BB19: Finally, the PoV is Over - July 8

Gah! The live feeds have been blocked for the majority of time the hamsters have been awake today.

It sounds like quite the Power of Veto Comp went down.

Neither Cody nor Jessica were picked to play this morning. And, Jason hosted.

Paul won.

And the show continues to position everything in favor of Paul....Cody and Jessica neither get pulled to play POV??? Does Paul ever stop talking long enough to listen to anyone else?

No, he likes to keep on talking. But I'm not too keen on conspiracy theories, though.

So, do we know who was picked to play in the Veto?. And I gather from watching BBAD and the way they are talking about Ramses he took this week to be self nominated.

Paul is always cocky and loud, but there's no doubt that he's also more intelligent than the majority of hamsters. Despite what could be considered 'personality flaws' (by some), the fact is, he was really good at the majority of physical and mental comps last summer, and he's showing the same capability again.

The fact is, Paul shows signs that he's one of those people capable of doing several things at the same time.... like of studying the BB house while talking and "entertaining" the other hamsters, and plotting at the same time. I gotta give him his 'due' ... not many can show his kind of mental agility.

So this was the first season that I watched the preseason interviews and after watching I was convinced that I was going to be a HUGE Cody fan. I was happy when he won HOH and thought I would follow him to the end........then the live feeds started. I went back today and watched his interview again because I couldn't remember why I liked him. Holy cow! He was so laid back, calm and rather funny. Where's that guy?

David the people who were picked to play the veto were Matt and Elena.

Susan,I'm with you. Paul has gotten guaranteed safety for almost a 3rd of the season based on the latest way to manipulate the game....temptations and curses.

Sharon, I think Kevin is just as smart or smarter than Paul and he's just been laying low in game play. I also don't buy the story that he didn't know anything about the game when he came in. He's way too street smart to come in totally blind. IMO,at some point he'll end up being one of the leaders in attempting to take down Paul.

'Production Paul' pontificating ad nauseam.........& the beat goes on

I don't mind that Paul has the power right now. We all know that can change on a dime in this game. For now it works and I really hope he takes Cody out. After that someone better work on getting Paul out before he makes it to the end. Maybe Alex and Kevin?

Allison Grodner, RIch Meehan & especially Robyn Cass really need to go. Big Brother needs new management at the top, and an infusion of new blood of innovation. This cast is horrible, uninteresting with the possible exception of the 55 yr old Kevin. That speaks loudly.

And one more thing in regards to the Vets coming back. You can just imaging the meetings at Fly on The Wall. Let's bring a vet back, but wait, he'll have a huge target. No problem, we'll "tempt" with 25K, and make the consequence, that the Vet comes in to the house. Oh, and someone loses their spot....SO UNFAIR! and then to add insult to injury, let's give him the pendant of protection so he's safe for 3 weeks and has time to integrate himself in the game....again...completely 100% UNFAIR, and UNFAIR to the integrity of the game. And yes, they GAVE him that pendant...obviously Paul would win a poll over no name hamsters on Week1.

Ed,"Production Paul". Hahaha Love it!

Fred,I hereby nominate you for the position of BB Executive Producer. You have described perfectly how the temptation/curses have been used unfairly to manipulate the game.

I agree that favortism shown to Paul is ridiculous. I am not enjoying this manipulation of the game. Bb had said that we would have all newbies. The twist is a unfair to the audience and the houseguests.

T-Town Chick, I agree. Cody was/is my favorite. Between BB making it "how can we protect Paul" and putting the 1st HH having to pick so many people to go on the block, Cody didn't stand a chance. He mad more enemies in one week than most Hampsters make in the first month. Granted, he shot himself in the foot with the Christmas nomination by not bringing in his team, but still...Cody got a raw deal and has not handled it well at all.

I agree with everything you said Fred I think BB really pushing for Paul to win its unfair

I'd love to see a BB with half being 50 year olds and the other half 60 year old. Sure some childness stuff will happen but it surely would be a very different show.
