Big Brother 17: Live Feeds Overnight into Thursday - July 30

Now, if I stay ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Anxiety Acne:

  • Jason packed his stuff up and is all but sure he's going to go home.
  • Yet, Meg egged him on to keep trying.
  • After all, if he goes, she loses her only real friend and confidante in the house.
  • Poor Meg.
  • Vanessa has applied for TAR and Survivor in addition to BB.
  • Lots of childhood, hometown and such talk.
  • Austin thinks Jason probably isn't liked all that much by America.
  • Hmm. I think Jason is more popular with fans than Austin. Austin blew a lot of his possible game by acting like an idiot with the Liz no-mance.
  • The fact that he doesn't realize it's a no-mance is making many of the fans mock him.
  • Including me.
  • Liz reaffirmed that she doesn't like Austin, this time to Steve.
  • Austin and Jackie had a long talk and mended fences.
  • Well, on the surface, the fences are mended. But it's like painting over rusted barbwire.
  • It won't be long before the rust and barbs work their way through.
  • Jason began his campaign, this time with even more gusto ... even saying he'd go after Jackie.
  • Of course, Jackie has told him that she will vote to keep him.
  • We'll see.
  • I don't think Chelli is buying what he's selling.
  • Despite his valiant efforts, I think Jason will be a goner tonight.

I'm telling a story here!

Talk about boredom

Bowling for no dollars

What will happen?

At least I'm safe right now

Imagine if I stay ...

No one should ever accuse Meg of not planning ahead in the game.

She announced that she's put Taylor Swift and Sarah Bareilles on her HOH music request list.

I have a dream. Becky is voted out (she is only a paperweight) and Jason stays. Not a big Jason fan but he does seem to be the best game player of the underdogs. If James, Meg, Jackie, John, and Steve got together they could do it. Two of them win HOH and one puts up Shelli and Clay and the other puts up Austin and Liz. That would assure that someone from that alliance goes home. If the veto is won by one of them, Vanessa or Julia could go up.

As I said, it is only a dream. I don't think they are smart enough to think of that angle.

Anon, Steve thinks he is firmly in with the "In" crowd and he does not like Becky. He reports everything he sees/hears to Vanessa and Shelli. He would like to have a showmance with Julia. John, I am not sure he has any loyalty to anyone and could possibly work with either side.

I think it would be better to split the couples, one on each side if they can indeed get power. A big IF and have Vanessa as replacement if needed. I am not sure what Julia will really do when she is unleashed on Thursday other than stay loyal to her sister.

"Austin thinks Jason probably isn't liked all that much by America."

LOL. Every year it amazes me how totally clueless the HGs are about how America perceives them. The most rudest, vilest people in the house think they're America's favorites and sometimes think the most kind likable people are hated.

The best indication aside from tweets and online chatter is Joker's HG Rating Chart. Austin is DEAD LAST on the list!! Jason i NUMBER ONE.

And by DEAD LAST, I mean this chart includes even evicted houseguest like Audrey and Jace!

I always find that a bit amusing when they think they are superstars or they are America's sweetheart and adored. It has to be some gas they pump in the house. Also I was wondering if they might have the twin be safe from eviction the first week I want to think they did that before but not totally sure.

Jon, I agree, but it is kind of understandable that people who have never heard of BB before will come on the show and somehow think TV time will help them achieve some kind of fame or fortune.

However, it's astounding to me is that 'real' BB fans/followers come on and seem to they think they will be the ones who are different and will achieve it all.

Any 'fame' a few have achieved is almost entirely through the Reality Show genre. I sincerely doubt people who have never followed reality shows will have a clue about Jeff/Jordan, Brenchal, Dan (the man), and a few others who remain favorites.. and they could care less.

Listening to Donny on the podcast, but just checked in on the feed reports. Evidently they are wearing athletic gear tonight. Probably an endurance comp... hmm. Will that sway anyone to keep Jason over Becky? I doubt it, but stranger things have happened.

Monty,
I agree, it's very doubtful an athletic comp would help keep Jason.
Do you have a link to Donny's interview?

That's not 100% true, because there is always porn...a few have gone on to be successful in that lol.
