Big Brother 16: Live Feeds Tuesday overnight into Wednesday - September 10

Caleb builds a better mousetrap

Ho-hum. Izzy the dog added some cuteness for a few hours, but had to be evicted (probably because she was such a threat to their games). Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Warm Fuzzies for a few hours:
  • Apparently Izzy isn't some poor dog they plucked off the streets of Hollywood to make into a star. Izzy is a professional actress with commercials and even some TV series work in her resume.
  • So now we know Izzy was only ACTING like she liked Frankie!
  • Give that doggie an Emmy!
  • I can see why they hired an acting dog, though. To put a dog into a strange environment like that, it would have to be a dog used to the public and predictably behaved.
  • While it would have made good TV for the dog to bite Frankie's face off, it would probably result in a lawsuit.
  • Sigh.
  • Oh well ... biting Frankie's face off would probably make a dog ill anyway. I don't want that.
  • I know. I know. I'm being evil.
  • My apologies.
  • (But I really want Frankie out. NOW Cody is kicking himself for not making the move to do it when the opportunity was handed to him on a silver platter with no repercussions!)
  • In other news: Since someone/something "ate" the cheese out of the mousetrap, Caleb went to great measures to build a new and better mousetrap.
  • He might need a bigger boat to catch a rat (Frankie)!
  • Heehee.
  • I know. I'm being mean again.
  • As I previously mentioned, they're going to be haunted the rest of their days in the house by a rodent who never existed in the first place.
  • Good.
  • They need something to occupy their time.
  • Perhaps the hamsters should just embrace their rodent cousin!
  • Until it EATS THEM IN THEIR SLEEP!
  • Ahem.
  • Can you tell I'm grasping at straws to find something new to report on in this entry?
  • It's been the same-old, same-old ... button worries/anticipation, who should go with whom to the final three/two, how they need to get Frankie out, how clueless Caleb is ...
  • There ya go.

King Derrick (needs to banish Frankie!)

Still a bunch o' slobs

Cody gives Izzy treats

A boy and his (rented) dog

I've been telling Cody this for weeks. He wouldn't listen. Now the person who will pay the price is HIM.

I thought Izzy might be a therapy dog. These folks are delusional about so many things.

So it's looking like nobody will be evicted tonight, they will just have the HOH comp and begin the week over. Which means, even if they have the opportunity to get Frankie out, we still have to put up with him for another week. I honestly don't know if I can do that. I watched most of the show last night with my tv on mute because I can't stand to hear him talk about how fabulous he is. Please tell me we are getting very close to the 15 minutes of fame running out for him and his sister. She is just as bad as him. Her show was was cancelled because she couldn't get along with her costars. Shocking!

Once the button puts this week in a rewind that would mean that Derrick can't compete in the HOH comp. Victoria is useless in comps so the comp will be among Frankie,Caleb and Cody. Caleb is so wishy washy when it comes to Frankie that I will have to cheer for Cody because I am sure he would try to get rid of Frankie.
I personally feel that they have waited too long to get rid of Frankie and that he will be able to pull out enough HOH and POV wins to save himself till the bitter end. It saddens me but I am quickly losing hope of seeing Frankie walking out the door and being booed.

Love it!! I can use Jackie humor right now! Thanks!

Jackie you are so not mean but you are freaking hilarious...you really should be doing comedy! Your posts are the best thing about this show especially when nothing is going on..you make me lol for real!

Thanks for all you do and making my summer guilty pleasure(BB) even better.

I too feel like they have waited too long to get rid of Frankie, but it's their own stupid fault. Out of all the ones that are left, he is the best at challenges. The best thing that could happen is Cody win HOH and Derrick win POV. I really hope Derrick has been holding back in the comps and he turns it on now. I really don't want to see Frankie in the final 2.

Although this has probably been the most "expected" and un-entertaining season that I can remember, I'd rather this bunch than the bunch from last year. My skin crawls and blood pressure goes up just thinking of Spencer, Andy and Ginamarie at the end last year. I was so angry at that fact that I still get upset. Not that Mcranda or Aaryn would've made me feel any better.
This year, although I'm not a huge fan of Frankie's (he is obnoxious) none of these houseguests elicits the same emotional response as last year. I seem to be...well, just unimpressed. And bored. Seriously, utterly, bored. I really don't know how you do it Jackie. I think I would've fallen asleep EVERY time watching this bobos on the live feeds. I can tolerate about 3 minutes on BBAD.
(Oh how I miss Eric and the "games" they would do knowing they were entertaining the BBAD watchers) And really, Frankie is not entertaining in any stretch of the imagination.

Bring on The Amazing Race and Survivor!

Aren't we going to get "a week of Big Brother" in one night a la a double eviction week? 5 people still in the house, finale night is in 2 weeks.

I agree about the dog. Dogs who are trained or well socialized are much better going into a strange house with strangers and being OK with it. Although my sister's dog is not well trained, she has been well socialized since her early puppy days, being out and about with people. So that came in handy when my sister was hospitalized and recovering from major surgery, the dog was able to be in another home and thrieve for a few months. But I worried that if the dog stayed longer, she would have diarrhea from all the dog treats they were giving her. As most dogs would eat treats and keep eating them if they could. We even disguse the dog food as a treat , LOL, to keep our dog eating more dog food and fewer treats.

I think they will all regret not getting Frankie out when they could. They had multiple chances to do so. This may come back to haunt them for a long time.

Anon. Not sure what they are going to do about the eviction scheduled for tonight. The timer runs out in the middle of the show so I don't think they will have time to do more than a new HOH during the live show.

They can do the HOH tonight. Then have the nomination, veto on Sunday's show. Live eviction on Tuesday and the HOH. Nominations and Veto on Wednesday. Live eviction and start of final HOH on Friday. Then they have the 90 minute finale show on Wednesday. No show on Tues. finale week.

If Frankie makes it to the F2, it will be the fault of 3 remaining HGs...
Cody for not being strong enough mentally to think for himself.
Derrick for being able to manipulate everyone... and for thinking he's just SO smart.
Caleb is just too 'simple-minded' for words. He's had more than one opportunity, doesn't actually like Frankie, but couldn't do it because he still thinks his pro-career hangs on the BIG boost he will get from someone who can't even help his own self. @@

I don't believe that most are vicious (like last year), but many other adjectives do come to mind when thinking about this year's crew.

If you look at the math, Frankie's chances, sadly, remain very good; stronger than they may seem. Allowing for Victoria's ineptitude, he has a better than 1 in 4 chance to win HOH again, and better than 1 in 5 chance to win POV. Combined, that's slightly less than a 50-50 chance that he'll win at least one of the two. That's all he (or anyone else) needs to stay. Final nominees should be two of the three comp losers.

As I predicted,"Utopia" is probably DOA and it's just a matter of timer until it's cancelled. The ratings dropped by over 50% last night with only 2.5 million watching.@@

BB as usual was the overwhelming winner of their new time slot.

David said...

Uncartie. They may continue with Utopia for a while to see if it does any better after BB is over with. I think the main amount of money they were going to spend on the show has already been spent so they can use it as a filler show now.
The problem they have is there are not any likeable people on the show. They have a few I dis-like and everyone else is just there. The narrator sounds like he is making a joke of everything. He just has that kind of voice that is hard to take serious. They are allowing them to get all modern conveniences and are going to have to make money somehow. It is just a bunch of forced together roommates living together rent free and being filmed.
I don't think it will last either for the full year.

Sharon N said...

If Utopia lasts another 1-2 months with these totally unlikable people and resulting ratings, I'll be shocked!

Maybe when BB ends, CBS can release FJG to Fox/Utopia and let him crash that show a little faster... before he heads off to Survivor! @@
What a plan!

uncartie said...

David,There is now way Utopia can last. Once viewers leave in the way they did last night the word gets out and new viewers will be impossible to attract. Besides that the fall premieres start on Sunday the 21st. There is no way it's going to compete with new season shows if it can't compete with what's on now.

Ed - Thanks for the link. That is one of many similar stories I've read. Here is one for you guys:
http://primalscreaming.wordpress.com/2014/08/26/meeting-ariana-grande-then-and-now/

Frankie, I'm sure, is NOT a nice guy in real life. He wouldn't deign to speak to the likes of Caleb or Derrick OUTSIDE this game (in fact, he'd make huge fun of them).

Is tonight a live eviction ??

Dave - I agree re Utopia. Hell, Sons of Anarchy lasted more than 2 episodes, so obviously there is no way to determine what the public wants.

Sharon N said...

Wowsers Petals, that's quite a 'reveal' on FJG's little brat sister.
The other day, I read a post linked from Facebook onto 'the other site'... it was a long and extremely ugly diatribe he had posted as he was heading to Africa. Such an ugly ugly little man, and it apparently runs in the family. :(

uncartie said...

Saw this on another site..

What are the only two man made objects you can see from space?

The great wall of China and Frankie's Ego.

monty924 said...

Lol @ unc :)))

I had the same thought too about Ari. I immediately said it must be in the DNA. Even though her manager denied all the claims, after seeing Frankie on BB how could you not believe it? @@

Looking forward to the reactions tonight on the REWIND! Should be another fun pool party :))

Well, this afternoon, I'm introducing my cougar gf to my adorable, single landscaper. I hope to be home in time for the whole show.

If FJG makes it to the final it is BIG BROTHER'S FAULT for gearing his entire season in his favor. What a nasty thing to do especially since he is so HORRID.

Sharon N said...

If FJG wins the Before/After comp, it will be, once again, Cody's fault.
Cody coached FJG at least twice (maybe more). What a stupid thing to do!

monty924 said...

I'm hoping it's something like untie the knots and ring the bell. I think they all stand a chance at that.

monty924 said...

Anon 5:42, I have to disagree. If anything, Derrick secured Frankie's rise to power by not allowing multiple attempts to get him out of there before now. BB had nothing to do with that. That's all on Derrick. jmo

Anonymous said...

I totally agree with Monty. Derrick in his arrogance said that Nuchol had to leave because she compared him to Dan. The guys were going to vote out Derrick so this is 100 percent on him that Frankie is not out.

Nick said...

Frankie thanked BB for the BOTB twist in his blog because it made sure the only way anyone would go after strong players was by attempting to backdoor them, which we all pointed out early on. So, thanks again for that dud of a twist!!

monty924 said...

Nick, I think we can thank Rachel for that, LOL. BB said earlier on it wouldn't be a season for floaters and it hasn't been other than Victoria.

Nick said...

Hahaha yep, no need for production to stock up on life vests this season. We can definitely thank Rachel and BB15 for the "Battle of the Floaters" twist.
