a Janey fan? OMG, I LOVED her!)

RBennie - ditto. If Amanda wins, I will have lost all faith.

You put complete strangers in a house. You deny them any contact with the real world. You give them very little to do and no real stimulus. Lots of down time to think and paranoia sets in. The only outside stimulus is the DR. How much of a nudge, push or question does it take to send them twirling off into a deeper world of paranoia? Even those who are responsible adults in the real world lose all common sense. They second guess and they freak out. Do I think the DR conversations do their most to turn the house upside down—yes. Do I think they plan it out for “their” person to win—no.

Sharon N said...

Dan - I would agree with you about Aryan, except she isn't the only racist/bigot in the house. In fact, I'm having a hard time deciding who is worse!

Aryan has gotten the most heat... maybe because she was the first to spew? She also gives the impression that she feels entitled because she's "pretty" (IMO, pretty spoiled). Her pretty-girl exterior has become ugly from her inner spirit.

In case anyone has missed remarks by Kaitlyn and Amanda, they have said thing very similar to Aryan, but seem to have skated by without as much hatred. GM has also said things (and it's cost her job-wise), though she mostly has a really bad potty mouth.

Kaitlyn has displayed that mean-girl spirit that makes everyone cringe. Amanda is no better. She's a bully, but slightly sneakier about racist things she says. As far as Amanda's butter-knife threat... she's in business and should know better than to say those kinds of things, even if she was joking.

And then we have good ol' Spencer. Just as we think he might be getting a bit better, he starts in again. Although I've not heard him make actual racist remarks, is it any better that he makes constant disgusting remarks about women? Not to mention, his sex talk is offensive to the majority of the viewing public.

The truly shocking thing is that most of these people are educated, but behave like incredible idiots. BB had to have told them that multiple video cameras will be running 24/7, and that the feeds will catch every move and statement. Do they not realize that also means everything has been recorded for posterity?

SHARON/PETALS/ANDREA....

PETALS=but I have to give a hi-5 to Amanda for her game.

I DONT AGREE WITH THAT...EVEN IN A GAME, YOU COULD BE ALL THAT YOU HAVE SAID ABOUT AMANDA, BUT EVEN IN A GAME YOU SHOULDNT USE DEROGATORY TERMS, NAMES, SLURS AT ALL...AARYN, AMANDA, AND KAITLIN ARE BULLIES, EVEN JEREMY....I CANT HI -5 ANYONE THAT HAS TO PUT SOMEONE DOWN TO APPEAR TO BE BETTER...WHAT DO YOU THINK? AMANDA I STARTED TO LIKE UNTIL SHE WENT ALONG WITH THE CONVERSATION WITH AARYN, KAITLIN AND JEREMY....

monty924 said...

The BB grapevine is notorious for rumors and speculation that become FACT overnight. That's why I've always taken things with a grain of salt.

I also think Amanda is playing her guts out and as long as she's a bigger threat/target than McCrae, I'm happy. Everyone who wants Amanda out also says in the same breath that they want to keep McCrae. I have a feeling he'd play an even better game if she would go packing, so here's hoping! :)

About the producers knowing the winner: do you honestly think that they would have picked that 'retard' spewing, drug smuggling idiot of a winner in S9? I doubt it. I also doubt they had anything to do with the Nerd Herd running S6. Just my opinion.

Of course they influence them in the DR. Everyone from Jessica (S8) to Evel Dick to Ian has admitted it. But ED and Ian have said it didn't mean squat to them and they did what they wanted to do anyways.

Can't wait to see the reaction on Elissa's face on the show tonight when she's the MVP nom.

Petals said...

Pat - my only defense of my comment (re Amanda having good game) is that she DID and DOES participate in the conversation of the moment, which is part of her good gaming, IMO.

No, I don't agree with the slurs by any of the HGs, but at least Amanda is gaming thru it, while the meanies (AA/K/GM) were just being mean, pulling tongue and acting nasty and not gaming beyond their respective showmances.
Again - JMO.

Petals said...

I'll tell you what is beginning to disgust me - Spencer and his sexual fascination with Jessie. He even told her that he imagines "she" tastes like butterscotch. (he's said this a coupla times, most recently to her face) I mean, isn't that crossing some line? Anyone? Beuller?

monty924 said...

Agree with Petals. It's never acceptable to say the things this crew does, but Aaryn, Kaitlin, GM and Jeremy did it to just be mean. There was no game in it. They didn't do it to stir up trouble, to paint targets on anyone's back. They're just mean girls and one mean guy. If anyone of them had paid more attention to the game they were playing, they might not be in the situation that they are.

Anonymous said...

Unless the producers are rigging it for their friends, I don't see why they would care who ultimately wins. However, what they do want is ratings. To get them, they probably do what they can to keep viewers interested.

So, especially as the season goes on, it looks like they try to influence strategy and nominations, and select from pre-planned competitions to favor houseguests they want kept to maximize ratings.

Anonymous said...

spencer is crossin the line......

Anonymous said...

After the voting went the wrong way because people did not pay attention.....it was very odd that Elissa won POV. Sorry...it just is. I do like Amanda and think she is a great game player. Too bad she cannot calm down. She would win on her own merrits.

Jackie S. said...

Opinions are not to be construed as facts and should be noted as such. The comps are already pre-planned and pre-scheduled months ahead of time.
