Big Brother 16: Live Feeds into Saturday pre-dawn - July 26

Derrick and Frankie hug

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Sad Times, But the Show Must Go On:
  • Before the news came down about Derrick's grandfather's death, Hayden gave Victoria some sage advice.
  • Apparently she had some fit of temper after losing the comp.
  • Hayden told her that if she continued acting angry with everyone, it will turn the target on her. He told her to cry to the Diary Room, feel free to cry to him ... but outwardly act "normal" for the house on the whole.
  • Later on in the evening, Derrick gave her pretty much the same advice.
  • Hayden and Nicole know that Derrick, Zach and Cody have a final three deal. They think Zach is the weak/unpredictable link and must go soon.
  • Hayden thinks they could backdoor Zach this week, but he'd rather Amber or Caleb get backdoored.
  • Hayden pushed his backdoor either Amber or Caleb plan to Frankie, pointing out that voting out Victoria would be a waste as they can control her and Jocasta isn't a threat because she's unlikely to win HoH.
  • Of course, they're all keeping Caleb and Amber under the impression that Victoria is indeed the target while telling Victoria she's safe this week unless she does something foolish and keeps acting out.
  • Well, if she wins the veto again ...
  • Derrick differs a lot from Frankie in his time of grief. Frankie had been open to hugs and tears and company. While Derrick seems touched that his fellow houseguests are so sympathetic, he's the kind who sat quietly for a long time while others didn't quite know what to do or say. Then he went to the Have Not room, laid atop the bed with a hoodie over his face to hide tears. He told Victoria he needed some time, a half-hour or so, to be alone and he would be okay.
  • Frankie offered to go to the Diary Room and tell them he'd eat slop this week so Derrick could have real food. Derrick told him he appreciated the offer, but he didn't want (or need) any preferential treatment.
  • Like Frankie's grandfather, Derrick's grandfather was watching the show because he's on it, but probably had no idea the whole premise or what was going on.
  • Of course, some of us long-time hamster watchers are often in the same boat with that!
  • Caleb says he first fell in love with Amber when he saw her in casting -- there were so many pretty girls there, but he knew she was the one he wanted.
  • @@
  • Caleb doesn't want to look like an idiot on television.
  • A bit too late for that, don't ya think?
  • Derrick is sure the double HoH bit will be going away soon. I agree -- just the logistics of the numbers in the house predict it can't last much longer.
  • Derrick and Frankie think Zach needs to mend fences with Christine for the numbers. Zach doesn't want to.
  • Derrick told Victoria she needs to stop going on about losing the Battle of the Block. It's over. Concentrate on winning the Power of Veto.
  • They discussed other BB seasons. Derrick doesn't think people are liking this season so much; Hayden thinks it's possibly due to the unanimous votes and predictability.
  • He has something there. But, as far as casting goes, this season has a much better cast overall than last summers Season of Hate Speech.
  • Nicole got to shun her Germa-tard at midnight in an awkward dictated by BB "strip" dance.
  • Nicole told Victoria she thinks Amber is "fake nice."
  • Yep, she is.
  • Cody and Derrick are concerned about Zach -- he's messing up his game with his mouth and is so uncontrollable.
  • Derrick is also worried that his Team America ally Donny might target him.
  • He probably should worry -- Donny made him out to be the brains of the covert operations long ago.
  • Cody thinks he will be the target of Caleb if Amber goes. He'd prefer if Caleb went first.
  • Victoria told Cody that, before she left, Brittany told her to only trust Cody and Derrick.
  • That brought back Cody's guilt over targeting Brittany.
  • Hey, that's Big Brother.
  • As it stands, it looks like Amber is the backdoor plan for the week if PoV is used. If not used, it's a bit of a toss-up whether it would be Victoria or Jocasta going home.

Good Morning Jackie. Love the 4 photos showing a somber bunch, and you would think it would be because of the additional sad news they've received, but when you actually look at the pictures you realize, that each have their own reasons for being captured that way. Frankie's is probably true due to being sad.

Most would prefer Caleb put OTB but Frankie is more afraid of Amber, so it will probably be her.

I just don't get all the paranoia over Amber. It's not like shes actually won anything! If she goes, I don't care what Caleb says, he will be furious and after Frankie and anyone else he deems responsible. On the other hand, if Caleb goes, Amber is more likely to be relieved... plus the other girls don't like her much (jealousy?) so she would probably only have Cody somewhat in her corner.

Very refreshing the way Derrick is reacting. Doesn't want special treatment. Respect for him.
Guess he won't be having giving a 30 minute speech to America.

I would like to see Caleb gone first.
Derrick is not asking for any extra treatment.
I still don't like Christine and Nicole is taking on Chris- attitude.
Its not very becomming.

Why is it that these girls seem to feel so entitled. Did anyone tell them it was a game? Maybe Victoria can clue them in. LMAO

Derrick is my pick to win and I hope he does............he has mastered this game and is a great player at it. He has kept this game together with this nutty bunch and I find it hard for anyone to frankly not praise his game. He keeps calm and in control all the time. Granted due to his professional training, but I love it. It will get tougher as the numbers dwindle and he gets on the block. He just has to survive that and if he can.......he deserves to win! Name another that can match his performance to take the $500.........I can't think of one. And, NO I am not his wife or family :)

POV player picked: Frankie, Victoria, Jocasta, Christine, Donny, Hayden

If anyone had the balls, now would be the time to get out Caleb, but the semi-macho males will pick Amber.

Veto Competiton players: Hayden, Christine, and Donny are playing with Amber hosting..along with the 2 nominations Victoria,Jocasta and Frankie the HOH.

I just hope they don't change their minds and decide it's time for crazy Zack to go OTB again.

Nobody holds a candle to Zack for providing real upheaval and entertainment. Donnie is a great guy and I want him to stay around, but he doesn't get situations going anythig like Zack.

THE ONLY PERSON WHO WOULD NOT USE THE VETO IS CHRISTINE.
SHE WANTS VICTORIA OUT BADLY.

I WANT CALEB OUT BEFORE AMBER....

uncartie said...

I'm not so sure any of the veto player would use the veto other than the 2 that are up on the block.
See Frankie has this thing where he wants the whole house to vote the same way. That might be a problem if Amber went up.

I think Donny would possibly take Jocasta off if he wins it. He knows that the other side has numbers against him.

Well I want calab and amber both to stay, get one of the boring ones like Christine, Jocasta, Nicole or Hayden out! Can't see ZACH making it to final 3. Ideally, calab realizes he and amber aren't in the alliance and form one with the rest of the house. Doubt that will happen tho!

monty924 said...

But Trish, Nicole and Christine can't be put up as a replacement this week. Zach can but Frankie's not putting him up.

Sharon N said...

I'd like Christine gone before Jocasta or Nicole... because I really can't stand her. But Chris' eviction will have to wait for another week.

If the present 'Rulers of the Roost' have anything to say about it, Amber will go up/out this week, with Caleb next week...unless Caleb cleans up his ME-ME-ME act and someone else gets slated to go instead (like Zack or Donny).

After Caleb (if he's next), the girls will be steadily marched out, one after the other (Vic first). After that, we can expect to see the boot go to Hayden/Donny.. whichever can be done first. It's all so predictable this year.

Frankie would probably like to have Zack in the final 3. They get along and actually like each other. I get the impression Frankie thinks he's a much smarter player than Zack. That's up for debate...

HAyden won POV. Plan is to backdoor Amber but Caleb must be on board.

anonymouse said...

Caleb won't be onboard. And he'll tell Amber making Franki a target if his either way.

uncartie said...

HAyden will use POV on Victoria. Grrr!

Preliminary plan is to BD Amber but Frankie will make no final decision until the boys all have a meeting. Caleb must be on board and they plan to explain to him that Amber is making a fool out of him on national TV. Amber has not talked to him in 2 1/2 days so he's upset to begin with.

I hate to see this but at least there will be some drama.

Sharon N said...

Lots can happen between now and Hayden using POV on Victoria.
While Frankie wants Amber gone (she's such a threat ya know), he and Hayden also agree nobody would believe her.

So who knows... maybe Caleb will end up OTB instead? If they were all as smart as they think they are, they'd seriously unload Christine... maybe even before Caleb or Amber.

Anonymous said...

Isn't Hayden and more likely to listen to Christine than Frankie? He won't use it.

uncartie said...

Geniuses they're not. Frankie says if Caleb blows up at him for planning to put up Amber he will put up Caleb.

Sharon N said...

Not much of a fine line, but Caleb and Victoria are rather alike.

Caleb = It's all about ME.
Victoria = It's all about ME.

uncartie said...

Frankie now brokering peace between Nic,Chris & Zach. Nic & Chris say everything is fine since they're both safe. Apparently they are still too stupid to realize that girls are getting picked off every week.

uncartie said...

Caleb now in 6th grade cowboy mode explaining why he and Amber are not talking. He got upset because she said 'Are we good"? to him.
He is upset because she didn't come up to him and say "Can we talk"?

"We have not talked for 2 1/2 days. She was rude to me". @@
He is now relating the same story to Nicole, (eye roll)

Now he's telling the exact same story to Zach. @@ Zach now fueling his anger by reminding him everything he did for her.

Unbelievable!

Sharon N said...

Zack's is hysterical. When this season started, I really didn't think I'd like him, but he provides great entertainment.

Anonymous said...

If they can get Caleb to think they are putting up Amber because she dissed him, he s even dumber than he looks.

uncartie said...

Caleb in cowboy beast puppet mode as Zach is instructing him what to say to Amber.

Whatever happens I just hope Amber rips him a new one! IMO,he ruined her game with his stalker behavior and his ridiculous fantasy that they're going to be in some kind of relationship.

Latest Calebism? He was made to lick a deer's heart when he was 6 years old.
