Ready? Let's GO!

Whoa, starting off with a Roadblock! They have a jump (bungee, I assume) and then check their Fitbits. They have to write down their heart rate. The jump is from the Victoria Falls bridge. It's a gathering point with the teams going in order of arrival. Yes, it's bungee indeed.

From there they're on their way to Paris, France. All the teams are on the same flight. Green Team gets the jump on the others.

They go to another Roadblock. This one has them on biplanes doing loops. Oh, they're not piloting the plane, mind you. They have to look for three clues -- the motto of the French Republic -- from the plane.

Justin and Diana remain in the lead. Now Logan and Chris are trailing once again -- Logan missed the third clue, so she has to do the Roadblock over. Logan and Chris miss the train.

Detour -- Drop a Mic or Bust a Crab. Singing French rap or working in a restaurant. Diana and Justin are over the honeymoon -- they're arguing a lot tonight.

Despite disagreements and quibbles, Justin and Diana are the first heading off to the Pit Stop. James Earl and Denise are lost in Paris.

Heh. Justin and Diana didn't read the final clue thoroughly. They're at the Arch de Triomphe (sp?) when they should be across from it!

1. Justin and Diana -- the race continues and they need to keep their heart rate listings going.
2. Tiffany and Krista
3. Kelsey and Joey
4. Cindy and Rick
5. Tanner and Josh
6. Chris and Logan

I might be off on the middle of the list because teams were coming in as I was typing.

James Earl and Denise are still having problems with the Detour and the "to be continued" episode ends.

Hey, Jackie and Vincent. How's the weather there?

Nickelpeed said...

Hi Jackie, Vincent and Becky!!!! Thank you for letting us have a place to stay, Jackie!!!

Jackie S. said...

Hi, Becky! Sunny, breezy and chilly today. The World Series game is going to be cold expensive seats!

Jackie S. said...

I had to watch Billy Joel sing the National Anthem before I turned to TAR.

Hi Jackie, Becky, and everyone else who show up.

Terrible weather here Becky. Raining very heavy and almost cold enough for it to change to snow. The weather people can't decide if it will get cold enough of not to change over later tonight so we will see.

I hope I stay on line. I hate AOL most of the time.

Becky said...

My heart rate is 74. It would be off the wall if I had to do that.

Becky said...

Hey, Penny and David. Yes, thank you for hosting, Jackie.

David said...

One of those things I will probably never do in my life, jump off something perfectly stable and put my trust that someone else tied the other end of the rope correctly. =)

Becky said...

LOL David! Me either. Plus, I do not like the thought of wetting my pants when I am upside down.

Nickelpeed said...

These have been such cool challenges. How fun.

Jackie S. said...

I bungee jumped once decades ago, but nothing that huge. Now it would probably rip apart my knee replacements. It's on the list of Do Nots for the knees.

Nickelpeed said...

They just do not listen at all.

Nickelpeed said...

I wanted to try bungee jumping when I was younger, not so much now. LOL

Jackie S. said...

I would bungee jump that in a sitting harness! :)

David said...

Got to read those clues people, a couple of times through if your just sitting in a cab heading some where.

David said...

If they made me try to sing anything that would probably be the end of that type of music forever. =) Of course since I don't like Rap that would probably be a good . lol

Nickelpeed said...

I would not be able to rap, so I can understand her, but I would at least try.

Jackie S. said...

No one would want me to sing.

Nickelpeed said...

I love Paris at night. It's beautiful lit up. During the day, I think Paris is just, okay.

Nickelpeed said...

They were pretty darn good!

Becky said...

Penny, check your mail, please.

Jackie S. said...

That "platter" the guys put together looked pitiful compared to ChacAttack's plate(s)

Becky said...

If it depended on me singing, boy they would give me the clue to shut me up. David you are cracking me up.

Howdy everyone!!

Sorry I'm so late and can't stay but for just a minute. Had an electrician here all afternoon doing some inspection work for us. Good news - all looks good!! Bad news, I', starving and I missed my chat!!

SueGee from the LeftCoast

Jackie S. said...

Glad it looks good, poor starving Sue.

David said...

Hi SueGee =)

I passed the electrician test they give at construction industries so I could do all the house wiring on my home I was building myself. =) I was proud of myself. The lady who gave the test said she see's a lot of electricians fail the test so she was surprised when I passed being just a home owner taking it.

Nickelpeed said...

Thank you for the heads up, Becky. Too many pups lost these last few months. :-(

SueGee said...

Never tried this from my phone before. Darn - I forgot all about Billy Joel. I bet I can find it somewhere

SueGee said...

And it hit 80 here this afternoon :)

Nickelpeed said...

Good going, SueGee. We need to figure out how to replace a double outlet. Whomever did our house did a really poor job at it. We've replaced a few, but this one is really, really weird.

It's not really funny, but my poor husband got zapped. We thought we shut the electricity off for the bathroom, but apparently it wasn't. However, he has not had one problem with his hand again. It had been hurting him for months, now it doesn't hurt at all. Apparently, the electrical zap straightened out something that was causing the pain. LOL. We didn't take any chances after that. We shut off all the electricity after that.

Nickelpeed said...

Thank you so much for hosting us, Jackie. Give Vincent a scratch for me. Will see everyone next week; and also Wednesday!!!

Another continuation already? This has been a strange season for TAR so far. they are changing it up some.
