Big Brother 17: Live Feeds, Nominations Friday - August 28

Nominations are in

After continuous circular talking throughout the day, the nominations are in.

Vanessa nominated Meg and James, as per her earlier discussions with Johnny Mac and Steve. She also conferred with Austwins about doing it. Austin was reluctant.
But, looking at the situation, it probably is her best game move to work with Steve and Johnny Mac (and possibly whichever is left over from Meg and James) to take down Austwins. She's number four with them and, with Steve and JM, they're not bonded like Austwins and the playing ground will be more of an actual "best man win" situation.

Meg is in tears on and off. James is more calm and quiet.

Meg is upset

James is more calm

I do hope James wins Veto and forces Vanessa to pick a side. She will have to nominate someone, probably Steve or JM, and show who she really is loyal to. I would hope she can see the need to take out one of the twins/Austin but she just can't do it even if it costs her then game. She will spread her tale of your just a pawn to whoever she has to replace James with.

But this is all wishful thinking. The odds are not in James favor. All but 2 people will be playing for Veto and all but Meg want James out.

Did James even mention the deal with Vanessa that was broken? What did Vanessa say about that deal? Did she even remember it? What was said in Vanessa's meeeting with James and Meg?

I hope James wins veto and then gets vanesa or Austin or a twin out during the second eviction.

Glenn, I saw your question on the other post. They know or suspect that there will be another DE, but James and Meg are both thinking it will not be this week. They think it will be next week.

Thanks Monty.

This is do or die for James. Problem is, it could be the counting comp (stay/fold) and we all know that Vanessa will have the advantage at that one. :((

The only hope for others on the Counting Comp... Vanessa knows how to count cards, but I wonder if will she do that well with stay/fold on other subjects? Probably.

Even though she likes to play innocent and poor-me with everyone, she's got a busy mind that's like a steel trap. I keep waiting for these fools to realize she's been playing them everyone... all at the same time.

One bright spot: Julia doesn't seem to know when to shut up, so she might be the one to accidentally spill the beans about having a F2 with Vanessa...to Liz. Which should really tick off Liz and Austin... if Liz spills that info to him.

Vanessa seems to be thinking maybe she should keep James.
It might be a possibility since he can win comps and help her get out one of the AusTwins next?

I'm hoping she's realizing that she will need someone stronger in comps to get out one of the AusTwins... stronger than Steve/JMac, and Meg. In any case, she's definitely talking down Meg to everyone, and building up James to Austin. This could get interesting... unless she's simply on one of her endless paranoid loops.

I say probably on another paranoid loop because she always seems to come back to her original target in the end. That is why it is so frustrating listening to her ramble on and on and on just to end up back where she started.

The other site did say that Meg told Austin and the Twins about the deal that Vanessa broke about not putting up James and 1 person of James choice from the Clay week.

Julia: "How many days are there in August? 28?" @@
Brilliant...

No surprise in the nominations. It boggles my mind how some of these contestants even believe their place in the pecking order where it comes to Vanessa. I personally think she'll stay true to Austwins. She flip flops so often, who knows what she'll do? So far, though, she has remained loyal to Austwins. I do not think it will change. Unless someone succeeds in putting Vanessa and/or Austwins on the block, their chances to win are zilch. Vanessa has played a very good game.
