Big Brother 16: Live Feeds into Thursday - August 7

Caleb is being filled in

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Topsy Turvy and Bunny Slippers:
  • The long feeds blockage last night was indeed the halfway party.
  • The Have Nots and Caleb/Victoria got to eat pizza with everyone else. So, now no one can whine (Caleb!) that they're starving to death heading into the comp(s) tonight.
  • They could also imbibe. Caleb apparently had a six-pack worth of beer.
  • Well, that's really smart for someone who's been complaining about stomach issues!
  • Zach finally went to the HoH room to talk with Nicole.
  • A bit late for that, I think.
  • He told her that she never was his target. She said he told her she was and put her on the block ... and that she even had a crush on him and why would she want him out if she didn't think she was his target?
  • Oh my.
  • She told him she knows he acts up for television, but her feelings were hurt.
  • She then told him since he came up to talk to her, now she thinks he'll stay.
  • Say WHAT?
  • Oh, there's more!
  • Now, the "big" alliance is back!
  • Derrick rallied the troops and they all think Nicole and Hayden have been playing them against each other.
  • You heard me.
  • Frankie, Christine, Derrick, Cody, Caleb and Zach all think that they've been played by the "outsiders" and have reunited.
  • Well, except Caleb.
  • He doesn't really think much at all; he just gets told stuff.
  • Derrick thinks that Hayden has been protecting Donny.
  • Christine told Cody she did NOT say she'd put him (and Derrick) up on the block.
  • (She did, too!)
  • Derrick decided they have to draw the line -- either vote Zach out OR tell Frankie that Nicole et al wanted to backdoor him, draw him and Christine back in the fold for the numbers.
  • Sigh.
  • They decide on the latter.
  • Cody thinks that Donny orchestrated the whole Hayden/Nicole movement.
  • Now they decide that they need to keep Zach.
  • They plan to let Hayden and Nicole think that Zach is still being voted out, but might tell Victoria.
  • Hmm.
  • The plan is to blindside Hayden/Nicole/Donny with a vote to keep Zach and evict Jocasta.
  • And, as Frankie puts it, "Zankie will survive another day."

Guess who's back together?

Hayden's been playing us!

Leftover pizza from the party

Walking laps and checking FitBits

Bros in arms once again

Arrrggghhhh!!! Oh well, at least it's interesting. And how does Christine manage to keep being in the mix?!

I am no big fan of Jocasta but I thought having Zach leave would shake things up a bit.
I guess it doesn't really matter who gets HOH Derrick will decide who stays and who goes.
I think Derrick deserves to win at this point but I hate the predictability of seeing Jocasta, Nicole,Hayden and Donny leaving.

What a waste. As much as I want to see Jocasta leave because she is worthless, I wanted them to shake things up and evict Zach.
Now our only hope is for Hayden or Donny to win the next HOH for something good to happen.
Derrick is setting himself up for a big fall. He needs to realize that he is only going to have strong competitors to compete against if he continues down this road. No one will want to take him to the end.
I hope they tell them that it is America's Team, not America's Duo to make him want to keep Donny.
What does Cody have against Donny? It is the same irrational fear of the beard that Christine had. So weird that they both think he is some kind of mastermind behind everything. He rarely talks to anyone. How is he supposed to be able to do all this stuff they accuse him of. His beard must go do all this while he is asleep.

Oh great! Flip-flopping.....something new to BB (not). I didn't care for Nicole at first. I told my kids, "if you go to the hospital and she's your nurse, run like hell". However, she has grown on me. I feel bad that she befriended Christine. Derrick really is having all the say. We'll see tonight if he has the do as well.

Wow. These hamsters really will flip on a dime! I was looking forward to Zach being blindsided. So much for that. I don't really like Derrick, but I have to give him props for having complete control of the house.

Nothing against Zach but 7 vs 3 is kinda' boring. Are they going to control the Jury with their 'numbers' too?

Dual HOH & BOTB turned out to be disappointing. Kind of ruined the game somewhat IMO.

(It would have been nice just once to see the HOH's OPPOSE each other with their nom's rather than work together. Maybe then the BOTB would have been more meaningful)

But give credit to the 'boys'. They stuck together and took advantage of the 'twists'. Just not very entertaining!

I'm all for the flip-flopping. They were going to unanimously evict Zach which would have caused ZERO drama. By keeping him and not telling everyone we get a split vote and the potential for drama increases!

Chacha said...

Orkmommy- except last night they did discuss telling Hayden and Nicole before the vote. Frankie wanted to cover his but but Derrick said they shouldn't

Chacha said...

I was kind of hoping the Rationale alliance would work. I think this will be the downfall of Derrick. I don't see how he can come out unscathed. I hope he makes it through the double eviction!

I'm all for the drama, but this predictable season is only going to become more predictable. 7 vs. 3 is boring to me.

uncartie said...

I'll be glad to see the worthless Jacosta gone.

But what I'd really like to see is Derrick get evicted tonight, then sit back and watch how the boy's alliances operate without the puppet master.

I'm with you uncartie

I agree. Watching the underdogs get picked off one by one is not a good time. The only thing that will throw a wrench in the works is a Hayden or Donny HOH win.

I am sooo happy Zack stays. He bring humor and drama. Bad news is Christine seems safer this way. I say get rid of every floater and thennnnnnnn Let the Games Begin. I hope Victoria leaves too and then its a battle.
Thats what BB is suppose to be.
How many years will they let floaters float to the end!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so Derrick was asleep in bed and suddenly popped straight up (thinking).
This was after everyone was in bed. Then he went to the DR for a long time.
Just thinking here.....
I wonder if he's had a sudden brain fart about voting to evict Zack...and then blame it on someone in "his" group?
Wouldn't that be a lovely turn of events? lol

Sharon N said...

My wish is for it to be true and the blame to go on Crusty!!

Anonymous said...

YES..Truth be told...Derrick has done back stabbing and many many alliances just like Christine, its just that Derrick is more likeable.
I wish they had voted for America's player later in the game. They certainly would have not made the same choice.
I won't mind if Derrick gets "GOT"!!

If they decide to keep Zach, the Bomb Squad really will be the downfall of this season. The half house alliance had enough numbers to cannibalize a couple of members, vote out a few outsiders, and now put themselves in position to control the house until the final 6. From there things will be interesting, but these next few weeks will be boring unless Donny/Hayden/Nicole can keep winning HOH.

Anonymous said...

They should have immediately sequestered the HoHs and made them make their nominees on the spot.

Chauncey said...

i really hate when people call the hamsters "worthless" i guess they mean it from an entertainment standpoint but it still rubs me the wrong way. all humans have worth. anyway if derrick gets his way things really wont heat up until donny, hayden or maybe victoria win HOH or they are gone. then the bomb squad can canabilize itself. im still pulling for donny, repping for the old dudes like myself LOL.

uncartie said...

Chauncy<I'm one of those that refers to certain hamsters as "worthless". It's not personal and it's certainly not how I think of them as a human being.

It's strictly about their play in the game. Jacosta is my prime example. She has proven she is unable to even come close to winning a competition. She doesn't talk game and has no plan that that I'm aware of. She spends a significant amount of her time in the house sobbing, feeling sorry for herself,
or laying in bed perhaps malingering illness or injury.

So,As BMC would say "At the end of the day" she's worthless in the BB house.

There is LOTs of game left in this with the battles left to play and POV's yet to be determined. AND of course the emotions and backstabbing of the players changing minds and sides yet to come. THis group has plenty of that left in it for sure! Plus when you get closer to the end they have to do it just by the numbers left to deal with in the game. It becomes eat or be eaten to get to that final 2.

I loudly and from the start have been a fan of Derrick. He has mastermind this so beautifully and guided all these clueless players ( with few exceptions) along the way so effectively. He has a heart and has never belittled anyone regardless of which side they were on either. He plays to win but isn't mean or evil, he is A PLAYER as one should be in ths GAME OF BIG BROTHER. Which they all should have respect for when voting for a WINNER.
I would hate to see him go but he has played so well. Donny too. Great final two.

Tonight should be fun to watch with a double.......enjoy!!!

I'm getting the impression now that Derrick wants a "real" split vote... because he's not telling Victoria anything about the majority voting to keep Zack.

Keep in mind that the BS crew is planning on Victoria's vote... because she's supposedly in Derrick's pocket.

So, if Donny, Hayden, Victoria (and maybe Derrick doing the opposite of his group) vote to evict Zack...
And Cody, BMC, Frankie and Christine voting to keep Zack...
That would leave Nicole as the deciding vote!!!

We shall see, but something tells me Derrick might be pulling a fast one on everybody!!

David said...

Chauncey. You are correct in I mean worthless from a game and entertainment value. Sorry if you take that the wrong way. If I was to try to play any sports at this point in my life everyone would call me worthless. I wouldn't take offence at it, I know I would be and look the fool trying.
I have zero idea how she managed to get cast on BB or why. Or why she even tried in the first place. Like me and sports, she not cut out to be there.

Chacha said...

Derrick has stated many times since last night that he will talk with Victoria just before the vote.
He has already started working on her this afternoon but not come out and said they have flipped the votes.
Victoria nonchalantly tried to get derricks attention a few hours ago but it didn't work.
It was quite funny as she was trying this.

Guess I'll just have to read the updates tonight. No BB here until 2:30 am :(((

Sharon N said...

Ditto Monty, but 1:30 here.
Dang it!!!!

Ed in Ohio said...

Monty, Bummer!! Bengals game? 2:30? That's really late.

Browns don't play until Saturday for us.

Hopefully the Pool Party can help!

'Dang' for Sharon too!

My TV schedule says 8pm but reading what everyone is saying Im afraid its not going to be on

Sharon N said...

Terry, I scrolled through the channel guide and saw Football on during the normal BB time slot and that it wouldn't be on until 1:30AM. Ugly, but it doesn't really matter since I always follow Jackie's site for updates anyway.

For those that the show will be on late, you can go to Hampsterwatch. In the left column there is a list of 9 numbers where you can watch the show. Just click on one of the cbs feeds numbers.
