Big Brother 15: The "I'm sorry if I offended anyone" Season

Although the cast interview at CBS.com aren't up as of this posting, you didn't really miss much if you missed them last night. Repeated apologies from the hamsters, really bad music, long lags in between interviews, very lightweight interviews with Jeff ... as poorly handled as the casting job was done in the first place for this season.

So, it's fitting.

I found written transcripts of backyard interviews by ET Online - check them out. EW.com has a lengthy podcast interview with the final three, too. They definitely got a bit more into things than did the CBS interviews.

All in all, I'm glad the season ended. Hopefully next year, I'll have a hamster to cheer on. I didn't even feel that way about most of the so-called "good" people this year. I liked Helen, then she went over the top. I liked Howard, but he seemed in his own game world and really didn't have a strategy, so he lost me. I liked Judd, but he would go weird at times. And so on.

I actually liked Evel Dick in his season. Yeah, I admit it. I also liked Ian Terry despite the fact he was a perpetual motion machine. Dr. Will made me smile and laugh. I could root for them despite their faults. But I never even liked anyone enough this season to declare myself a fan.

Time to move on ...

I totally agree with every word you said. I have watched every season and this one was, by far, the most disappointing.

Thanks, Jackie! Seriously, you have the best site and the best commenters. Thanks again and see you next BB season. I don't watch Survivor or Amazing Race so I sometimes check in on Sundays for your off-topic posts and incredible photography. Enjoy the rest of your staycation :)

Here are some of the interviews from the backyard if you want to see for yourself how bad they were. Not all of them though.

Jackie-
I agree with all you said. I miss the superpass interviews with Missy/Chelsia...
As I have said before I am not really into survivor or TAR. I do watch every now and then.
Glad this is over although I will miss the chatting with all you guys!!
See you next summer!!!
See you in nine months!!

I totally agree with you Jackie - 2nd worse season I have actually stayed and watched to the end. Worst season (imho) was the one with the couples and I stopped watching that one about 1/3 into it. I am glad this is over. I wonder if we will be hearing from any of these people ever again.

I plan to watch some of the interviews later.

Thanks again!

The apologies I've heard so far have been half-hearted. If I heard someone say: "I apologize for many things I said and did that were offensive to both houseguests and audience members, and I am going to do some real soul-searching to learn how to change these things about myself." then I would believe that it is a truly sincere apology.

Thanks so much for everything, Jackie!!!

Thanks, Jackie, for all you do for us! Despite being the worst season ever, the controversies did boost ratings, so I suspect we'll get more of the same (or worse) in seasons to come. Which is sad, because my favorite seasons have been the ones where most everyone gets along with each other.

Am I the only one who thinks the Jeff interviews are...pretty useless? Also, no big shocker that none of these so-called apologies sound sincere. And wow, has little miss Aaryn been prepped and schooled or what? In the CBS interview, she comes across as so prissily insincere. Shocker LOL.
I agree with AlbGlinka on and think "half-hearted" is being kind. I'm with everyone else who is happy to move on from these HGs...although clearly I need to be weaned from Jackie's site and commenting ROFL.

And the winners of the BB15 pool are...

Nickelpeed, jessica Underwood, Patti, Brent McKee

I'm usually totally into doing the pool and posting the updates weekly but this year just wasn't much fun. Most years we all root for our pool picks in the comments but this year there wasn't much said. I sincerely hope next year is better! Thanks for making the season tolerable Jackie! I don't know how ya do it!!
